The EPIC Britney Spears Episode of Glee, titled Britney/Brittany, will air on Fox on Tuesday night (just 4 short days) but right now courtesy of BritneySpears.com, we get to check out a preview clip of the ep. In this 1:20 video, we see how the Glee version of Britney‘s song Me Against the Music gets underway:


As you may recall, we saw a photo of Britney Spears herself on set when this ep was being filmed and she was wearing the Madonna costume from her Me Against the Music video … will she actually make a cameo in the clip when it airs on Tuesday night? I guess we’ll just have to tune in to find out. How awesome is this preview? I cannot WAIT to see Britney/Brittany … ugh, so excited!!

Aliana ‘Ali’ Lohan Models The 6126 Collection

On the very same day that her older sister Lindsay Lohan was sent back to jail for the 3rd time in her young life, we are getting our first look at younger sister Aliana Ali Lohan modeling 6126, the clothing collection designed by jailbird Lindsay … behold:

Ali Lohan is forging ahead in her modelling career despite her family’s troubles by posing in a racy new ad for her sister’s clothing line. Lindsay Lohan’s little sister looked older than her 16 years wearing the leg-baring 6126 dresses. She wore a cleavage baring red frock and a ultra-mini lace dress that stopped at her upper thigh. The line is inspired by Marilyn Monroe and ‘salutes modern women who understand that confidence can be bewitching and classic sophistication is always in vogue’.

This is such a bad idea … I can’t even begin to describe how wrong this is. And, to be honest, Ali does not look like a model … no way. I’m not trying to be mean or anything but she looks like her dad Michael Lohan in drag. Here’s an idea, how about Ali Lohan go to college and get an education! I’m thinkin’ showbiz is not the biz for her … if she learns anything from her older sister, it should be that valuable lesson.

The Broadway Revival Of ‘Angels In America’ Has Gone Into Production

About a month ago we got to check out some rehearsal photos from the Broadway revival of Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, the 2 time Tony Award winning Best Play by playwright Tony Kushner. Today we get to see a batch of fantastic production photos from Angels in America which features Zachary Quinto, Bill Heck, Billy Porter, Christian Borle and others:


Performances have already begun and because the shows keep selling out so quickly, the show’s run has been extended again until February 20, 2011. This is a show that I really hope to be able to see. I am really interested in seeing Zachary on stage, live. I’m hoping to get my buns to NYC so that I can see the show before it ends its extended run.

A Very Muscular Chris Evans Shows Up On The Set Of ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’

Earlier this month we got our first look at the ill-fitting and bulky old skool Captain America costume on the UK set of Captain America: The First Avenger but sadly, there was no sign of lead actor Chris Evans in sight. Today we don’t get to see the costume but we sure do get to see photos of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America on set …


… which we can feast our eyes on — after the jump …

“Captain America: The First Avenger” is still filming in the U.K. and a recent production in Northern Quarter Manchester has been videotaped. According to a YouTube user who posted the video, Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter is featured in the making of an explosive scene. Dressing in brown shirt and skirt, the said actress is captured running across the street from an antique shop before standing in front of a camera to get her close-up shot. Meanwhile, a vintage car behind her is seen exploding. Comic Book Movie (CBM) also obtains a picture of Atwell pointing a gun to a car in front of her. Beside filmed in Manchester, “Captain America” is also shot in Liverpool. According to Liverpool local Jamie Lewis (via CBM) who spoke to a female security guard, the depicter of Steve Rogers aka Captain America, Chris Evans, is expected to join the production there on Monday, September 27.

Well, actually, as you can see here … Chris Evans joined production of Captain America earlier today … and he is lookin’ fine! I am loving the arms, not really sure about the freaky over-sized feet but WHEW! he looks good in that super tight t-shirt don’t he? MMMM. And, because I love y’all, here is the video footage that shows Hayley Atwell in action as Peggy Carter:


Oh yes, if we get to see more photos like THIS of Chris Evans … then I am very much looking forward to seeing more footage from the set of The First Avenger.

Lindsay Lohan Booked, Mug Shot & Jailed . . . Again

So … in the past few hours since we learned that Lindsay Lohan was denied bail by Judge Elden Fox and was immediately remanded into jail for the next 30 days — with NO HOPE for early release — until her next court hearing on October 22, Lindsay has been pretty bizzy. But before we get to that, let’s check out a few new things from this morning’s court hearing that resulted in Lindsay‘s immediate incarceration. Because there were no cameras or cellphones allowed in the courtroom this morning, the scene inside had to be sketched by courtroom sketch artists Mona Shafer Edwards (who has previously sketched Lindsay‘s court appearances) and Bill Robles. Here is what the scene looked like inside the courtroom this morning, including the moment when Lindsay, with her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley by her side, was handcuffed and led away to jail, thru the art of Ms. Edwards and Mr. Robles:


After Judge Fox slapped down Lindsay HARD in the courtroom, her media hungry parents made their way out of the courthouse to face the throng of cameras … surprisingly, mama Dina Lohan had nothing to say as she left the building with a plastic bag full of Lindsay‘s things in hand. Papa Michael Lohan, on the other hand, called a press conference to rage against the unfairness of incarcerating his criminal-prone daughter with a 17-year old chico ‘stached preacher by his side:


I don’t even want to waste any further time talking about the Lohan parents … they are despicable people and, IMHO, are 2 of the main reasons why Lindsay Lohan is the way she is … a drug-addled mess.

As for the trainwreck herself, she has already been processed, booked and mug shot at her new home — the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, CA. After the jump, check out her newest mug shot …

Six Feet Under

Last night my friend Darion and I made our way out to the ArcLight Hollywood to see an early screening of the new Ryan Reynolds film Buried. Much to my happy surprise, the 90ish minute long movie takes place entirely inside a coffin buried in the Iraqi desert with only Reynolds to provide the film’s entertainment … and he does an absolutely fantastic job:


There are 3 things that I learned from this film … First, if you find that you are buried in the desert and you are blessed with a working cell phone, 99.9% of the people you call for help will not believe you. Second, Iraq has THE BEST cellphone service that I have ever heard of … even when buried in the desert, your calls to various locales around the globe can successfully be made. Third, Ryan Reynolds is very, very capable of providing a film’s worth of entertainment with just a coffin and a few props (a cellphone, a pen, a flashlight and a couple of glow sticks). I’m telling you … this film is great. The only thing I did not like was the inclusion of a surprise snake in the middle of the film … I mean, I get there needs to be some elements of surprise but the snake felt like a bit too much to me. That being said, there really are no bad things to say about the film. I loved the Michigan connection of the character and I really loved how the story played itself out. For the duration of the film you are not really sure how things are going to end … I was very satisfied with the way this film ended. Both Darion and I loved this film a lot, even tho Ryan Reynolds didn’t take off one piece of clothing! He really impressed me with his acting in Buried, I think he may impress you, too.

Tonight a bunch of us are making our way up to Valencia, CA to play at Six Flags Magic Mountain Amusement Park for their annual Out on the Mountain night!


Basically, the park shuts down for the gays so that we can run amok and ride all the rides to our collective hearts’ content. We had a blast last year so we are all very excited for another night of fun tonight!!

Alex Winter Confirms A New ‘Bill & Ted’ Sequel Is In The Works

On Monday we learned the most excellent news from Keanu Reeves himself that plans are in the works to make a long-awaited sequel to the bodacious 90′s films Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. Today we learn from actor Alex Winter, the Bill of Bill & Ted, that YES they are working on making a new film … in fact, a new Bill & Ted film is already in development!

“We kicked around the idea over the years and had always thought if we could make something that was as kind of genuine in spirit as the originals and without falling prey to kind of retro cynicism or something that was unnecessary, it would be worth doing,” Winter told MTV’s Adam Rosenberg in an interview arranged, amusingly, via Twitter. “Now the cat’s out of the bag, and the truth is that, yeah, we have finally hit upon an idea that we think is pretty great.” “We’ve been working on it for the past couple of years, honing that idea and getting it into shape,” he continued. “[Screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon] are working on it now. The bottom line is that we still all feel like we need to sit down and look at a script and see if it’s everything that it can be before we set about doing anything with it.” Winter wasn’t able to divulge much about what “Bill & Ted 3″ will focus on, though he emphasized that the movie won’t be “cynical.” “The essence of what we’ve always wanted to do is to make a ‘Bill & Ted’ movie,” he said. “We don’t want to make a cynical ‘here’s Bill and Ted — you guys are our kids, now YOU guys go be Bill and Ted and the franchise can live for another 25 years!’ It’s not that. It’s a straight up, what’s the funniest and most surprising take on where Bill and Ted would be right now if we stopped back in on them? That’s what we’re doing.” One of the biggest obstacles facing the project, according to Winter, is figuring out how to deal with the absence of the late George Carlin, who famously played the time-traveling Rufus. “We’re working our way through it right now,” said Winter. “It’s really complicated. He was such a big part of the spirit of the originals, and we’ve been trying to be clever about making a new one that can handle the Carlin issue. It’s actually stopped us in the past — why do it without Rufus? We’ve been delicate about moving around him.” Thankfully, the thought of recasting Rufus has never even crossed Winter’s mind. “That would be horrible,” he said. “That’s the thing about the movies — they’re personality-based. It’s Reeves’ personality when he’s doing comedy, it’s my personality and it was George’s personality. It doesn’t really work when you’re pretending that other people are those people, because there’s just not that much there [otherwise]. No, we’re definitely not going to recast Rufus.”

OMG … this is all just amazing to hear. I have been a big fan of Alex Winter for years, even outside the Bill & Ted films. He had a show in the 90′s on MTV called Liquid Television which was kinda what Robot Chicken on Cartoon Network is like today (you can watch some of Liquid Television HERE). It was a show of animated shorts that introduced the world to Beavis & Butthead and Aeon Flux. He also starred in little video vignettes on the show which were very funny. I always wondered what became of Alex Winter … I’m glad to hear that he’s been hard at work on developing a new Bill & Ted film. At this early stage in development, there is no proposed release date for the film … but the fact that they are already talking very publicly about the project means we may hear something soon about filming production and filming. I can’t even tell you … I am so excited by this news … Most Excellent, indeed!

‘Scream 4’ Releases A New Gale Weathers Promo Photo

Yesterday we got our first look at video footage from the upcoming sequel film Scream 4 and today we get to check out a new promo image from the film. The new issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine brings us this first look at Gale Weathers, played by Courteney Cox-Arquette, being stalked by the Ghostface killer in a new promo pic:

Courteney Cox Screams Again When Scream 4 opens April 15, 10 years have passed. Cox’s character, Gale Weathers, is now married to Dewey (Cox’s real-life husband, David Arquette). ”I kind of gave up my job as the entertainment journalist,” says Cox. ”I’m bored with my life and my marriage.” Bringing a little excitement to town is Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell). Her return leads to more Ghostface murders, which reenergize Gale. Says Cox, ”Things start happening, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.”

I just love how all the Scream 4 teases just keep on coming. You know, despite the fact that Courteney‘s character has survived all 3 previous Scream films, there is no guarantee that she will survive this new installment. New Decade. New Trilogy. Who knows, all of the previous stars could get butchered in Scream 4, paving the way for a new crop of characters to take the story in a whole new direction. True, it’s a bit much to make that leap from just one promo pic … but we just don’t know. I can’t wait to find out tho … I really can’t wait.

Lindsay Lohan Has Been Sent Back To Jail

Judge Elden Fox has denied bail to Lindsay Lohan and has just ordered her immediate incarceration.

UPDATE: Despite reports suggesting otherwise, Jude Elden Fox decided to actually punish Lindsay Lohan for failing 2 court-ordered drug tests while out on probation from substance abuse charges dating back to 2007. Despite the fact that her latest infractions are misdemeanors, Judge Fox decided to DENY Lindsay bail and has sent her off to jail TODAY. Here are a couple photos of Lindsay making her arrival at court just about an hour ago, very likely completely unaware that she would be going to jail:


The full deets from today’s hearing are not yet totally available because there were no cameras and no cellphones allowed in the courtroom … but we do know that Judge Fox decided to take the hard approach of sending Lindsay back to jail rather than rehab and without any chance of getting out early. Because her bail has been denied, she cannot pay her way out of jail … nor can she be released early due to jail overcrowding. Because Judge Fox set her next court appearance for October 22, Lindsay Lohan will be forced to remain in jail for the next 30 days until she is brought back to court for her next hearing. At last, someone is seriously making her pay for her crimes … can you believe?

Gwen Stefani Gets Immortalized In Wax

No Doubt frontwoman, solo artist in her own right, fashion designer and rockstar mom Gwen Stefani is the latest celebrity to be immortalized in wax by Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum … and this week, Gwen was on hand to make an in-person appearance at the Madame Tussaud’s in Las Vegas, NV to officially unveil her waxen doppelgänger:

A smiling Gwen Stefani gets all excited as she meets her new $300,000 waxwork in Las Vegas. So presumably, the singer-turned fashion-designer had overlooked the fact that sculptors have added extra inches to her life-like model. The waxwork of the 40-year-old mother of two has actually been made two percent larger than the star is in real life … the waxwork has been made bigger to allow for shrinkage in the Nevada desert climate, according to celebrity blogger Robin Leach of Las Vegas Weekly. Gwen was on hand [this week] for the unveiling ceremony at Madame Tussaud’s in Las Vegas. She dressed for the occasion in incredibly short colourful dress teamed with black tights and killer heels. Meanwhile her waxwork has been suited in a crop top, showing off a green bra underneath and toned stomach, teamed with trousers and knee high lace up boots. It took nearly six months from Gwen's first private sitting to create the figure, and more than 250 measurements and photographs were taken at a total cost of $300,000. The three-time Grammy Award-winning No Doubt singer arrived in Las Vegas on Tuesday night ahead of the ceremony. ‘We are very excited to have Gwen Stefani's figure added to our attraction,’ Madame Tussauds General Manager Rosita Chapman said in a statement. ‘She's consistently rated high on our request list, so we are very pleased to bring her figure to all her loyal fans.’

Once again, the artists at Madam Tussaud’s have done it again. This wax statue of Gwen looks so lifelike that you’d be hard-pressed to figure out which Gwen is the real Gwen without getting all up close and personal. The Jackman Family Steps Out For A Happy Family Outing

It’s been a few months since we’ve seen photos of Hugh Jackman and his family out and about together but with a new school year comes new opportunities to see photos of the Jackmans together in public. This week, Hugh and wife Deborra-Lee Furness walked their daughter Ava Eliot home from school and they looked like a very happy, very loving family:


It is always nice to see a doting dad in action … especially one as hawt as Hugh Jackman. It’s also nice to see photos of Hugh and wife Deborra-Lee out in public together. We don’t usually get to see Mrs. Jackman out with her hubby so it’s a nice change of pace to see the family all together. Only son Oscar Maximillian is missing … but he’s getting a bit too big to be walked home from school with is parents and little sister. It is always a happy day when we get to see such a happy family lookin’ so happy together.

The Beckham Family Steps Out For A Happy Family Outing

Amid new and unconfirmed rumors of marital infidelity, David and Victoria Beckham stepped out in SoCal last night with their young’ns in tow in a show of support for one another … lookin’ about as in lurve with one another as ever:


Okay, so maybe they don’t look quite so happy (deffo not as happy as they looked together last weekend) … but at least their together and that should be proof enough that these new cheating allegations are complete hogwash … right? It seems to me that Les Beckhams would look much better if they just carried on their every day lives without reacting to these rumors every time they pop up. The sight of Vicki B. trying to crawl underneath the dashboard rather than being photographed next to her husband makes it seem like she’s got something to hide. They should just chill out, weather the storm and sue the pants off the folks making these unfounded extramarital claims. Hello, it’s the American way!

Lindsay Lohan Due In Jail, Will Likely NOT Go Back To Jail

Ever since we learned conclusively that Lindsay Lohan failed 2 of her court-ordered drug tests, crimes that would require her immediate incarceration in jail for 30 days for each infraction, we’ve been hearing about how Lindsay would most assuredly get thrown back in jail … but as the days whittled down after the arrest warrant was issued earlier this week forcing her appearance in court today, the likelihood of Lindsay‘s incarceration have dwindled down to … nothing. TMZ is reporting that their sources are telling them that Lindsay Lohan will very likely NOT get sent back to jail … not now, not later … for her 2 failed drug tests for a variety of reasons. Additionally, RadarOnline is reporting that Judge Elden Fox has ordered that today’s court hearing will NOT be televised and that NO cameras will be allowed inside the courtroom … that way, if he really does give her the opportunity to avoid serving jailtime we, the people, will not be able to watch him do so. Read on for all the gory details:

From RadarOnline: Lindsay Lohan's moment of truth before Judge Elden Fox will be banned from television screens, RadarOnline.com has confirmed. The judge – who has been left with egg on his face, after slashing her court-ordered 90 day stint in rehab – has denied media requests to have a camera in the courtroom during Friday's hearing, preventing a live shot of Lohan's reaction when the ruling is handed down … The starlet's previous judge, Marsha Revel, allowed cameras
in the court for the hearing when Lindsay was sentenced to the 90 days in jail and 90 days in rehab. The cameras zoomed in on Lindsay's hand during the hearing, showing the expletive "Fuck U" she painted on one nail. Pat Kelly, spokesperson for Los Angeles Superior Court, told RadarOnline.com: “It’s my understanding that Judge Fox has denied cameras in the courtroom for Ms. Lohan’s hearing.”

From TMZ: There was a buzz in the case that Judge Elden Fox would have Lindsay jailed tomorrow — without giving her bail — and make her sit behind bars for 30 days until the next hearing. The danger for Lindsay — she would have to serve the full 30 days and would not be released early because of jail overcrowding. But insiders tell TMZ … if Judge Fox remands Lindsay into custody he must set bail, because the underlying offenses are all misdemeanors. So here’s the way it will go down … Our sources say tomorrow’s hearing will be extremely short. There won’t be any arguments over the case. Judge Fox will schedule the formal probation violation hearing, and almost certainly remand Lindsay into custody and then set bail. But you can bet a bail bondsman will be right there in the courtroom to take care of business on the spot. So Lindsay will walk out a free woman tomorrow. When the probation violation hearing is held next month, it’s likely Judge Fox will sentence Lindsay to 30 days in jail based on the failed drug test for cocaine … But this 30-day sentence would be subject to the realities of jail overcrowding, which means Lindsay would go to jail for booking and probably be released an hour or two later.

This is just outrageous … even when the girl flagrantly breaks the law while on probation for the last time she broke the law, Lindsay manages to avoid paying for her crimes. I was worried when I learned that Judge Fox was banning cameras from his courtroom because I was worried he was planning to do something that he doesn’t want the public to see … and then came the report from TMZ and I thought, Ah ha! That’s why. Essentially, Lindsay will very soon be free once again to fail as many drug tests as she likes because, well, why not … she cannot be punished for doing so. It seems like nothing and no one can help Lindsay save herself … so it’s all up to her.

Additionally, TMZ is also reporting that L. Lo enjoyed a Last Supper of sorts with her younger siblings Michael Lohan, Jr. and Aliana Ali Lohan before her court hearing today. Lindsay grocery shopped and cooked, y’all! After the jump, check out the SHOCKING photo you simply have to see …

Lindsay Lohan sure acted like it was her last days of freedom because TMZ has learned she did something totally off the wall … for her — grocery shopping and cooking at home. Linds was seen loading up her Porsche Cayman’s limited-spaced trunk earlier this week with ingredients for what sources close to her say was a home cooked meal. We’re told, Lindsay and her siblings — Ali and Michael Jr. — pitched in to make breaded tilapia, chicken, scallops, brown rice, and salad. No wine was served and no one named Judas (or Michael Lohan) was invited — still it was kind of a last supper for the kids. Sources tell us Ali and Mike Jr. jetted out of town ahead of Lindsay’s probation violation hearing. TMZ will be at court starting around 8:00 AM PDT — standing by for all the drama when LiLo appears before Judge Elden Fox.

And there you have it … Lindsay Lohan enjoyed a very nice dinner with her family before she is due to be in court in just about an hour’s time. When she does get to court, she will likely walk in and out and avoid going to jail and will be back on the street in time to resume her normal day to day activities … which means she will very soon be free to do whatever the Hell she wants yet again. God bless the US justice system.
