Last week we got our first look at Kylie Minogue‘s new music video for her new single Get Outta My Way but today we get to see the video again … but with a special personalized introduction by Kylie for all YOU Pink is the new Blog readers. But, before we get to that, here are a few behind the scenes photos that were shot on the set of Kylie‘s music video shoot that show the fabulous pop star in action:


This video for GOMW is just fantastic … the song is just KILLER, there’s no doubt, but the video manages to hang in there and be just as cool as the track needs it to be. The styling … oh man, Kylie just looks fantastic. Get Outta My Way is quickly becoming one of my fave Kylie videos of all time. An Extended Look At The ‘Britney For Candie’s’ Spring 2010 Photoshoot

Back in February we got our first look at the promo images for Britney Spears‘s new clothing line for Candie’s called Britney for Candie’s: The Limited Edition Collection. As you may recall, Britney was photographed by Annie Leibovitz, Terry Richardson & Mark Seliger for the campaign that was called Britney: Through the Lens. Today we get to check out an extended behind the scenes video from that photoshoot that gives us a much better feel for how the whole campaign came together:


I really loved the Through the Lens campaign … it is so fun getting to see Britney lookin’ so well on set. The girl is back, yes, but this is proof that she’s been on her game for a looong time now. Considering how well Britney for Candies’s did this season with the Limited Edition Collection, my guess is that Britney will be designing new collections for Candie’s very soon.

Madonna Likes To Ride The NYC Subway

Who knew that Madonna, her Holiness herself, would be such a down to Earth type of lady … after all, her Madgesty was spied gettin’ around NYC this week by using public transportation. That’s right folks, Maddy was riding the subway:

New Yorkers are used to seeing all kinds of things on the subway, but yesterday one of the most bizarre incidents ever happened … Madonna rode public transportation. The super-fit 52-year-old really does like to train.

Heh … I woudldn’t get too used to seeing Madonna riding around on subways but it is a nice change of pace. I don’t even know what I would do if I ran into Maddy on the subway but I do think it’s very cool to see her gettin’ around town like every other New Yorker. Hey, at least she wasn’t seen on a bus.

Paris Hilton & Cy Waits Continue To Enjoy Their Hawaiian Getaway

Yesterday we got to see a photo of Paris Hilton, who was recently arrested in Las Vegas, NV on charges of cocaine possession, hiding out in a grocery store in Hawaii and today we get to see a few more photos of Paris having the time of her life on the island with her boyfriend (recently arrested for drunk driving) Cy Waits. You’d never guess that Paris was awaiting punishment on felonious drug charges based on these photos alone:

She could be facing a prison sentence following her recent arrest for cocaine possession. But Paris Hilton looked like she didn’t have a care in the world as she went shopping in Hawaii yesterday. The 29-year-old socialite smiled and giggled in a particularly revealing low cut patterned dress as she and her boyfriend Cy Waits went shopping on the island of Maui. Clad in a black vest top and baggy shorts, the 34-year-old also appeared to be having a good time with the star who bought a few pairs of earrings in the boutique. The holiday pictures are the first time the pair have been snapped together since Hilton was arrested for possessing cocaine when her car was stopped by police in Las Vegas late on August 27. Waits, 34, was also arrested for DUI during the night out with his girlfriend. She has been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, 0.8 grams of cocaine. The socialite could face four years in prison if convicted. She is denying the allegations, claiming the cocaine found, along with the purse, was not hers. She said she had borrowed the purse from a friend.

To be honest, this kind of behavior seems exactly like Lindsay Lohan‘s careless behavior when she jetted off to the Cannes Film Festival just before she got sent to jail. Paris Hilton may be all smiles now but I’m sure she’ll be crying a different tune when she is standing before a Las Vegas judge to answer for her alleged crimes. Enjoy the freedom while you can, Paris.

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi Has Her Day In Court

Back in July Nicole Snooki Polizzi got arrested in Seaside Heights, NJ on charges of drunken disorderly conduct and today Snooki had her day in court to answer those charges. After initially pleading Not Guilty to the charges, Snooki changed her plea to Guilty and threw herself on the mercy of the court. A contrite and conservatively dressed Snooki stood before a judge today and owned up to her mistakes. After the judge labeled her a “Lindsay Lohan wannabe”, he slapped her with $533.00 in fines and sentenced her to 2 days of community service (which actually will only be 1 day since she got credit for going to the zoo last week). Here are photos of Snooki in court and the full run-down of the day’s events:

“Jersey Shore’s” Snooki just got schooled by a New Jersey judge, who called her a “Lindsay Lohan wannabe” … after she pled guilty to a crime after a drunken escapade on a Seaside Heights beach. As we first reported, Snooki was arrested in Seaside Heights, NJ on July 30 … after she was spotted using a beer bong and falling off a bicycle. Judge Damian Murray scoffed at Snooki in court, saying he didn’t know if her antics were scripted, adding, if it was scripted Snooki needed to decide “if it was worth trading your dignity for a paycheck.” But that wasn’t the end … The judge called Snooki’s actions “rude and self-indulgent.” Snooki pled guilty to disturbing the quiet enjoyment of the beach but the disorderly conduct charge and another count were dismissed. Snooki could have been thrown in the slammer for 90 days, but the judge let her skate with 2 days community service and a $533 fine. Snooki addressed the court and said she was “very embarrassed” and says she was never in this kind of situation before.

For the most part, all of this was to be expected. Snooki‘s crime wasn’t all that serious and by pleading Guilty, she owned up to her mistake and proved to the court that she was truly sorry. While this Guilty plea was prolly more about getting less punishment than it was about responsibility, it at least proves that Snooki isn’t necessarily doomed for a life of failure. Will this be enough to keep her out of trouble? I guess we shall see … my guess is that she will not get into any more trubs with the law, that is, until the next season of Jersey Shore starts filming again.

‘Blues’ Brothers

Last night David and I met up with Darion for a fun dinner date at Baby Blues BBQ in West Hollywood, CA so that we could catch up and say our farewells before Darion takes off to Japan with his father for 12 days. While it was a bit chilly out last night, we had a great time together suppin’ on delish BBQ:


I can’t even tell you how happy I am that Darion and his dad Tim are headin’ to Tokyo. I’ve always wanted to visit so I’m really looking forward to living vicariously thru Darion’s fun trip. Despite the fact that I am SO over flying around in airplanes, David and I will be meeting his entire family in Las Vegas, NV tomorrow night so that we can celebrate his dad’s birthday. We have a few fun things planned in celebration so it should be a blast. After this quick trip, I think my travels will be finished for the year.

No plans for today … just prep for Vegas and a bit of reading. I’ve gotten so behind on my reading that I’m trying to catch up. Happy Hump Day!

British ‘GQ’ Honors The Men Of The Year For 2010

British GQ magazine hosted their annual Men of the Year Awards ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London, England last night and brought out only THE most fashionable and stylish men in town … and Alice Cooper. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals last night:


Honorees this year included Dizzy Rascal as Best Solo Artist, Gorillaz as Best Band, Kick-Ass‘s Aaron Johnson as Most Stylish, Dr. Who‘s Matt Smith as Best TV Personality, Gossip Girl‘s Ed Westwck as Breakthrough Talent, Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm as Best International Male and many more. I understand that the US version of GQ honors its Men of the Year in November but the Brits always like to get the party started. Congrats to all the stylish winners and to Mark Ronson … rethink the white hair.

‘Detroit 1-8-7’ Premieres In Detroit, MI

A little bit of Hollywood invaded Detroit Rock City last night as the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in downtown Detroit, MI played host to a premiere event for the new ABC series Detroit 1-8-7 which is set to premiere on September 21. Here are a couple photos from the red carpet arrivals at the premiere event along with some deets about what went down at last night’s soirée:

The Motor City landed in the Hollywood spotlight Tuesday night as stars of the new TV series “Detroit 1-8-7″ came out for a red-carpet premiere. The private affair at the MGM Grand Detroit started about 7 p.m. City officials and business leaders were there, along with stars from the series, including Michael Imperioli, Natalie Martinez, James McDaniel and Jon Michael Hill, and executive producers David Zabel, Jason Richman and Kevin Hooks. About 300 people showed up for a screening of the pilot episode of the ABC cop drama, the first network prime-time series to be shot fully in Detroit … “I’m hoping and believe that the filmmakers will present our city in a fair and balanced way,” [Mayor] Bing said. “We’re excited about the prospects of Detroit continuing to make moves on the movie-making map.” Soon after 8 p.m., the cast lined up in front of the audience as the producers took center stage to share stories about the series’ creation and to recognize network brass and local people and businesses for their support. “I expected to have a good time tonight, but this is tremendous,” Zabel said, before joking that sharply dressed Wayne County Circuit Judge Craig Strong had ordered him to get some real Detroit style. “We’re excited to show you the first episode now, but the series gets even better and better as it goes on,” he added.

I cannot even tell you how excited I am for Detroit, MI these days. As you may already know, Scream 4 has been filming in the Detroit Metropolitan area all Summer long as have films like LOL (starring Demi Moore and Miley Cyrus), Machine Gun Preacher (starring Gerard Butler) and others. Now we have a new TV series filmed entirely in the city of Detroit … it is really a strong point of pride for me. I was just elated to see Detroit so full of life and vitality last weekend as Comerica Park was packed for 2 nights in a row to see Eminem, Jay-Z and friends in concert … and now the city gets it’s very own TV series? It’s really exciting for me. Detroit 1-8-7 is deffo one of the new shows I’m really looking forward to watching when the new TV season begins later this month. It looks like Detroit 1-8-7 has a lot of heart … which is apropos considering how much heart the city itself has. I’m really pulling for this show to do well. A little bird tells me that Detroit 1-8-7 will be filming scenes for an upcoming new ep at Rustic Cabins in Grosse Pointe Park, MI … which is a bar that I used to hang out with when I lived in GPP and used to be frequented by Jack Kerouac back in the day when he briefly lived in the area. Lindsay Lohan Checks In, Ciaos Down

Checking in with Lindsay Lohan today and we get to see new photos of L. Lo dutifully checking in with her probation officer in Santa Monica, CA as ordered by the court. As you can see, Lindsay was dressed for the cooler weather than has been plaguing SoCal this week as she sported a bright yellow hooded sweatshirt:


You know, I really gotta hand it to Lindsay … she’s really been behaving herself since she was released from rehab a couple of weeks ago. While it’s true that L. Lo continues to hit up the nightclubs (thereby putting herself in questionable situations), she has managed to stay completely out of trubs. For the most part, the only time we see her out and about is when she makes her sojourn to the courthouse to check in with her probation officer. While I certainly think it is far too early to say that she’s a changed young woman, I am quite relieved to see that she’s managed to keep her nose out of trubs thus far. Who knows, maybe these good habits will end up having a positive effect on her.

Matt Lanter Films New Scenes For ‘90210’ Sans Shirt

We are just 5 days away from the season 3 premiere of 90210 on The CW but the cast and crew of the show are still hard at work filming new eps for the upcoming new season. Matt Lanter, who plays Liam on the show, was spotted in all his shirtless (and tanned) wonder in a store window on Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA yesterday as he filmed new scenes for a new ep:


I’m not entirely sure what is going on here but I do like what I see. I am so ready for the new Fall TV season to get underway and we can always count on The CW to get the party started as their TV shows are usually the first ones to air new eps each Fall. ‘Glee’ Season 2 Premieres In Hollywood

The cast of Glee, both old and new, made their way out to the Paramount Studios lot here in Hollywood, CA last night to celebrate the second season of their hit Fox TV show. The season 2 premiere ep, titled Auditions, was screened at last night’s red carpet event and Zap2It brings us a list of things to look for (in addition to what not to look for) when the show returns on September 21. Here are a few photos of some of our fave Glee castmembers on the red carpet last night and a tease from Zap2It:

The “Glee” Season 2 premiere is almost here, but until Sept. 21, Zap2it has more details on what to expect when you tune in. Let’s just say that for “Glee” fans, the episode titled “Auditions” is a treat and addresses many of the concerns that were brought up for the second half of the freshman season. That’s not to say that everything’s perfect at McKinley High, because what would be the fun of that? Zap2it had the opportunity to screen the first episode back at the “Glee” premiere party Tuesday night (Sept. 7), and we’re here to share some of the goodies with you …

In order to keep the post spoiler free for those of you who wish to remain spoiler-free, the list can be read behind the cut. Additionally, you can check out photos of some of the new castmembers who have been added to Glee season 2 as well as a short preview video from the season 2 premiere ep Auditions, after the jump …

What you’ll see:

– Jacob Ben Israel (Josh Sussman) gets a good chunk of screen time, and he’s hilarious.
– More contemporary hits: We already know that we’ll see Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind,” but we also get Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” and Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire” courtesy of newbie Chord Overstreet.
– Will (Matthew Morrison) and Sue (Jane Lynch) teaming up and giggling together.
– For her audition, Sunshine (Charice) sings a killer version of “Listen” from the “Dreamgirls” film adaptation.
– A catfight in the hallway
– The promised Asian hookup between Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) and Mike (Harry Shum, Jr.), with an explanation about how poor Artie (Kevin McHale) lost Tina.
– A Gleek tries out for the Cheerios, but we’re not saying who.
– Self-awareness – Lots of references to things we think about, but don’t usually mention, such as Kurt’s (Chris Colfer) fashion sense and Mike Chang’s marginal dance-only status.
– One Gleek gets surgery over the summer holidays.
– Finn (Cory Monteith) has some interesting chemistry with new guy Sam (Chord Overstreet)

What you won’t see:

– Emma (Jayma Mays) and Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig) – They’re still part of the show, but not till Episode 2.
– Coach Ken Tanaka (Patrick Gallagher) – His character had a nervous breakdown and is replaced by Coach Beiste (Dot Jones). Never fear, he’s landed on his feet elsewhere.
– Matt Rutherford (Dijon Talton) – Mr. Schue announces that Matt has transferred. No other explanation about his disappearance from show choir.
– Puck’s (Mark Salling) mohawk. Yes, as we saw at the end of Season 1, it’s well and truly gone.

We are still about 2 weeks away from the premiere of Glee season 2 … but this clip is a nice tease for what’s to come. I cannot wait … as you may have guessed, I’m most excited about the second ep of Glee season 2 — the famed Britney Spears episode — but overall, I’m looking forward to the show’s return … are you?

Halle Berry Creepin’ Around With Olivier Martinez

When last we saw Halle Berry here on the blog she was suited up in South Africa hard at work on her new film Dark Tide and just days before that we saw her beautiful visage on the cover of Vogue magazine. Today we get to see a new photo of Halle Berry but this time she’s not working on a film or posing for a magazine … she is swappin’ spit with a new love interest. Halle was spied in Paris, France this week in the loving arms of actor Olivier Martinez … behold:

The City of Lights has become the City of Love for Halle Berry. Berry, 44, has been spotted cozying up to her Dark Tide costar Olivier Martinez, 44, in his hometown of Paris. The two have been seen smooching and exploring the city, embracing a Hollywood-style romance straight out of a movie. “It was the classic ‘I’m going to kiss you here in a dark corner’ move,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE of Berry and Martinez’s romantic romp. “And she was waiting to be kissed.” The duo spent Sunday afternoon combing through the streets arm in arm, taking in a pit stop at the Paris flea market. “They had their arms around each other as they walked,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE. “They were both smiling and laughing Their body language was very flirtatious. They definitely seemed like a couple – absolutely looked like more than friends.” The two sped off on Martinez’s motorcycle before dining at the intimate Casa Bini restaurant. After dinner, Martinez led Berry on a cozy back-streets tour of the St. Germain district at dusk, including Place Saint-Sulpice and its fountain. En route to his Paris pad, the couple stopped along a narrow street and kissed in a doorway for two minutes, says an onlooker.

Ah yes … Olivier and his famous motorcycle. Some of you may know that Olivier previously dated Kylie Minogue and the couple spent many a night riding around on his beloved cycle … now, it would seem, that he is happily giving rides to another beauty. While this little romance is cute, I don’t think it’s anything to get all excited about just yet. Co-star romances are notoriously short-lived and my guess is that Halle and Olivier are just having fun. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if this fling has any staying power.

Amy Poehler Will Host The 36th Season Premiere Of ‘Saturday Night Live’

Saturday Night Live alum Amy Poehler will return to SNL later this month to host the 36th season premiere of the show … and she’s bringing Katy Perry and her California Gurls along as the musical guest. Entertainment Weekly broke the news yesterday that Amy has been signed on to return to host SNL when the new season premieres on September 25:

EW.com has learned that Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation) will host Saturday Night Live when the late-night comedy show returns to NBC on Sept. 25. Poehler, who was a member of the SNL troupe from 2001-2010, earned her fourth Emmy nomination this summer for playing Leslie Knope on Parks … SNL, which is about to begin its 36th year on NBC, will also add three featured players to the mix this season to help fill the void left by Will Forte. EW has confirmed they are actor/comedian Taran Killam, who's appeared on Mad TV and How I Met Your Mother, Chicago-based comedians Paul Brittain and Vanessa Bayer, and newcomer Jay Pharoah, who has performed on BET's "One Mic Stand."

As soon as word came out that Poehler would be hosting the season premiere ep, Katy Perry posted a message on her official Twitter profile announcing that she would be appearing as the show’s musical guest:

OKAY! My BIG surprise is I’m opening the season of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE on September 25 W/SNL Alum Amy Poehler!!!

I’m loving that Amy will be hosting I’m only Meh. about Katy Perry performing … but damn that California Gurls song is catchy. For the most part, recent seasons of Saturday Night Live have been kinda Meh. over all … but we can’t forget that amazingly funny ep last season when Betty White hosted the show. Here’s hoping Amy Poehler and the new cast of SNL can set a new standard of funny when the show returns on September 25 with its 36th season! Amy is fab … I think she will bring us a fantastic show, don’t you?
