Spencer Pratt Arrested In Costa Rica!! Posted: 12 Sep 2010 12:04 PM PDT BwaHAHAHA!! Why does this not surprise us?? Spencer Pratt was arrested in Costa Rica over the weekend on a felony firearm possession charge. He was sent to a local jail, but was released after turning in his weapons and a signed confession. Of course, Spencer wasted no time in making some sort of whacked-out statement to the public: "As part of my spiritual cleansing I've spent the last week living alone in the jungle, reflecting on my past transgressions, and working to become a better person. I had to live off the land, and hunt to survive. As I departed the country this morning to continue my spiritual journey, I mistakenly brought my hunting weapons to the airport. It was an honest mistake, and they sent me on my way. On an unrelated note, I'm not allowed in the country anymore — but that's because of the chicken incident." Living alone in the jungle?? Living off the land?? More like vacationing at Heidi's Costa Rican villa. He later tweeted: Arrested in Costa Rica. If I knew the gov't was Team Jacob, I wouldve kept my mouth shut. Their new daughter Gia Francesca Lopez weighed 6 lbs, 4 oz. and was born in Burbank, Calif. Mario said, "We are so overjoyed. Rapper Petey Pablo Arrested On Gun Charges Posted: 12 Sep 2010 08:20 AM PDT Tsk Tsk. Rapper Petey Pablo was arrested on Saturday at a North Carolina airport after he allegedly tried to sneak a gun in his carry-on luggage. The 37-year-old rapper, whose real name is Moses Barrett III, was on his way to Los Angeles to the VMAs, but was stopped at airport security. He's been charged with being a felon with a gun and carrying a concealed, stolen weapon. He was released on $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday. Not good. Not good at all. Sources have learned that Rihanna won't be able to make it to the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, since she is in Hawaii filming Battleship. It wouldn't be such a big deal, except the Em is poised to sing their hit duet Love The Way You Lie. It's going to be a little hard without her, don't cha think?! But RiRi is committed to her gig on the film and wishes the rapper luck on his performance. She told sources: "I definitely wish I could be there for Eminem. He's performing the song we did together. It would have been nice to do it, but he understands. Obviously right now I'm doing something that is a priority to me. The VMAs will be there next year. I'll have a lot more music out by then." Well then, if RiRi isn't performing with Eminem, then who will?! This opens doors to some amazing collaborations. Lots of big name talents are going to be there for him to work with. Florence & The Machine Is Recreating Her Music Video For VMAs! Posted: 12 Sep 2010 07:20 AM PDT This sounds so effing rad. Florence + The Machine is set to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards tonight, and she's revealed that she plans to re-create the music video's coolest special effect for her live performance of Dog Days Are Over! She reveals: "What we're trying to do is kind of encapsulate the video into a live performance. Basically, the whole thing is just me arranging flowers, and then a load of people around me spontaneous combust, and that's it. It's going to be great. It's sort of energy and chaos. There's people, like, actually physically exploding in the video, and hopefully that won't happen. If everyone's really into it, that's fine with me, but we haven't planned it. The machine for the actual show is something kind of different - the machine is never supposed to be my band. It's kind of everything and nothing."
