Rapper's Delight: DMX Says Plies Has To Be 'One Of The Worst' Rappers + Swizz Beatz Dishes On His Life

Like most rappers when they are gearing up to release an album, DMX has started some ish with down south rapper Plies. Dark Man X says he doesn’t know who the worst rapper is “but he (Plies) has to be one of the worst.”

He goes on to say, "I mean 'Bruh Bruh?' Serious? that has to be one of the worst. How do you even fix your mouth to say that or spell that? I am looking at how it's spelled."

DMX noted that T.I. is his favorite artist out right now.

In good ol’ DMX fashion, he switches it up on a serious note and says, "On a serious note, what a lot of people don't understand, is that we as artists, are teachers. And if you teach people to spell like that and talk like that, then you dumber than the people you are supposed to be teaching."

DMX is currently in the studio working on his album featuring collaborations with Dame Grease, Swizz Beatz, Diesel and Scott Storch.

Rihanna announced her new album title last night and leaked a new song, plus we've got a candid photo of her in Hawaii with new tattoos. Read on for more deets...

The pop singer announced her album title on one of her biggest chat rooms, Rihannadaily.com, last night. Rihanna announced that her new project's title will be called LOUD saying,

"Get LOUD everybody, get crazy, get excited, cuz im pumped, im just gonna be ME, cuz thats what u guys love the most, and thats what makes me feel best! just being normal, normal for me is LOUD! sassy, fun, flirty, energetic."

She continued to thank her fans worldwide and asked for her 'Rihanna Navy' to make her CD #1 in every country. I wish she would have thought of something more creative for a title though...

Rihanna also displayed some new 'tattoos' yesterday in Hawaii. She was seen shooting for her movie role in 'Battleship' so let's hope these tattoos are just temporary for the film.

The ATL was definitely the place to be for Labor Day weekend. Tons of celebs and tons of parties. In case you missed it, don't worry, we have pics for you. See pics of Luda's celebrity basketball game, the afterparty at Velvet Room and pics of Amber Rose with her female admirers when you go inside...

The Morehouse Forbes Arena at the Atlanta University Center was met with a frenzy on Sunday as thousands gathered, while Ludacris took over the gym for a celebrity basketball game. The home team coaches Ludacris and Larenz Tate vs. visiting team coaches Kenyon Martin and Teyana Taylor, teamed up with numerous celebrities.

Ludacris raised a lot of money for his foundation. Nice to see him giving back.

YBF EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: LIL' MO CREATES 'KAOS' AT SANTOS PARTY HOUSE

The YBF was on the scene this weekend to catch an exclusive performance by Lil' Mo for the KAOS party at Santos Party House, sponsored by 21-toDrink. We sat down with the pint-sized diva and got the dish on her new album, new family and new reality show. Catch up with Lil' Mo when you go inside, plus see exclusive concert pics and vid of her performance...

YBF: What can YBF readers expect from you this year?

Lil' Mo: I have a new album coming soon its called Tattoos and Roses. And I have my own radio show in Washington DC on WPGC 95.5 FM. I've been back in radio for five months and my show is full of gossip, good music and shows another side of my personality.

YBF: A lot of R&B singers like Fantasia and Faith Evans have their own reality shows, is that something you've thought about doing?

Lil' Mo: Well I actually have a new reality coming out that showcases new artists. Everybody says music is dead. Well the best way for us to revive it is for us to showcase unsigned artists. Its sorta like "Apollo" meets "American Idol" meets "America's Got Talent" meets "I'll let you have it!"

YBF: That's a tall order to follow. What will the show be called?

Lil' Mo: It's called "Music Is My Life" We just shot the promo now we are just waiting on sponsors. And we'll be on our way.

YBF: For your fans, how will the new album be different?

Lil' Mo: Well I took it back to the old Mo. Back to real singing. Not saying I was watered down before, but sometimes you don't want to go all the way there and church them out. But this album is about real down home singing. As of now I have songs with Maino, Tweet and I'm doing a song with Faith Evans.

YBF: So what's going on with you romantically?

Lil' Mo: This is my new husband here. His name is Phillip Bryant. He's a gospel artist. We been married about two years. Now we have a son and a wonderful family.

YBF: How many kids do you have?

Lil' Mo: We have two girls and a boy. Heaven is 8, Goddess is 5 and Justin 18 months.

YBF: I heard a story about you in church being afraid to sing. Is that true?

Lil' Mo: Well I led my first song when I was five years old. And I just remember having on a wool turtleneck and crying my eyes out. So I just wasn't ready to be in front of people. But I guess I did good because they kept calling on me to sing solos, but I would try to hide under the seat. And then the folks in the church would tell me, "You better get up here and sing before the Lord takes your voice." "You better go up there and do the will of God." Sometimes people see greatness in you, but when you are five or six you barely have teeth in your mouth (laughing). But it made me who I am today.
