Too Soon? Fantasia Caught Crackin' Jokes About Suicide Attempt + Amar'e Stoudemire - A Ladies Magnet?

When asked if she's used aspirin lately, Fantasia insinuated she's only doing Tylenol these days. Peep the video. Chuckle chuckle. *eyebrow raised*

 

In the September 14 issue of Page Six Magazine, Amar'e Stoudemire, talks about what its like being a single man in New York City.  

"Women are definitely bold and come up and talk to me. They want to associate themselves with me. It's not a bad thing being single."

And when you are 6-foot-10, known to make a reported $100 million with the New York Knicks and you look good in a suit...I can only imagine that Stoudemire 's options are limitless.  And rumor has it that Vogue editor Anna Wintour is after Stoudemire for an upcoming cover.  I'm sure this would be right up Stoudemire's alley as he says he loves fashion.

"I love fashion . . . I love watches. I love shoes. I make sure that every time I step out of the house I'm feeling comfortable and fashion forward. Depending on the occasion, I dress the part."

And you look good when you dress the part Amar'e.  Would love to see you covering Vogue.

After the ish hit the fan yesterday with "Basketball Wife" Gloria Govan and her on-again-off-again fiance Matt Barnes, Gloria's now denying Matt harmed her.

Now Gloria is denying that her "fiance" (so they're still engaged after calling off the wedding a little while ago?) Matt Barnes harmed her in any way. 

“Any accusation of domestic violence are false,” Govan said in a statement issued Thursday by the couple’s publicist Laura M. Wright. “My fiancé, Matt Barnes, has never physically abused me or my family.”

Ummmm, really?  So a phone call just happened to be made from the house you two share, and the cops just voluntarily came out and made up the report that they saw "visible injuries" on "the girlfriend"?  I mean, unless Matt has another "girlfriend" living up in his house, I fail to see any truth in Gloria's "statement."

 

Sounds like they're just both embarrased that their "perfect couple" bubble got publicly busted.  However, claiming one thing while the police report claims another, is just odd.  But hey, if they like it, we love it.  Moving on....

 

Celebs Get FAB For New York Fashion Week!

Kelly Rowland and model Jessica White hit the Jen Kao Spring 2011 fashion show yesterday. Both ladies rocked sexy looks and looked fab as usual.

The Chanel boutique in Soho had its re-opening last night.  And new mom and dad Paula Patton and Robin Thicke came out to help Karl Lagerfield and co. celebrate:

Paula's looking incredible post-baby.  After Robin was spotted out with Baby Julian this weekend, I just hope we get to see more of their newbie soon...

In a series of tweets yesterday, rapper 50 Cent revealed that he spoke to Floyd Mayweather Jr.  just hours before Josie Harris called 911 claiming that Mayweather assaulted her.

50 Cent says he spoke with Mayweather both before and after the alleged incident and Mayweather wasn't upset either time.  He also says that Harris lives in a guesthouse on Mayweather's Las Vegas estate with an unnamed girlfriend whom they both feel is starting up mess between Harris and Mayweather. 

"She's claiming he hit her but has no bruises," 50 Cent said.  "Floyd went to see his kids last night if a fighter of floyd caliber hits u, u would b bruised."

50 continued,

"He said he asked her why was the house so dirty she started trippin.  He bought nice clothes for his kids they were all over the place.His baby moma said shes not gonna force them to wear clothes they dont want. I told him that's crazy. I know how he felt. I met her before so I told him she would calm down. Can't believe she called the cops. Floyd said he feels like her girlfriend is using her and pushing her in the wrong direction."

Las Vegas authorities are still looking to "talk" to Mayweather about the incident.

In an interview that is as outrageous as it is sad, Gregory King, the father of Julian King, the nephew of Jennifer Hudson who died in the Hudson family tragedy, actually accuses Jennifer Hudson of being a free mason and sacrificing his son for her career and success.  Yes....you read that right.  Oh....and then he promotes his new rap album.  Be offended when you go inside....

Rihanna's ready to release her brand new album Loud.  It just got the release date of November 16th.  You ready for the promo ambush?

 

R.I.P. to gospel singer Marvin Sapp's wife MaLinda Sapp.  She just lost her battle with colon cancer after fighting her Stage 4 diagnosis.  Here's the statement from the family:

“It's with our deepest sympathy that we inform you that Pastor Marvin Sapp's wife MaLinda Sapp has passed on today after battling colon cancer.

It was confirmed on the Lonnie Williams show today. An official press release has not been issued yet but more details will be coming on the Yolanda Adams Morning show tomorrow morning!

Earlier this year, Marvin Sapp was testifying of how his wife, MaLinda, was given a clean bill of health by doctors after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in 2009. But then, those health concerns resurfaced and Marvin Sapp requested intense, around-the-clock prayer.”

The couple was married for 15 years. So sad.  R.I.P.

Las Vegas police were called to the home of Floyd Mayweather Jr. this morning after his baby mama, Josie Harris, claimed the boxer attacked her.   Sources say law enforcement officials were unable to find Floyd when they arrived on the scene and are now looking to interview him before determining if they will arrest him.  One of Mayweather's neighbors told TMZ that he heard loud screams this morning before later hearing two cars speeding off. 

Josie Harris went to Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas after the incident and has told people close to the situation that she plans to file for a restraining order against Mayweather.

But this isn't the first time Harris has claimed Floyd laid hands on her.  In 2003, Harris accused Mayweather of punching and kicking her inside a Bentley in Vegas. She filed charges but they were later dismissed in 2005 after Harris testified she lied to cops because she was angry that Floyd had dumped her for another woman. SMH.

Juelz and Kimbella have not announced the sex of the baby and they each have a child from previous relationships. The couple began dating last summer after Juelz flirted and sexted her via Twitter.  Classic.

 

Kimbella has appeared in videos for Juelz, Pitbull, and Lil Jon. And chick's been lined to the gambit of video vixen lovers: Trey Songz, NBA baller Shawn Marion, Fabolous, AND Lil Wayne. Guess she finally struck gold with Mr. Santana. *Kanye shug*

 

 

Rihanna has been promoting her new album and single since its release. Today, she released the cover for her new single 'Only Girl'. Rihanna posed nude in a field covered up with a red dress to match her fiery red hair.

She Tweeted to her fans this week:

"I made sure not to let you down with my music! You guys are always defending me, so now you've got some great songs to justify it. I didn't want to go backward and remake [2007's] Good Girl Gone Bad."

And it's not the first time she's stripped to show pieces of her girly bits.  She donned barbed wire and eyeshadow for the cover of her "Russian Roulette" single and went topless for the cover of "Wait Your Turn".  You feelin' this one?

Nine-year-old actress-turned-singer Willow hit up Ryan Seacrest's morning show this AM to confirm that Roc Nation/Columbia Records is indeed her new label home.  And her brand new cute promo pic is above.  Here's what her uber famous parents Will and Jada Pinkett Smith had to say:

"After meeting with several record companies, it was clear that JAY-Z, Ty Ty, Jay Brown and the Roc Nation staff was the unquestionable choice. Their passion for Willow combined with their boundless vision and artistic integrity made Roc Nation the perfect home for our little girl."
