Donald Trump Praises Obama For Bin Laden Death Posted: 02 May 2011 11:40 AM PDT Guess he won't be insisting on seeing a death certificate. This morning, Donald Trump has seemingly moved past the politics and has put aside his criticism of President Obama to congratulate him on the death of Osama bin Laden. Moments ago, he released the following statement to offer praise to the Prez. He said:
Happy to see you've come to your senses. Try to remember this moment when you give you campaign tactics a second look in the coming weeks. [Image via WENN.] |
Jim Caviezel "Shunned" By Hollywood For The Passion Of The Christ! Posted: 02 May 2011 11:30 AM PDT It seems like he's pretty comfortable with his choice, so more power to him! Jim Caviezel, who portrayed Jesus in Mel Gibson's controversial film, The Passion of the Christ, recently spoke out about portraying the son of God on film during a speech at a Florida mega-church in promotion of a new audiobook version of the Bible, and claimed that his participation in the click resulted in being shunned by Hollywood!
Well, it seems as though it was a very important role for him to take, at least spiritually, so we hope that he doesn't look back with too much regret! What do U think? Should Jim have been shunned for appearing in The Passion of the Christ? [Image via WENN.] |

Christina Milian & Her Baby At The Beach! Posted: 02 May 2011 11:10 AM PDT How nice! Some fun in the sun at South Beach! We're actually kind of jealous! Over the weekend, Christina Milian was spotted with her daughter enjoying the surf and sun in Miami. She's super precious, isn't she?! Such a cute little tyke! And Christina - you're looking good too! Actually, we thought you were Janet Jackson for a second there. Doesn't she kind of look like JJ? Check out more shots of the cuties at the beach in the gallery (below). [Image via Ramey Pix.] |
Facebook Helping Tornado Victims Posted: 02 May 2011 10:50 AM PDT So cool! Think of it as a digital "Lost and Found" for those who lost things in the devastating and tragic tornadoes these past few weeks. Started by an Alabaman woman, Patty Bullion, the Facebook page is geared towards reuniting Tornado victims with lost pictures, documents and personally identifiable things:
Such a great idea. We hope people see and find things that they've lost, with the help of some tech-savvy samaritans! Here's how it started:
Things are being identified left and right, too, as the number of people joining the group grows in numbers, including a picture of two people who lost their lives, which was then claimed by grieving family members. The page has also become a place for those to express their emotions and thoughts for those who went through that terrible time. The page is called, "Pictures and Documents found after the April 27, 2011 Tornadoes." Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by the horrific weather. Let's hope for a speedy recovery. The Duke & Duchess Of Cambridge Ended Their Wedding Day In Style Posted: 02 May 2011 10:40 AM PDT Would you have expected anything less?! So far, we've heard all the wonderful and glorious details about how Prince William and his new bride, Catherine Duchess of Cambridge, spent their wedding night amongst friends and family at their reception - but how did it all end? When the evening finally came to a close, all of the couple's loved ones were asked to go out to the fine lawns behind the palace where a little Fiat, a classic Cinquecento model, sat waiting for the bride and groom. With the top open, it was decked out with balloons and one of the servants waiting in the drivers seat to escort the couple off into the sunset. As the car pulled away, huge fireworks lit up the sky for almost two minutes. How romantic! A perfect end to a perfect day! Now….where's the honeymoon???? [Image via WENN.] |

Details About Osama Bin Laden's Death And Burial. Posted: 02 May 2011 10:20 AM PDT Wow. Truly such a historic day. Now that it's been confirmed that after a nearly-ten year search, Osama bin Laden was found and killed by American troops, new details are emerging about his death. The terrorist was located inside a large military compound in Abbottabad, an hour north of Islamabad, with no internet or phone connection. According to sources, American operatives have known about his location since last summer, and have been strategizing their plan of attack since then. Finally, they descended upon him yesterday, and he was said to have "resisted the assault force" by using a woman as a shield against the attack and later with an automatic weapon. Special Forces Navy Seals then shot him through the head, finally killing him. One of his sons, two couriers, and the aforementioned woman were also killed during the 40-minute raid. In accordance with Islamic law, his body has been buried at sea. Our thoughts are with all of the people who lost someone in the 9/11 attacks, as well as all of the innocent lives lost yesterday during the raid. May they all rest easy knowing that bin Laden can't hurt anyone else. [Image via AP Images.] |
