| Lindsay Lohan plans to voluntarily check herself into rehab again: yeah, right Posted: 26 Sep 2010 08:56 AM PDT I don't even have words for my disappointment regarding Lindsay Lohan's crack validation that she really can get away with it, always, every goddamn time. Late Friday/early Saturday, Lindsay was released from Lynwood after spending 15 hours languishing without bail. Shawn Chapman Holley's appeal worked, though, and Blohan is back on the streets, probably clipping babies as we speak. But there's a "source" in the Lohan camp who wants us to know that Lindsay really does know she has a problem. According to the this source, who ran to People Magazine, Lindsay is considering voluntarily checking herself into rehab yet again in the coming days. I think this will be, like… the sixth time? Fifth or sixth.
[From People] Do you believe it? I don't. Probably because I believe that Lindsay was drinking Jack & cokes when she tweeted her mea culpa crack confession. Probably because all Lindsay ever learns from her f-cked up shenanigans is that she can always get away with it. Probably because Lindsay’s real problem is that she’s an entitled a–hole, not that she’s an addict. Probably because X17 reports that Dina - Mother Crackhead herself - brought liquor over to Lindsay's place on Thursday night, the night before her hearing, so that they could have one last mother-daughter bender before Lindsay got away with it again. Speaking of Lindsay's long history of abuse and Dina's long history of enabling Lindsay's crack drama, X17 also published some photos of Lindsay playing with a heroin needle. The photos seem to be from 2007 (you can tell by the normal size of Lindsay's lips), and in between posing for photos with the needle, she's making out with Paris Hilton. Which is more dangerous? Eh. | David Beckham sues In Touch over claims he hired hookers for vanilla sex Posted: 26 Sep 2010 08:16 AM PDT Unlikely nearly everyone else who mumbles about lawsuits when a tabloid claims they're having an affair, David Beckham has follow-through. I admire that. After In Touch Weekly reported this past week that David had hired a hooker six times back in 2007 to have some hot vanilla sex, David has now filed a lawsuit for libel, slander and "intentional infliction of emotional distress" against In Touch. Not only if Beckham suing ITW - he's also suing the hooker (former hooker?) Irma Nici.
[From Us Weekly] I have mixed feelings about this… on one side, I really believed In Touch's story, and I still kind of believe it. I definitely think David has cheated on Victoria many times in the past, and that Victoria pretty much turns a blind eye because they're pretty much a corporation at this point, and because they probably still love each other a lot, and because they've got three kids and they both seem like great parents. So, in that way, I think ITW is just digging around a marriage between two people who have their own set of rules as far as fidelity goes, and that's perhaps not fair. So… basically, I believe In Touch had every right to publish their story - they had a solid, named source and two named confirmation sources after all - but I also admire David Beckham for having the balls to take on a tabloid.    |
| ‘Bones’ star Emily Deschanel marries David Hornsby in a quiet ceremony Posted: 26 Sep 2010 07:53 AM PDT The star of one of my favorite shows got married this weekend! And no, not Johnny Knoxville. I mean, Johnny did get married, but Jackass isn't one of my favorite shows. I'm talking about Bones and Emily Deschanel. I didn't even know she had a long-term boyfriend, but apparently she did, and they got hitched yesterday in a "quiet evening ceremony." The guy's name is David Hornsby, and apparently he's done some work on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Weird. I am alone in thinking Emily probably had an affair with David Boreanaz, her Bones costar? I think that because now we know that David is a cheating bastard, and because he and Emily always had so much chemistry, but I think Emily was turned off by David's not-so-indiscreet relationship with Rachel Uchitel. Or maybe Emily and David are just friends and costars and Emily's marriage to this dude is something other than a rebound after an affair went south. Who knows?
[From People] Good on them for keeping it so quiet. And congratulations to them. By the way, Bones fans: did the premiere suck or what? I was hoping for something… I don't know, MORE. And since when do people get to leave Afghanistan just because a federal prosecutor wants to get the old team back together? And Emily's new haircut is so NOT CUTE. Bangs Trauma. That's all I'll say. I have to admit, even though their relationship has at times annoyed the hell out of me, I'm liking the new chapter with Angela and Jack though. They were one of the highlights of a show which might have overstayed their welcome. We'll see… maybe this season will get good. I hope. | Jennifer Garner in hot pink: drag queen hell or totally cute? Posted: 26 Sep 2010 07:30 AM PDT I know a lot of you love Jennifer Garner. To me, she's meh. And that may be why I'm a bit harsh on her red carpet outfits - she's a client of Rachel Zoe, after all. And I hate to think Zoe would send her out looking like a drag queen. But that's kind of what happened. First of all, I'm never a big fan of wearing the bright, dark color on top and wearing the light shade on the bottom. It makes women look top heavy, and perhaps it's just me and my big rack, but the issue of being top-heavy is a lifelong struggle for me. Beyond the weird color combination, I think it's all of the heavy jewelry…? Because Jennifer Garner is giving me a linebacker vibe. Too much going on around her shoulders and neck, and it makes her look really thick and mannish. Also - this event that she's walking the red carpet for - it's totally B-list. She was the hostess of the 6th annual Pink Party, which raises money for breast and ovarian cancer research. Good cause, for sure. But the dregs of the C-list showed up - like Denise Richards and Michelle Trachtenberg. And there was Jennifer with her weird fishtail blouse. Anyway, Jennifer spent the rest of weekend getting pap'd with her kids, like always. The Parade of Dimples lives on. Seriously, what is going on Jennifer these days? She just seems to mope around LA with her kids, doing nothing. It's kind of weird. Correction: I mean that it’s weird that she’s not working, because she’s supposed to have a bunch of films in pre-production and she hasn’t worked in a while, not that it’s weird that she’s taking care of her kids. Also, she started another round of pregnancy rumors by pushing out her stomach for photographers, she flashed her butt crack, AND she wore some really great red boots.
