| Mel Gibson And Ex-Wife Robin Close To Divorce Settlement Posted: 30 Sep 2010 01:00 PM PDT This is the least of his problems! Mel Gibson and his wife of 30-years Robyn are close to a settlement regarding their divorce case. Lance Spiegel, Mel's Lawyer, has submitted a property settlement proposal to Robyn's attorney, Laura Wasser. Wasser says that she will know next month if Robyn accepts the offer, but she is "optimistic" as the divorce was amicable. Can't say that about Oksana! [Image via WENN.] |
| Britney's Conservatorship Continues! Posted: 30 Sep 2010 12:50 PM PDT If it ain't broke, why try and fix it? Brit Brit was back in court this morning to review her father Jamie's conservatorship over her personal and financial matters, and Judge Reva Goetz has decided to have it continue for the time being. The pop star and her father both met with the judge separately in closed chambers to discuss the matter, and Goetz reveals:

| Posted: 30 Sep 2010 12:40 PM PDT We're speechless. NBC has ordered a pilot of the remake of The Munsters and signed on creator of Pushing Daisies, Bryan Fuller. The series is being described as Modern Family meets True Blood. Guillermo del Toro is rumored to be attached to the project. This sounds crazy! We can't imagine a riskier series to relaunch, but Bryan Fuller and Pushing Daisies are great, so we have hope! Do U think the remake will be any good? [Image via WENN.] |

The platinum singer begins in Baltimore, Maryland and will hit 50 cities before ending August 30th in Anahiem, CA. Additional dates will be announced soon. Amazing. Broadway musical Rock of Ages will be getting an unusual addition to the cast very soon, as Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider will be making his Broadway debut in the musical as the character Dennis for an 11-week run, starting October 11th! On top of that, the rock star is set to host a series of weekly, post-show Q&A's with various guests and actors from the musical! The 'Rock Senate Hearings' begin Tuesday, October 19th! Girls Aloud members Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh were on hand to support their bandmate, Cheryl Tweedy, at the launch party for her new capsule ring collection, Promise, in Londontown last night, and we think they all look absolutely FABOOSH! | Katie Couric May Make Awkward Return To Today Show Posted: 30 Sep 2010 12:00 PM PDT Well, this is going to be a disappointment for whoever orchestrated Katie Couric's Farewell Party when she first left the Today show. All that work for nothing! It looks like Katie Couric may leave the CBS Evening News when her contract is up at the end of May, and she may return to her old stomping grounds…NBC's Today show. Couric has also been in touch with Time Warner chairman Jeff Bewkes. If Today doesn't work out, maybe they'd have a home for her at CNN, which is part of the Time Warner empire. | Nick Lachey Gives Reality TV Another Go! Posted: 30 Sep 2010 11:50 AM PDT Sometimes, we flick through the mutiple VH1 endorsed channels, hoping for a glimpse of the show Newlyweds. You remember - Jessica Simpson would be saying something endearingly stoopid, while Nick Lachey would lounge about the house, constipated with jealousy and envy over his wife's success. It really was a great show. Now, these two fragmented 90s performers are just trying desperately to get back to what they once were. Jessica has done decently for herself, but Nick hasn't done much since he released an album dedicated to hating on his ex-wife, which is the only reason anyone bought it in the first place. But fear not, because Nick is looking to get back into the reality game. A source close to Nick reveals that VH1 is welcoming him back into the fold with open arms, developing a show based on Nick trying to revive his music carer. The source explains:
Sure, why not! The rode his coattails all through the 90s. Why should anything change?! One face you won't see too often That's what went wrong the last time, remember? Hell if Nick is going to be upstaged by his beautiful babe this time! Good luck with it Nick, but we'll stick to reruns of Newlyweds.
