| The Battle Between Bots, Bosses, And Bears! Posted: 10 Jul 2011 01:00 PM PDT So, which movie won at the box office this weekend?? In its second weekend, Transformers: Dark of the Moon came in first place with $47 million, a good number, but a 52% decline from last week's explosive weekend. Don't feel too bad for the producers though because the movie so far has racked up a crazy impressive 12-day total of $261 million. Holy Optimus Prime! The HIGHlariously funny comedy Horrible Bosses starring Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey finished the weekend in second place with a strong start with $28.1 million. And looks like the kiddies dragged their parents to see Kevin James' Zookeeper, which came in at the third spot with $21 million. Guess kids can't say no to cute CG animals! | Jay-Z To Begin Work On New Solo Album!! Posted: 10 Jul 2011 12:20 PM PDT Okay, so, sure we're a little disappointed that Jay-Z and Kanye did NOT release their collaboration Watch The Throne this past July 4th. BUT, some good news is keeping us a little distracted. Jay has revealed that he's been working on his TWELFTH solo album and has already recorded two new songs for the record. While working with 'Ye on their album together, Jay says that he's been inspired to do a follow-up to his critically-acclaimed 2009 album, The Blueprint 3. He says:
Meanwhile, Jay has also said that he and Kanye just recently had a private listening party for their new album so looks like a release date could be very, very close. Just keep the new music coming! We're dying to hear what you guys have in store for us. [Image via WENN.] |
| Posh Pops Too! It's A Day Of Babies In La La Land! Posted: 10 Jul 2011 11:59 AM PDT Let's celebrate and pass out those pink candy cigars! Kate Hudson isn't the only celeb to give birth today! Victoria Beckham had her baby girl! Oh yes, Posh and hubby David, welcomed their little girl on Sunday. The Beckham princess weighed in at a very healthy 7 lbs., 10 oz. The family's spokesperson said, "Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family." And if Romeo had it his way, the little girl would be named "Justine Bieber Beckham." LOLz, but hopefully Posh and Becks didn't give in to their son's demands and chose a more beautiful, Bieber-less name for the little tot. We are so happy for the entire Beckham family! Duncan James of the British boy band Blue is denying that he posted a semi-nude pic of himself on the gay site GuysWithPhones.com. Duncan took the photo of himself wearing nothing but some very tight white briefs , but he says that he took them for a "friend" and it ended up in the wrong hands. The singer, who came out as bisexual in 2009, says:

Ball in Greenville, North Carolina on November 18th? The Marine, stationed in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, posted a video (above) asking the starlet to be his plus one at the upcoming ball. The guy even has a YouTube page dedicated the cause, called GoWithMeMila. We think it's absolutely adorable. And come on, Mila, you have a few months to clear your calendar and attend the ball with Sgt. Moore. Do it for your country, Mila. |

Kate, fiance Matt Bellamy, and Kate's 7-year-old son Ryder must be thrilled! | Halle Berry Calls Cops On Intruder! Posted: 10 Jul 2011 10:20 AM PDT So scary! Halle Berry had to call the cops when an intruder was seen jumping the wall onto her property and lurking in the front yard of her home on Saturday. Several people inside the house saw the man and ran outside, but they were too late. He scaled the wall and fled the scene. Halle still called the police and sources say that the LAPD are investigating the incident. The guy is rumored to be a paparazzo, which is totally not cool. We get that photogs want to get a shot of Halle, but climbing onto private property is AGAINST THE LAW. We're just glad that Halle and everyone who witnessed the intruder are safe. | Bridesmaids Star Melissa McCarthy Joins Judd Apatow Comedy Posted: 10 Jul 2011 09:40 AM PDT Oooh yay! We loved her in Bridesmaids! Scene-stealer Melissa McCarthy will be joining the new Judd Apatow comedy, which will center around the Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann characters from Knocked Up. Child star Ryan Lee has also joined the cast, playing the son of Melissa's character. Albert Brooks and Megan Fox are also stars in the cast. So far the movie has yet to be titled and the plot has been kept secret, but with a cast as amazing and diverse as this one, it will not disappoint. Fun timez! Looking forward to seeing it! Monica and her Los Angeles Laker Shannon Brown married for a second time on Saturday in front of hundreds of friends and family. The couple wed back in November '10 in a private ceremony, but opted for a much more extravagant ceremony this time around, exchanging vows a Vibiana, a 19th century cathedral in downtown El Lay. Celebs like Lala Vazquez, Carmelo Anthony, and Shannon's fellow teammates like Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher were in attendance, who wore shades of blue to the event, requested by the husband bride.
