Obviously, there are many gay men in fashion and entertainment that have amassed an exorbitant amount of wealth, but none of them can wield the kind of power that Tim Cook can.

It looks increasingly like Steve Jobs’ reign at Apple is over. If the CEO doesn’t return from his third, indefinite medical leave, COO Tim Cook will succeed him, marking a new era not only for Apple but for gay progress.

Cook, who is running Apple in Jobs’ absence, has been as reticent to acknowledge his sexual orientation as he has his prowess in overseeing the company supply chain. But as Jobs fades back, and as his absences grow more prolonged and uncertain, Cook will become, by necessity, a public figure. Apple is no longer a 1980′s-style computer company, segregated from broader society. Apple is one of the most powerful players in industries like publishing, music, movies, internet services, advertising, mobile communications and, of course, computer hardware and software. And the company and its leader have become cultural icons.

Cook, a famously quiet and collected person, will find his backstory, both personal and professional, the topic of increasing interest and discussion in the tech community. That new attention is a good thing for a man with a reputation as fearsomely good as Cook’s. Cook’s rise to his position—he is one of the most powerful corporate executives in the world, to say nothing of being the most powerful gay person in tech by a mile—is also a tribute to his skill and work ethic on the one hand, and to the utterly unconventional and unconventionally empowering people skills of Jobs on the other.

Keyshia Cole hit the ground running with her first solo album back in 2004 “The Way It Is”, which was full of heartache, pain and a sound her fans fell in love with. She followed up with two more albums that were pretty much giving them that same rawness along with her reality shows that backed up the craziness in her life…

Now Keyshia is singing to a new beat and is happy with the latest released 4th studio album “Calling All Hearts”, which everyone can expect but with happiness comes different type of music. It’s kind of like Mary J. Blige… she singed her heart out about how she was f**ked over for so long and when she finally found love, the tempo to her music became more upbeat and her fans weren’t really into it.

After analyzing Keyshia’s story, it seems to be really similar to Mary’s career. After the performance on Conan O’Brien the other day, one can tell Keyshia is in a totally different space and can enjoy her new life through her music but are the fans really into it or are they like Mary fans… only can enjoy the music when she’s down and life sucks???

The first lady is trying to save the youth and change their eating habits, and after taking a look at the kids around the local mall, we’re not mad at her.

Michelle Obama is really making an effort to change the way Americans view healthy food.

Her "Let's Move" campaign aims to promote exercise and better food choices for families, and already she has started to push for salad bars in school cafeterias, and encouraged food giants like Kraft and Coca Cola to stop serving out crap (for lack of a better word).

So, it makes sense then that companies who want to make the First Lady happy might heed her advice. And now Walmart is doing just that, by unveiling a plan to overhaul the types of food sold at its super center stores across the country.

"No family should have to choose between food that is healthier for them and food they can afford," stated Bill Simon, president and CEO of Walmart. "We are committed to working with suppliers, government and non-governmental organizations to provide solutions that help Americans eat healthier and live a better life."

Its not a joke people, the sh*t they tryna feed us nowadays WILL kill you if you don’t take care of yourself. Act accordingly…

London Hotel Threatens To Boot Barbz Out Of Her Hotel If She Can’t Control Her Minions

Having a cult like following can be a gift and a curse and while currently doing overseas promo, rapper Nicki Minaj is finding that out first hand.

Apparently, the management at The Dorchester hotel where she’s staying in London are fed up with hundreds of fans crowding outside and notified the female rapper that if she doesn’t have here minions leave the premises, she will have to get out.

Minaj tweeted this earlier today:

"Ugh! The lonon barbz r giving me life! They’re so passionate. They’re still @ the hotel. The hotel is threatening to kick me out".

Followed by,

"So the hotel made me walk out the “back” door and guess what? Paparazzi and Barbz… Lol. Ima need that hotel to sit. U aint stoppn nuthn"

It seems like Nicki’s UK stay hasn’t been all crumpets and tea. Young Money’s first lady was forced to cancel an appearance at London nightclub, Runway last night after a fight broke out at the venue.

She was scheduled to make an appearance at Runway following a performance at nearby club Oceana, but police presence because of the melee forced her to cancel.

As usual, Minaj kept her fans posted via Twitter, tweeting,

“Had a blast @ oceana! Security issues r now preventing us from entering runway…”

Don’t think Kim ever got love like this in her hey day…we’re just saying.

50 Cent’s Connecticut Mansion For Sale

While 50 Cent continues to release new music, the G-Unit head is also putting his 50,000 square foot mansion up for sale.

The Connecticut home which was previously owned by Mike Tyson, is being sold by Jamie Zdru of William Raveis Real Estate who describes it saying:

"Mr. Jackson’s home is truly an escape from the ordinary. The property provides an indulgence for the senses with a combination of 52 visually stunning rooms on 17 private acres….And for the impatient jetsetter’s longer trips, skip lines at the airport by boarding air transportation from a personal helicopter pad! There’s not much more you can ask for!"

The Hartford, Connecticut home also features a home theater, billiards room and nightclub. It’s reportedly listed for $9.9 million.
