Ne-Yo Remixes "Motivation" With His Own "She Uses Me (Maturbation)"

Other foks like R.Kelly, Trey Songz, Busta Rhymes, and more already put their spin on Kelly Rowland & Weezy's hit single "Motivation."  Now Ne-Yo's stepping up to the plate to bust out his own version of the song--but, of course, the Grammy winning songwriter tweeked it with his own lyrics.

 

Peep Ne-Yo's version called "She Uses Me (Masturbation)" under the cut...

 

Ne-Yo said today about the track: Ladies and Gents...ladies especially. Had to put my spin on this one. For your listening pleasure, my version of Motivation. Enjoy!!...

Ne-Yo sings over the original "Motivation" beat about a woman who can't reach her man on the phone to tell him to come over....so she handles business herself.

The track will appear on Ne-Yo's upcoming mixtape hosted by comedian Kevin Hart.  The singer said about his new project:

An ENRAGED Kobe Bryant Accused Of ASSAULTING Fellow Church-Goer

When the pastor said reach out and touch your neighbor this past Sunday, Kobe Bryant took it literally and sent a fellow church-goer to the hospital. Deets inside....

 

Police in San Diego, CA are investigating whether Kobe Bryant assaulted a man during church this past Sunday.

According to the "unnamed" accuser, he and Kobe where both attending services at St. Therese of Carmel in Carmel Valley, when the man said Kobe grabbed his cell phone because he thought the man was taking a pic of him and his wife Vanessa Bryant.

The man said Kobe hurt his wrist during the grab and he had to be treated at a hospital!

No charges have been filed yet and Kobe has not spoken out about the incident.

The police found no trace of pictures of Kobe and/or his wife in the man's phone.  Sigh......it's not always about you Kobe. Maybe the man saw a vision of Sweet Baby Jesus and wanted to tweet it to his friends.

Nevertheless, I think Kobe should get some olive oil and lay hands on the man's his wrist and pray for a healing.

Let the church say....Amen.

Beyonce Covers The September 2011 Issue Of InStyle Mag

Beyoncé is all a-sparkle for the cover of InStyle magazine's upcoming September issue. The "Countdown" singer nabbed one of the most coveted cover months of the year. And she's donning a hot gold Dolce & Gabbana starry mini dress and necklace for the occasion.

 

We've got more pics, highlights about her friendships and family, why her free time is so important, and behind-the-scenes footage inside....

 

 

The sultry photoshoot was done by photographer Michelangelo Di Battista for the September 2011 issue of the mag.  In the pic above, Bey's rocking a Dior fox fur bolero, a OMO Norma Kamali swimsuit, a printed Robert Cavalli scarf, a Stephen Dweck cuff, and animal print and bold colored Ernesto Esposito heels.

And the girl who's trying to run the world with her new album, sold-out concerts, new perfume Pulse, and preparing to start a family, is looking all kinds of fabulous in her cover shoot. 

Here's a few highlights from the interview...

On whether she has regrets taking so much time off since the last album

“I sacrificed so much as a kid and as a teenager.  I have no regrets because my job kept me focused. When you’re young—18 or 19—you have the energy and drive. That’s the time to work as hard as you can. Now I’m a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children.”

On her gulty pleasures during her free time

“In my free time I prefer to do nothing but sit on the couch and watch TV. I have to confess that my guilty pleasure is Jersey Shore.”

On why girlfriends are so important (she said the same thing in her Bazaar interview)

“I am a girl’s girl. Women who don’t have female friends scare me. I love my friends, and I love sitting with them and listening to their stories.”

TV FAB: "Single Ladies" Creator Speaks On The Show's Haters & And Ignoring The Show's Critics

Stacy A. Littlejohn, the creator of VH1's hit "Single Ladies" recently did an interview where she opened up about creating the show, picking the lead actresses of a certain age, and why she doesn't let critics of the show bother her.  Find out what this fab chick had to say inside...

Stacy A. Littlejohn recently gave a revealing interview to Loop21 where she talked about her successful series "Single Ladies," which VH1 recently picked up for a second season.  Here are some highlights:

On what inspired her to create Single Ladies:

“I was actually trying to sell any project of my own…but I wasn’t having any luck pitching. My representation had distributed a pilot that I had written throughout the industry and people were reading it and responding well to it. It got into the hands of Maggie Malina at VH1 and she really liked my writing style. She brought me into the office and informed me that Flavor Unit and VH1 were interested in working on a project targeting women and dating. They needed a writer to fill in the blanks so I thought about my life and my experiences and filled in the blanks. I created Val, Keisha and April, and they loved it and told me to go back and keep writing.”

On if the show is based off on her personal experiences:

“Some of it, yes. I went home and thought about my own life. I thought about my friends, many who are single and I also thought about how hard it is to find a man in L.A. People can always relate to a show like Single Ladies, because there will be single people forever.”

On why she decided to choose LisaRaye McCoy and Stacey Dash instead of younger actresses:

“LisaRaye was chosen because I created Keisha with her in mind. She’s one of my best friends. I’ve written for her on four seasons of All of Us and I know her tone very well. Also, I wanted Keshia to have a comrade, someone who was on her level with certain life experiences and who had been in the game as long as her.

The experiences that I’m writing about, you have to have some years under your belt to have the kind of knowledge I’m bringing to it. I wanted to let Hollywood know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and young is a state of mind. I wanted to give them a chance. I didn’t want to discard them just because of their age. I like the experience that they bring.”

On how she deals with the show’s criticism:

“I pay attention to it, but I can’t pay too much attention to it. At the end of the day, you walk into it and you look at history, and you realize there’s not one movie, song, show or whatever that every single person liked. People have different experiences and that’s the beauty of the world. It doesn’t make me less important, less smart or a worse writer when someone doesn’t like my work. It just means it wasn’t for that person. What’s important is the people that are in your corner.”

 

Great to see a woman making her mark in Hollywood...even if I'm not feeling the creation....

CELEBS GIVE BACK: Jennifer Hudson & Sister Julia Donate School Supplies For The "Julian D. King Gift Foundation"

Over the weekend, Jennifer Hudson and her family celebrated the life and legacy of her slain nephew Julian D. King by giving out school supplies to children in her hometown of Chicago.  Get the deets inside....

In Chicago, Jennifer Hudson was joined by her sister Julia at the first Julian D. King Gift Foundation Hatch Day celebration, started in honor of her nephew. 


 

It was truly a family affair as the Hudson sisters were joined by Jen's little one, David Daniel Otunga Jr.  Awww.

The event was held at the De La Salle Institute and volunteers wore shirts that read “Happy 10th Birthday Julian" while passing out school supplies. 

It's great to see Jennifer and Julia keeping Julian's legacy alive.

"America's Next Top Model" is returning for a 17th ALL-STAR season which will feature previous fave contestants like Camille, Isis, Angelea, Bianca and Bre.  Get the deets inside....

 

Tyra Banks is returning for a 17th season (who knew?!) of "America's Next Top Model," and this cycle is all about the "All-Stars."  This season, all of the contestants competed in previous cycles of the show, which should make it pretty interesting. The new cycle premieres Wednesday, September 14 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Returning for another go around are these YBF chicks:

Camille McDonald, a 33-year-old who previously appeared on Top Model's season 2.  That body is on ridiculous status.

Bre Scullark, our forever fave, a 26-year-old who previously appeared on Top Model's season 5.

Bianca Golden, a 22-year-old who previously appeared on Top Model's season 9.

Isis King, a 25-year-old who previously appeared on Top Model's season 11.

SPOTTED: "Basketball Wives" Draya Michele & Jackie Christie Kickin' It In Beverly Hills

Well look at the new "besties."  Since their new VH1 show "Basketball Wives: LA" kicks off in a matter of weeks, it's only right two of the chicks, Draya Michele and Jackie Christie, were conveniently spotted kickin' it in Beverly Hills over the weekend.

Draya rocked a cream Gucci off-the-shoulder draw-string dress while Jackie wore her Bebe maxi dress while out and about over the weekend:

Those flip flps on Jackie make it seem like they just came from the nail shop.  At least I hope they were.  I see certain folks are getting ahead of the game with getting the paps on speed dial.  This season ought to be interesting....

Meanhile, the Bravo chicks are kicking off a "Housewives" tour on October 1st.  "Real Housewives" Nene Leakes, Luann De Lesseps, Kyle Richards, Phaedra Parks, Vicki Gunvalson, Caroline Manzo, Lisa Vanderpump, Sonja Morgan, Jill Zarin, and more are hitting Chicago, Atlantic City, and Atlanta to kick it with their fans. 

The details simply say the Housewives are going on tour and fans need to pay $49 to come mingle with them.  Or $170 to walk a red carpet and have premieum seats for "the show."  What show...who knows.  Y'all going?

Tyrese just dropped his brand new video for "I Gotta Chick" ft. Tyga.  It caused an uproar online after he released the behind-the-scenes footage a couple weeks ago with folks saying he was dissing black women by leaving them out of the video (all except 1 of the chicks were of that ever-present "ambiguous" background).  And now you can see the vid in full.

The former Xscape star and writer/producer is tapping into her uber sexy side.  Even more than she already does.  Clearly Kandi has no shame in her se game as she and her guests speak openly about her bedroom likes/dislikes/skills on her web show "Kandi Koated Nights."  Even when her mom is there as a guest.

So she's taking it to the next level with her own line of sex toys!

Kandi's having an official launch party for the products tomorrow in NYC at a hot new restaurant.  But sorry fellas--it's for females only (and invite only).

Bravo cameras will be in tow for a new show on the network.  Is Kandi getting her own spin-off?  Hmmm....

Kandi's pretty much the only Housewife of Atlanta that makes the show bearable enough for us to even watch a few episodes, so we support it.  DO YOU BOO!  Now that episode last season when Kandi and her mama were talking at Cynthia's brunch about putting sugar in their Pikachu to drive men wild is all making sense....

Jason and Tika were spotted out and about together in NYC last week as well. 

This video was shot in L.A. with director Colin Tilley.  And the two get a bit steamy on-set.  Jason's new album Future History hits stores Sept 27th.

BITTER EX FILES: Actress Hayley Marie Norman ARRESTED For Harassing Ex-Fiance's New Chick

Hayley Marie Norman, who's appeared on "Deal Or No Deal" holding briefcase #25, was arrested recently for sending "mean girl" messages to her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend and she might have even vandalized the chick's apartment!  Deets inside....

Hayley Marie Norman, who appeared in Will Smith's Hancock film, turned herself in to LAPD on Friday after her ex-boyfriend's new chick told authorities that Hayley sent her a text message that said, "You're a f**king c**t."

But it gets worse.....the new chick also said someone vandalized the outside of her apartment writing messages like "This girl sucks d**ks for free" and "This girl is a f**king c**t."

So Hayley turned herself in on Friday and was booked on the misdemeanor charge of making obscene or threatening phone calls.  So far, the jury is still out as to whether she will be charged with vandalism too.  Damn....Hayley goes hardcore with this ish.

Hayley was released a few hours later and hasn't spoken out about the charges publicly.  A woman scorned (or just uber jealous) aint nothin' to play with...
