Christina Aguilera’s Drunken Arrest Gets The Animated Treatment

Early yesterday morning Christina Aguilera was arrested for public intoxication after her boyfriend was arrested for drunk driving. Today, at almost a break-neck speed, she has become a bit of a joke and is already the subject of a pretty brilliantly funny Taiwanese parody video chronicling her recent troubles. Kiefer Sutherland Has Joined Twitter

Earlier today we learned that crazy pants Charlie Sheen has joined Twitter … and right now we learn that 24 star and crazy man himself Kiefer Sutherland has also joined Twitter. Both men joined Twitter yesterday but, as you can guess, Charlie was the one who got all of the attention. But I’ve got mad love for the Kief. Read on to see his first tweets to the world.


There was once a time that Kiefer was considered a bad boy who routinely would get himself into trouble after drinking a bit too much booze. Now, compared to Charlie Sheen, he looks like a saint. But, despite all of Kiefer‘s shortcomings (and there are a few), the man has managed to remain relatively in control and never went as batshit crazy as Charlie has/is/continues to do. I’m glad Kiefer Sutherland has joined Twitter. I’m thinkin’ he prolly won’t be a big tweeter but I’ll still be very happy to hear from the man himself whenever he decides to share.

First Look: Robert Pattinson On The Vancouver Set Of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’

Earlier today we got to see some photos of Robert Pattinson as featured in the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine and right now we get to see the lad on the COOOOOLD Vancouver set of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. As you may recall, we saw photos of Rob‘s arrival in Vancouver last week … so it looks like they’ve already gotten the guy hard at work.


Okay … so there ain’t much excitement going on in this photo but there sure looks to be a lot of freezing going on. I understand temps in Vancouver have gotten really cold in the past few days, which I’m sure has not been fun for the Twilight folks who have to film a movie outside in the snow. Alas … it sounds really rough being Robert Pattinson. According to the man himself, he’s been traumatized by dating Kristen Stewart and now he’s freezing his buns off for a million dollar paycheck. Poor thing :(

First Look: Britney Spears Reveals The Artwork For Her New Single ‘Till The World Ends’

Welp, I’ve got some good news and some bad news for all y’all about the soon-to-be-released second single by our dear Britney Spears. The good news is that the song Till The World Ends had been revealed as Britney’s second single from her upcoming new album Femme Fatale … even better news is that the song will be released on March 14. The bad news is that the song was co-written by Lukasz Dr. Luke Gottwald and … and … ugh, I don’t even want to say it … co-written by Dr. Luke and … Ke$ha :( Getting back to the good news, the single artwork looks great … you can check it out below.


Wow! This is another great promo photo of Britney. It’s very similar to the promo billboard that we got to see yesterday. I’m gonna do my best and reserve judgment of the song Till The World Ends until I hear it for myself. I’m very worried that Ke$ha is involved with the song but … I’m gonna keep an open mind … an open mind. Ke$ha spoke to Spin magazine about writing the song and she had this to say about it:

Once the tour wraps, Ke$ha says she’ll begin working on material for her next record. She’s also been working on co-writing a new Britney Spears track titled “Till the World Ends” with executive producers Dr. Luke and Max Martin, which is set to appear on Spears’ next record Femme Fatale. “That song is me imagining her and any female musician touring the world,” she says. “You know, when you got out, and you’re having an amazing, magical night and you don’t want to go to sleep and you want it to last until the world ends.”

Keeping an open mind … keeping an open mind. Yes, this news is worrisome but … well, we’ll just have to wait and hear what the song sounds like. Are you as worried as I am about this track? Also, what do you think of this single artwork?

Today the Royal Family launched an official website expressly for the upcoming Royal Wedding of Prince William to his fiancée Kate Middleton. Thus far, there ain’t much going on on the site that we don’t already know … but I suspect we will be getting daily updates on wedding news as the days and weeks continue. Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi Does ‘Rolling Stone’ Magazine

For some strange and totally incomprehensible reason, Rolling Stone magazine — which is dedicated to music first and investigative journalism second — decided to put Nicole Snooki Polizzi of MTV‘s Jersey Shore on the cover of their new issue. I suppose the argument could be made that Snooki is “hot” right now in terms of pop culture but I, personally, fail to see the rationale of choosing her in particular for the cover when, IMHO, there are many other more worth music artists who would be much better suited for Rolling Stone magazine.

In the new issue of Rolling Stone, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi opens up about her transformation from an upstate New York party girl/budding veterinary assistant into a reality TV superstar with a best-selling book, a $20,000 personal appearance fee, a line of jewelry and a spin-off TV show in the works. Highlights from the article include:

On watching herself on Jersey Shore: “If I do something stupid, which is pretty much the whole time, I hate it. I just hate it. Obviously, they’re only going to put the good stuff in, and the good stuff is us drunk, so all I’m seeing is me drunk and falling down. That’s how I am when I party, but some of the stuff I do is, like, ‘Really, Nicole?’ I look like a freakin’ alcoholic. I’m like, ‘You’re sweating, your makeup is running, you look gross.’ I just look like shit."

On plans for her future: “What I’d like is to turn out like Jessica Simpson, with her whole brand. She makes millions…I’m trying to build an empire, because after this I can’t get a normal job. I mean, how do I go and sit behind a desk?”

On being filmed 24/7: “We can’t have cellphones, TV, radio or the Internet. If the president died, we’d have no idea. There’s no normalcy. It’s just like a prison, with cameras.”

On smushing during the show: “The guys you see me bring home, we’re only cuddling and making out like any other person would do, but we’re on camera and the whole world’s seeing it, and it does look like I’m having sex.”

I generally like Rolling Stone … moreso recently because of the great stories they’ve done. I can honestly say that I have no interest whatsoever in reading about Snooki‘s plans for the future. I just cannot take her seriously. She is a joke, we all laugh at her … what more is there to know? What kind of pickles she likes? I’ll pass, thanks. Apple Officially Unveils The iPad 2

Last November we first started hearing the rumblings of the second generation iPad and then came talk that the device would be available for Verizon and AT&T. Today we learn that, yes, the iPad 2 will be available on both carriers … along with the news that it will be thinner, lighter and faster than the first gen iPad. iPad 2 also comes with 2 cameras (front and back-facing) and a nifty magnetized cover. All in all, it sounds like a pretty sweet upgrade.

A year after revitalizing the once-sleepy, now red-hot tablet market with the original iPad, Apple surprised absolutely no one Wednesday by taking the wrapper off a slimmer, trimmer version of the wildly popular slate, complete with a front-facing camera for video chat (finally!) and a souped-up processor. The new iPad 2 took the spotlight during a press event at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, with none other than Apple CEO Steve Jobs—who is still on medical leave, mind you (“he looks good,” Engadget noted on its live blog)—taking the stage to unveil the much-anticipated follow-up to the best-selling original. The “dramatically faster” iPad 2 boasts a dual-core A5 “system on a chip” processor under the hood, said Jobs, good for twice the CPU power and nine times the graphics performance of the original while maintaining the same 10-hour battery life. Also new: dual cameras (at last), including a front-facing camera for VGA-quality video chat, while the rear camera will be good for 720p video capture. (Apple hasn’t listed specific megapixel counts for the iPad 2′s cameras yet.) As predicted, the 9.7-inch display on the iPad 2 has the same resolution as that on the original: 1,024 by 768, to be exact, disappointing news for anyone hoping that the new iPad would boast an improved “retina”-style display. Measuring 9.5 by 7.3 by 0.34 inches, the iPad 2 is slightly shorter and narrower than the original (according to Apple’s specs, at least), with the listed weight of 1.33 pounds (or 1.35 for the 3G-enabled iPad 2) a bit lighter than the iPad 1. As with the first iPad, the iPad 2 comes with Apple’s proprietary 30-pin dock connector for syncing and charging, along with a 3.5mm headset jack. Missing in action, however, is a slot for SD (or microSD) memory cards. A white version of the iPad will be available on “Day One,” promised Jobs, with Apple probably hoping to avoid last year’s debacle of the white iPhone that never quite arrived. The iPad 2 retains the same price points as the original: $499 for the 16GB version, $599 for the 32GB model, and $699 for the 64GB model. The 3G-enabled versions will also come with the same $130 premium over the Wi-Fi-only models (think $629 for the 3G-ready 16GB iPad 2, $729 for 32GB, and $829 for the 64GB version), and they’ll be available for both AT&T and Verizon Wireless. The ship date? March 11 in the U.S., and March 25 in 26 additional countries. Jobs also announced a new “Smart Cover” to go along with the iPad 2—one with magnetic clasps that either wakes up the iPad or puts it to sleep depending on whether it’s being attached or removed. The polyurethane version of the case will sell for $39, while a pricier leather one goes for $69 … March 11 will also see the release of iOS version 4.3, with new features such as personal hotspot support for the iPhone 4 (nice), a speedier version of Safari, improvements to AirPlay media streaming, and FaceTime video chat. Not bad, but the iOS 4.3 release on the 11th will only be for iPads, third- and fourth-generation iPod Touches, and the GSM version of the iPhone—meaning that owners of the iPhone for Verizon (which runs a CDMA network) will have to wait.

Oh yeah, all of this sounds very nice. As expected, Apple gave us some great updates (two cameras) … while NOT giving us others (like expandable memory/SD card slots). I am really excited that the iPad 2 will be available on Verizon … I think that is the one I am going to get. I held off on the first gen iPad because it wasn’t “a computer” enough for me. Now, I think I’m ready for a device like this, especially with all of the added upgrades. I’m sure there will be long lines come March 11 … I won’t be back in the US just yet so … I think I’ll wait a few weeks. Are any of y’all planning on getting this new toy? Will you be scrambling to get one on launch day?

Wet & Wild & The Wall

Yesterday was a fun-filled day of so much awesomeness … I can’t even tell you. The Kylie Minogue concert was just amazing … but after the show, David and I hung out for a bit with our new Berlin friends Mark and Emi for a bit to finish out the night. Earlier today, David and I visited what’s left of the Berlin Wall and then spent a leisurely afternoon walking around town. It was not a bad Wednesday, let me tell you.


After David and I collected our Splash Zone bags full of goodies (and two Groß size beers that put the Starbucks Trenta to shame), we were presented with a document that we needed to sign that would indemnify the O2 World arena in case we got wet in the Splash Zone. The doc was in German. Then there was signage all over the place with warnings. Hello! The reason people go into the Splash Zone is to get splashed by Kylie Minogue:


After the show, we went for beers at some bar I couldn’t pronounce that that was our night:


Today, we visited the Berlin Wall … or the East Side Gallery, as it is now known. It was pretty amazing walking along the entire legnth of the wall seeing all the amazing graffiti art that has been painted on it’s side. We stopped for a few photos:

Our Berlin adventure continues … we still have more than a week to go and we are having the time of our lives! Woot!!

Kylie Minogue Brings Her ‘Les Folies Tour 2011′ To Berlin, Germany

So … where to begin? Last night David and I got to see Kylie Minogue LIVE in concert on her Les Folies Tour 2011 on her stop here in Berlin, Germany and I can safely say — without question — it was among THE most spectacular shows I’ve ever seen … be it concert, musical, what have you. Kylie‘s Les Folies show is a stunning spectacle for the senses … and one that we were lucky to savor from very close-up in the VIP section called the Splash Zone. I took far too many photos and some video of last night’s fun. If you are curious about the show and don’t mind being spoiled, read on to share in some of our fun last night.


The Splash Zone was surprisingly uncrowded … so we were allowed to run all over the place to be close to Kylie no matter where on the stage she ventured. Of her tours, this is by far the most inventive, the most cohesive and the most spectacular of all. Kylie always outdoes herself with new tours but I have a hard time believing she will ever be able to top this show.

From the staging, to the costumes, to the dancing and of course to the singing, the entire show was just WOW after WOW all night long. David managed to film a couple of clips for sharing … first is of Kylie riding her angel from the center stage, over the Splash Zone and onto the center stage — as she performed Looking For An Angel:

As incredible as these videos look, the show looked so much more impressive in person. I was just … blown away!!! Seeing this concert on David’s and my 5 year anniversary trip was just such a treat … I will never forget it:


With our Splash Zone tickets, we got some fun goodies to take home … a towel, a poncho, a tour book and an actual autographed photo! Kylie really went out of her way to make the Splash Zone experience truly special. I can’t recommend seeing this show enough, especially from the Splash Zone. This show is a veritable feast for the eyes … hands down, one of the most amazing concerts I’ve ever had the pleasure to see. Clearly Berlin LOVED having Kylie in town … because she left with a special Aphrodite-ized Berlin Bear as a gift:


I’ll be seeing Kylie next back home in the US in LA and Las Vegas … the show will be scaled down but I am really looking forward to seeing her again in just a few short weeks ;D

More Photos Of Robert Pattinson In ‘Vanity Fair’ Magazine Have Surfaced

Yesterday we got our first look at Robert Pattinson, wearing an alligator around his neck, on the cover of the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine. Today we get to see a few alligator-less photos from inside the mag, as well as excerpts from his coverstory interview. Did you know that dating Kristen Stewart has been a “traumatic” experience for Rob? ‘Tis true … read on for more gems from Mr. R. Pattz.

Pattinson tells the April issue of Vanity Fair that the attention surrounding his real-life romance with his onscreen love interest has put a strain on their relationship. “It’s just very traumatic,” the 24-year-old Brit complains. “When this is over, the media will lose interest. There’ll be nothing to say. It won’t fit into a headline anymore. It won’t fit into a template.” Even before their secretive romance began, Pattinson admits he was a fan of Stewart’s body of work. “Kristen is very focused on being an actress. I mean, that’s what she is — she’s an actress. Whereas I…I just don’t really know,” the actor admits of his 20-year-old flame. “She’s cool. Even before I knew her I thought she was a really good actress. Like, I saw Into the Wild, and I thought she was really good in that,” he raves. “I still think there are very few girls in her class that are as good as she is.” His private life aside, Pattinson also admits to having an unlikely fondness for Charlie Sheen. “I like crazy people who don’t give a fuck,” he explains, adding that he’s a fan of the 45-year-old actor’s “little escapades. I never change the channel in my trailer. I just watch reruns of House of Payne and Two and a Half Men. I love Cops — I think it’s my favorite TV show,” he laughs. “God, I sound like such a loser … There’s nothing you can do about it. That’s the way it is,” Pattinson explains of the mega-fame Twilight thrust upon him. “But it is weird being part of that, kind of representing something you don’t particularly like. God, I just really head-butted it.” This thing with everyone knowing you, it’s weird, because people have this one-sided relationship where they look at your picture and feel they know you more than someone they actually know,” the actor continues. “I don’t really know myself that well.”

Um … yes, he’s a regular guy, dating is traumatic, blah blah blah … but HELLO, did he just confirm for the first time that he and Kristen Stewart are dating? HMMM. I don’t usually go for these kinds of interviews but this one deffo has me wanting more. While Rob isn’t really my cup of tea, I can see how he can make the girls swoon.

Watch: Lindsay Lohan’s Interview With ‘Extra!’ TV, Part 1

Extra! TV aired part 1 of their interview with Lindsay Lohan last night and, in comparison with all the crazy shizz going on with Charlie Sheen, it was by pretty much all accounts a very lackluster chat. While Lindsay gave good answers to the questions posed to her, you can see in the video that she had a very hard time looking directly at the interviewer as she spoke. She kept looking everywhere but into the eyes of the Extra! reporter which, to me, makes it seem like she wasn’t being totally honest.

In her first interview since leaving rehab, actress Lindsay Lohan breaks her silence and tells “Extra’s” Jerry Penacoli about her days in treatment, her fears for the future — and offers a look inside her new life. Lohan invited “Extra” inside her new home in Los Angeles for a deeply personal and revealing conversation.

Penacoli asked Lohan how she was feeling. “I feel great. I feel happy,” the actress smiled. “There’s always things, you know, bumps we have in the road and as long as I am focusing on the one thing I need to put first in my life, which is my recovery and stuff, and I’m doing good and that’s most important for me.”

Lindsay continued, saying the one thing she has missed most is working. “I miss being on set. I really do miss it. I know there’s going to be a lot of steps I’ll have to go through to prove myself again and get the trust from people I respect to work with, but I’m willing to do what I have to do to get there because that’s my passion.”

What does she want to do when she’s ready to return to work? “Great films, tell great stories. That’s what I aspired to do my whole life, and personal instances in my life have gotten in the way. But I don’t want that to be what I am known for, the tabloid stuff, that’s not me. I don’t like the attention. I don’t want my attention to come through my films and the work I am doing, not from going to the hair salon.”

Lindsay admitted that to achieve her goal, she is going to have to take it “one day at a time.”

One day at a time, indeed. But, again, as I said … for having invited Extra! into her home for the interview, she didn’t seem too comfortable answering the questions asked of her. Watch her eyes as she gives her interview answers in part 1 of her chat below:


HMMMM. I’m not saying that she is lying or being untruthful, I’m just saying that her shifty eyes and her refusal to look the interviewer in the eyes makes her comments seem … suspect. But, again, compared to all the Sheen stuff going on … does anyone even care about Lindsay‘s problems anymore? I’m not sure if she’s truly happy that Charlie Sheen is eating up all of the attention but for a girl who claims that she doesn’t “like the attention” she should be happy to be out of the spotlight for a minute. When Trent Reznor Met Christian Bale

Awards shows tend to make for strange bedfellows … celebs that you’d never imagine hanging out together get thrown into the same room and are, well, kinda forced to hang out together. At the 83rd annual Academy Awards last weekend, Oscar winners Trent Reznor (Best Original Score) and Christian Bale (Best Supporting Actor) were spotted chatting together in a backstage, VIP area. I’m not sure what the full context of the photo is but the accompanying commentary on the Tumblr from whence this photo comes is all kinds of awesome.

Are Sean Penn & Scarlett Johansson Coupling Up?

Rumors have been going around since January that Scarlett Johansson (26) and Sean Penn (50) have been getting closer and closer … and possibly closer than just friends. Until now, there has been no photographic proof that the two actors might be into one another … but TMZ managed to snag a photo of the pair lunching together in LA this week and as you can tell (by Scarlett‘s foot resting in Sean‘s lap) that the couple are, at the very least, very friendly.

With her foot in his lap during lunch, Scarlett Johansson, 26, got friendly with Sean Penn, 50, at Cuban restaurant Versailles in L.A. on Monday. We’re told the two were seen smiling and laughing together during the meal — and one source inside the restaurant tells us Scarlett covered the bill. Rumors of their “fling” have been swirling since January. FYI — Scarlett and Ryan Reynolds filed for divorce in December, while Sean finalized his divorce from Robin Wright Penn last July.

Now we cannot be sure — at all — that anything romantic is going on betwixt these two … but if you take the rumors and add them to this very cozy photo, well, it’s really starting to look like these two have gotten real close since they both split from their spouses. Will this turn into anything substantial? Time will tell … but I could see how these two might end up finding lurve together. Something about their pairing makes sense to me. What do y’all think?

Christina Aguilera’s Mug Shot Has Been Released Leaked

Yesterday we learned the shocking news that pop star turned veritable trainwreck Christina Aguilera was arrested for public intoxication while her boyfriend Matthew Rutler was arrested for drunk driving. Altho Xtina was arrested, booked and process, her mug shot was not going to be released because the West Hollywood police have decided not to prosecute her. Somehow, tho, as these things tend to do … her mug shot was leaked online by E! News. Xtina looks sad and wrecked in her mug shot, y’all. Check it out below.

Does Christina Aguilera look publicly intoxicated to you? The spiraling pop diva was arrested on suspicion of that very charge early this morning, and here is the photographic evidence of the bust, exclusively obtained by E! News. L.A. Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said that Aguilera’s picture is not going to be released to the public because authorities do not plan to press charges…but sometimes a camera is just in the right place at the right time. While this certainly won’t go down in the annals of scary mug-shot history, it’s definitely not one of Aguilera’s better looks. In her defense, Whitmore said earlier today that the “Beautiful” singer was “cooperative” and “not belligerent in any way whatsoever” when she was taken into custody along with boyfriend Matthew Rutler.

See, here’s the thing about getting arrested for public intoxication … you have to be so wasted that police officers believe that you cannot take care of yourself. Altho Xtina was in the passenger’s seat, she was apparently so intoxicated that police didn’t believe she would be able to make her way home … and that is why she was arrested. Despite the fact that Xtina will evade prosecution for her arrest, the same cannot be said for her boyfriend Matt Rutler. He will be prosecuted and, therefore, his mug shot has been released to the press:

TMZ has obtained Christina Aguilera’s boyfriend’s mug shot — taken moments after he was arrested for DUI … As we first reported, Matt Rutler was arrested for DUI around 2:45 AM in West Hollywood. Law enforcement tells us Matt blew a .09 on a breathalyzer … just over the legal limit which is .08. Shortly after Matt got out of jail his ride was also liberated — he was spotted picking up his Mustang from the impound yard … which we’re told set him back $192.

According to witnesses, Xtina and Matt were bizzy drinking “bottles of wine” at Osteria Mozza in LA just hours before their joint arrests. It remains to be seen if these arrests will serve as a wake-up call to Xtina but I sincerely hope she gets her life back on track and she curbs this reckless behavior sooner rather than later. Her young son Max Liron is getting old enough to pay attention to what is going on. I don’t think any young kid wants to hear about his mom getting arrested for being drunk :(

First Listen: Dr. Luke Releases A Short Snippet Of A New Britney Spears Song Titled ‘Seal It With A Kiss’

Earlier this week will.i.am released a clip of a new song he wrote/produced for Britney Spears titled Big Fat Bass after Lukasz Dr. Luke Gottwald had released 3 clips of other songs from Britney‘s new album Femme Fatale. Previously we heard clips from the songs Inside Out, I Wanna Go and How I Roll. Today, Dr. Luke graces us with a 4th song snippet. Today’s clip is from a song titled Seal It With a Kiss … and it can be heard below.


This clip was released without comment … it just showed up in Luke‘s Twitter feed. According to the tags listed for the song on Soundcloud, I believe this song was produced by Femme Fatale co-executive producer Max Martin (who also produced the song I Wanna Go). It deffo has that Max Martin sound toward the end of the clip … and altho it’s hard to judge a song from just a few seconds of music, I think I am liking this track. In sum, I am loving the sound of Britney’s new album based solely on the clips we’ve heard thus far. We are just weeks away from the release of Britney’s new album … and I’m hearing her second single (whatever it may be) may be released sometime this week!!!
