Tia Mowry-Hardrict Writing "Oh Baby!" Book + Naomi Campbell Upstages The Bride At The Monaco Royal Wedding?

Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict have some exciting things on the horizon.  In addition to announcing the name of their son, Cree, Tia is working on a new book about parenting.  Get the deets inside....

 

Though this is her first pregnancy and birth, Tia Mowry has already landed a book deal about parenting.  And her first project is called Oh Baby! 

She announced the news on Twitter saying,

"Great News!!!!! I am now an AUTHOR!!! I am writing a BOOK! So excited about this new adventure! More news to follow!!! xoxo"

"I am working with Penguin Group, 4 my first book, Oh, Baby!, n which I share the experiences of my first pregnancy & the tips I've learned."

Naomi Campbell is being accused of upstaging the bride, Princess Charlene, during her wedding to Prince Albert of Monaco.

NaNa rocked a lovely Givenchy gown to the official dinner and ball of the wedding of Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene, who wore an Armani Prive cocktail dress.

Now Naomi know she wrong for that.  She looks stunning though....

 

Mary J. Blige, Trey Songz & New Edition Close Out Day 3 Of The ESSENCE FEST Mainstage, Celebs Kick It In VIP

The folks over at ESSENCE ended a very successful weekend in New Orleans for the ESSENCE Music Fest with New Edition, Trey Songz and Mary J. Blige taking the stage for the final night.  See pics of other  celebs in attendance inside....

Mary J. Blige helped close out Day 3 of The ESSENCE Music Fest taking fans through a medley of hit songs and old school dance moves.

Alright Mary.  Loving the change up in stage outfits.


 

Chick had the DOme on lock.  She closed out with "Be Without You" and had the crowd sing "I'm Going Down" to HER.  Sweet!

 

Earlier in the evening.....

 

Trey Songz hit the main stage.

 


 

Trey currently has a hit on the charts with Lupe Fiasco called "Out Of My Head."

R&B crooner Kem was also a big hit on the main stage.


 

Essence head honchos Constance White and Emil Wilbekin posed together in the lounge.

 

Anthony Mackie was seen enjoying Day 3 festivities.  


 

 

Doug E. Fresh kept the party people moving in the lounges.


 

George Clinton and his band brought their essence to the fest complete with feathers and colorful coats.  And he's finally showing his full face.

 

Also....the main stage suffered an NE heartbreak.....


 


 

The fellas' precision and dance moves are still on point.  Once Boby made his "entrance," all 6 members killed it.

Nice to see these guys can still entertain a crowd and are getting along.


 

Kelly Price was saaangin' in the super lounge.  Stokley Williams hopped on stage to sing a duet with her.


 

MC Lyte was spotted rocking the mic.


 

Nene Leakes posed with Jennifer Williams who was spotted with her new boo at the fest.


 

Nene also posed with Pebbles and Marjorie Harvey.

Jen and Shaunie looked fab in their photo together.

Steve Harvey was the MC on the main stage and he kept the crowd laughing. 


 

Steve Stoute was chilling in one of the lounges.


 

Tameka Raymond kicked it with LeToya Luckett backstage.

Then with Jen and Shaunie.

 

And Tika Sumpter posed in this eye-popping hot pink number while in the lounge with Emil.  Cute!

SPOTTED: "Basketball Wife" Jennifer Williams Brings Her "Something New" Boo Lucas To Essence Fest

Soon-to-be-divorced "Basketball Wife" Jennifer Williams has officially moved on.  TheYBF.com was on hand in the New Orleans Superdome last night for the last night of the Essence Music Festival.  And we spotted Jen and her "something new" boo, celebrity fitness trainer Lucas James, canoodling in the VIP lounge.

She may have just recently filed divorce papers on husband Eric Williams (long time coming), but Jennifer's found someone almost the total opposite of Eric-- and they seem head over heels for each other already.  Jennifer reportedly confirmed she and Lucas are indeed dating, but he will not be appearing on the upcoming season of "Basketball Wives."  Dude already had his reality fill as the winner of that wack "Date My Ex" show with ex-"OC Housewife" Jo De La Rosa.

The twosome seemed to try to avoid the lens of cameras (hence the grainy pics) when they were together, but the fact Jen was bold enough to bring him to one of the biggest events of the summer, they couldn't have been trying THAT hard.  Plus she's already been spotted with him at other official events in Miami, NYC, Phoenix, and plenty of other places.

Her brunette, tall, hot and handsome new boo was glued by her side most of the night.  And we caught them snuggling up backstage while watching New Edition perform:

Then, of course, she grabbed her girl Shaunie O'Neal to go make some drinks over at the Belvedere Lounge. 

Sometimes you gotta try a new flavor to find out exactly which one you like to lick...

Jay-Z & Kanye Ready Pre-Orders For "Watch The Throne" LP, Remain Mum On Release Date

Well that's one way to keep folks interested.  Jay-Z and Kanye West just put their much anticipated collabo album, Watch The Throne, up for pre-order.  You would think that means the actual release date has been revealed as well.  Negative.  But we've got the sleek album cover and pricing inside....

Jay-Z's website Life+Times, Island Def Jam's website, and Hov's social networking accounts all just put up this interesting piece of gold metallic work (below) in the midnight hour, which seems like the album cover.

On the (supposed) cover, both their names are missing, as well as the album's title.  And so is the release date.  When the cover is clicked on the sites, the options for the Deluxe CD ($16.99), the standard CD ($13.99), MP3 version Deluxe copy ($14.99) and the standard digital album ($11.99).

And even when you actually pre-order, you get no date telling you when it will arrive.  But it seems to be very soon....

Kanye already confirmed the album is complete.  Just waiting on his finishing touches.  Rumor also has it big brother & little brother will go on tour together soon after the release.

Celebs Wrap Up Essence Fest On Day 3: Selita, Trey, Taraji, ATL Housewives, & More

It's the last day of Essence Fest 2011.  And celebs were out and about in the city of New Orleans celebrating and living it up.  We've got pics of Trey Songz and Selita Ebanks chllin' with fans at Carol's Daughter, plus a silly Taraji and the ATL Housewives having some fun, when you read on....

 

Trey Songz made his intro at the Carol's Daughter pop-up store today in the French Quarter.  And the ladies pretty much went nuts.

How are we feelin' this grown out hair and facial hair look of his?

He kicked it with Spokeswoman Selita Ebanks.

Cute jumper and shooties.

Selita snapped some pics with Trey and founder Lisa Price.

And "ATL Housewives" NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey rolled to the store....with Derek J in tow.  This damn scarf Derek.

Yes indeed.

Kevin and Erika Liles were there supporting Trey.  And kickin' it with Carol's Daughter CEO Steve Stoute.

New Orleans Hornets baller Chris Paul was there.

Over at the Convention Center:

Taraji P. Henson got silly over at the McDonald's McCafe booth.  Loves her!

And after shutting down the stage last night, Jilly kicked it with fans.

Makeup guru Sam Fine chilled with the ATL "ladies" at the My Black is Beautiful booth.

And so were Tika Sumpter and Bevy Smith.  Fab times!

ON THE SET: Beyonce Rehearses For The Macy's 4th Of July Fireworks Show

Beyonce was spotted at her dress rehearsal for her performance in front of the Statue of Liberty for NBC's broadcast of "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular."  See the pics inside....

Chick looks stunning in these pics.  Looks like her performance--which also celebrate the 125th anniversary of The Statue of Liberty--is going to be stellar.  The special airs tomorrow (Monday), July 4th at 9pm ET, 8pm CT/MT.

And in other Bey news, the actress recently spoken about starring alongside Clint Eastwood and Leonardo DiCaprio in a remake of A Star Is Born.  She says it's an "unbelievable" opportunity.

Also....Bey is expected to debut at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 with 300,000 in first week projected sales of 4. The figures will released later next week.

LA Lakers baller Shannon Brown and his wife Grammy-winning singer Monica sat down for some hearty food in Pasadena, CA recently to dish about their upcoming wedding. Check it out inside....

Monica and Shannon Brown were married six-months ago but now they are planning a huge celebration of their union in Atlanta in front of their family and friends. 

During a recent interview, they sampled appetizers for their wedding menu and talked about meeting and falling in love with each other.  Monica also shared that she performs better on a full stomach because it allows her to focus.

ESSENCE FAB: The Braxton Sisters & Mary J. Blige Hit The Carol's Daughter Pop-Up Store+Laz & Boris Get All-White Sexy

Fab times were in store--literally--for The Braxton sisters and Mary J. Blige yesterday in New Orleans.  The ladies made their way to the Carol's Daughter pop-up store, where TheYBF.com was the designated live-coverage media, and chatted it up with fans.

 

We've got pics and video from the events, plus pics of Laz Alonso and Boris Kodjoe looking all kinds of good at Essence's All-White Affair, and an Essence.com current live stream from the festivities in case you're missing all the action.....

 

Tamar.com and Trina Braxton posed it up with Mary at the CD pop-up store yesterday.  Tons of fans came by to get autographs with the ladies--and if you're following us on Twitter you got all our insider footage yesterday.

Can't help but love that damn Tamar.

Mary and her denim short shorts and Hermes belt--bringing us right back tot he early 90's--chilled out in the decked out store.

And she pushed out her brand new second fragrance, My Life Blossom.

She made a wild arrival with founder Lisa Price in a second line parade all the way from the New Orleans Convention Center down to the French Quarter pop-up store:

WHO RAN IT?! Rocsi VS. Mary J. Blige's Zac Posen Faceoff!

BET host Rosci Diaz and Mary J Blige were spotted in the same dress--about 1 week apart--from the Pre- Fall 2011 Zac Posen collection.  Decide who ran it best inside....

Over the weekend, Mary J Blige and her delicious curves hit the "2011 McDonald's 365 Black Awards" in a hip hugging, sleeveless, leopard print Jacquard Bustier Zac Posen mini-dress. She rocked this look with gold hoop earrings, a sleek blonde bob, and black slingback peeptoe heels.

But last week, Rosci wore the dress first to Debra Lee's 5th Annual Pre BET Awards Celebration dinner. Rosci paired the grey cocktail dress with a simple bracelet, a cute pulled back 'do, and nude sandals.
