Solange, Estelle, and Aisha Tyler sat front row for Max Azria. And Estelle wore some interesting shoes. Where you been Deborah Cox?: She popped up at both Derek Lam--with Jay Manuel--and Custo Barcelona yesterday. Jennifer Lopez looked stunning at the Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2011 Men's and Women's show.
The gorgeous La La Vasquez showed off her legs at the Cynthia Steffe Spring 2011 fashion show. She wore the designer's dress for the occasion. Estelle hit the front row of Diane Von Furstenberg on Sunday. NBA player Amar'e Stoudemire and Tommy Hilfiger posed a flick at the designer's 2011 Men's and Women's show. And for this type of occasion, the more details, the more uniqueness, the better. Read on to find out who these three YBF folks were rocking head to toe at last night's MTV VMAs... <!--break-->
Feathers, lace, and skin were all the rage on last night's white carpet. And we adored Ciara's head to toe Givenchy look. Being the face of the label has indeed paid off. This dress, complete with a sheer black lace bodice with just enough coverage for a sexy amount of peek-a-boo, is part of the Fall 2010 Givenchy Couture collection. Gorgeous black and gray and nude feathers completed the high slit bottom half. And she topped off her embellished looked with wrist and finger candy, and nude Givenchy platforms. Gorgeous look.
Drake held it down for the fellas in head to toe Tom Ford. It's hard to Ef up a Tom Ford suit, and Drake rocked it extremely well. Sleek all black color, great cut, and a bit of pop with the black embroidered button down underneath. He topped off the look with black, red, and purple accented Tom Ford shoes that def worked for the occasion. And model/actress Eva Marcille lit up the white carpet with this multicolored sequined metallic dress by Shane Peacock. The colors, the glitz, the extra glitz on her ears and fingers, white nails, and sickeningly perfect skin all made this look one of our faves. She took her bold look one step further with her bleached blonde coif, and these uber hot metallic blue Versace platform pumps (which were also worn by Nicki Minaj last night). Loves it all.  |

<!--break--> Kimora announced weeks ago on Twitter that she was leaving the line she and her ex-husband Russell Simmons created, then rumors began circulating that Baby Phat fired Kimora. She spoke to the Daily News during her Fashion Week show stops this weekend, and made it clear the split wasn't amicable. Kimora said: "It's over. It's absolutely over. It was very abrupt and sudden. I was shocked, it's very, very sad for me. It was totally unexpected." She wouldn't necessarly confirm if she was fired from the clothing line or not. But she did dish to WWD that Baby Phat had "changed the locks" on her ass. Damn! Over the weekend, she appeared front row at Zac Posen's fashion show and was forced to sit right next to her ex. How's that for awkward? At the fashion show she continued to comment on her departure from Baby Phat saying, "Oh, I am completely gone….Honey they changed the locks on me! I’m busy with Hello Kitty, Fabulosity….I’m relaunching KLS. I want to cater to this new generation that’s grown up with me.” Her ex Russell also commented, "It’s like a baby that’s all grown up. You have to let it go eventually." And honey, we agree. Despite her unexpected departure from BP, Kimora has several other fashion lines out. It will be interesting to see who suffers the most from this--Baby Phat or KiKi?  |
| Beyonce Wigs Out For Secret Tom Ford Show! Posted: 13 Sep 2010 05:39 AM PDT Delicious designer Tom Ford went vintage fashion on us as he hosted his fashion show yesterday...but in secret. Only a VERY intimate gathering of people...barely any paparazzi or photogs...and only the top fashion editors and celebs and buyers who matter to the brand were invited.
We've got pics of Beyonce and Solange caught making their secret arrival (and secret runway appearance) for the show when you read on... <!--break--> Beyonce and Solange, were in tow to see the first Tom Ford women’s collection in the intimacy of the designer’s Madison Avenue store. Tom was previously the genius behind Gucci and YSL for years. He also has his own men's line (one of my fave's for the fellas) and now, a women's line.
Bey popped up looking fabulous in her super curly wig and a sequins gold dress and left in a white blouse and feminine black tux coat (above). She also hit the runway in the show as a surprise to the lucky guests. And Solo, who sat front row, rocked a feminine take on the tux look that I'm loving: Solo Tweeted: Just died and went to fashion heaven!!! Tom Ford presentation. Sat in the mist of fashun royalty. Saw Grace sketching, Anna smiling, Died. According to the Daily News:

Kanye West shocked us all as "toasted all the a$$holes". Loved the way he spoke his mind over a HOT beat. Great performance. Nicki Minaj began her Judy Jetsonesque pre-show performance with "Your Love", and then Will.i.am hit the stage with her and they performed their duet "Check It Out." Drake ft. Mary J. Blige and Swizz Beatz performing "Fancy". Another great performance.
N.E.R.D. and Ciara hit the outside stage to perform their new single 'Hot 'N Fun' on a crazy set.
Eminem performed "Not Afraid" following up with a surprise appearance from Rihanna where they performed "Love The Way You Lie."
Usher took the stage and performed "OMG" and "DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again."
Bruno Mars and B.o.B performed "Nothin' On You". Then Hayley Williams came out to perform "Airplanes" with B.o.B. Haley then went on to perform Paramore's “The Only Exception.” And check out our gallery of performance pics and other folks who hit the stage at tonight's VMAs:  |

Is it me or does Andre Leon Talley love velour? I'm just saying. Vanessa and Angela Simmons turned heads at the Charlotte Ronson show. Angela looked hot in her all black "Amberesque" number. Hair and makeup look flawless. Supermodel Beverly Johnson is still killing them. She posed while attending the Venexia Spring 2011 show.
