Watch: Kelsey Grammer Serenades His Wife At Their Wedding, Sings ‘What Kind Of Fool Am I?’

Posted: 28 Feb 2011 02:42 PM PST

Last Friday evening, Kelsey Grammer and his mistress-turned-fiancée Kayte Walsh got married in a lavish ceremony on Broadway at the Longacre Theater in NYC, NY. Today, TMZ brings us video from inside Kelsey and Kate‘s wedding reception where the groom serenaded his blushing bride with a mournful rendition of the song What Kind of Fool Am I? Oh, then the vid cuts to Kelsey dancing on the dancefloor. Ready to cringe? Read on.

Rumor has it Kelsey Grammer doesn’t have a prenup with his new bride Kayte Walsh — which makes his song choice at his wedding kind of ironic … “What Kind of Fool Am I?” TMZ obtained video of the wedding reception on Friday — and in another possible bit of foreshadowing, the new couple also danced to “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg.” Like Notorious B.I.G. said … mo’ money, mo’ problems.

Awwww … I mean, I don’t know anyone who is all gung-ho about this marriage except for Kelsey and Kayte themselves but … it looks like they had themselves a very nice wedding. The singing isn’t great and the dancing is atrocious … so it was a typical wedding reception :) Congrats, again, to the happy couple. May this be the last marriage for the both of them … tho, I doubt it.

Cruz Beckham Goes Skateboarding, Wipes Out, Cries

Posted: 28 Feb 2011 01:29 PM PST

When last we saw photos of little Cruz David Beckham and his brothers Brooklyn Joseph and Romeo James skateboarding in SoCal, it was November they were with their father David Beckham at a local skate park. Becks spent the next 3 months out of the country but returned last weekend to be with his family (and LA Galaxy soccer team) again. Shortly thereafter, the Beckham boys returned to the skate park to do a bit of skateboarding and, for the most part, they had a great time … that is, until little Cruz wiped out and got hurt.

As you can see, Cruz has got some skills. For a little dude, he managed to pull off some sweet tricks. Unfortch, his skill ran out and subsequently, he fell down and got hurt … then came the tears:

Awww … he’s so cute. Ah well … there ain’t a single one of us who didn’t start bawling our eyes out whenever we got hurt at this age. Was he overdoing it? Probably. Did we all overdo it at that age? Absolutely. The Beckham boys are a cool group of kids. It really does seem like their parents are raising ‘em right … tho, the insistence on wearing protective padding might curb the crying on future visits to the skate park.

Kirstie Alley, Wendy Williams, Chris Jericho & More Reportedly Sign On For ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Posted: 28 Feb 2011 12:30 PM PST

The full cast of the upcoming season 12 of Dancing with the Stars will not be officially revealed until later tonight on ABC but TMZ has come upon a list of 6 of the 11 celebrities who have reportedly been cast for the show. Among the rumored season 12 cast is a wrestler, a lil’ rapper and a former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner. Read on to find out which z-list celebs will supposedly compete for the mirror ball trophy this season.

WWE star Chris Jericho is locked in for the next season of “Dancing with the Stars” … along with Kirstie Alley, rapper Lil’ Romeo, and Kendra Wilkinson … TMZ has learned. So far, we’ve confirmed 6 of the 11 celebrities who will appear on the show as well as their partners — check it out:

– Chris Jericho & Cheryl Burke
– Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy
– Lil’ Romeo & Chelsie Hightower
– Kendra Wilkinson & Louis van Amstel
– Wendy Williams & Tony Dovolani
– Disney star Chelsea Kane & Mark Ballas

“DWTS” will officially announce the celebrity cast tonight during “The Bachelor.”

Meh … same ol’, same ol’. Unless the rest of the cast is rounded out with Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan and James Franco (but only if he promises to be stoned for the entire season) then I’m not at all impressed. I love Wendy Williams so I’d root for her from this list of known contestants. I guess I’m minorly curious about which other celebs will make up the cast of DWTS. Any fans of the show out there? Are you happy with these celebs should they be confirmed as part of the cast?

Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Enjoy A Date Night On Oscar Night

Posted: 28 Feb 2011 11:43 AM PST

Earlier this month we saw photos of new couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez holding hands and generally lookin’ all coupley together at the beach in SoCal. Last night, Justena make their official red carpet debut as boyfriend/girlfriend when they showed up together at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. As you can see in the following photos, Justin and Selena looked quite enamored of one another … could this young love be turning into true lurve?

They’ve used every cliché in the book, describing each other as “family”, “best friends” and “great” people – anything to avoid confirming a relationship. But Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber let actions speak louder than words (again) Sunday night when they turned up together at Vanity Fair’s post-Oscars bash. Gomez, in a red Grecian gown by Dolce & Gabbana, and Bieber, in a black tux – with a red pocket square to match his date – looked every bit the comfortable couple as they posed with their arms around each other before the party, held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood. As the night went on, the pals shared shots on Twitter, showing Gomez sitting close to Bieber with her hand resting on his knee … Before they showed up at Sunday’s Oscar bash, Bieber and Gomez were spotted at The St. Regis Monarch Beach in Dana Point, Calif., where they enjoyed a night in the Penthouse Suite on Saturday, according to the resort. While there the pair were seen cuddling, holding hands and strolling on the beach. They also shared a cozy dinner at celebrity chef Michael Mina’s Stonehill Tavern.

Sooooo … lemme get this straight … these two kids, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, shared a penthouse suite together at a hotel on the night before the Oscarstogether? HMMM. I thinkin’ there are a lot of Bieber fans out there who are trying to work up every single curse they can come up with against Selena Gomez right now. It’s kinda gross how cutely matched these two are. Do I believe that they are so in love as these images are trying to make it appear? Not at all. But, seeing these two together like this surely makes for good press … Justena are THE hot couple right now. I can’t say I blame them for milking the attention for all it’s worth. They make a cute couple. Selena and Justin are the new Britney and Justin … er, Timberlake, that is. Now that they’ve made such a splashy debut, I wonder what they’ll get up to next.

Time Out Berlin

Posted: 28 Feb 2011 11:11 AM PST

Welp … today was a total wash for David and me here in Berlin. Because we both stayed up until after 5:00 AM local time to watch the Academy Awards last night (and root for our boy Trent Reznor), we kinda slept until 2:30 PM … and then both had to work a full day of writing so … it’s now 8 PM, we’re still working and the day is basically over.

BUT, because we are here for 2 weeks, we counted on having a day or two which could be wasted and so … today was one of those days. Tomorrow night we are seeing Kylie Minogue LIVE on her Les Folies 2011 Tour so that should get us back into the swing of things. We plan on getting back on our normal sleep schedule tonight so that we can wake up and venture out into the city tomorrow morning as planned. We are planning to enjoy a late dinner tonight so … mebbe we can still salvage at least a bit of today :)

Madonna & Daughter Lourdes Take Oscar Night Together

Posted: 28 Feb 2011 10:01 AM PST

It looks like Madonna and her eldest daughter Lourdes Maria (who recently gave her first TV interview ever) have become the best of friends these days. Not only are the ladies co-collaborators on a juniors line of clothing called Material Girl but they hit the town together on Oscar Night last night. Upon arrival at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Maddy and Lola caused a sensation on the red carpet … Lola for her gorgeousness, Maddy for the fact that she was missing the bottom half of her outfit.

It’s every 14-year-old’s worst nightmare. You get a ticket to the coolest party in town, but then your mother spoils it by tagging along wearing inappropriate clothing and what’s worse, exposes her behind to all and sundry. According to Mail Online spies on the red carpet, that’s just what happened when 52-year-old Madonna left daughter Lourdes blushing with embarrassment on the red carpet of the Vanity Fair party last night. The Material Girl had gone out wearing little more than a black leotard and a few scraps of lace and the mortified teen was heard pleading: ‘Mum, do you have to?!' every time her popstar parent struck a pose and poked out her posterior for the waiting cameras. In an attempt to shame her mother into being less shameless, Lourdes was also heard to cry: ‘But you tell me to behave like a grown-up’ everytime her bottom got brandished again … Madonna was wearing the tacky outfit – finished off with fishnets and black platform stilettos – to the bash at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. The star was rumoured to be have been hosting her own post-Oscars party, boasting a royal theme with music provided by British DJ Paul Oakenfold. Lourdes meanwhile was wearing a tiny Aztec-inspired print mini-dress, thought to be from the fashion range she’s launched with her mother, Material Girl.

LOL! Whatever … I sincerely doubt that Lourdes was embarrassed by her mother. For her part, Madonna looked amazing last night … she still has the goods to make an outfit like this work. I have the sneaking suspicion that Maddy and Lola will be hanging out a lot more in the coming weeks and months. Now that Lourdes is coming into her own, Madonna finally has a new playmate to run around town with. This mother/daughter duo could cause some serious commotion together. Are you ready for it?

First Look: Lady Gaga, ‘Born This Way’

Posted: 28 Feb 2011 08:58 AM PST

Lady Gaga has just unleashed a new music video for her new single Born This Way (reportedly, the first of two videos due for release) and, as you may recall, my source at the music video shoot revealed a couple of weeks ago that the video would feature a lot of facial prosthetics, a futuristic Star Trek-like setting and a birthing scene. Check out the video below and see if my source was right.

To be honest, nothing about this video seems surprising or necessarily inventive … it strikes me as just another Lady Gaga video. In fact, this video in particular struck me as very Marilyn Manson-esque. You may recall that MM was doing this kind of outlandish, future/space stuff years ago. Watch the video below and judge for yourselves:

Um … there is a lot of stuff going on this video. While some of it is ostentatious and truly over-the-top, I’m happy to see that my source on the video set was absolutely right. Gaga does give birth in Born This Way. This was the same source who dished to me that Britney Spears would be shooting paint from her hands in her Hold It Against Me music video weeks before the vid was released. Woot!! What do y’all think? Are you impressed? Is this, in your estimation, a good video?

First Listen: Willow Smith, ’21st Century Girl’

Posted: 28 Feb 2011 08:39 AM PST

Last month we saw photos from the SoCal set of Willow Smith‘s new music video for her second single 21st Century Girl. Today we get to hear the song in FULL. Whip My Hair this song is not … in fact, it sounds a bit Ke$haish to me in some parts. I like the chorus but the rest of the verses do not sound very Willow Smith to me. Listen to the song below see what YOU think.

It’s a good pop song but it doesn’t really sound like I thought it would. Whip My Hair was immediately infectious to me21st Century Girl seems to be a grower.

I’m not instantly crazy in love but I can see how I may like it more over time. Do you like this track? Are you impressed.

Watch: Jimmy Kimmel Gets Lindsay Lohan To Star In His Faux Work-Out Video

Posted: 28 Feb 2011 08:21 AM PST

Jimmy Kimmel hosted his annual post-Academy Awards episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and ended up featuring a pre-taped video skit that starred some of Hollywood’s hottest ladies and, yet, seemed to go on and on and ON for-freaking-ever. In the clip, Jimmy is parodying an infomercial for the Hottie Body Hump Club alongside ladies like Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria and, yes, even Lindsay Lohan. Check out the skit below and see for yourselves.

In all honesty, making a parody video about a work-out regimen that is pseudo sexual is so old and tired, I can’t believe people think stuff like this is funny anymore. But, because Lindsay Lohan is in it, it’s sure to get attention (case in point, this blogpost). The clip is long and you have to wait (or skip ahead) to the end to see Lindsay in action … behold:

I mean … meh, right? Tho, if you compare this Lindsay Lohan to the crazy Charlie Sheen we saw earlier today … she looks much better in comparison, don’t she? As for this clip … it’s not that great … and proof that a lot of big name starlets doesn’t necessarily equal entertainment. What do y’all think?

Watch: Charlie Sheen Says CBS Owes Him A BIG Apology While ‘Licking My Feet’

Posted: 28 Feb 2011 07:12 AM PST

The Charlie Sheen crazy media train is stormed thru Hollywood full steam ahead. Yesterday we got a sneak peek at an upcoming interview Sheen did with ABC News that is set to air tomorrow night … but The Today Show, on NBC, seems to have scored an exclusive of their own in order to capitalize on Sheen‘s insanity today rather than waiting for tomorrow. A reporter from The Today Show interviewed Charlie in his home yesterday and aired part 1 of their interview with him (in two segments) this morning. In the first segment, Sheen insists that he will require $3 million an episode to return to Two and A Half Men for season 9 (or 10). In the second segment, he really lets his crazy flag fly … it’s video you have to see to believe.

There are so many gems of Charlie‘s manic insanity in these two videos. This first clip is shorter but it showcases his delusions very well:

This second clip is longer and is chock full of CRAZINESS. When asked point blank if he is on drugs (during the interview), his answer of “Duh!” is just classic! When asked how he kicked his addictions he replied, “I closed my eyes and made it so with the power of my mind”. Yeah. The rest of the interview, likening himself to a “warlock” who believes that “defeat is not an option” shows, IMHO, how unhinged he truly is. Watch and wonder … it’s really a sight to see:

As uncomfortable as it is sometimes to see someone so obviously unwell unraveling before our eyes, I can’t help but keep watching … I’m very seriously afraid of how this craziness is going to end. Sheen is the father of 5 children … two baby boys … it’s really sad to see this man fall apart on national TV. The Today Show will air part 2 of their interview yesterday with Sheen … he is, apparently, dating two women now … women he refers to as “the goddesses”. This insane media blitz is only just beginning … and it remains to be seen how far all of this will go. I have a hard time seeing how this will end happily. I guess we’ll just have to buckle our seat belts ad see hot it all turns out.

The 2011 Academy Awards Have Been Handed Out

Posted: 28 Feb 2011 06:33 AM PST

And so … the 83rd annual Academy Awards have been handed out, bringing to a close another long awards season. Despite efforts to make the Oscars telecast a “young and hip” affair, this year’s show — IMHO — ended up feeling “old and boring” as usual. BUT, there were some very well-deserved awards handed out last night, tho not many surprises. The biggest award went to The King’s Speech, a British film that ended up with 4 Oscars in total. Inception, which really hasn’t won any major awards all awards season long, tied The King’s Speech with 4 Oscars. The Social Network, once considered a front-runner for Best Picture, ended up with only 3 awards — but one of those Oscars went to my boy Trent Reznor and his collaborator Atticus Ross for Best Original Score. For me, this was an Oscars to remember … but only for Reznor‘s win and not much else.

The red carpet, to me, felt a bit … boring. Yes, there were some amazing looks on the carpet and many beautiful people … but thinking back, no one really stood out to me. Yes, Mila Kunis looked lovely in her light purple dress but … so what? It wasn’t all that groundbreaking. There didn’t seem to be the flair or the inventiveness of previous awards shows. As for the show itself, ugh, it seemed just as long and bland as any other Oscars show with older hosts running the show. I can’t even think of a planned joke that made me laugh. The only thing I really remember was the mostly awkward appearance of Kirk Douglas on stage (tho, he did get a few zingers in there) and the “fuck” on live TV, courtesy of Melissa Leo. Of the two, I thought Anne Hathaway did a better job than James Franco. He didn’t seem to care at all that he was hosting the show. While I hope the folks who run the Oscars continue to get younger people to host the show, I think they should stick with comedians … rather than actors who, well, tend to overact:

These were supposed to be the younger, hipper Academy Awards, the ones that shook up the ceremony’s conventions with popular, great-looking emcees in actors James Franco and Anne Hathaway, who were unlike the middle-aged comedians and TV talk-show hosts of years past. But the results couldn’t have been more traditional, with “The King’s Speech” — a prestigious, impeccably made historical film that cries out “Oscar” with every fiber in its being — winning best picture and three other prizes over more daring, contemporary contenders like “The Social Network” and “Black Swan.” They also couldn’t have been more predictable. Front-runners in other major categories throughout this long and repetitive awards season also took home trophies from Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre Sunday night: best-actor Colin Firth for “The King’s Speech,” best-actress Natalie Portman for “Black Swan,” and supporting actors Christian Bale and Melissa Leo, both for “The Fighter.” “King’s Speech” director Tom Hooper, who’d already won the Directors Guild Award — an excellent predictor of Oscar success. Despite multiple attempts to make the Oscars seem current — including an opening montage that inserted Franco and Hathaway in the best-picture nominees, “Inception”-style, and an auto-tune “Harry Potter” spoof — some of the biggest applause and longest standing ovations were for a couple of Academy Awards stalwarts. Kirk Douglas delighted the crowd as he jokingly tormented the supporting-actress nominees before announcing Leo as the winner. Once she took the stage, the 94-year-old Douglas remarked to her, “You’re much more beautiful than you were in ‘The Fighter’” — but then Leo went on to drop an F-bomb during her acceptance speech. It was a rare unexpected moment — but the censors bleeped it in time. Later, upon the appearance of Billy Crystal — who hosted the ceremony several times in the 1990s — the audience erupted as one, as if willing him to take over immediately. Hathaway worked hard to keep the proceedings fun and light, playfully twisting in a fringy gown and joking that everyone at home should take a drink when she flubbed her introduction of last year’s best-actress winner, Sandra Bullock. Franco, who was also a best-actor nominee for the real-life survival story “127 Hours,” had a more laid-back stage presence, as if he’s been working on a sequel to the stoner comedy “Pineapple Express.”

I’m sure the author of the article above isn’t the only person who thinks that James Franco was stoned for at least part of the show last night. Instead of coming off as cool, Franco really came off as a bit of a loser. Again, I hope the Oscar folks keep working towards making the show better by infusing the show with a younger feel … but last night’s attempt really fell flat. But … let’s get back to the winners, shall we? Here are some of the happy folks posing with their shiny gold statues in the Oscar press room last night:

I’m sorry but I really can’t get over the look of happiness on Trent Reznor‘s face. I’m hoping that his upcoming TV series based on the Nine Inch Nails album Year Zero meas he has an Emmy award in his future … and that, someday, they’ll make a NIN musical so he can win a Tony award ;) For me, this year’s Academy Awards was all about Reznor‘s nomination and WIN. I had no real investment in any particular actors or films this year. I loved The King’s Speech, Black Swan and The Social Network. I’m glad each film won something :D Click HERE for a full list of this year’s Academy Award winners. Did your faves win? What did YOU think of the show? Which moments were your faves? All in all … did this Oscars serve as a hit or a miss?
