Jay-Z Compares Willow Smith To Michael Jackson When He Was A Child! Posted: 09 Sep 2010 01:10 PM PDT We have a feeling Jay-Z is on to something with this charming little girl! Nine year old Willow Smith only just released her first single, Whip My Hair, earlier in the week, and has already landed a record deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation. The two made an appearance this morning On Air With Ryan Seacrest, and the rap superstar even went as far as to compare his latest find to Michael Jackson when he was a child! He said: I heard the record first before I even knew that it was recorded by a 9 year old. I was like "Man, that record is a smash." And then Jay Brown told me that she was nine and I was like "Whoa!" Then they told me that it was Will and Jada's daughter and I was like "Whoa Whoa!" Then I was in Japan doing some things and they were all in Japan so I met Willow and she walked in and the first thing she says was "I'm really nervous." I thought that maturity, explaining exactly how she was feeling when she walked in the room, I knew right then that she is a star. I believe in Superstars. I believe in big records and big superstars and I believe that she has both! She's a child, she has child's innocence but she has a clear vision of what she wants and who she wants to be. I can only imagine that's how Mike (Michael Jackson) was as a young kid, he knew exactly what he wanted. I believe that you have to start somewhere. When you have that sort of talent and you have that sort of vision then there is no such thing as too young. Again, I heard the record without knowing who it was, it's a hit record! If you listen to anyone, if you listen to any comments, everyone says that they can't believe, as adults, that they like a record that is made by a 9 year old. But we all dance to Michael Jackson records from when he was 8 years old. Stevie Wonder started at 8. It's just what it is, it's who she is. We agree! There's no denying it - this girl has TALENT! It's been five years since Canadian crazy Aretha Wilson allegedly slashed Leonardo DiCaprio's face with a piece of broken glass, but today marks the beginning of the end for this woman! Though she pleaded not guilty today in El Lay to a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon, we're confident that justice will prevail and she won't be considered innocent for much longer. Leo has made it clear that he has no problem testifying against his glass-wielding attacker and on October 13th, he'll get his change as the case goes to trial. Husband Jay-Z cleared out a Chelsea restaurant and hosted an intimate party for Beyoncé's 29th. Alicia Keys, Serena Williams, Kanye West, and Sean "Diddy"Combs all showed up to toast Beyoncé. DJ Cassidy provided the music. The couple was reportedly very affectionate all night, and Jay brought her a six-layer cake. The festivities didn't stop until 6 a.m. Sounds incredible! Sources are reporting that the police showed up at the home of Floyd Mayweather Jr. this morning after responding to a call from Floyd's baby mama, Josie Harris. Josie claimed that her boxer boyfriend attacked her in his home, before being taken to Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas. The fact that he would do this to her is awful…if it is actually true. This chick has a history of crying wolf when it comes to Floyd. Back in 2003, she told the police that he punched and kicked her while they were driving in his Bentley, but later revealed she was lying. She apparently was just trying to get revenge after she had found out he had left her for another woman. So, is this round 2 or has Floyd really flown off the handle? [Image via WENN.]

Disney/Pixar To Bring You Dr. Strange Flick? Posted: 09 Sep 2010 11:50 AM PDT It's about time people start talking about Disney's latest acquisition. What's the point of buying Marvel Comics if you aren't going to make any movies?! Comic book artist Brendan McCarthy suggested in a recent interview that Disney's first Marvel flick out of the gate could be a CGI Doctor Strange movie in collaboration with Pixar. The artist explains his meeting with Disney execs to discuss the adaptation: "I was over in Hollywood earlier this year mooching about, and I had a meeting at Disney and the conversation drifted around to Pixar animating a Doctor Strange movie… Now, wouldn't that be nice." Sure, if the story is good. Plus, we have a hard time seeing the Pixar people getting into doing a strictly superhero movie. Ya know, they are more about the whole family-friendly angle and not everyone is going to love the tale of the unusual, super human magician. But we imagine Pixar is up to the technical challenges. What do U think?
