Rashard Mendenhall Reacts To Bin Laden’s Death

Rashard Mendenhall reacts to Osama Bin Laden's death

There have been plenty of scenes of dancing in the street and and chanting USA, but not everyone is happy at the celebrations of the death of terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back, Rashard Mendenhall, didn’t share in the joy and went to Twitter to share his feelings.

“What kind of person celebrates death?” the Pittsburgh Steelers running back tweeted. “It’s amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We’ve only heard one side…”

He also expressed his doubts on whether the planes that hit the World Trade Center on September 11 caused them to collapse.

“We’ll never know what really happened. I just have a hard time believing a plane could take a skyscraper down demolition style”

Steelers President Art Rooney II responded to Mendenhall’s comments with a statement posted on the team’s website.

"I have not spoken with Rashard so it is hard to explain or even comprehend what he meant with his recent Twitter comments," Rooney said. "The entire Steelers' organization is very proud of the job our military personnel have done and we can only hope this leads to our troops coming home soon."

Glee Fleetwood Mac Rumours

Glee Fleetwood Mac Rumours

Glee Fleetwood Mac Rumours

Glee Fleetwood Mac Rumours, when Glee did a show loosely based around the Mac and their 1977 Rumours album.

Now I am a big Mac fan and not the burger variety either, so it is good to see that Fleetwood is a big hit with all the Gleeks out there.

As mentioned on the show, the album was recorded at one of the messy periods in the bands relationships, with Singer Stevie Nicks and guitarist Lindsay Buckingham having recently split and. Singer Christine McVie and bassist John McVie having just divorced after eight years of marriage.

Add to this, the coolest member of the band, founder and drummer Mick Fleetwood, finding out that his wife had been sleeping with his best friend and you have a pretty intense emotional mix.

From all of this emotional turmoil though, the band somehow managed to produce an incredible album, with all 11 songs considered rock classics.

Here are the track listings. The songs in bold were featured on Glee:

  1. Second Hand News
  2. Dreams
  3. Never Going Back Again
  4. Don’t Stop
  5. Go Your Own Way
  6. Songbird
  7. The Chain
  8. You Make Loving Fun
  9. I Don’t Want to Know
  10. Oh Daddy
  11. Gold Dust Woman

One of my favorite songs from the Rumours album, is Go Your Own Way and a great video of it is presented below.
