A week ago today I shared with y’all the first 1:40 seconds of the season 5 premiere episode of Dexter titled My Bad. Today, I’m sharing another 1:40 clip from that very same ep … which will air in its entirety on Sunday night when the new season of Dexter premieres on Showtime at 9PM ET/PT. Music producer Los Da Mystro has suggested that a new track from Beyoncé might be released in just weeks. Mr. Da Mystro tweeted that he heard the track and is under the impression that it will be released next month … tho he did qualify this announcement by saying “But it is the music Business. could b sooner r lata..” implying that the folks at the record label might hinder such an early release for B’s track. Here are the deets as we know them about this rumored new music from Beyoncé:
Following reports buzzing on the street that Beyonce Knowles is getting back to work for a new album, producer Los Da Mystro hinted on his Twitter that the “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” hitmaker is going to debut a new single next month. He furthermore revealed the upcoming track is due in three weeks. “Listening to New B record Dream wrote…F**KINg INSANE! WOw!! She About to Kill the game again! Had to Listen again!! Yall C in 3 weeks!” he tweeted. “Thats what they sayn now.. But it is the music Business. could b sooner r lata..” Other info about the album remains under tight wraps, but Ne-Yo who confirmed his involvement in the project assured fans that Beyonce will bring her best as she “definitely has her own agenda” … The other producers who lend helping hands are Sean Garrett and Jim Jonsin. Sean told EW of what he is going to do with the record, “I think we are doing a lot of uptempo records for this one. She’s in such a good place right now in life that she is interested in making party music, definitely.” As for Jim, he had this to say to Rap-Up, “I’d like to take it even more Depeche Mode-ish, like ’80s electro with just some hard drums.” Amid the scarce details, Beyonce will, one thing for sure, ditch her alter ego Sasha Fierce in the not-yet-titled album. “Sasha Fierce is done. I killed her,” she told Allure magazine earlier this year. “I don’t need Sasha Fierce anymore, because I’ve grown and now I’m able to merge the two.”
I have no doubt that Beyoncé will be back with a new batch of killer music … her game just keeps getting better and better. I do doubt, tho, that we will be hearing new music from her so soon. While I would LOVE to hear a new track in 3 weeks time, I won’t be holding my breath just yet. That said … I would not be surprised if we do hear something new from B by year’s end. It may not be a new album release but we might get a hot track. I’m excited, y’all. New music from Beyoncé is cause for celebration in my book.
It was a night of lace tights, skirts, and mother-daughter bonding for Madonna and daughter Lourdes Leon, 13, as they celebrated the launch of their Material Girl clothing line Wednesday night at Macy's Herald Square in N.Y.C. Despite being a fashion icon, Madonna was content to take a backseat when it came to choosing the items for the Material Girl girl. "Lola did most of the work. I just kind of hung out in the background and went, 'That's nice,' but she pretty much did all of the work. I was just overseeing it," she said. But when your mom is Madonna and you're creating a fashion line for teenage girls, it isn't always that simple. "There are some definite pieces [inspired by my mom]. The tulle skirt because that's like her thing—she made that. The necklaces, the gloves, the lace tights, the combat boots…that tough girly thing," Lourdes told PEOPLE. As for the items in Mom's closet that she covets most? "All of her shoes are ridiculous! I love to try on her [Christian] Louboutins," she said. Also on hand for the celebration was Material Girl face Taylor Momsen. "It was such an honor to be chosen by Madonna and Lola. They're such talented people and I'm just ecstatic," gushed the Gossip Girl star. The night concluded with the three ladies gathering on the fourth floor of Macy's, as dancers performed and a DJ spun many of Madonna's songs. "Lola has been so inspiring and it's been so great to watch her focus, her determination." Madonna said. "I've achieved many things in my life, but I have to say watching my daughter make her dreams come true and achieve her goals is more exciting than anything I've ever done."

Aww, Rocco is a cutie … it’s cool to see that he had fun. Both Lourdes and Taylor look so miserable in their photos that you’d think they hated their very existences and were forced to attend last night’s launch event. It’s unclear if Madonna plans to launch her Material Girl line every single month but I wouldn’t put it past her. I guess we’ll have to see if she decides to do this all over again in October.
ET has gotten a chance to visit the set of “Scream 4″ and shared what they saw in a behind the scene video. It gives glimpses of scenes from the film, including when Sidney Prescott is chased upstairs and on the roof by the masked-serial killer. Meanwhile, complete interviews with the cast are compiled in another video released by ET Online …Neve Campbell, says filming “Scream 4″ is “like going back to summer camp.” She adds, “Coming back to it now after years of people enjoying them and seeing each other again, it’s nice.” Meanwhile, Courteney Cox explains that her character, Gale Weathers, has given up her job as a reporter to marry Deputy Dewey (played by David Arquette) and write books. “She’s written six ‘Stab’ books and she has writer’s block, and she’s pretty bored, pretty miserable, pretty desperate, and all of a sudden some murders start happening and her life starts to look up. She likes a good murder.” The production of the fourth “Scream” film has been completed as director Wes Craven tweeted on early September 22, “It’s the end of the beginning, and the beginning of the end… That’s a wrap on @Scream4!” Speaking about the film, the helmer tells ET, “You see some of the old, and some of the new, and something borrowed and something blue.” In addition to bringing back the main original cast, “Scream 4″ also recruits young stars like Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere and Rory Culkin. Plot details of the film are not yet known while the movie is already set for April 15, 2011 release in the U.S.

After seven seasons, “Top Chef” tries to revamp it up with an All-Stars edition. 18 faces from previous seasons are brought back to the kitchen to fight each other and win the title of the ultimate Top Chef. The first look of who these great talents are has been released by TV Guide. From season 1, there are Tiffani Faison and Steven Asprinio, the former of which almost won the competition against winner Harold Dieterle. Second season’s personality Marcel Vigneron will join his former peer Elia Aboumrad. From season 3, Casey Thompson and Dale Levitski would put their friendship to rest for a battle in the kitchen against Texan Tre Wilcox. Richard Blais from season 4 is reunited with Antonia Lofaso, Spike Mendelsohn and Dale Talde while fan favorite Fabio Viviani from season 5 is taking a second chance along with Jamie Lauren and Carla Hall. Representing 6th season are Jennifer Carroll and Mike Isabella; and fresh off the seventh season are Tiffany Derry and Angelo Sosa. “Because we know them, it’s very hard to criticize them. The good part is, it’s consistently better food,” said head judge Tom Colicchio who will be joined in the panel by Padma Lakshmi and occasionally by Anthony Bourdain.
If memory serves, Bravo did air a one-off special ep of previous Top Chef winners competing against one another but they’ve never done an All-Star grouping of fan favorites before. This new cast is full of some great competitors … which should make for a great season of TV watching. Oh yeah, there are a lot of big egos here … and quite a few beyotches. I am really looking forward to this new season. I don’t even know who I’d be rooting for right off the bat, there are so many of my faves included here. I still got mad love for Carla so … I think she’s my early fave. Last night a group of us got together on the rooftop at The London West Hollywood so that we could celebrate, again, David’s birthday. Because we had to postpone the early celebration last Saturday, we decided to host a belated birthday get together with friends last night to make up for it …
… and we had a blast. Yes, we look like the living dead in these photos but I can promise you, we had a blast. The food was good, the drinks were great and the company was superb. I think we’re finally done celebrating David’s birthday … so I hope he had a good one this year ;)
My dear friend Darion has finally returned home safe and sound from his extended vacation in Japan and we are planning to get together tonight to see an early screening of the new Ryan Reynolds film Buried. I am really looking forward to that. Another weekend is nearly upon us, can you believe it?

Yeah, I’m no yoga expert but it doesn’t really look like she’s doing it right. That being said, I bet someone will offer her a few thousand bucks to appear in a Guid-oga Work Out video any day now. Oy!
Along with the new judging panel, there will be some changes the competitive element of American Idol as well. There will be no guest mentors for the contestants, only Jimmy Iovine will be on hand as the sole mentor all season long. It sounds like the use of instruments will be amended … or taken out completely. The contestants will no longer be forced to perform songs outside of their genre of choice … the focus will be on decades of music rather than forcing the contestants to sing genre songs they aren’t comfortable with. There will be allowances for guest judges from time to time. And, most importantly, the show will go back to creating American Idols … which, except for Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, hasn’t happened on the show in a very long time. To be honest, I’m not impressed with these changes … nor with the new judging panel … but at least fans of the show can see that they are trying to fix the once very-popular show. It’s clear that American Idol is doing everything it can to try and revamp the show, to reinvigorate it with new life. I’m not sure they’ve done enough, to be quite honest, because I personally have no real interest watching … but I am not the target audience. It remains to be seen if any of these changes will help the show but Idol is facing the tough possibility that the changes may hurt the show further. With Simon Cowell launching The X Factor in competition with American Idol, there really isn’t that much room for more error … I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Yesterday we got our first look at a promo video for next week’s episode of Glee titled Britney/Brittany. As you may be well aware, that promo video was chock full of both Britney and Brittanyness. Today we get to see a batch of promo photos from the ep that feature neither Britney nor Brittany … but do give us our first look at new castmember John Stamos … behold:
These photos were posted to the official Facebook profile page … which means that we may have other promo photos to look forward to over the next few days. As much as I am ALL about the BRITNEYness of the ep, I’m glad to see that next week’s Britney Spears Episode will be fortified with a full storyline. We already know that the Britney performance scenes will be fantasies induced in the character’s brain by laughing gas in a dentist’s office (Stamos‘s character) so these promos give us a tease in that respect. We also see that Artie‘s quest to join the football team will continue in next week’s new ep. We are just 4 days away, people … just 4 more days :D
Lindsay Lohan may actually skate on a failed drug test … sources connected with the case tell TMZ. We’ve learned the second test Lindsay failed showed a positive reading for Adderall, but the L.A. County Probation Department is not recommending jail time for that violation — because there is an ambiguity in the paperwork that went from the court to the Probation Office. The Probation Department is recommending 30 days jail time for the first failed drug test which showed a positive reading for cocaine. Now here’s where it gets interesting … Judge Elden Fox has a couple of options on Friday. He could sentence Lindsay on the spot to 30 days in jail for the cocaine violation … but because of overcrowding Lindsay would be released the same day. Judge Fox’s other option is to deny her bail, throw her in jail and set a hearing that would take place 30 days later. Under this scenario, Lindsay would not be released early — she’d sit in jail for 30 days until her hearing. We’re told judges do this “all the time” when they want to make sure a defendant does the time.
I honestly cannot believe that Judge Fox would actually toss her into jail in a way that would allow for her immediate release … to me, that would be a gross miscarriage of justice. I sincerely hope that Judge Fox does the right thing and denies her bail and forces her to sit in jail for a full 30 days until her next hearing … that way, like it or not, she will be FORCED to go a month without access to any illegal substances OR any of the toxic people in her life that continue to enable her criminal and harmful behavior. I understand that both mother Dina Lohan and father Michael Lohan are planning to be in court tomorrow because heaven knows that neither one of them want to miss out on being seen at the spectacle of Lindsay‘s continued downfall. In the meantime, Lindsay will enjoy one last day of freedom today before she shows up in court tomorrow … I wonder what she plans to do with her rapidly dwindling freedom.
Paris Hilton was refused entry to Japan on Wednesday because of a drug conviction, immigration officials said. The American celebrity socialite was expected to head back to the United States late Wednesday afternoon. She had arrived in Japan on Tuesday and had been allowed to spend the night, to see whether immigration officials would reconsider their initial refusal to allow her entry. They stuck by their decision Wednesday, based on her having pleaded guilty to a drug charge earlier in the week in Las Vegas, Nevada. Japan generally denies entry to foreigners who are on probation. Hilton had traveled to Japan because of “business obligations planned many months earlier,” her spokesman said. “Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn’t want to let down her brands and many Asian fans,” the spokesman said. Hilton entered guilty pleas to misdemeanor charges of drug possession and obstruction of an officer, but a felony cocaine possession charge was dropped on Monday. She was sentenced to a year on probation, a $2,000 fine and 200 hours of community service … Hilton admitted in court Tuesday that a small amount of cocaine found in her pocketbook was hers.
At last … a punishment for Paris that has a little bite. It seems that Hilton is able to avoid paying any real penalties for her criminal behavior but Japan’s decision to expunge her from their country seems like a pretty effective punishment to me. Not only does it tell Paris that an entire country wants nothing to do with her but it also proves to be a HUGE embarrassment for her. Well done, Japan … well done. Again, it’s hard to feel sorry for someone who is able to fly around the world via private plane so I really feel no sympathy for poor little Paris Hilton. Maybe if she really understands that she needs to be punished for her crimes she’ll actually behave herself.
It appears to me that these photos were snapped earlier this year when the first batch of photos were taken and were just Photoshopped with a little color … after all, tighty whities are nice but who doesn’t like a little color sometimes? Okay … so we’ve seen the guys modeling white CK Undies and now we’ve seen them in colorful CK Undies … I wonder if we’ll get to see the guys modeling other kinds of CK Underwear … like THESE, perhaps. HMMM … I guess we’ll just have to wait for the next batch of promo photos to find out.
Dark, Dark, Dark … it’s gonna get real dark, y’all. Those of us who have read the books know what is coming next for the final chapters of the Harry Potter saga. As much as I hate the waiting, I’m very glad they decided to break the final EPIC book into 2 films so that the full story can be told properly in live action movie form. There are a few scenes in this new trailer that don’t look familiar to me, so I might have to reread the Harry Potter books to refresh my memory.
