Firelight To Replace Twilight? Posted: 22 Sep 2010 12:50 PM PDT Vampires are SOOO two months ago. Fire-breathing dragon-people are in. LOL! Mandalay Pictures just bought rights to Firelight, a trilogy by Sophie Jordan. The books are about a set of twin teenage sisters who are a part of the Draki race (a group that descended from dragons). One of the twins has the rare talent of fire-breathing and is the center of a "dark plan" to use her skill, so her mother takes the twins away to live among humans. This sounds silly, but let's be honest… it's not much different than vampires. What do U think about fire-breathing teens?

The Hoff Going To Tour Germany Posted: 22 Sep 2010 12:25 PM PDT While the Hoff couldn't cut it on the dance floor on Dancing with the Stars, he's taking his singing talents on the road. "I've got an hour and a half show waiting for me in a Riverside, [Calif.] resort casino, [then I] take a flight from America to Germany and do a tour there," said Hasselhoff. The Hoff took his elimination from Dancing with the Stars in stride, partly because of his daughters' support. "I wrote them a letter and said, 'Now if I don't make it, just remember I worked really hard — be proud of your dad,'" said Hasselhoff. "They said, 'We love you dad, no matter what.'" Even during the performance he kept his kids in mind. "I was looking at the kids in the audience and I said, "I don't want Kyle [Massey] to go out, don't want Kurt [Warner's} family to freak out,'" The Hoff continued. "I said, 'If I go out I go out.' I will walk to the next gig and bring cheers that I have been [getting] here… because that is all you can do in life is go for it!" The Voice Of Bart Simpson Getting Sued, Related To Fiance's Suicide Posted: 22 Sep 2010 12:10 PM PDT This is pretty creepy! The voice of Bart Simpson, Nancy Cartwright, is being sued because of financial indiscretions involving her ex fiance Stephen Brackett, who committed suicide. The American Safety Casualty Insurance Company claims that Brackett's construction company was hired to fix up a restaurant in 2008. He was issued an insurance policy for the project, but Nancy agreed to cover the costs if anything went wrong. ASCIC claims that Brackett only did some the work and "diverted contract funds" to the Church of Scientology, where he and Nancy were both members. When the project was halfway done, Brackett committed suicide and the company folded. The insurance company claims it had to put up $260,000 to complete the project and that Nancy will not cover the costs. Cartwright is being sued for the 260k and they're trying to get more out of her. Sad. [Image via WENN.]

Cher Says So Long To Sin City! Posted: 22 Sep 2010 11:50 AM PDT But thankfully, she is going straight on tour!!! Cher announced this morning that she has decided to end her epic three year gig at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. After almost 200 shows, Cher will bow out of the Colosseum on February 5th of next year, just as Celine Dion is poised to return to Sin City. Changing up the line up! Maybe she'll be back again one day. For now, we can't wait to see what she does with the tour! [Image via WENN.]
