While performing at the Low Low Car Show in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday, rapper Paul Wall went into the audience and went "Oops upside the head" of a fan...with his microphone.  I mean...really?

Anywho, reports say Paul and an unidentified man exchanged words after the man gave Paul the middle finger during his performance.

Once the music stopped, and the crowd began to boo the "fan", security came and tossed the man out of the event.

No charges have been filed against Paul Wall yet.

WEDDING FAB: Beverly Johnson's Daughter Anansa Gets Married!

Gorgeous Wilhelmina Agency plus-size model Anansa Johnson, daughter of super model Beverly Johnson, got hitched back in July.  She's proving that maybe you can meet your husband at a party after all.   Here's the flicks from her and her new hubby David Patterson's fab Columbus, Ohio wedding.

Anansa had her mom on hand to help her get ready for her big day.  She got married at the First Congregational Church in Columbus on July 10th.

I wonder if she rocked pieces from her mom's hair line.  Hair and make up were on point.

WTF? Melyssa Ford Pops OFF On ESSENCE Magazine

Many people have been upset these last few months with ESSENCE because the magazine hired a white fashion editor.  Others believe the magazine is out of touch with black women as a whole.  Now Melyssa Ford is upset at the magazine because of their recent cover and their "subtle" messages to black women.  Find out her profanity laced issue when you read on...

Video vixen godmother/actress/model Melyssa did an interview with VIBE and voiced her opinion about the current cover of Essence Magazine. The cover features Blair Underwood, Boris Kodjoe, and Lance Gross and the caption says "How To Keep Black Men Happy And Faithful":

 

Melyssa : "Right now Essence has on the cover, three of the most gorgeous black men ever created on the face of this fucking Earth. They have Blair Underwood who has always done it for me, Boris Kodjoe whose definition in the dictionary is fine, and then they got Lance Gross—chocolatey loveliness. And you know what they fucking have the nerve to have as the fucking title of the cover story? “How To Keep Black Men Happy and Faithful.” And faithful! How dare you?! It makes me fucking sick. [It’s like saying] ‘Women take note—how to keep your black men healthy and keep from straying from you ‘cause it’s your fault.’ And black women wrote this to their fucking counterparts. As if to say, ‘If he strays, it’s your fucking fault. You didn’t cook enough. You didn’t blow him enough. You didn’t fuck him enough. You didn’t do enough to keep your fucking man healthy or faithful.’ O-M-fucking-G! "

Melyssa: "There are times where I’m surprised at the audacity that they fucking have to put something like that on the cover, but they’re regarded as the soul sista’s bible. They accept a fucking elitist attitude on who they’ll have on the cover and who they won’t? Please. Who was on the cover last month? They were toasting to women above the age of 40, and how beautiful they look, but Naomi’s on the cover? Okay, yes. Granted, Miss Naomi walks a catwalk, and she’s still killing 16-year-old and 20-year-old girls. Yes, but she has serious anger management issues and an overwhelming sense of entitlement, and she is engaged in fucking illegal activity that’s directly related to the blood diamond industry in Africa. And you’re putting her on a pedestal? Is that what you’re doing? But you won’t cover somebody like me because I based the earlier part of my career on my sexuality? My moral compass hasn’t been shifted off too much. My values are pretty good considering the causes that I believe in and places I’ve volunteered my time and given my money to, but you don’t feel the need to ever cover any single part of my career. You don’t even acknowledge that I even fucking exist. But this is what you cover and this is the thing you say? I think it’s hypocrisy."

 

Well *snaps* in a E (for Essence) formation.  She did raise a few good points I have to admit.  Even though she should have gotten to the real point and just asked to be on the cover like she knows she wanted to.

HALLOWEEN LOVERS: Boris & Nicole Get BOO'd Up To Decorate!

"Undercovers" star Boris Kodjoe showed off his "family man" swag yesterday.  He and his gorgeous wife Nicole Ari Parker (who actually legally changed her name to Nicole Kodjoe earlier this year) hit up the local Target, then went home to deck their Santa Monica home out with the Halloween decor they copped.

I mean...Halloween is one of my fave Holidays of the year and all so I can appreciate the decked out house and excitement.  But I've ever seen it make a couple want to get it in.   On the other hand, what else is a hot ass couple supposed to do in their down time?

Lots of happenings over the weekend.  The NAACP held a celebration for AGC's Outstanding Musical Theatre Performance Of "Sarafina," the play "Through The Night" opened in NYC, and Hennessy Artistry jumped off in Miami.  See pics of Charles Randolph-Wright, Lynn Whitfield, Eve, Malika Yoba, Lynn Whitfield, and others when you go inside.

Last night the NAACP held a celebration for AGC's Outstanding Musical Theatre Performance Of "Sarafina" at the Clarity Theater in Beverly Hills, CA.

The play, "Through The Night," celebrated its opening night yesterday at the Union Square Theatre in New York City. 

Charles Randolph-Wright and Lynn Whitfield arrived together and they both looked great.

Daryl Roth, Malik Yoba and Pauletta Washington smiled for the paps.

The legendary Ruby Dee made an appearance last night too. I'd go see anything she put her stamp of approval on.

And over in Miami, Hennessy Artistry 2010 went down on Saturday.

Tocarra and her hot and svelte body made an appearance at the concert.

Kat Deluna looks like she is feeling ~sexy~.

And she hit the stage with Q-Tip for a song.

Eve rocked the mic.

I guess this is what's gonna have to go for Bobby's "smile" these days.....

The Roots crew was in full effect. I'm sure they rocked the house.

And the ORIGINAL King of R&B took to the mic.

Even and her paw prints bring out all the boys.  They don't seem to bother Q-Tip or Black Thought.

BEACH BOOS: Bobby Brown & Fiance Alicia Etheridge Hit Miami

Kid Cudi Pleads Guilty To Drug Possession + Wyclef Jean Admitted To Hospital + Jermaine Jackson Unable To Pay Child Support

Many things are popping off with the men in music these days.  First, Kid Cudi pled guilty to drug possession.  Hip-hop artist Wyclef Jean was admitted to a hospital in New Jersey for stress and fatigue.  And now, Jermaine Jackson is claiming he can't take care of his kids.  Find out all the deets inside...

When Kid Cudi was arrested in June after an argument with a girl, cops found a controlled substance on him.  On Friday, he pled guilty criminal possession in the 7th degree stemming from that arrest. But don't expect a situation where he goes to jail and uses it to promote his new album.  The judge only sentenced him to two days of community service. And probation for six months.

 

Wyclef Jean was just put in a New Jersey hospital.  Apparently he's suffering from fatigue and stress, and the news recently hit twitter.

 

 

Damn...that whole "I wanna be president of Haiti" fiasco must have really worn a brother down.  It might also be the stress of a foreclosure he is going through in Miami.  Wyclef and his friends (who co-own the property with him) owe the bank $2.4 million dollars on an unrenovated piece of property.  They stopped paying for the property in 2004, and bill collectors started swarming.  That's enough to stress anybody out. 

Get well Wyclef...then get ya checkbook.

 

In other money woes, Jermaine Jackson is broke.  According to new legal documents he just filed, Jermaine can no longer pay for child support because he claims his business is failing.   Jermaine filed new child support papers in L.A. County Superior Court complaning that he's expected to pay $3,000 a month in child support for sons Jaafar and Jermajesty. But his average monthly income for the last year has been under $1,100.  And I imagine most of that went to his hair-care products.  How dare the judge expect him to cut into his Blue Magic money??

Jermaine has asked the judge to chop the payments down to $215 a month.  The documents claim Jermaine hasn't really made any money since 2007 when he got a $450,000 check for his onetime appearance on the UK's "Big Brother."  Since then, he's had no income.  

Meanwhile, Katherine Jackson has been taking up the slack and allowing Jermaine's kids and baby mama Alejandra to move into the Jackson family compound. So she's basically taking care of HIS family.  That woman must have a heart of gold.
