Kanye West has been in better spirits lately. Dropping new music every Friday, coming out of hiding to attend Fashion Week, and giving impromptu performances at various events. Read about his latest impromptu 3 a.m. performance, rumors that Taylor Swift will debut a song about Kanye during tonight's VMAs and video of Waka Flocka sounding like a complete idiot...

Kanye West is still doing impromptu concerts and performing new singles in anticipation of his new album. He shook up Fashion Week by perfoming an unannounced show at New York City's The Standard Hotel Thursday night at 3am. Those lucky enough to see him perform, including Naomi Campbell, got to see Kanye stand on top of the bar and belt out a few tracks.

Speaking of Kanye...with the 2010 MTV VMAs less than 24 hrs away, people are speculating what antics he might have up his sleeve. While we all would love to NEVER hear about the Kanye/Swift moment again, seems like chick won't let it go, despite several apologizes. Sources say Taylor Swift will sing about how Yeezy nearly ruined her win last year.

SMH. MTV loves drama. They found a great target, Kanye is too unstable for them not to capitalize on the moment. I hope this ends pretty.

In FOOLYWANG news, Waka Flocka just proved why you stay in school or at least finish junior high. He recently hit up "106 & Park" and spoke to Terrence and Rosci about education and voting. He also mentioned he wanted to go to college for Geometry. Huh? I didn't even realize you could major in that. Check the vid.

As if the streets of Soho aren't already crazy enough this weekend with all the Fashion Week festivities in the trendy shopping district, Beyonce and Jay-Z decided to have a little Saturday afternoon lunch there yesterday.

A fresh faced Bey rocked her usual sky high heels and some short shorts, a white tee and a cardigan. While her hubby rocked his usual white graphic tee and jeans as they left out of Lure Sushi Bar.

Bey and her MCM bag hopped in their jeep and left the crowds.

Jermaine Dupri joined ASCAP and Ocean's 7 to present the 2010 MTV VMA Weekend Kickoff Party, a pre-VMA celebration honoring ASCAP's 2010 VMA Nominees and we have pics...

The event, which was sponsored by Belvedere Vodka for the night, brought out celebs including Aaron Quentin, Anthony Hamilton, singer Dondria, and Johnny Gill amongst others.

New R&B sensation Dondria hit the red carpet in blue.

Lincoln Center is the place to be in New York City right now. Celebs dotted the front row of fashion shows yesterday and today and we have the pics...

The second day (Friday) of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week featured lots of designers and even more celebrities.

Yesterday, Kanye West attended the Phillip Lim Men's Show. Lim dressed the rapper in a dapper black suit and blush shirt with a black boutonnière pinned to his lapel. They posed together for a polaroid.

Kelly Rowland seems to be at every fashion show this week. She hit up the BCBG Max Azria Spring 2011 show and posed with the pint sized designer in her color- blocked belted BCBG MaxAzria dress.

Dania looked subtly sexy in a pink sculptural George Chakra dress and metallic and black sandals.

Kelly Rowland also donned an outfit from the designer's collection. Loving the sleeveless embroidered top.

Desiree Rogers, current CEO of Johnson Publishing Company, showed up to the Jason Wu show.

Fashion icon Grace Jones nabbed a front row seat at the Alexander Berardi show.

"Stand Up To Cancer" Telethon Brings Out The Stars

An impressive line up of recording artists, actors and athletes arrived for the "Stand Up to Cancer" telethon on Friday to help collect donations from the public to support cancer research and raise awareness. Read on for the pics...

Stevie Wonder and a multitude of celebs pulled at the heartstrings of viewers during the "Stand Up 2 Cancer" telethon Friday. Stars hit phones at the Culver City, California studio headquarters for the event.

Actor Donald Faison came to show support.

Herbie Hancock posed for a pic.

NBA player Jason Maxiell and his wife Brandi, an ovarian cancer survivor, also came to support the telethon. Brandi battled cancer for two years but beat the disease and the two wed last August 2009.

Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts, another cancer survivor, snapped a flick with woman fighting her cancer battle.

The beautiful Tatyana Ali was among the stars dedicated to the cause.

Country star Martina McBride, Aaron Neville, and Leona Lewis sang their hearts out in support of fighting cancer.

Stevie Wonder payed tribute to those who lost their lives to cancer, people over the world fighting the disease, and actor Patrick Swayze. Check out a vid of his performance.

Good to see stars with power and influence support an important cause.

WEDDING FAB: NBA Baller Chris Duhon Weds Andrea Hernandez

New York Knick star turned Orlando Magic baller (as of July) Chris Duhon married his girl Andrea Hernandez a few weeks ago. Because we know you love a fab wedding, we've got the pics from their North Carolina nuptials when you read on...

Chris was the star player at his Lousiana high school Salmen and went on to be a star player at Duke Univeristy. So it was only fitting that he had his wedding at the Duke University Chapel in Durham, North Carolina.

Many of his high school teammates and college besites--including President Obama's Execitive Assistant Reggie Love and Magic teammate Jason Williams--served as his groomsmen.

Chris' aunt Audi Brown served as the wedding planner. And with his new $15 million 4-year contract, it looks like he spared no expense.

Gorgeous dress.

He even surprised his wife with a performance from Amel Larrieux--she sang "Make Me Whole" for them. Sweet!

Remember Petey Pablo? Me neither. But if you ever dropped it like it was hot to a song called "Freek-A-Leek" that was him. Well he's back in the news. And you won't believe why. Find out why Petey got popped by the airport po-po when you go inside....

Earlier this morning, Petey Pablo aka Moses Barrett III, was arrested at the Raleigh-Durham International because airport security spotted a gun in his carry-on bag. Yes. You read that right. And yes. Today is the anniversary of 9/11. Yet, Moses tried to sneak a gun on the plane. SMH.

Sources say he was on his way to Los Angeles for the MTV Video Music Awards. SIDEBAR: I'm already on VMA pins-and-needles between Kanye/Taylor Swift and what color Nicki Minaj's weave is gonna be...and now Petey Pablo is coming out of hiding? I can't take too much more. My nerves are already bad. </sarcasm>

So Moses Barrett III was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a stolen firearm. Sources also said he posted $50,000 today and was released. But he must return for a court appearance on Monday.

Let's hope he doesn't forget his gun in his pocket and show up at court with a pistol like Shawty Lo's baby momma.

It was a family affair at the annual BMI Urban Awards at the Pantage Theater in Hollywood. Honorees included Will.I.Am, Lil Wayne, Polow Da Don and more. BMI President/CEO Del Bryant, V.P. Catherine Brewton and Ray-J were hosts for the evening. We've got pics of event when you read on...

In his absence, Lil Wayne was honored with the Urban Songwriter of the Year award for writing six of the most performed songs in the past year. Polow Da Don received the Urban Producer of the Year award. Congrats to both.

Will.I. Am got cheesy with his mom, Debra Cain. He received the BMI's President Award in recognition for his work as an artist, producer and humanitarian.
