Ian McKellan WILL Return As Gandalf In The Hobbit! Posted: 13 Sep 2010 01:00 PM PDT We've been burnt with Hobbit-related announcements so many times….we will NOT be happy if we have to announce that Sir Ian McKellan drops out of the project next month. Assuming nothing changes which is a huge assumption, Sir Ian will reprise his Lord Of The Rings role Gandalf in The Hobbit. Here's what McKellan had to say about the shoot start date: "The aim is to start filming in January." We've heard news like this before. Are U excited to see Ian McKellan return as Gandalf? Taylor Swift Was Freaked Out To Perform Kanye Song At VMAs! Posted: 13 Sep 2010 12:50 PM PDT We don't blame her! That Kanye can be rather unpredictable, to say the least! Taylor Swift rocked the VMAs last night with her song, Innocent - which was allegedly her response to Kanye West's stage-crashing incident at last year's ceremony - but the country cutie was reportedly freaking out before she went on because she was nervous about how the rapper would react! A source explains: "Taylor was a nervous wreck before she hit the stage last night. She knew Kanye was in the building and was terrified and praying that he wouldn't pull another stunt. Taylor rejected Kanye's offer to sing a song he wrote about the entire stage-storming incident and had no idea how he would react to the song she wrote and performed about him." Love thought it would be a good idea to cover Lady GaGa's Bad Romance at one of her concerts recently. Strangely enough, her performance echoed that of another crusty old man who dared to try and cover an iconic Gagalicious song. We suppose C. Love is slightly more bearable. While walking the red carpet at one of the post-VMA forays, Michael confirmed the relationship to sources, calling her "my girl" and revealing that he actually likes her abrasive personality! Dr. Drew apparently thinks that after all of the Lindsanity, the reformed hard-pAArtying wacktress is finally on the proper road to recovery! He says: "Yes, I think she has finally made the right turn. I am very hopeful that she gets a lot of help and a lot of work. You look at the behaviour of young Hollywood and start seeing judgment and disdain and that's not a very healthy outlook… Focus on your own kids and talk to them about what they are watching out there." An insider said: "She was angling for an overall deal at Fox, including a put picture, to keep her movie career going. But Fox said no. I think it was just positioning. In the end, she didn't turn up her nose up at $12 million." Lopez is delaying the official announcement until late September to coincide with the release of her new single. Little Sister Of Cheating Soccer Player's Wife Suffers A Stroke! Posted: 13 Sep 2010 11:50 AM PDT As if this poor woman hasn't been through enough! Coleen Rooney, wife of cheating dirtbag and Manchester United player Wayne Rooney, is reportedly by her sister Rosie McLoughin's side in intensive care after the 12 year old suffered a stroke! Rosie allegedly suffers from Rett Syndrome, which is a brain disorder, and Coleen has put her marriage on hold to be there for her younger sibling! A source reveals: 'Poor Coleen is in absolute turmoil. She knows it will take a lot of time to work things out with Wayne, and she has an awful lot of thinking to do. But with Rosie in such a bad away, she has to be her priority. Obviously she's thinking about Wayne too, but Rosie has to come first. This has all happened at the worst possible time, but Coleen is coping with it. We all know she's a strong person - she had to be the last time there were stories about Wayne seeing prostitutes, but this has really impressed her family and friends. Wayne is desperate for things to get back to normal with Coleen but he knows how close she is to Rosie. He's known her since she was tiny and in normal circumstances he would have been at the hospital with the family. But at the moment even if Coleen wanted him there, her parents certainly don't. They think she's mad to consider forgiving him and it will be a long time before they're all sitting down to Sunday lunch together.' Absolutely heart-wrenching. We reported a few months back that director Ridley Scott was returning to the Alien franchise to work on a prequel to his smash horror film, and now it looks as though he may have found his leading lady! Prince of Persia actress Gemma Arterton has revealed that the director has approached her for a potential role in the film! She reveals: "The honest truth is that Ridley Scott has approached me to meet with him about something in the next few weeks. He saw Alice Creed and loved it. Maybe I'll be playing an alien! I wouldn't mind that, actually. I like dressing up. That's why I became an actor in the first place." LOLs! She sounds adorable! But we have a feeling gurlfriend is going to be stepping into Sigourney Weaver's old shoes! The film just wouldn't be the same without a Ripley-esque heroine showing those alien fuckers what's what!
