Oh, well hello Mr. Seal.  The singer hit the beach with his supermodel wife Heidi Klum and their kiddies in Sardinia, Italy yesterday.  And the 48-year-old Englishman showed us his wife isn't the only one that can be called "The Body."

If you watched part 2 of the "BBW" Season 3 reunion special last night, you were treated to a preview of the L.A. franchise of the show.  We've got it inside in case you missed it...

Another earthquake is set to rock the L.A. landscape as VH1's "Basketball Wives LA" premieres on Monday, August 29 at 8PM ET/PT. We told you ealier about the show and its stars, whose drama factor seems like it will overshadow the Miami cast very quickly. But you won't see much of Tanya Williams in the promo...maybe she didn't bring the drama? Also...now that she can appear on the show, I wonder will Chris Bosh's baby momma Allison Mathis be in on the drama...

Television personalities Angela Simmons & Vanessa Simmons hit the Pastry booth at the MAGIC clothing trade show at the Las Vegas Convention Center yesterday in Las Vegas.

POLITICAL STORM: Rep. Maxine Waters SAYS The Tea Party Can "Go To Hell" & BLASTS President Obama For Ignoring Blacks

Congresswoman Maxine Waters is fed up and she is ready to put President Obama on blast for ignoring his Black base and saying what she really thinks about the Tea Party (which includes them going to HELL!).

While you were watching Tami and Meeka get it in on "Basketball Wives," another outspoken African American woman became a trending topic on Twitter as she has become one of President Obama's most vocal critics while also taking on the Tea Party (which most political folks are afraid to do). A political sh*tstorm has ensued.

During a recent jobs summit at Inglewood High School in California, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) made headlines when she blasted the Tea Party and said they could all go to hell.  This was viewed as an insult and the sound bite went viral, making Maxine vulnerable to attack from the right wing.  But as usual....they missed the point.  

When Rep. Waters said "Go To Hell" it was just a "different" way of saying "Please come visit our neighborhood."  Because as most folks in her district would tell you, the crime is rampant, unemployment is high and people are walking around saying "Yes We Can't" not "Yes We Can."  Welcome to hell.....where many unemployed Blacks live.

But Rep. Waters didn't stop there.  At a Congressional Black Caucus town hall in Detroit, she also attacked President Obama for his bus tour through the Midwest, which didn't stop through any neighborhoods which resembled Downtown LA, Detroit, Newark, NJ or the host of other chocolate areas hard hit by the economy.

"We're getting tired y'all," she said. "We want to give him every opportunity. But our people are hurting. The unemployment is unconscionable. ... When you let us know it is time to let go, we'll let go."

She also said,

"We don't know what the strategy is. We don't know why on this trip that he's in the United States now, he's not in any black communities," she said.

 

And a host of other high profile Blacks like Cornel West and Tavis Smiley have joined in and questioned President Obama's committment to the Black community...or lack thereof. 

So what do you think about what Rep. Waters said?  Was it a good thing that she invited the right wing to visit "hell" to see how the economy has destroyed her district?  Or was she being disrespectful of President Obama when she questioned his absence with respect to Black areas?  Speak on it.....

TRUTH OR FICTION?! Will & Jada Pinkett Smith To SEPARATE?!

Let me gather myself before I even begin to type this ish.  Deep Sigh.  Tabloid reports broke this morning that the First Family of Black Hollywood--Will & Jada Pinkett Smith--are headed for separation!

 

No court docs or statements just yet, but word on the internet streets is that the thing we never thought would happen...is happening.  Decide if you believe the rumors inside....

We're pretty picky about which tabloids we actually entertain.  And In Touch Weekly is one, as they've had more credibility over the years than the others. But hopefully they're all the way wrong on this one. 

The tabloid reports that the ridiculously rich and fabulous Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have decided to separate after 13 years of marriage.

The twosome, who are parents to multi-million dollar pre-teen Hollywood starlets Willow & Jaden Smith and teen son Trey, have always said "divorce was not an option" for them.  And, not saying looks are everything, they always appeared to be the quintessential marital couple.

So do we believe it?  Time will tell....

DO WE LOVE IT?: Zoe Saldana's Golden "Colombiana" Miami Premiere Look

Zoe Saldana hit the MIA last night in this interesting golden number by Balmain for her big premiere of her Colombiana movie at the Regal South Beach.  The hot actress rocked the edgy and altered look that caught everyone's eye--good or bad.

 

Decide if we love it inside...

Straight off the Balmain Resort 2012 runway, Zoe rocked this gold and white structured shoulder extreme deep v neck embellished gown.  But the original is simply a mini dress with a white belt instead of the white train Zoe added.  And she paired it with black strappy heels and perfectly bronzed skin.

PARTY FAB: Swizz Beatz & Chris Brown At Reebok Classics Party In Las Vegas

Last night, Swizz Beatz hit the stage in Las Vegas during the trade show festivities with special guest Chris Brown for the Reebok Classics Party. Get the deets and pics inside......

 


 

Yesterday, as part of the Project trade show in Las Vegas, Reebok Classics and Swizz Beatz threw a concert for over 500 friends and tastemakers at the Moorea Beach Club at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.  He rocked his own red Ex-o-Fits and matching Reebok snapback hat.

Funkmaster Flex hit the 1's and 2's while Swizz rapped his best tracks from his CD "Haute Living" including "International Party," " Everyday (Coolin')" and other crowd favorites.

He was joined by his homie Chris Brown as the special surprise guest.  Breezy hit the stage to do the closer "Dance Like a White Girl" with Swizz, wearing a special edition Reebok Classics jean jacket and Kamikazes.


Fun times I'm sure...

FROM THE JAIL CELL TO THE PULPIT: Teairra Mari's First Outing Since DUI....Oasis Church!

Well isn't that special.  Teairra Mari made sure her first "sighting" since getting locked up on a DUI charge and supposedly assaulting a police office (the latter she denies) over the weekend was none other than at the place of the Lord.  Dressed in all black like the omen, she and a friend were conveniently spotted leaving Oasis Church in L.A. on Sunday.

Teairra and a friend put on their Sunday best and headed to Oasis Church on Sunday.  After posting a 50K bail thanks to her DUI over the weekend, chick was enjoying her freedom before a hearing takes place.  Not sure they actually went INTO the church before making sure the cameras got them "leaving" it.  But I'm sure at least being in the vicinity is a good gesture.

 

Have you been convinced the "Sponsor" singer is now a good girl seeking guidance from the Lord?  Speak on it....

 

R.I.P. Nick Ashford

In sad news, Nick Ashford, one-half of the husband and wife songwriting/production/duet team Ashford & Simpson, died today after throat cancer complications.  Details when you read on...

The legendary and soulful Ashford & Simpson suffered a major loss today as 70-year-old Nick Ashford died, reportedly due to radiation and throat cancer complications at a New York hospital.

The AP reports:

Liz Rosenberg, who also was Ashford's longtime friend, told The Associated Press that Ashford – who along with wife Valerie Simpson wrote some of Motown's biggest hits – died in a New York City hospital. He had been suffering from throat cancer and had undergone radiation treatment.

Though they had some of their greatest success at Motown with classics like "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Reach Out And Touch Somebody's Hand" by Ross and "You're All I Need To Get By" by Gaye and Tammi Terrell, Ashford & Simpson also created classics for others, like the anthem "I'm Every Woman" by Khan (and later remade by Whitney Houston).

Nick & Valerie both appeared to be in good spirits and health over the past few years as they were always seen making their rounds on the entertainment scene.

Hate to see history and legends leaving our culture and community.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.  R.I.P.

NOTE TO MEMPHITZ: You CAN'T Bring A Gun On A Plane!

The ONE thing you don't want to do is bring a gun to the airport and try to board a plane.  Toya's husband--and record label exec-- Memphitz just learned that ish the hard way as he was ARRESTED today at the Atlanta airport.

 

Deets inside....

The newlyweds--who are also the new faces of Ampro Gel (yes, they're still around)--had just made an appearance at last night's Bronner Brothers hair show in Atlanta.  And Memphitz, government name Mickey Wright, hit the ATL Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport today and packed his gun.  Needless to say that ish was a no-go once he went to security.

Memph was arrested once TSA called the cops after noticing the firearm pass through the x-ray. 

His possible only saving grace is that he does have a valid license to carry a gun.  But it's still uber illegal to bring it on a plane.

Guess we'll be seeing this play out on the new season of "Toya Show."  Will there even be another one on BET?  Whatevs.  We'll just check twitter....

If you've ever wondered the proper way to rock a "natural" with an evening gown, The New York Times T Magazine called in Solange, Les Nubians, and Corinne Bailey Rae to pair their naturals with evening wear.  Meanwhile, Grammy-winner Esperanza Spalding  appeared on the cover of the mag.  See the pics inside....

In "Nightie Aphorodites" some of R&Bs brightest stars paired their "naturals" with evening wear.  The gorgeous YBF chicks showed off what their mamas gave them in the new style magazine called "T" by New York Times.

Above, Solange rocked a Giambattista Valli dress, Leviev ring and a Cartier ring. Her hair was by Chuck Amos for Bumble and Bumble at Jump and her makeup by Regina Harris for Lancôme Cosmetics.

Helene and Celia Faussart, aka Les Nubians, also posed.  Célia wore a Bottega Veneta dress, Borgioni earrings and Sevan Bicakci rings.  Hélène wore a Bottega Veneta dress, Bulgari earrings and Sevan Bicakci rings.  Their hair was by Gerald DeCock and makeup by Regina Harris.

Corinne Bailey Rae rocked Donna Karan with H. Stern necklaces, a Leviev brooch and Carolina Amato gloves.  Her hair was by Gerald Decock and her makeup by Regine Thorre.

Beyonce Set to Perform Her Favorite Jackson 5 Song For The Michael Jackson Tribute

Beyonce will be lending her talents to the Michael Jackson Tribute in Wales that will air October 8.  Deets inside.....

On the heels of her sold-out performances at NY's Roseland Ballroom, Beyonce has announced that she will participate in the MJ Tribute set to air in October.

But fans at the tribute may not get the total "Beyonce Experience" because she will perform via satellite.  But a satellite performance is better than nothing right?

So far...Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Leona Lewis have all agreed to participate.

LaLa Anthony was not happy when she found out that of all the perverts in the world, only 10% of them are women.

It's vacay time again for Rihanna.  After performing 2 nights at the V festival in London this weekend--right after her Barbados vacay--she jetted down to the south of France to coast with her girls.
