Posted: 06 Sep 2010 12:40 PM PDT That remains to be seen, but judging how her mother faired in the hot seat across from Matt Lauer, maybe she would be better off letting Niecy Nash did the interview on The Insider. As you can imagine, Lindsay Lohan is being flooded with offers for her first television interview post prison/rehab. The leader of the pack is The Today Show, who is reportedly "actively" trying to sign her and isn't against paying big $$$ to get her. Whoever she chooses, LiLo better do it fast! There are a slew of celebutards just waiting in the wings for their 15 minutes of prison-related fame. She needs to strike while people still give a damn that she went to jail! Ugh! Joran Van der Sloot Admits To Extorting Money From Natalee Holloway's Parents! Posted: 06 Sep 2010 12:00 PM PDT Deplorable! The nerve of this guy! Joran Van der Sloot still remains behind bars in Peru after ruthlessly murdering a 21-year-old Peruvian woman, but that hasn't stopped him from taking interviews. Joran is more famously known for another murder, that of Natalee Holloway. For years, Natalee's parents have tried their damnedest to learn what happen to their daughter and how she was murdered. It is widely believed that Joran killed poor Natalee and though he has denied it countless times, he didn't see the harm in profiting from it. During his most recent interview from prison, Joran admitted to extorting money from Natalee Holloway's parents - for revenge! He revealed that he vengefully accepted money from the couple, in exchange for revealing the location of Natalee's body. He explains to a Dutch newspaper: "I wanted to get back at Natalee's family. Her parents have been making my life tough for five years. When they offered to pay for the girl's location, I thought: 'Why not?'" Why not? WHY NOT?! How about because no matter what you've gone through the last five years, they've been going through 10 times worse! Their daughter is dead - murdered! Probably by your hands! What audacity! The New Spidey Talks About Getting Flexible! Posted: 06 Sep 2010 11:40 AM PDT Nice! Andrew Garfield has been given the opportunity of a lifetime and it doesn't sound like the boy plans on wasting it. Over the weekend, Andrew was out promoting his new movie, Never Let Me Go, but all anyone wanted to hear about was his prep work for the new Spider-Man movie! Andrew graciously shared how things were going in an interview with THR. Here are some HIGHlights: Have you been prepping for Spider-Man? I have been waiting for this phone call for 24 years, for someone to call me up and say, "Hey, we want you to pretend to be a character that you've always wanted to be all your life, and we're going to do it with cool cameras and cool effects and you're going to feel like you're swinging through New York City. Do you want to do that?" (laughs) "Let me just consult with my seven-year old self and see what he thinks…" So my seven-year-old self started screaming in my soul and saying, This is what we've been waiting for. Like every young boy who feels stronger on the inside than they look on the outside, any skinny boy basically who wishes their muscles matched their sense of injustice, God, it's just the stuff that dreams are made of, for sure. It's a true f—ing honor to be part of this symbol that I actually think is a very important symbol and it's meant a great deal to me, and it continues to mean something to people. So yeah, I feel like I've been preparing for it for a while. Ever since Halloween when I was four years old and I wore my first Spider-Man costume. What's your approach to wrapping your brain around the coming shift in terms of your increased visibility with Spider-Man? Not to give it credence, not to give it any of my energy. Just approach it like any other job that I care about deeply. That may be naïve of me to think that I can just get away with that. But if you give focus to something, it will grow. I just want to be an actor, really. And of course all those things came into consideration when I was making the decision. But at the end of the day, I had faith that I would be able to not be defined by it. And I still have faith that I will be able to get lost in roles and just keep doing what I love to do. Is there any other prep work you'll need to do? Will you need to change your physicality or do training? I'm sure there will be a bunch of that, yeah. Flexibility is my main focus right now. Making sure that I can be as flexible as possible. It's all kind of starting up so I haven't really got much to say about it. We can't wait to see just how flexible that will actually be! It has more to do with the fact that people still give a shiz about what she is doing and with who! Good for you, BB! In an effort to make sure we all remember she isn't a lonely, bitter hag sitting a dark room somewhere surrounded by cats and broken dream, Jessica Simpson Tweeted out this picture of herself and her BF Eric Johnson yesterday. Along with the picture, she Tweeted: "I met a wonderful man. Damn I'm lucky!" Glad to see you so happy girl! Here's hoping it lasts. Who knowns, 3rd 4th 10th 17th time might be the charm for you! (That's how many guys have dumped her, right? Around that?)

John Travolta Drops Extortion Charges! Posted: 06 Sep 2010 10:40 AM PDT What's this all about??? This morning, the charges against Tarino Lightbourne and Pleasant Bridgewater, the two men who were allegedly trying to get millions from John Travolta soon after the tragic death of his son Jett, were dropped. A judge in the Bahamas complied with the request of John himself to free the men of all extortion charges. Sources say that plea baragins for the defendants were in the works for serveral weeks, but the news traveling from the islands say that case has just been closed. But why John? Why would you let these heartless a-holes walk away free and clear? We're all for moving on and rebuilding a life, but these guys should pay for the pain they have caused you! What gives??? UPDATE: Chief Counsel in the Office of the Attorney General, Neil Braithwaite, released this statement outside the courthouse in the Bahamas shortly after the charges were dropped: "The defendants have been discharged. Mr. Travolta is no longer interested in pursuing the matter because it has caused his family great emotional distress." [Image via WENN.]

So, you didn't think Lost deserved any Emmys, even though it's been on for six years and was the talk of the water cooler since that damn plane crashed on that island?! That's cool, whatever. We don't agree, but really, it was your call who won. But just so you know, the folks over at Lost don't need your stoopid trophy. They've got something better- $$$! (And loads of it!) Following their big Emmy loss, sources are reporting that the sixth and final season of Lost released on DVD has been KILLING in the charts. It's placed at #1 for the best selling DVD of the last week in August! Nice! What say you to that, Academy????
