A Second ‘Britney Spears Episode’ Of ‘Glee’ Is Confirmed For 2011

The much ballyhooed Britney Spears Episode of Glee titled Britney/Brittany won’t air on Fox until Tuesday night but today we learn that a second Britney Spears Episode has been scheduled to air in the new year. AOL Music is reporting that the second Britney ep of Glee will air on after Super Bowl XLV early next year and will, in fact, feature Britney herself in a sizable role:

Much like in the first season of ‘Glee’ when they dedicated an entire episode to Madonna, season two will have not one, but two episodes dedicated to Britney Spears. The first Britney Spears tribute — entitled ‘Britney/Brittany’ — will air as the second episode of season two on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 8PM ET. Also like season one, season two will take a break over the holidays and resume airing new episodes in early 2011. ‘Glee’ will then return right after Super Bowl XLV with the second Britney Spears episode. Spears herself has been confirmed to make a cameo in an anesthesia-induced dream sequence at the dentist’s office for the first episode. While there is no confirmation yet about the second episode, considering it is set to air in such a high-profile slot after the Super Bowl, our guess is Britney will play a much larger role in the second.

Squeeeeee!! We are just days away from the first Britney Spears Episode of Glee and now we know when we can expect to see the next Britney ep! This is fantastic news. If there is one thing I’ve learned in this life, it’s that one can never have too much Britney Spears ;)

Cops & Robbers

Last night David and I enjoyed a nice dinner/movie date where he got to pick both the restaurant and the film. We had a great dinner at La Boheme in West Hollywood, CA and then made our way to the ArcLight Hollywood to see the Ben Affleck-directed film The Town. To be honest, I wasn’t all that looking forward to watching an Ben Affleck film but I had heard good things and David really loves these types of movies so we went … and I actually loved it:


The film opens with a voice-over by Affleck in, what I felt, was a very bad Boston accent … so, of course, I was worried that I was gonna hate the whole thing. But very quickly, I’m happy to say, the film won me over … and then, eventually, even Ben won me over as well. The lead actress Rebecca Hall is really good but the real star of the film is Jeremy Renner. He is just so good in this film. And yes, even Ben managed to not only give a strong performance in the film but his direction really proved that he’s got talent. The only person who really didn’t measure up, IMHO, was Jon Hamm. But, to be honest, he was a’ight. I will say that even Blake Lively gave a better performance than he did … which isn’t a slight, she was actually very good in the film as well. The Town is a great action-packed thriller that is not only believable but is also very entertaining story-wise. I was very pleasantly surprised and am happy to recommend it to others. It’s good, y’all.

Afterward, David and I stopped by FUBAR for a nightcap and discovered that it was “Wet Otter” night. Needless to say, the amateur entertainment was pretty subpar but we had fun anyways. It’s crazy … David and I never go out, like, ever … but managed to go out for two weekends in a row. Amazing.

Tonight I’m meeting up with Yasmin and Darion to see Resident Evil: Afterlife in 3D. I promised him I’d wait to see the film until he returned home from Japan so we’re finally seeing the damn thing. I hope your Sunday is going well. Happy Weekend!

Satyana Takes Alyson Hannigan & Alexis Denisof Out For A Walk

Everyone’s favorite Buffyverse family, the Hannigan-Denisofs, stepped out for a family stroll here in SoCal this weekend and they looked 1000% adorable all the while. As you can see from these photos, Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof‘s baby girl Satyana isn’t really a baby anymore … now that she’s fully capable of walking on her own two feet like a big girl:


We’re very used to seeing photos of Aly and Alexis pushing around Saty in her stroller but this new sight of the Little Miss walking around on her own is just too dang cute. I can’t even stand it … Satyana is just precious. After the jump, check out a couple more photos that take the cuteness to a whole ‘nother level …


It won’t be long until Satyana‘s riding around on a scooter, then a bike, then a car … it’s crazy! She was just a tiny baby not that long ago and now she’s a kid. The happy sight of Aly and Alexis enjoying time with their baby girl is just the highlight of the day. I just love them so :D

Today we get to see new photos of the couple and their Bump in Milan, Italy. Check out how fabulous Miranda looks as she and Orlando made their way out of DA Giacomo restaurant last night:


Fab. I didn’t think it was possible for Miranda Kerr to get any more beautiful than she already was but now that she’s got that pregnant glow … man … she is stunning. I just love these two … I can’t wait until baby Bloom makes his/her arrival.

Brad Pitt & Zahara Marley Go Shopping At The Grove

Yesterday afternoon Brad Pitt took his daughter Zahara Marley to the American Girl Place doll shop at the outdoor shopping center The Grove here in LA yesterday and managed to create quite a ruckus by just their very presence. Here are photos of Brad and Zahara as they tried to make their way out of the shop yesterday:


As you can see, Zahara looks less than impressed by the throngs of people trying to get a peek at her shopping excursion with her daddy. I guess while Shiloh Nouvel is off playing swords with her brothers, Zahara is more interested in playing with creepy dolls from American Girl Place.

David Beckham Visits Trinidad & Tobago

David Beckham, in his role as UK soccer ambassador, has made his way to the island nation of Trinidad & Tobago in an attempt to convince the FIFA Executive Committee (which oversees the decision-making process that determines which countries will host the World Cup Soccer Tournament) that the 2018 World Cup tourney should be hosted by England. But, while Becks was in T&T, he also did a bit of fraternizing with the locals. Here are a few photos of Becks coaching some kids at the Marvin Lee Stadium in Port of Spain kicking off the Trinidad & Tobago Football Federation‘s 6-day festival along with some deets about the official nature of his visit:

David Beckham flew to Trinidad from Los Angeles yesterday on a 24-hour mission to win hearts, minds and crucial votes at the beginning of the end-game to bringing the 2018 World Cup to England. In just 67 days’ time in Zurich, the 24-man FIFA executive committee will announce who will host the biggest football show on earth after Brazil entertain the world four years from now. And for Beckham, the flying visit to the Caribbean is a moment to deliver a significant message to the powerbrokers of the world game. ‘A World Cup in England would be an inspiration for a whole new generation – just as the Olympics already are,’ said Beckham. ‘The prospect of having the world’s best players in the world’s best tournament right on your doorstep is truly amazing.’ Beckham’s pre-eminence among British sporting stars prompted Lord Coe to include him as part of the team assembled to deliver the 2012 Olympic Games to London with a brilliant presentation in Singapore five years ago – and the 35-year-old, England’s most capped outfield player, feels the nation could be celebrating again on December 2 … With FIFA president Sepp Blatter and members of his executive committee also in Port of Spain, Beckham will launch a six-day football festival in Trinidad and Tobago this morning run by his football academy. It’s quite clear that David Beckham would do anything asked of him in order to support the English Soccer Team. I know he was devastated earlier this year when his injury forced him off the English Team at the World Cup in June so I’m certain that he is really hoping to help secure the World Cup for England in 2018 … even tho he will not be able to play, it’s the least he can do for the country and national soccer team that he loves so much. I understand that Becks‘s eldest son Brooklyn Joseph accompanied him to Trinidad but because the visit is so short, we may not get to see father and son together until they return home from their quick trip. In any event, here’s hoping Becks‘s visit will work in England’s favor.

Is Lindsay Lohan Finally Ready For Rehab?

According to new reports, Lindsay Lohan has finally woken up to the fact that she is in need of serious rehab … not playing around rehab, not I’m going to rehab because the judge told me to go to rehab … actual rehab where the end result is the actual will to not want to take drugs. Now, it’s unclear if this new realization is genuine or will be long lasting — or if it’s just another ploy to try and look good to the court (in an effort to avoid further punishment) but it seems to me that any willingness to enter a rehab treatment program is a positive step forward. TMZ is reporting that L. Lo may be entering a real rehab program “sooner rather than later” … read on:

Lindsay Lohan confessed to her friends this week that she needed to go back to rehab — not jail — if she was going to defeat her addiction demons … TMZ has learned. Sources tell TMZ Lindsay was surprisingly self-aware that she made a big mistake by falling off the wagon and testing positive for cocaine — and that she couldn’t fight her disease alone. We’re told Lindsay was also aware that her relapse had “ruined a lot” in connection to the revival of her career … Sources close to Lindsay Lohan tell TMZ Lindsay knows her next trip to rehab won’t be a walk in the park … she’ll be in for some “intense” treatment. People close to Lindsay and the family tell TMZ they were all shocked that Lindsay got tossed in jail on Friday — if only for a few hours. One close friend said Lindsay thought the judge was trying to make an example out of her — Lindsay called it “completely unfair.” As for what’s next … our Lohan sources say Lindsay knows she needs rehab and she needs a good “foundation.” The word that keeps coming into Lindsay’s circle is “intense” — that Lindsay needs to go away this time, and sooner rather than later. We’re told Lindsay, Dina and her manager, Lou Taylor, are all a part of the rehab discussion.

Personally, I find any information provided by “sources close to Lindsay” dubious at best but let’s, for the sake of positivity, assume that maybe some of this information is genuine. I think it would be a very good sign if Lindsay admits herself into a rehab program of her own volition and makes an effort to clean up her life. If she makes a serious commitment to rehab, then she might actually get better. There’s no telling if Lindsay will end up getting sent back to jail, if only for a very short stay again, when she goes back to court on October 22 … but if she starts serious work on her sobriety in the meantime (rather than, say, going out day and night for the next few weeks) she might actually start to save her own life. I’m not holding my breath but, well, I guess we shall see. Additionally, it’s interesting that Lindsay‘s manager Lou Taylor is mentioned here. While I was pretty convinced that Larry Rudolph was in her employ in an attempt to help revive her career, my guess is that he is no longer working for her (if he ever was at all). It’s just crazy how much drama one 24 year old girl can live thru on a day to day basis. How much more can she endure before everything seriously crashes down on her? I’m afraid to find out.
