TLC's band of bigamy show, Sister Wives, has stirred up a lot of conversation and controversy, the biggest of which is an extensive investigation against Kody Brown and his four wives. Should he and his ladies be found guilty of practicing polygamy (and we don't see how they couldn't be), the lot of them will be thrown in jail. But don't worry, the Wowza! Now, in all seriousness, who's going to watch those 13 kids if they all go to prison? It's them we're really concerned about! |
| Mariah Carey Arrives in L.A….In A Wheelchair Posted: 29 Sep 2010 12:40 PM PDT We know that you had a very minor accident on stage, but if we recall correctly, it was very minor. Mimoo has returned to the U.S., and she was wheeled to her car when she arrived at LAX. We're really not sure exactly why she needed a wheelchair. Sure, she tripped during her concert in Singapore, but she immediately got back up and made it through the rest of her performance…completely barefoot. Perhaps she had a severely delayed more serious reaction to her minor on-stage fall? Why do U think Mariah chose to use a wheelchair upon her arrival in Los Angeles? Nigel Lythgoe, who has returned to American Idol to oversee it's downfall, tweeted out this picture of the new Idol crew settling into the gig. Looks like Randy Jackson had taken over the coveted Simon Cowell seat, Steven Tyler gets comfortable in the dawgs old chair and Jennifer Lopez is sandwiched in-between, just as our beloved Abdrool once did. Throw in Ryan Seacrest and Nigel for good measure and you have a pretty good glimpse of what is to come from the new season of Idol - a whole lot of nothing. Zzzzz…. [Image via WENN.] |
| Judge Wants To Simply End Simplify Anna Nicole Case Posted: 29 Sep 2010 12:20 PM PDT Is this still going on? Really?! Just let the woman rest in peace and throw these schmucks in jail already! A judge overseeing the Anne Nicole Smith trial has requested that prosecutors simplify their proposal charging drug conspiracy charges against Anna's doctors and boyfriend, insisting that the jurors are having trouble understanding the complex case. Does anyone really understand it?! After reviewing the lengthy complaint, Superior Court Judge Robert Perry asked prosecutors: "Are you trying to impress the jury with so many charges or abuse the jury?… I think it hurts your case when you complicate it." True. Housewives and retiree's know only enough legal jargon to get them through an episode of CSI. Can't expect much more than that. [Image via WENN.] |

| FAIL! Maroon 5 Beaten By Zac Brown Band Posted: 29 Sep 2010 12:00 PM PDT Looks like they couldn't land the #1 spot! Ouch! Maroon 5 was beaten out by Zac Brown Band, who bowed at #1 on the Billboard 200, with You Get What You Give, which marks their first chart-topping album. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Zac Brown's new album sold 153,000 copies, while Maroon 5's Hands All Over sold 142,000. Better luck next time, we suppose!
