I'm actually loving Rihanna's new album cover.  It's giving sex appeal without her being naked.  Shocker...I know.  Rih's fifth album hits shelves on November 16.  And she already has a hit single off it, with “Only Girl (In the World)” sitting at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Kanye West released a new single "Lost In The World."  Check it out here:

What did you think?

Bishop Eddie Long Chronicles: One Accuser Speaks Out!

Posted: 28 Sep 2010 06:14 PM PDT

And the plot thickens! One of the four young men accusing Bishop Eddie Long for sexual misconduct is speaking out about his love-hate relationship with a man he called "daddy"...and how the Bishop used scripture to justify sex. Hear what he had to say when you read on...

<!--break-->

Jamal Parris has decided to get his story heard after Bishop Eddie Long's address to his congregation. Jamal is the 3rd plaintiff who filed a lawsuit against Bishop Long for engaging in sexual misconduct when Jamal was just a teen. Jamal was a bit hesitant at first, but once he started talking, he let it all out.  In a dark parking lot:

According to MyFox 5 Atlanta, Jamal said he can't ever forget the smell of Eddie Long's cologne and trying to get the smell off of his body:

Parris claims in his lawsuit the father-like figure used scripture to justify sex. And he lavished money, cars, jewelry, trips in the Bishop's private jet, even homes on the teens, sometimes with funds from the church coffers.

"You finally have a father that you've always wanted for and always dreamed of," Parris said. "He would just walk away from you if you don't give him what he wants. So you end up turning into something you never thought you would be, which is now a slave to a man that you love."
As he claimed in his lawsuit, Jamal says the bishop began a slow sexual seduction, which became more intimate and more intense after the young boys became of legal age.

"So, while the media and the rest of the people around the city, around the country look at us like how could grown men let another man touch him, what you have to understand is this man has manipulated us since childhood," Parris explained. "This was our father and we loved him."
"This man turned his back on us when he had no more need for us," Parris said. "That's not a father, that's a predator."
Parris says he attempted to resolve the matter privately with the bishop, but when that didn't work, lawsuits were filed identifying the young men accusing the bishop.

"We would have to be the craziest kids in the world to want to come out and admit to another man touching on us publicly," said Parris. "To really believe this is about money would be absolutely ludicrous."

He says he loved Bishop Long, but he can't escape the nightmare of what he says Long did to him as a young man.

"I cannot get the sound of his voice out of my head," said Parris. "I cannot forget the smell of his cologne.  And I cannot forget the way that he made me cry many nights when I drove in his car on the way home, not able to take enough showers to wipe the smell of him off of my body."

WOW.  This ish is getting deeper by the minute.

Naomi Campbell Covers GQ Russia + Delonte West Answers Questions About LeBron's Mom

Posted: 28 Sep 2010 04:58 PM PDT

Naomi Campbell looks stunning in the latest issues of GQ Russia, plus Delonte West answers questions about LeBron James' momma when you go inside....

<!--break-->

Gorgeous layout of Miss Campbell.   I feel like she hasn't changed for the last 20 something years.

During his Celtics homecoming Delonte West seemed at ease during media day.  Reporters were told only to ask questions pertaining to basketball, even though this was West’s first interview in more than a year.  However, one reporter from a local radio station asked West if he had an intimate relationship with Gloria James, the mother of two-time Most Valuable Player and former teammate LeBron James.

West took a deep breath, stared the reporter in the eye, and said, "Not at all. I come from an era where you don’t say nothing bad about someone’s parent, so not at all.’’

West is back in Boston where he will serve a 10-game suspension beginning Oct. 26 after pleading guilty to carrying three guns and two knifes while on a motorcycle in suburban Washington, D.C.

As for James, well....it wasn't completely believable how he worded that he didn't tap it.  So I guess we won't get the answer to that question until Gloria wants some attention.

YOUNG MONEY NEWS: Drake Investigated For Battery After Scuffle With Fans!+Weezy's New Letter

Posted: 28 Sep 2010 03:42 PM PDT

Seems like getting into it with your fans is the thing to do these days.  Drake is the latest rapper to be involved in a scuffle with a fan.  Why he and his bodyguard just copped a battery charge, plus Lil Wayne's new letter from Rikers, when you read on...

<!--break-->

When Drake rolled in to Jacksonville, FL last week, a fan said she "was just trying to congratulate Drake on all his success" when Drake's bodyguard punched her friend.

The fans claims they just called Drake's name, and Drake's bodyguard popped off and punched him in the face.  The fan ended up in the hospital, so now he's suing Drake and the bodyguard for battery.  And he wants his medical bill covered.

The female fan claims Drake flipped her off when he was walking back to his tour bus.  Well damn.

In other Young Money news, Lil Wayne just released another letter from behind bars at Rikers.  He talks about feeling "ancient" now that he's 28, missing his kids, only listening to slow jams and ESPN, and even a marriage proposal.  Here it is in full:

What’z poppin!

I hope that you all are well and as always, thank you thank you thank you for the endless love and support. I think by the time you all read this I’ll be 28 years old… feeling ancient in this b#tch! On that note, I do encourage you young people to enjoy your youth. And for the old heads like me, enjoy your life. Everyday!

As for me, I’m good. Awaiting freedom patiently. People often ask does the days feel longer now that the time is getting shorter… I say that there’s 24 hours in everyday. But honestly, I can’t fxckin’ wait! Sorry. Anyway, I’m still playing UNO. Still doing pushups and such, by the way, please don’t expect me to come out looking any different. I’m the same little ‘ol me. Also, I’ve been trying to get as much rest as I can because I know I won’t when I’m out of here. Wait, Aaliyah’s “Let Me Know” just came on the radio! “At your best, you are love”… and I try to always be at my best, for you.

I only listen to slow jams and ESPN. Shoutout to Keith Stewart and Dr. Bob Lee on WBLS, and Lenny Green on KISSfm. That’s all I listen to, other than sports. Oh and if you haven’t heard the new song by Eric Benet, “Sometimes I Cry”, please stop what you’re doing and check it out. Well, after you finish reading this. It’s the best song I’ve heard since Maxwell’s “Woman’s Worth”. It’s for grown folk. I actually listen to the radio all day waiting for that song. Anyway, so back to my fans, you are the best in the world. When reading those letters, you never cease to amaze me with your love. I am forever grateful.

So my kids are perfect. I miss them like crazy! Reginaé, you are the angel of my life. Kam, you are amazing. Neal, you are my little wonderful meatball. And Lil Tunechi Jr., you are so me. City, I am so you! I love my family and I thank them for the support during this time. It’s almost over. To my YMCM family, you are the fxckin’ best! Uhh Nik, I am jealous of you and Drizzy, but it’s cool! Ha ha. I miss you all and keep killin’ ‘em. I love y’all.

To everyone who’s come to visit me. I thank you for that, graciously. It means a lot. Well I’ll end this letter but never my love. Speaking of love… Mr. Chris Kyle, will you marry Ms. Ashalee Albarr??? Now that was cool. Well I hope y’all got my new album ‘I Am Not A Human Being’. It’s great, like every one of you. Peace.

P.S. … you’re mines.

Looks like their romance has officially been taken off-screen....

President Obama Chats It Up With Rolling Stone+Beyonce Crashes Her In-Laws' Block Party

Posted: 28 Sep 2010 12:27 PM PDT

President Barack Obama is covering the pages of the new Rolling Stone mag.  And he's proving while he's still a political rock star.  Despite the non-stop hate.  We have his quotes about choking up when he thinks about his wife, which rappers are on his iPod, his thoughts on Fox News, and more.

Those quotes, plus video of Beyonce dancing it up at a Jersey block party yesterday when you read on...

<!--break-->

What has surprised you the most about these first two years in office? What advice would you give your successor about the first two years?

Over the past two years, what I probably anticipated but you don't fully appreciate until you're in the job, is something I said earlier, which is if a problem is easy, it doesn't hit my desk. If there's an obvious solution, it never arrives here — somebody else has solved it a long time ago. The issues that cross my desk are hard and complicated, and oftentimes involve the clash not of right and wrong, but of two rights. And you're having to balance and reconcile against competing values that are equally legitimate.

What I'm very proud of is that we have, as an administration, kept our moral compass, even as we've worked through these very difficult issues. Doesn't mean we haven't made mistakes, but I think we've moved the country in a profoundly better direction just in the past two years.

What do you think of Fox News? Do you think it's a good institution for America and for democracy?
[Laughs] Look, as president, I swore to uphold the Constitution, and part of that Constitution is a free press. We've got a tradition in this country of a press that oftentimes is opinionated. The golden age of an objective press was a pretty narrow span of time in our history. Before that, you had folks like Hearst who used their newspapers very intentionally to promote their viewpoints. I think Fox is part of that tradition — it is part of the tradition that has a very clear, undeniable point of view. It's a point of view that I disagree with. It's a point of view that I think is ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country that has a vibrant middle class and is competitive in the world. But as an economic enterprise, it's been wildly successful. And I suspect that if you ask Mr. Murdoch what his number-one concern is, it's that Fox is very successful.

What music have you been listening to lately? What have you discovered, what speaks to you these days?
My iPod now has about 2,000 songs, and it is a source of great pleasure to me. I am probably still more heavily weighted toward the music of my childhood than I am the new stuff. There's still a lot of Stevie Wonder, a lot of Bob Dylan, a lot of Rolling Stones, a lot of R&B, a lot of Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Those are the old standards.

A lot of classical music. I'm not a big opera buff in terms of going to opera, but there are days where Maria Callas is exactly what I need.

Thanks to Reggie [Love, the president's personal aide], my rap palate has greatly improved. Jay-Z used to be sort of what predominated, but now I've got a little Nas and a little Lil Wayne and some other stuff, but I would not claim to be an expert. Malia and Sasha are now getting old enough to where they start hipping me to things. Music is still a great source of joy and occasional solace in the midst of what can be some difficult days.

And when he was asked if he cried when aul McCartney sang "Michelle" to his wife a little while back, he responded:

Whenever I think about my wife, she can choke me up. My wife and my kids, they'll get to me.

How sweet!  He talks about more politically targeted issues at the source.

Source

In other news, Beyonce crashed her in-laws' block party.  No, for real.  She hit West Orange, New Jersey yesterday to visit Jay-Z's mom.  And she decided to join in the dancing and partying with the neighbors at their block party.  It was all caught on tape, and the neighbors loved it:

Fun times!

Father Of Alleged Eddie Long Victim Speaks Out

Posted: 28 Sep 2010 11:35 AM PDT

The father of one of Bishop Eddie Long's accusers is speaking out.  And he admits to seeing red flags in the past--when his son first met the Bishop at the age of 15.

The father's side of the story when you read on...

<!--break-->

The father of Spencer LeGrande, the young male from New Birth's satellite church in Charlotte who filed the fourth lawsuit against Eddie Long, says he's extrememly hurt by the accusations.  Even though father Eddie LeGrande admits he lost touch with his son a few years ago, he realized that Spencer looked to Eddie like a father:

"He was doing all these things for him. I couldn't compete," LeGrande said in a phone interview Friday. "He would call him dad in front of me. That would hurt me."

Wow.  Eddie LeGrande says that he lost contact with Spencer when he was a baby, but they found each other again when Spencer was 11.  But in the recent few years, Eddie LeGrande says Bishop came between them.

"He never told me. He never gave me a clue," said Eddie LeGrande, 55, a furniture store worker in Greensboro, N.C.

But looking back, he said, "There were red flags." The trips, the gifts, the attention, he said.

"I'm very upset about it," he said. "I'm very hurt about it. I'm very hurt for my son." If the accusations are true, he said, "I think he should be banned from his church. I think he should do jail time, and he should pay the victims for the hurt. He should be used as an example."

Spencer moved to Atlanta suddenly during the alleged tryst with the Bishop.  But Spencer just moved back to North Carolina last year.  And Eddie LeGrande says he wondered why he abruptly moved back.  And now, he knows.

Kelly Rowland Gets FAB For Complex Magazine

Posted: 28 Sep 2010 09:58 AM PDT

Kelly Rowland donned her black, feathers, and lace for her new shoot with COMPLEX mag.  The flicks and what she had to say about her dominating her men when you read on...

<!--break-->

Pics of Ms. Rowland keeping it sexy...but classy:

Fabulous.

And here's a snippet of her interview with the mag as she's the new Hot Complex girl:

Has being in Europe so much changed your taste in men?
Kelly Rowland: Oh no, honey. For me, it's just about a very confident guy and someone who I can have fun with.

How confident? Does it matter who's dominant in the relationship?
Kelly Rowland: No. As a matter of fact, because I am so dominant and I am a control freak, I would go out on dates, order, pull out my own chair, and I would never see that guy again. [Laughs.]

Damn, they were that intimidated?
Kelly Rowland: I don't even think it's intimidating. I had a problem with letting a guy be a man. I don't have that problem anymore. I think it's incredibly sexy when a man is just a man. From his walk to the way he talks and the way he carries himself. It's not even swag—that word is so old—it's just about having that…thang. It's got to be so right. They are so cute when they have a smile and that makes it even sexier to me. A smile is everything.

How do you have fun?
Kelly Rowland: Bowling. I am good at bowling! Well, every other time I'm good at bowling. And I can whoop up on him on a game of golf on the Wii. I'm really good at that. But, you know what I love? Polos on guys. I don't know if it's a Southern girl thing—

Never pegged Kelly as the dominating type.  But it's always the quiet ones...
