Britney Spears Reportedly Collaborating With Gucci Mane On Her New Album

So … the latest word on the street about Britney Spears‘s forthcoming as-yet-untitled album is that our dear Britney will be collaborating with none other than Gucci Mane on one of her tracks. To be honest, I had a hard time believing this rumor when it first started going around this week but Gucci’s publicist has confirmed to XXL magazine that he IS, in fact, working with Brit on her new album. Do you think we should be worried?

This week rumors have been circulating that Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame were filming a reality TV show. XXLMag.com spoke exclusively to Gucci's publicist, Kali Bowyer, who confirmed that the Atlanta rapper is currently working on a series with Waka for BET. Bowyer also revealed to XXL that in addition to filming the show, a very busy Gooch has been in the studio recording with pop star Britney Spears and former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland. "We've been running around all day," Bowyer said. "We've been shooting a video. And then we'll be shooting another video with Kelly Rowland. Gucci's been working with Britney Spears. All while filming a reality TV show" As of press time, a release date has not been set on any of the records.

HMMMM. With all due respect to Gucci‘s publicist, I think I’m gonna wait for confirmation from someone in Britney‘s camp that this collaboration is really taking place. I suppose I can see how the two might work together on a track (e.g. he might “spit a rhyme” on one of her songs) but it does seem like an odd pairing. That being said, if the duo do work together on a track, I hope Gucci Mane will appear in the music video for the song … I would LOVE to see his new ice cream face tattoo in action on video.

‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ Releases A Newer Batch Of Promo Photos

Last month we got our first look at a batch of promo images from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and today we get to feast our eyes on a new batch of photos. Of import this time around is a much clearer look at Blackbeard the pirate. I wonder what wacky misadventures our beloved Captain Jack Sparrow will get into with this classic character.


These photos are fun. I can’t help but be excited for this new movie. I am sure it’s gonna be cheese-o-rama but I’m certain it’ll be a fun movie to see in theaters. Capt. Jack Sparrow has to be my fave Johnny Depp character … primarily because when I think of Johnny Depp in real life, I imagine he is pretty much exactly like Jack Sparrow ;)

A Close-Up Look At The New Spider-Man Reboot Costume

Earlier this week we got to see some photos from the SoCal set of the new Spider-Man reboot film and we got to see the new version of Spider-Man in action. Today we get to take a closer look at the new costume and speculate what changes are in store for the new webslinger. It appears that the new Spider-Man costume is outfit with mechanical webslingers on his wrists. Does this mean he will not be able to shoot webs directly from his wrists?

All this week we’ve seen photos and footage from the Los Angeles set of Sony’s upcoming reboot of the “Spider-Man” movie franchise. And while it’s always fun to analyze blurry, occasionally confusing shots of the film and its web-slinging hero in action, it’s even better when we get a nice, clean shot of the ol’ wall-crawler to scrutinize … Yes, that’s a brand new photo of Spider-Man in action while filming a scene in Marc Webb’s upcoming reboot — and there are at least two very interesting elements of the image that caught my eye right away.

THE MASK The first image of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man gave us a great look at the new costume our friendly neighborhood webslinger will sport in the relaunched film franchise, but it was missing one big item: the mask. While this new photo from the set of the film looks like it features the version of the costume used for stunts — likely to differ from the up-close, camera-friendly costume design — it does give us some indication of what to expect from Spidey’s mask. Everyone wondering about the size and shape of Spider-Man’s eyes on the costume might find at least some answer in the new photo — though fans of Todd McFarlane’s iconic large-eyed mask will likely be disappointed. Oh, and if you’re wondering about the red eyes, I’m pretty sure that’s just part of the stunt costume, not the final look (the same might be said of the “sneakers,” too — though we’ll have to wait for more official imagery to be sure).

THE WEB-SHOOTERS One of the biggest questions that popped up after we saw the first photo of the new Spider-Man costume involves the presence of those metal discs on Spidey’s wrists. Are they a modern take on the mechanical web-shooters Spider-Man began his career with, or just a contraption that facilitates organic web-slinging? Garfield’s co-star Emma Stone (who plays Gwen Stacy) only added fuel to the fires of speculation when she confirmed that they were “a device” to shoot webbing. In this new photo, we get an even closer look at the discs, and from a slightly different angle than we’ve seen in previous photos. I’m still not sure what conclusions to draw from this element of the photo.

You will also note that the blue and red of this reboot costume is a bit different from the colors that Tobey Maguire wore in his series of Spider-Man films. I’m not sure what to make of the mechanical webslingers just yet but I do love the new color scheme. It really looks like Marc Webb wants to make sure that his version of Spider-Man is different enough from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man of the early 2000s to set itself apart. It is way too early to tell if these changes will be welcomed or maligned but I’m keeping an open mind … for now. Are you?

Armani Releases New Rafael Nadal Promo Images For Spring/Summer 2011

Earlier today we got our first look at the new Armani promo photos for Spring/Summer 2011 that feature female celebrity spokesmodel Megan Fox. In that post, we learned that Armani decided to ditch former male celebrity spokesmodel Cristiano Ronaldo and replace him with tennis star Rafael Nadal. Right now we get to check out Nadal‘s superhot promo photos for Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans.

This is Nadal’s first time baring it for the cameras. He has endorsed Nike in the past but this is the first time, he’s bared his impressive body for a fashion brand. The top seeded tennis star had some spicy shoes to fill. He replaced sexy soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo as brand spokesperson. Before Ronaldo, soccer icon David Beckham had been the body of the brand since 2008. Becks has since started his own line of underwear.

Wow! Rafael Nadal looks HAWT, y’all! I mean, I’ve always known that he was hot but … yeah, he looks really good in these photos. To offset the sexy hotness, here are a couple behind-the-scenes photos of Nadal on the set of his photoshoot:

Britney Spears To Create A New Line Of Clothing For Sears?

Last Summer we got our first look at the Britney for Candie's: The Limited Edition Collection line of clothing that became available for sale at Kohl’s last Fall. Today we are hearing that plans are in the works for Britney to launch another clothing line, this time in conjunction with BCBG. According to a new report, Britney‘s BCBG clothing line will be sold at Sears and is supposedly called Spears For Sears.

2011 is shaping up to be a massive year for our girl Britney Spears. Her new single Hold It Against Me stormed onto radio last week and debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. Now comes word that Britney may be teaming up with BCBG to launch an exclusive clothing collection for Sears. According to reports, the line will be called "Spears for Sears" (cute, no?) and feature a mix of casual attire and outfits perfect for a date or concert. This won't be Britney's first time designing a collection. She also put her stamp on a line of clothing and accessories for Candie's last year, while also appearing in their campaigns.

HMMM … I mean … while the name of the line is clever, I’m not sure that I believe this “news” just yet. Britney‘s deal with Candie’s is still in effect (as far as I’m aware) and I’m certain the company will do everything it can to keep working with her. That being said, Sears has been throwing a lot of money around to attract celebrity designers to work with them and if Sears is able to give Britney a handsome deal, well, I can’t see how her people wouldn’t jump at the chance to have her design with BCBG (even if the clothes will eventually be sold at Sears). I’m gonna take this news with a grain of salt … but I’d be remiss if I didn’t pass along the possibility that this new clothing line might actually happen.

‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1’ Gets A New Title Logo

With a mere 10 months to go until the release of the fourth Twilight Saga film, it’s about time we start seeing some promo materials for the upcoming sequel film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. Today we get our first look at the official title logo for the film which, I’m sure you’ll agree, looks very much like the previous title logos we’ve seen before the previous Twilight films.


So … yeah … not too exciting … but at least it’s a start. Last week we got to see the steamy-ish first promo photo from the film (a photo which features Bella Swan and Edward Cullen nekkid in bed gettin’ bizzy) and today, the official title logo. Very soon we’ll start seeing promo posters … and then a trailer. Woo hoo! It won’t be long now, Twilighters … the Breaking Dawn promo onslaught is just around the bend.

Real People, Unreal Feats.

Last night David got us tickets to see a spectacular new stage show here in LA called Traces. The way David described it, I thought it was going to be more like a circus show. What we got was a 90-minute acrobatic dance performance that literally had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.


The show is a bit like Cirque du Soleil but without all the pageantry. The 7 performers (6 men, 1 women) performed amazing feats of acrobatics unlike anything I’ve seen before. It was really very stunning. David and I loved every second of it. The show is running in Hollywood until February 20 so you SoCal folks have a chance to check it out. It is really a great show, I think all y’all would love it.

Living in LA is just so good right now. The nights are cool and breezy, the days are sunny and warm … it’s like Summertime but without all the gloomy marine layer clouds ;D

Earlier today, I dropped David off at the airport because he is spending the next few days with his mom in Florida for her birthday. I’ll be flying solo for the weekend … but I think I’ll still have fun. Emma is planning to sleep over tonight so we can party all night long ;)

Ryan Gosling was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and he was cajoled (not really) by Kimmel to perform the song You Always Hurt the One You Love on the ukulele on national television. As some of you may be well aware, Gosling performs You Always Hurt the One You Love in his new film Blue Valentine so his performance last night was a great way to promote the film.


Is it just me or is it PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE not to fall in love with Ryan Gosling every single time he does something like this … well, every time he does anything, actually. This is a great performance by a great performer. Ain’t he just the cutest ever?

Zac Efron Is Hungry, Runs Out For Food

Earlier this month we got to see photos of the beefy-lookin’ Zac Efron showing off his new buzzed hair’do here in SoCal … which goes along nicely with his newly bulked up body. In addition to regular trips to the gym, Zac is required to eat well in order to keep lookin’ so well. Yesterday afternoon, Zac was spotted on on a food run to pick up some prepared meals from Zen Foods and, wouldn’t ya know it … homeboy looked damn good in the process.


You know, the more I see this manly-lookin’ Zac, the more I like what I see. Not only is his shorter new ‘do doing him a world of good but so is his bulked up physique. I knew some day Zac Efron would grow up and start looking like a man … I’m just glad that day has finally come. You eat your healthy meals, Zac … and keep on workin’ out at the gym. Also, please keep your hair shorter for a while longer … it’s a look that suits you … and a look that I greatly appreciate ;)

Another Look: Taylor Lautner In ‘Abduction’

On Wednesday we got our first look at Twilight star Taylor Lautner in a new promo photo from his new film Abduction (his first post-Twilight film) and today we get to check out a second promo photo from the film that also features Lautner‘s co-star Lily Collins.

Earlier this week, we got our first look at Taylor Lautner in his latest headlining film, Abduction. This time the actor doesn't have to share screentime with Robert Pattinson, and at the end of the day he gets the girl. A couple new photos have been released in promotion of the film including one that features the female lead Lily Collins … It looks like Lautner will spend the majority of this film in flight, running from cars, bullets, and knives … Abduction centers on a youth who discovers the parents who raised him aren't his real folks, a revelation that triggers events and leaves him running for his life. The film co-stars Sigourney Weaver, Alfred Molina, Elisabeth Rohm, and is directed by John Singleton. Yes, Boyz in the Hood John Singleton has directed a Taylor Lautner movie. Abduction is scheduled to hit theaters on September 23, 2011.

As I said before, I’m actually intrigued by the premise of this film and I am encouraged that Taylor will be starring with the likes of Sigourney Weaver and Michael Nyqvist. I think it also bodes well for the film that it is being directed by John Singleton … and Miss Lily Collins looks like a cute enough co-star. I think I’d like to check out this movie when it hits theaters this Fall. Anyone want to come with?

Are Jake Gyllenhaal & Taylor Swift Getting Back Together AGAIN?!

Ugh … hold on to your hats, y’all. People magazine is reporting that Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift, who split last month after “dating” for a few weeks, were spotted in each other’s close company on a dinner date in Taylor‘s hometown of Nashville, TN. As you may know, Jake spent last weekend here in SoCal before attending the Golden Globe Awards last Sunday but — apparently — he left town and made his way to see Taylor in Nashville! Is it possible that the couple are getting back together?!

Is Taylor Swift giving Jake Gyllenhaal another chance? The two stars, whose brief relationship fizzled in December, arrived quietly together on Wednesday at Bound’ry, a restaurant near Swift’s Nashville condo, and were led back to a table for two, according to another patron. “They did eat,” the patron tells PEOPLE. “They were cordial to one another, but not affectionate.” And another source tells PEOPLE that they seemed friendly. “There was no holding hands, but they seemed happy together,” the source says. “They sat next to the fireplace just chatting away.” The two were last spotted publicly together on Dec. 9.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This cannot be happening. I mean … really? Ugh. As you should know, Taylor has been flying sad and solo in Nashville since her relationship ended with Jake and homegirl has been throwing herself into her work. Mebbe THAT’S got Jake worried … cuz when Taylor is working, her ex-boyfriends tend to get skewered in her songs. Perhaps Jake is just trying to smooth things over with Taylor so that the pair can be friends … and so their relationship can stay out of her lyrics.

I mean … these two can’t be going at it romantically again … can they?

Armani Releases New Megan Fox Promo Images For Spring/Summer 2011

Giorgio Armani has released a couple of new promo photos from their upcoming Spring/Summer 2011 ad campaign featuring their “It” girl of the moment Megan Fox. As you may recall, Megan modeled for Armani all last year (alongside soccer stud Cristiano Ronaldo) and today we get to see her newest images for the fashion house giant.

She is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful women in the world. And Megan Fox has just done a little bit more to cement that reputation. The 24-year-old actress poses provocatively in a brand new advertisement for Giorgio Armani jeans and underwear. Reclining on a battered leather couch, the star shows off her curvy figure in a black lacy two piece. In another sizzling photograph, the star shows off the tattoos on her bare back as she poses in just a pair of Armani jeans. The script on her shoulder, from Shakespeare’s King Lear reads: ‘We will all laugh at gilded butterflies. And another tattoo on her ribs reads: ‘Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music.’ The shoot will form part of the spring 2011 campaign and will be appearing on billboards from next month. Tennis ace Rafael Nadal also features in the campaign for the designer’s jeans wear range, with a picture which shows off his toned torso. He replaces Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, who was the face of Armani men’s underwear.

It’s interesting that Armani decided to replace Ronaldo with Nadal as their male spokesmodel but keep Megan Fox as their female spokesmodel … clearly, Armani has got a lot of lurve for Ms. Fox. Megan looks good in these photos, as usual, but there is nothing special about them. These new photos look very much like the previous Armani ads she posed for last year. And, I mean, how many times has this tattoo thing been done? I am very much looking forward to the release of Rafael Nadal‘s Armani ads … he is sure to bring something new to the table.

Sandra Bullock Has NO COMMENT On Ex-Husband’s New Engagement

Yesterday we learned the tragically sad yet totally unsurprising news that reality TV tattoo artist Kat Von D got herself engaged to be married to Sandra Bullock‘s racist dirtbag ex-husband Jesse James. When asked for a comment about the couple’s announced engagement, Sandra had absolutely nothing to say at all on the matter. Her baby son Louis Bardo, on the other hand, conveyed his opinion on the engagement expertly.


Sandra very smartly had no comment on her ex-husband’s engagement news … tho, Louis Bardo did have one thing to say:


LOL!! Can you believe this little guy turns one year old this month?! Man, time flies. I really love how this little guy has his momma’s back :)

So, getting back to the trainwrecky wedding plans of Kat Von D and Jesse James, RadarOnline reports that the couple are SO IN LOVE that they are planning to get married as soon as possible … as in next month:

Jesse James and Kat Von D’s engagement came as a shock to most everyone, and now RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting that the inked couple plans on tying the knot within the next month. “Jesse and Kat don’t see any reason why they should wait to trade vows,” a source close to the couple explained. “They are madly in love with each other and want to make everything official.” According to the source, Jesse and Kat have already started planning their wedding, which will be small and happen outside of California.

This will be Jesse James‘s 4th marriage and Kat Von D‘s second marriage … but considering how many times Kat falls MADLY IN LOVE with a new guy, I’m sure this marriage to Jesse won’t be her last. To be honest, I can’t think of a couple more suited for one another … Kat and Jesse absolutely deserve one another and hopefully they will run away and disappear in happily wedded bliss … never to be seen again.

Victoria Beckham Suffering From Morning Sickness?

The newly pregs Victoria Beckham and her hottie soccer-playing hubby David Beckham were spotted making their getaway from Nobu in London, England last night in their pimped out Rolls Royce car. As expected, no photographs of VB and her (presumably) burgeoning baby bump were snapped … but we do get to see a few photos of Les Beckhams in their car … and poor Posh was not looking well. Might she be suffering the horrible pangs of morning sickness?

Nobu on Park Lane is usually one of the Beckhams’ first port of call when they arrive in town. But her favourite restaurant’s famous black cod may not have sat well with pregnant Victoria, who left the eatery looking rather ill after dining with husband David last night. After dinner the couple left in their Rolls Royce, with Victoria appearing pale and sickly. The 36-year-old was styled to perfection, as always, in a leather dress with blow dried hair and black nail varnish. But no amount of make-up could hide the designer’s red-rimmed eyes and pale complexion. Still in the early stages of pregnancy, Victoria – who is expecting her fourth child in the summer – may be suffering from morning sickness. Despite the less pleasant physical aspects of pregnancy, David, 35, and Victoria are over the moon. It has been reported this week that they have already asked their close friends Gordon and Tana Ramsay to be the child’s godparents. Online rumours suggest that the couple invited the Ramsays to dinner at Matsuhisa restaurant in Beverly Hills on October 22 to ask them.

Aww … poor Vicki B. I suppose it’s to be expected that she might feel a bit sick every now and then during her pregnancy. I don’t know that dining on sushi is the best way to fend off morning sickness but, well, she has already been thru this pregnancy thing 3 times before … I’m sure she knows what she’s doing by now. I hope, someday soon, we get to see Vicki B. walking around on her own two feet … I’m dying to see her her itty bitty baby bump looks like. Feel better, Posh.

Lindsay Lohan Gets Back To Work On A New Photoshoot

Lindsay Lohan, who we learned earlier this week has been a good little girl when it comes to checking in successfully with her probation officer, has been very quiet on her official Twitter profile. Except for the obviously SPAMMY tweets she occasionally posts in order to make some extra money, L. Lo has not been sharing much of her private life. That changed yesterday when Lindsay posted a couple photos from a photoshoot she did for the Japanese magazine JJ.

The last time we saw photos from a JJ magazine photoshoot, it was Lauren LC Conrad on the cover … and now it’s Lindsay‘s turn. I have to say, I’m glad to see that not only has Lindsay been behaving herself but it appears she has also been working diligently behind the scenes to keep her nose out of trouble. While L. Lo‘s recent photoshoots have been a bit of a bore, at least we know that she is working on something. Lindsay has a LONG road ahead when it comes to recovery … but if she takes things one day at a time, on photoshoot at a time … she just might make it thru. Just keep working, Lindsay.
