| George Lopez Bids Farewell To His Late-Night Talk Show Posted: 12 Aug 2011 12:30 PM PDT Sad to say goobye, but if anyone is a survivor, it's George Lopez. He'll be back on his feet in no time! Last night, Lopez Tonight aired its final show after being abruptly canceled earlier this week. But George decided he wouldn't go out if he couldn't go out with a bang. He performed a scathing monologue (above), taking aim at the networks and President Obama. He then was joined by friend Eva Longoira for some wine and a chat, as well as Slash, Los Angeles Lakers Derek Fisher and Ron Artest and Arsenio Hall. Then, as the show came to close, he signed off with this touching speech:
We'll miss ya, George. Sorry you had to go out like this. |

We had the same reaction to this song as we did the first time we heard Cee-Lo's Fuck You, and both of these tunes are very similar. Like the Cee-Lo track, we predict Lloyd's Dedication To My Ex, which features Anrde 3000, will be a big mainstream hit. We love love love love love love it!!! Check it out (above)!!! |

This was suppose to mark her transition into the hearts of America just as she as she did in the U.K. Everyone, from sea to shining sea, was going to love our Geordie girl as much as we already do. Team Chezza was going to go international!!! Well, good news - it still might! Word has it that Cheryl is in talks for part in a BIG Hollywood flick. Sources reveal that she's in "advance talks" to star alongside Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez in What To Expect When You're Expecting. If she's signed, she'll start filming at the end of the month. | Bret Michaels Involved In ANOTHER Lawsuit…This Time With A Cruise Ship Company Posted: 12 Aug 2011 11:20 AM PDT The legal drama continues! Back in March, Bret Michaels was pursuing legal action against CBS and the Tony Awards for a head injury he sustained from a fall during the 2009 Tonys. Now, he's got a new lawsuit in the works against a cruise ship company. Last month, Bret's "Super Cruise" was cancelled, and as a result he's suing Shoreline Tours because he claims the company was involved in a "'a fraudulent scheme' intended to get Michaels to drastically drop his agreed-upon fee for two performances on one of its cruises." According to the lawsuit, the original fee was $750,000 for two performances, but promoter Willie Donwell dropped out of the deal due to "health woes" and left the rest of the dealings to the cruise ship company. The suit claims that Shoreline Tours paid Bret $250,000 initially, and then he was contacted by the company's agent Tim Towle, who complained about "poor advance ticket sales." Shoreline then told Bret that they only wanted to pay him another $100,000, which is $400,000 less than the number originally agreed upon. Bret is currently seeking TBD damages, as well as interest, court costs, and attorney's fees in his lawsuit, which names Shoreline AND both Towle and Donwell. Poor Bret! The guy is getting in lots of legal dramz lately, but we've got to admit, it seems like he may be in the right once again! What do U think? Does Bret have a case here? [Image via WENN.] |

We're sorry - but how can ANYONE watch this mess and honestly want these people leading the country? Check out all of the HIGHlarious HIGHlights from Fox's Iowa Republican Debate last night, including Newt Gingrich flipping out at Chris Wallace for his "Mickey Mouse questions," and most importantly, the perfection that is Michele Bachmann discussing her lightbulb freedom act, being asked if she is a 'submissive wife,' and best of all, completely disappearing from the stage with no warning (above)! Oh man. So much embarrassing right wing bullshit, so little time! Keep the LOLz coming, guys! |

Hall has never looked better! There really is nothing like the sight of that devilish grin and all the subtext behind it! The new season starts October 2nd. Who wants to take bets now that the writers will come up with some kind of Casey Anthony episode towards the end of the season? Or is that jumping the shark??? |

Yesterday, 50 Cent let his followers know on Twitter that he had lunch that day with Hollywood royalty. The rapper was joined by Goldie Hawn for reasons we can't even being to figure out, but apparently she was a "sweetheart" to him. But of course! Goldie is a classy lady. There a are very few actresses of her caliber left in this business. Still doesn't explain what you're doing having lunch with her! Wait a minute. Last year, you had dinner with Bette Midler, now you're having lunch with Goldie. If you ask Diane Keaton out for flapjacks, you've accomplished a First Wives Club trifecta! How marvelous! |
