Listen: Britney Spears, ‘Till The World Ends’

Posted: 04 Mar 2011 12:00 AM PST

Yesterday we got to hear a clip of Britney Spears‘s new single Till the World Ends and right now we get to hear the track in FULL! While I had some doubts based solely on the first preview clip we heard yesterday (doubts that were heightened by the fact that the song was written by Ke$ha), I’m very happy to report that the song sounds fantastic in its entirety. Because the song leaked early (it wasn’t due to drop until March 14), Jive Records decided to push up the single’s release date and release a press release announcing the tracklist for Femme Fatale. Read on to listen to Till the World Ends and see what other songs will be included on Britney‘s new album.

Till the World Ends:

Yes! The song is really hot. The Oh Oh Ooohs really make the song feel like a dancey pop anthem. This song is going to be a massive club banger, no doubt. I love it!! I don’t know that I like it better than Hold It Against Me … I think I like them both equally, in that, they are both fantastic pop songs. What do y’all think? Do you love it? Because of the early leak of the song, Till the World Ends has been made available on iTunes right now. You can download a copy of the track HERE.

Now, let’s get to the rest of the Femme Fatale album. Here is the full text of the press release issued by Jive Records which gives the full tracklist of Britney‘s new album, due out on March 29:

Britney Spears' next single from her highly anticipated seventh studio album, Femme Fatale is the upbeat, "Till The World Ends" (ßclick to listen). Produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin, it's the follow-up to the million plus-selling infectious first single, "Hold It Against Me," which debuted in the No. 1 position on both the Hot 100 Singles and the Hot Digital Songs charts. "Hold It Against Me" (ßclick to view) ranked No. 1 on digital singles charts in 20 markets worldwide, and the video clip is currently the #1 video on MTV and VH-1 in the U.S. In her current V Magazine cover story, Spears says, "I think 'Femme Fatale' speaks for itself… I wanted to make a fierce dance record where each song makes you want to get up and move…" Femme Fatale is in stores and available at digital retailers on March 29th. Acknowledging today's leak of her newest song, Britney just announced via twitter that she will formally premiere "Till The World Ends" on Ryan Seacrest's show tomorrow morning, Friday, March 4th in the 7AM PST/10AM EST hour. Spears is confirmed to do a very special performance on Good Morning America from San Francisco, airing March 29th.

"Femme Fatale" Track Listing:

1. Till The World Ends (Produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Billboard)
2. Hold It Against Me (Produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Co-produced by Billboard)
3. Inside Out (Produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Billboard)
4. I Wanna Go (Produced by Max Martin and Shellback)
5. How I Roll (Produced by Bloodshy, Henrik Jonback and Magnus)
6. (Drop Dead) Beautiful featuring Sabi (Produced by Benny Blanco, Ammo, JMIKE and Billboard)
7. Seal It With A Kiss (Produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Dream Machine)
8. Big Fat Bass featuring will.i.am (Produced by will.i.am)
9. Trouble For Me (Produced by Fraser T Smith)
10. Trip To Your Heart (Produced by Bloodshy, Henrik Jonback and Magnus)
11. Gasoline (Produced by Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco)
12. Criminal (Produced by Max Martin and Shellback)

The Deluxe version of "Femme Fatale" will include four additional tracks:

13. Up N' Down (Produced by Max Martin, Shellback and Oligee)
14. He About To Lose Me (Produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins)
15. Selfish (Produced by Stargate, and Sandy Vee)
16. Don’t Keep Me Waiting (Produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins)

Gahhhh!! I cannot wait to hear these songs in full. As Britney herself sings in this new song, I can’t take no take no more … of the waiting! The release of Till the World Ends is a nice snack to tide us over until the album’s release in a few weeks but … I don’t know that I can truly stand the wait any longer!! You will note that in her V magazine interview, Britney said that her favorite song from the Femme Fatale era is a song called On the Rocks. On the Rocks is NOT listed on the tracklist. Will it be a bonus bonus? Will it be a b-side? Will it never be heard? I’m sure there are a lot of songs that Britney recorded for this album … so not only am I hungry for the songs listed here but I also want all the other songs as well. Gahhhhh!! What do y’all think of Till the World Ends? Do you love it? Does seeing the Femme Fatale tracklist make you even more anxious to hear the album … or are you, like me, just ready to BURST already?

Channing Tatum Wants To Be Peter Pan

Posted: 03 Mar 2011 03:30 PM PST

There apparently is a new trend in Hollywood where classic fairy tale stories are being retold in live action, semi-serious films. Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are just two of the classic stories that have been or are being made into live action films. It turns out that Peter Pan is another story that is reportedly being turned into a live action film … and rumor has it that Channing Tatum wants the lead. That’s right … beefy, thick Channing wants to play the boy who never grows up.

eter Pan Returns! And he’s totally jacked, you guys. We’ve remarked before on the pilfered fairytales Hollywood’s been shamelessly rebooting (Alice In Wonderland! Red Riding Hood! Not one, but two versions of Snow White!) but this one kinda takes the cake. Alice producer Joe Roth and actor Channing Tatum are, as we speak, out pitching Peter Pan Returns. No, really. The fact that Alice was a steaming, nonsensical pile of shit hasn’t perturbed anyone. We can only imagine where he’s returning; from Neverland to the real world, perhaps, as the now-grown Tatum? With Justin Bieber as the younger Pan in flashbacks? And everyone dances?

Erm … I’m not sure what to think about this. Of all the actors who could play Peter Pan, I wouldn’t immediately imagine Channing Tatum as one of those actors. When the show is staged live in theaters, they usually get a skinny woman to play the role. I’m not sure what kind of Peter Pan Channing is hoping to portray — that is, if this rumor turns out to be true — but if he’s running around in green tights with those little green booties and the feathered hat, well, I’d pay to see it … just because. What do y’all think? Do YOU think Channing Tatum would make a good Peter Pan?

Vanessa Hudgens Shows Off Her Neck Tattoo On ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’

Posted: 03 Mar 2011 02:34 PM PST

The newly tattooed Vanessa Hudgens paid a visit to The Late Show with David Letterman to promote her new film Beastly. The less said about that atrocious movie, the better … so let’s move on. Vanessa was very excited to show off her new tattoo — a butterfly inked to the back of her neck — so, apparently, she chose to show it off on national television first for David Letterman.

[I]t seems Vanessa Hudgens is determined to leave her Disney past behind her, and reinvent herself as a ‘badass’. The 22-year-old actress started her reinvention with a butterfly tattoo on her neck, and last night revealed the inspiration behind the inking during an interview on the Late Show with David Letterman. She said: ‘It was very last minute, but I’ve actually wanted it for years. A butterfly landed on my mum’s stomach a week before I was born and that’s how I got my name, because Vanessa means butterfly – it’s a Latin derivative. ‘It’s my very first tattoo, and I kind of feel like a badass now!’

As I said before, I like the tattoo much more that it is colored in. Yes, it’s big but she seems to really love it so … good for her! I’m not the biggest Vanessa Hudgens fan but I think she is growing on me. Beastly looks wretched so I don’t think I can support her on that front … but as for the tattoo, yeah, I’m on board!

‘Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace’ Will Be Released In 3D In 2012

Posted: 03 Mar 2011 01:46 PM PST

Previously we learned that all of the Stars Wars films will be re-released in theaters in 3D … despite the fact that none of the films were filmed in 3D. Today we learn that the the first Star Wars film (chronologically), The Phantom Menace, will be released in 3D in February of 2012. Like it or not, the entire Star Wars saga is coming our way … again … this time, in 3D.

A long time ago (last September), Lucasfilm announced plans to begin re-releasing the Star Wars movies in 3-D, starting with The Phantom Menace. Today, 20th Century Fox announced that the movie will be released on Feb. 10, 2012. To paraphrase Darth Vader – will this be a day long remembered? None of the Star Wars movies were shot in 3-D, so they are undergoing a conversion overseen by Industrial Light & Magic and digital pioneer, John Knoll, who is also the co-creator of PhotoShop. During the original announcement, Lucasfilm spokeswoman Lynne Hale said they were holding back on selecting a specific date because they wanted to provide enough time to do the 3-D reprocessing properly and not rush to meet an artificial deadline. Though the prequels were shot more recently than the original Star Wars trilogy, they include many more complicated visual effects, which makes converting them much trickier, Knoll told USA Today in September. "There are thousands and thousands of flying images," he says. "But the nice thing about stereo (visuals) is you get this wonderful immersive effect if it's done right." Knoll said George Lucas wasn't planning on changing anything else about the films, as he did in the '90s when the original trilogy was re-released in theaters with upgraded special effects and a controversial Greedo-shoots-first story alteration.

Meh. I’m not crazy about films being converted to 3D but if anyone can do a good job with the technology, it’s Lucas Arts. I am such a big fan of the Star Wars films that this sort of thing is like gravy for me. Having the films converted to 3D won’t take away from the years of enjoyment I’ve had with the films … so I, for one, am looking forward to this new version of the films. I know some people will piss and moan about the 3Dness but those people would be the ones to complain about anything. This is great news to me … I can’t wait to see the films on the big screen all over again. Are YOU looking forward to the 3D versions of the Star Wars films?

Charlie Sheen Sets A Guinness World Record On Twitter

Posted: 03 Mar 2011 12:35 PM PST

Yesterday we learned that Charlie Sheen, trainwreck du jour, joined Twitter. Today we learn that Charlie has set a new Guinness World Record for his ability to amass 1 million followers in 24 hours. People love their crazy and no one is doling it out quite like Charlie Sheen is these days.

Charlie Sheen may or may not be “winning,” in life, but he has won a rare honor: the “Fastest Time to Reach 1 Million Followers” Guinness World Record. Guinness community manager Dan Barrett says the agency “just researched and approved” the record this morning. According to Barrett, Sheen reached that milestone in 25 hours and 17 minutes. As of this writing, Sheen’s Twitter account, @CharlieSheen, has close to 1.2 million followers. Guinness did not have a previous record for that category, Barrett says. Sheen also set a Guinness record for “Highest Paid TV Actor Per Episode — Current” at $1.25 million. Sheen joined Twitter March 1. In a matter of minutes, Sheen acquired more than 60,000 followers and a Klout score of 57 — without even tweeting. According to a report in Advertising Age, Sheen was able to get his account verified so quickly because Internet startup Ad.ly brokered his account with Twitter. Sheen, of course, has been all over the news since he publicly disparaged Chuck Lorre, producer of Sheen’s successful sitcom Two and a Half Men in a bizarre interview with Alex Jones of InfoWars last month. Since then, Sheen has been interviewed by various other high-profile outlets making equally odd statements. The public meltdown has made Sheen a continual trending topic on Twitter and the subject of several YouTube parodies.

I mean … duh. I’m pretty sure people started following Charlie Sheen on Twitter as soon as they learned he joined the service. My guess is that the only reason he doesn’t have more Twitter followers right now is because there are some people left in the world who haven’t heard the news. There is no question, Charlie Sheen has been making the most of his crazy behavior lately. The man has decided to go all out, balls to the wall. I guess the chance that he might drop some seriously insane knowledge on Twitter at any moment has people clamoring to follow him on Twitter. Are YOU among Charlie‘s million (and growing) followers?

Annie Leibovitz Teams Up With Disney To Turn Celebs Into Fairy Tale Characters

Posted: 03 Mar 2011 11:40 AM PST

Back in 2009 we got to see a new photo of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens all dolled up as Disney fairy tale characters Prince Phillip and Princess Aurora from Disney‘s Sleeping Beauty. Today we get to see new photos, shot by Annie Leibovitz, of more celebs dressed up as Disney characters. Queen Latifah portrays Ursula the Sea Witch, Olivia Wilde as The Evil Queen (with Alec Baldwin as the Magic Mirror) and Penélope Cruz & Jeff Bridges as Belle and the Beast.

Today, we are unveiling some spectacular new images by acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz, who continues to lend her vision to the successful Disney Dream Portrait series we began just more than four years ago. Each portrait features well-known celebrities transformed into the role of famous Disney characters. The three latest Disney Dream Portraits are the first new images in the series since 2009, and for the first time we've included a couple of the most wicked Disney villains ever! … As the Evil Queen, Olivia Wilde joins Alec Baldwin as the spirit of the magic mirror from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." In the dark depths of her lair, the Queen has summoned the mirror's spirit through wind and darkness to reveal the identity of a lovelier maid than she. The caption reads, "Where magic speaks, even when you're not the fairest of them all." Penelope Cruz and Jeff Bridges appear as Belle and the transformed prince, recalling the final scene from "Beauty and the Beast." The celebratory moment is captioned, "Where a moment of beauty lasts forever." Finally, coming ashore as Ursula from "The Little Mermaid" is none other than Queen Latifah. The caption reads, "Where memories take hold and never let go."

You may recall that previously, before the 2009 photos of Zanessa, we saw photos of David Beckham, Scarlett Johansson, Beyonce, Jessical Biel, Michael Phelps and more as Disney characters … so these new photos are a great addition to the bunch. Here are a few behind the scenes photos from the Leibovitz shoot:

To be honest, I’m not sure how Queen Latifah got talked into being Ursula the Sea Witch … but she does look good … as a sea witch. My fave of this new batch is Olivia Wilde as the Evil Queen. She just has the look down pat. I’m glad Disney is continuing to put out these fun photos. I hope we get to see more and soon!

Britney Spears Does ‘V’ Magazine

Posted: 03 Mar 2011 10:40 AM PST

On Monday we got a sneak peek at Britney Spears on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of V magazine. Today we not only get to see her full V mag photospread in full but we also get to read the text of her interview with the magazine. The photos are beautiful and the interview is, well, an interview — actual album promo! Check it all out below.

Britney Spears, the sweetest girl who ever emerged from McComb, Mississippi, is once again on a mission to make us dance. This spring, the greatest pop star of our generation returns with Femme Fatale, a suite of hits destined for good times, late nights, and heavy clubland rotation. Filled with brazen, sexual lyrics against an aggressive, Euro-style beat, the album's first single, "Hold It Against Me," shot to number one in nineteen countries within hours of its release in January. The fans, it seems, have been waiting. At age 29, Spears has achieved a level of fame and notoriety that might make continued success an easy prospect. Yet she remains anything but asleep at the wheel. Fatale finds Spears in control of her image and her sound, building on a decade-strong brand of feel-good pop. If we love Spears (and we undoubtedly do), it's because she's a constant reminder of the fun and freedom we've enjoyed, and a harbinger of sunny days ahead. She is good times preserved in amber. We don't ever want her to change. She's perfect just the way she is.

V As a child, what did you imagine fame would be like?
BRITNEY SPEARS I don't think I thought about "fame" when I was a child. I knew I wanted to perform and I knew I wanted to be on stage but I don't think I ever thought about fame or what comes with being famous.
V Do you think you were destined to become a star?
BS If not, then God definitely has a strange sense of humor.
V Do you follow astrology?
BS A little. I like to believe there is a little magic in the world, but I also believe we choose our own path.
V When did you first realize you were famous?
BS Am I famous?
V Define a femme fatale.
BS A woman who is sexy and strong, dangerous and mysterious, cool and confident.
V If your Circus album represented a comeback, what does Femme Fatale represent?
BS I think Femme Fatale speaks for itself. I worked really hard on it and spent almost two years recording it. I think it's the best album I have ever made. There's nothing to say. I'll let the music speak for me.
V What direction are you taking with the sound?
BS I wanted to make a fierce dance record where each song makes you want to get up and move your body in a different way. That's what I want from the music I listen to. This record is for the clubs, or something you play before you go out at night. It's definitely my edgiest and most mature sound yet.
V Would you consider this new album a revolution or an evolution?
BS It's a little of both. There are songs on this album that don't sound like anything else and are completely revolutionary, but I also believe that this album expresses where I am today as a woman and is an evolution of who I am.
V What is your favorite song on the album and why?
BS I really love "On the Rocks" because it sounds so different from anything I have ever heard. It's so cool and quirky.
V These days it seems everyone collaborates with everyone else, yet you have always been very selective. Would you collaborate again? Who would you like to collaborate with next?
BS You'll just have to wait and see…
V You have your finger on the pulse. How do you discover new artists, collaborators, and genres of music?
BS I like music that makes you move and connects with your soul. I like to feel inspired right away when I listen to new music. I always have songs being sent to me from new artists and producers from all over the world, which is really cool. From there I just follow my heart.
V What have you been listening to on your iPod lately?
BS I love the Black Eyed Peas. They always put me in a good mood. I listen to them a lot. I love Christina [Aguilera]'s "Woo Hoo," and "Paper Planes" by M.I.A. I CANNOT stop listening to "We No Speak Americano" by Yolanda Be Cool & DCup.
V Everybody knows you as Britney the pop star. What are some of your talents and interests that might surprise people?
BS I love to cook, especially for my boys. I also make a mean southern sweet tea from a recipe my mom passed on to me. It's really good. I love it. I make it for my boys all the time.
V Despite the ups and downs in your past, you've always come out on top. What is the secret to your success?
BS I have learned to always stay true to myself and never let what other people say about me change who I am. It's a really important lesson that took me a long time to learn.
V What makes you happy?
BS My boys.
V What makes you sad?
BS When people are cruel to each other.
V Your every move is reported in the media. What are your tricks to staying balanced and not letting it get to you?
BS I'm past all of that. I try to block it all out and not pay attention to anything they write about me in the magazines or online. I'm done with that.
V In the past you allowed your fans a great deal of access into your world, much more so than now. Do you feel you've become guarded?
BS A little bit. I think it's easier to let people in when you're younger, but when I became a mother I wanted more privacy for myself and my children. A life away from my life.
V What motivates you to keep doing what you do?
BS I love making new music for my fans, I love performing for my fans, and most importantly, I love my fans. I am so lucky to have their support. They drive me.
V If you walked away from it all tomorrow, what would you do instead? What would you miss the most? The least?
BS I'd be a full-time mom which would be cool. I'd miss my fans and all of the love the most, but I definitely would not miss having my picture taken everywhere I go. I wouldn't miss showering in arenas either. So gross!
V What would you like people to know about you today?
BS That the bitch is back and better than ever! [Laughs]
V Where do you see yourself in ten years?
BS Right here!
V What do you feel will be your legacy?
BS Two amazing boys and a lot of music that hopefully brings a lot of people a lot of happiness.

Now this is a great interview. I love all of the answers she gave. She deffo sounds like a much more mature Britney Spears than we’ve come to know over the years. The woman has been thru a lot and she is still on top, still the reigning queen … even tho she really doesn’t need to be anymore. It’s clear she has all the love in the world for her boys … that she still chooses to make music for us is just a gift … one that keeps on giving, I hope. I am so anxious to hear her new album and hopefully see her live in concert. I’m hoping we get more interviews, too. Check out the photos below and marvel at them … they are so beautiful, don’t you think?

Das Jüdisches Museum

Posted: 03 Mar 2011 09:05 AM PST

Bright and early this morning, David and I made our way to Das Jüdisches MuseumThe Jewish Museum — here in Berlin to spend a few hours taking in as much as we could. I was completely floored by how amazing the museum is in terms of exhibits and architecture alike. The museum is set up in a zig-zag pattern, giving it a very modern look and feel. It is one of the more impressive museums that I have had the fortune to visit.

The museum covers all of Jewish history, obviously leading up to and beyond the tragedy of the German Holocaust. Altho there is much sadness on display, there is far much more impressive art and artifacts from all points in Jewish history. I loved the fun yarmulkes on display in the children’s section of the museum. The men wear yarmulkes at the Seder dinner on Passover at David’s house and I’ve always wanted to wear a Batman yarmulke … but the Friends yarmulke featured above is pretty sweet, too. Incidentally, I purchased a yarmulke of my own at the museum with a big blue Star of David on it so I can wear it at Passover this Spring when we visit David’s parents. In year’s past, I’ve always worn David’s sisters old Bat Mitzvah yarmulkes … now I have one of my own. Visiting the Jewish Museum was high on our list of things to do here in Berlin … I’m glad we were able to spend a full morning taking it all in.

Afterward, we met up with a friend of Jordan’s who lives here in Berlin. Zuzka met us for lunch in Mitte and we had a great time getting to know one another:

She is an absolute doll and we hope to be able to hang out with her again sometime this weekend.

Tonight, David and I are going to see the German version of the Blue Man Group. I have never seen the show before so we thought it’d be a fun thing to do tonight. The weather here in Berlin is warming up day by day, which we LOVE. We’ve only been here for a few days and it’s already starting to feel a bit like home ;) While we miss our family and friends back home, Berlin is taking very good care of us … we are having a blast!!

Reported Plot Details From ‘The Dark Knight’ Rises Leak To The Internets

Posted: 03 Mar 2011 08:13 AM PST

In January we learned that Anne Hathaway had been cast as Selina Kyle/Catwoman and Tom Hardy as Bane in the upcoming Batman sequel film The Dark Knight Rises. A few weeks later we learned that Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard had also been cast in the film (tho their roles have not yet been announced). Today we get to read a few reported plot details from the script of The Dark Knight Rises. Altho these deets have not yet been confirmed, you may want to avoid reading them if you want to remain unspoiled should these details prove to be correct. The deets are very interesting, so I suggest you give them a read.

OK, so below you can read some interesting plot spoilers regarding the new Batman movie. Catwoman’s role is revealed and some other cool stuff. “I just talked to a good source near the Batcamp and have come away with information about The Dark Knight Rises that confirms lots of speculation from recent months.

Here goes nothing:

As she herself confirmed, Anne Hathaway will be Catwoman in the movie. I can't tell you what role she has in the beginning, but by the end of the story Catwoman isn't a villain but rather an ally of Batman. And who are they teaming up to take out? The League of Shadows. Headed by Talia Al'Ghul. With Bane, who is her muscle/possible love interest. And with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in tow. Is he playing Black Mask? My source didn't know, but did know that Levitt is certainly an antagonist and involved with the League of Shadows.” Remember, nothing is confirmed, so take this with a grain of salt for now … Batman-On-Film.com posted on their Facebook page that this plot summary is indeed true: “FYI: Some TDKR details have leaked. I know that they are true because I’ve known about it for a few weeks now.” Again, nothing is confirmed until we get the official word. But all this definitely sounds pretty good. Stay tuned for more updates! The Dark Knight Rises is set to hit theatres on July 20, 2012!

HMMMMM. So, if true, Anne will play Catwoman and not merely Selina Kyle … that makes total sense. IMHO, it sounds like Marion Cotillard will play Talia Al’Ghul and I could see how JGL might be cast as Black Mask. All of this sounds good to me … despite my concern over Anne Hathaway‘s ability to bring Catwoman to life, I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt until I see any evidence IMHO that she can’t play the part. Who knows if these plot details will actually turn out to be true … but if so, it sounds like The Dark Knight Rises will be pretty awesome.

Michael Lohan Has Been Cast In The New Season Of ‘Celebrity Rehab’

Posted: 03 Mar 2011 07:37 AM PST

For some unknown reason (except, mebbe, for media whore pandering), Michael Lohan has been cast to appear in the upcoming new season of (charlatan) Dr. Drew Pinksy‘s reality TV series Celebrity Rehab. As you may recall, Lohan appeared in Florida recently to counsel a group of troubled teens there on the dangers of addiction and now he is going to “rehab” himself. Lindsay Lohan is, reportedly, pissed off as Hell that her father is going on the show because she believes that he will only serve to embarrass her family. Um … I think the ship has sailed on that front, Linds. The Lohan family name is a complete joke already (to the point where Michael Lohan, Jr. is planning to change his name completely). Read on to find out which other tragic sub z-list celebs have also been cast on the show.

Lindsay Lohan was “shocked and upset” to hear that her father signed up for “Celebrity Rehab” … telling friends she’s worried he’ll embarrass the family. We’re told Lohan is saying she’s most upset that her dad, Michael Lohan, began taping the show without ever giving her a heads up. Lohan is also adamant she will NEVER make an appearance on the show. Lindsay also wants to know how much Michael is getting paid for the gig — because she wants to make sure her dad kicks over some of the cash to Dina … since “he should be paying his child support for Ali and Cody.” FYI — “Celebrity Rehab” had been gunning for Lindsay to star on the show in the past … but it never came to be.

Without a doubt, I totally believe that Lohan is going on the show for “fame and fortune” and not out of a desire to “rehab” in any way. Ugh. I cannot even form into words how gross the man’s actions are to me. As for the other people who have been cast for the show … Lohan is in good company. The new season of Celebrity Rehab is full of the most tragic of the tragic:

Michaele and Tareq Salahi — the couple that allegedly crashed the White House — will enter the next season of “Celebrity Rehab” … along with one of the greatest NY Mets players of all time … TMZ has learned. Sources connected to the production tell us … Dr. Drew will have one hell of a cast for Season 5 … including: Dwight “Doc” Gooden (former NY Mets pitcher), Tareq AND Michaele Salahi (alleged WH crashers and “Real Housewives of D.C.”), Bai Ling (actress?), Jeremy Jackson (aka Hobie from “Baywatch”).

I have long contended that Dr. Drew‘s Celebrity Rehab show is the lowest of the low when it comes to reality TV. Exploiting addition and attempts at rehab for financial gain and notoriety is just gross to me. This cast is truly the saddest of the sad … which means it’s perfect for Michael Lohan. I can’t even deal with the enormity of this kind of tragicness. Blech! No wonder Lindsay Lohan is pissed … wouldn’t YOU be?

Diane Lane Has Been Cast As Martha ‘Ma’ Kent In The New Superman Film

Posted: 03 Mar 2011 06:59 AM PST

A couple of weeks ago we learned that Kevin Costner was up for the role of Jonathan Pa Kent in the upcoming Zack Snyder-directed Superman reboot film. News of Costner‘s casting came about a month after it was revealed that Henry Cavill had been cast as Clark Kent/Superman. Today we learn that actress Diane Lane has been cast as Superman‘s adoptive mother Martha Ma Kent.

Warner Bros. announced today that actress Diane Lane (Secretariat) will play Martha Kent, the adoptive mother of Kal-El/Superman/Clark Kent (Henry Cavill), in director Zack Snyder's new Superman movie. Lane, 46, is the first actor to join the film since Cavill, 27, was cast as the Man of Steel in January. "This was a very important piece of casting for me because Martha Kent is the woman whose values helped shape the man we know as Superman," Synder said in the release. "We are thrilled to have Diane in the role because she can convey the wisdom and the wonder of a woman whose son has powers beyond her imagination." The film, produced by Christopher Nolan and scripted by David S. Goyer, is slated for release Dec. 2012.

HMMM … apparently Costner‘s casting has not yet officially been confirmed … but he seems like a great choice for Pa Kent, especially opposite Diane Lane as Ma Kent. We still can’t know for sure it seems like they are going to keep Martha and Jonathan Kent relatively young (ie. middle aged) as opposed to how they are traditionally portrayed in the comic books (ie. elderly). I think Diane Lane is great … she will make a perfect Ma Kent, I think. I wonder who will be officially cast next.

Was Banksy Spotted On The Streets Of LA?

A new confirmed Banksy graffiti art piece went up in the Los Angeles area on the day after the Academy Awards (where Banksy lost the Best Documentary Oscar, unfortunately) and while that alone is interesting, what is more important about this story is that a man was photographed as the graffiti was being painted. Because Banksy‘s identity remains a mystery, some are guessing that the man photographed this week may be Banksy himself.

His film Exit Through The Gift Shop was nominated for best documentary at the Oscars. But while those hoping to see Banksy at [the] ceremony would have been left disappointed, drivers in California today caught a glimpse of a man believed to be the reclusive graffiti artist. Exactly who the man is remains a secret – but the evidence suggests that these photos taken in Santa Monica are of him. Wearing a pulled-down green cap, a brown T-shirt and grey Adidas tracksuit bottoms, ‘Banksy’ scrambled to the top of the old container at the side of a busy highway, on which he had sprayed, ‘This Looks A Bit Like An Elephant’. Banksy is known to go back to photograph his art, as revealed in his book Wall And Piece – and the man here was carrying a camera. The British artist has been prolific in the last few weeks, with artwork attributed to him springing up all over LA. The artist, who is thought to be 36 or 37-years-old has amassed a fortune from his graffiti artwork.

I find it very hard to believe that Banksy, at this point in his mysterious career, would allow himself to be caught in this way … so I don’t know that I believe this is Banksy. That being said, this graffiti art piece IS an actual Banksy … you can see a photo of it on Banksy‘s official website HERE. My guess is that this man is just someone photographing the piece for Banksy. In any event, I’m not sure what imagine Banksy really looks like … but this ain’t what I envision. What do y’all think? Do you think this could be Banksy?

First Listen: Britney Spears, ‘Till The World Ends’ & ‘Criminal’ (Preview Clips)

Last night we got our first look at the single artwork for Britney Spears‘s second single Till the World Ends, which is due for release on March 14, and right now we get our first listen of the track. A short clip of the song has made its way online along with another new clip from another song titled Criminal — this one released by Lukasz Dr. Luke Gottwald via his official Twitter profile. Hear both clips below.

As I mentioned before, I’m a bit worried by the thought of having Ke$ha write songs for Britney‘s new album but with Dr. Luke as co-executive producer, it shouldn’t come as much surprise. Dr. Luke made Ke$ha and he has a vested interest in her success … and he is running the ship as it pertains to Britney‘s new album Femme Fatale so … there you have it. Check out this clip of Till the World Ends below:

Yeah, it sounds like a Ke$ha song to me. From this clip alone, I do not hear a monster jam described by Britney‘s manager Larry Rudolph as “extraordinary” or “amazing”. I’m still keeping an open mind until I hear the song in full but this clip doesn’t wow me in the least. Next up, we get a clip from a song titled Criminal which, according to the tags, was produced by Max Martin and Shellback … take a listen:

This one seems a bit more interesting to me … and obvs, when Britney is singing about being in love with a criminal, she is referring to ex-hubby Kevin Federline, right? I’m glad the clips keep coming but I am now really anxious to hear the whole album already. What do y’all think of these two clips? Do you like one more than the other?
