Will Smith's Movable Mansion Angers SoHo Residents In NYC + Will He And Jada Be Oprah's Last Guests?

Posted: 11 May 2011 07:15 AM PDT

As Will Smith films MIB III (Men In Black 3) he has residents of NYC's SoHo neighborhood upset about his double-decker movie trailer taking up space and resources.  See the pics inside and also, find out if Will and Jada will appear on Oprah before she leaves the show...

Can being fabulous sometimes go too far?  Residents in SoHo seem to think so as the world's biggest movie star has moved onto their streets in a super-large deluxe double decker trailer while he films his latest movie.

Will's trailer is nicknamed "The Heat," and

"...includes a lounge, a movie room with a 100-inch screen, marble floors throughout, offices for his assistants and writing staff, a large bedroom and all-granite bathroom. It measures about 53 feet long, has 22 wheels and weighs in at around 30 tons."

The trailer, which is 1,150 square feet, is the size of an average two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments in NYC and costs $9,000 a week.

"Its ridiculous! I've lived here 26 years, and I've never seen anything this size," 62-year-old Myrna Reisman told the NY Post.  She lives next to where the trailer was parked yesterday at Broome and Greene streets.

"This thing is like a duplex.  How would Will Smith feel if I parked that thing out in front of his house? People forget this is a residential neighborhood, not a film lot -- that thing is taking up half our gasoline reserve."

Neighborhood residents say that the trailer unsightly, and it creates bad smelling fumes while eating at the bottom line of local businesses.

When asked about the trailer, a rep for Sony Pictures Entertainment, said,

"We know we are guests in the neighborhoods where we film, and are always respectful of the area residents and businesses."

SMH....is Will just being fabulous or a bit selfish?

And in other Will and Jada news....

The Daily reports that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith may be the big guests on Oprah's grand finale show.  No word from HARPO yet but I can't wait to watch.

PERFORMANCE FAB: Kayne West Has A Moody Moment At The MoMA

Posted: 11 May 2011 06:03 AM PDT

Kanye West performed at The Museum of Modern Art in New York last night and we have pics of him performing inside.

Last night, Kanye West performed at the 2011 MoMA Party In The Garden Benefit honoring Patricia Phelps De Cisneros, Mimi Haas, Jill Kraus and Sharon Percy Rockefeller.

And according to the NY Times, the artist gave one of his most moody performances ever,

"For most of the 45 or so minutes that he’d been onstage, Mr. West had been moody, dour, even irritated at points, a star who enthralled even at low wattage."

Then as he performed songs like "Good Life" and "Runaway" he threw in ad-libs like,  After “Thank you for loving me when they told you not to love me,” and “I’m sorry about anybody out there that had to fight for me.” He also asked, “Do you know what it feels like to be hated, do you know what it feels like to be degraded?”

And while seeming diconnected at some points with his hoodie pulled over his face, he surprised the audience when Jay-Z joined him to perform "H.A.M." and "Empire State of Mind."

But there were some happier moments during the show.  At some point, he talked about his mom and said.  “I know she’s smiling down.”

Mike Epps Curses Out A Woman Who Served Him On Stage + "Braxton Family Values" Gets Renewed

Posted: 10 May 2011 12:54 PM PDT

Mike Epps got a little carried away on stage recently after a young woman served him with court documents during the middle of a performance.  Find out what he said and get the deets on Toni Braxon's latest "hit" inside....

According to TMZ, Mike was doing a show at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie when a woman walked up to the stage and handed him some papers stemming from a lawuit about a previous club brawl.  Then Mike went all the way to the left.

Mike looked down and said, "White b*tch just threw some papers up on the mother f*cking stage ... b*tch, f*ck you.

"This is from when I whooped that n*gga's ass in Detroit."

And as the process server walked away he said,  "B*tch, I don't give a f*ck ... suck my d*ck."

Maybe the "performer" in Mike got carried away and he felt like he had to impress his audience, but do you think he got carried away?

We told you earlier that Mike and some friends beat up a photographer at the Key Club in Detroit and now it's back to haunt him.  But should he take it out on the process server?

And on television.....

After a long abscence from the pop charts, Toni Braxton finally has another "hit" on her hands.  WE TV has announced that a second season of "Braxton Family Values" starring Toni Braxton and her four sisters – Tamar, Trina, Towanda and Traci, has been ordered.  Fans have really taken to the family dynamics, espcially Tamar Braxton and her "overthetop.com" dramatics. I'm looking forward to a second season.

MAGAZINE FAB: "O" Magazine's June 2011 Double Cover + Oprah Talks Of Leaving

Posted: 10 May 2011 09:59 AM PDT

In the June 2011 issue of "O" Magazine, Oprah shares some of her earliest memories of the show from 1986 and what she will take with her when she leaves.  See the highlights inside...

Can you imagine Oprah taking your lunch order?  Well...she used to.  In the June 2011 issue of her namesake magazine, she said,

“The first few years when the staff was still less than 12 people, I used to hang out with them because we were doing live shows, and we’d be done by 10 a.m. We had four people in four chairs, and that was it. Those were the days where I’d be the one taking the lunch order.

I would walk around asking, ‘Okay, is it gonna be Taco Bell today, or are we doing Wendy’s?’ And then we’d go out and party at night.”

When asked about her favorite gifts, she talked about one in particular:

“The one thing I’ll take is the statue of Sojourner Truth that Jamie Foxx gave me for my birthday last year…Even in my youth, she was the historical figure I most identified with. Because even though she was born a slave, she was able to speak. She could communicate with people from all different backgrounds. She could speak to the most disenfranchised groups, and she could also speak to Congress.

She was invited to the White House by Lincoln. Jamie didn’t know that I’d been reciting her “Ain’t I a Woman?” speech my whole life, or that when I die, I want to go out like a comet in the sky, which is something she said about her own life. But he gave me that statue, and it will come with me when I go.”

And when speaking of the show's legacy, she said

“I genuinely feel appreciated and loved by this audience that has grown up with me. Which, for me, is a huge, huge, huge accomplishment. Because I grew up feeling the opposite of that. Feeling a void, as a little girl, feeling that really nobody loved me.

So to be surrounded by this, that is what I’m going to feel. And when you see the tears on the last show, that’s what those tears will be about. Those tears will not be about sadness.”

Can you believe it's coming to an end?
