The 32-year-old British actor recently replaced Michael Fassbander in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy as a British operative pal of protagonist George Smiley (Gary Oldman). The flick will be helmed by Let The Right One In director Tomas Alfredson. There isn’t a hotter man in Hollywood right now!  |
| Former LFO Member Rich Cronin Dies at 35 Posted: 08 Sep 2010 05:29 PM PDT  Rich Cronin, a former member of the boy band LFO, has passed away after a lengthy battle with leukemia. The 35-year-old singer, who wrote the band’s biggest hit, “Summer Girls,” scored a platinum single back in 1999. Friends including former *NSYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick sent their condolences. “Rip to a great friend,” Chris wrote simply. Lance Bass also weighed in, calling Rich “an amazing guy”. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rich’s family during this difficult time.  |

Posted: 08 Sep 2010 03:40 PM PDT  Former pro football player Eric Johnson wraps his arms around his lady love Jessica Simpson while celebrating the launch of her jeanswear line and sneak peek of her spring 2011 collection at her New York City showroom on Tuesday night (September 7). “I am so excited to share my new denim line with everyone!" the 30-year-old designer said about her eponymous and hugely successful collection. “It is comfortable, affordable and trend-right. I am already wearing them and loving them!” Jessica styled her friends and family for the event — lil sis Ashlee Simpson, BFF Cacee Cobb, her former backup dancer and hairstylist Jessie Holiday, singer/songwriter Stephanie Pearson, interior designer Kathy Sykora (she’s working on Jessica’s closet right now), Lauren Zelman (she works on the collection with Jessica), makeup artist Lynn Simpson (no relation), TV producer Christie Pliler and her publicist Lauren Auslander. It’s an amazing life, but we always remind ourselves of how incredibly lucky we are.” On having more children: “Maybe in a couple of years, but right now I want to make sure I’m really there for Suri. I’m the youngest in my family-my closest sister is 5 years older than me, and the next one is nine years ahead of me, so I was a bit of an only child, and I liked it! | Angelina Jolie Speaks Out Against Quran Burning Posted: 08 Sep 2010 10:10 AM PDT  Angelina Jolie has spoken out about a Florida church’s threat to burn copies of the Quran to mark the anniversary of the September 11 attacks. “I have hardly the words that somebody would do that to somebody’s religious book,” the 35-year-old actress shared while on a trip to Pakistan to raise awareness about the disastrous floods. Angie also spoke out about the floods and the lack of media attention about the devastation. “There’s lots of speculation about why this one has not gotten the attention it deserves,” she shared. “Even all of the wonderful coverage … is not getting the response that usually it’s able to get.”  |

The 45-year-old journalist will host a “candid, in-depth newsmaker interview program” beginning in January. “I have watched Larry King Live for much of the last 25 years, and dreamed of one day filling the legendary suspenders of the man I consider to be the greatest TV interviewer of them all,” Piers said. Larry hosted Larry King Live beginning back in 1985 and announced over the summer that he’d end his nightly show but continue to work at CNN.  |
