Commenter Of The Week: Jimmy Likes 'Bridalplasty' Posted: 21 Jan 2011 02:27 PM PST People think blogging is an easy job. It is not. You spend all day staring at a screen, only to come home and force yourself to watch hours of terrible television so you can go stare at a screen the next day and write all about it. It’s a life of voluntary sedentary stasis, and it feels not quite unlike that part of Clockwork Orange where they strap down Alec and make him watch all the lovely picture shows. And if ever there was a show that would be used as part of a psychological torture/rehabilitation program, it would be Bridalplasty. Don’t believe us? It seems one of the patients of Project: Plastic Face escaped from his chair and managed to write us a coded message under Liana Maeby’s recap from this week.
Jimmy! Jimmy what are you trying to tell us? Come back Jimmy! Come back here! Post from: Crushable |

Gallery: Kat Von D And Jesse James Are Irrationally Pleased With Themselves Posted: 21 Jan 2011 01:26 PM PST We really don’t get why Jesse James and Kat Von D insist on splattering their relationship all over the news. You would think that they would realize they were the worst – or at least he is the worst, and she’s just pretty awful just by association – and would try to tone down their media appearances. But instead these two go to every event that doesn’t have a dress shirt policy and open-tongue each other. Gross. And now they’re getting married (this is Jesse’s fourth time, after his last wife Sandra Bullock found out the same time as the rest of the world that he was cheating on her with Michelle “Bombshell” McGee) and claim that it’s going to be no big thang. Except of course they need to do it real soon, no reason, why are you asking? So either she’s knocked up, or they want their wedding theme to be “What a difference a year can make!” It’s inexplicable how proud these guys are to be together. We would love to tell them to get a room, but it would probably result in some new breed of sex tape previously unknown to the world. Blegh. Video: Does Pink's 'F*ckin' Perfect' Make Cutting Look Cool? Posted: 21 Jan 2011 12:00 PM PST Somewhere in the middle of high school, cutting yourself became a cool thing to do. It suddenly appeared one day on the radar as something people did -no d’uh – though I remember thinking at the time that we were probably the first generation of kids ever stupid enough to put something permanent on their bodies just because we hated our parents/school/whatever. (Tattoos and piercings didn’t count of course, because they were awesome.) When my friend Alisha rolled up her sleeves one day in math class and whispered with smug confidence that if her parents ever saw the scars she was hiding, she’d have to be taken out of school again, I remember thinking “What a moronic way to get attention.” I had zero sympathy for cutters, because it seemed like a manipulative cry for help. Like, could you be any more obvious? It was also super-disgusting looking, and not very subtle for people who were constantly claiming they didn’t want “anyone to see.” That was before my close friends started cutting themselves. And then family members. Pretty soon, it seemed like I was the only girl I knew that was too scared or too grossed out to take a razor and start hacking away at my arms or thighs. But I remember that feeling of nausea and bewilderment that came the first time I looked at my friend’s arm, and that’s the same feeling I have while watching Pink’s new video, “F*ckin’ Perfect.” Post from: Crushable Video: Does Pink's 'F*ckin' Perfect' Make Cutting Look Cool? |
