Gwyneth Is Difficult, Says Celebrity Tell-All!

Posted: 22 Jan 2011 12:40 PM PST

gwyneth-paltrow-is-difficul.jpg

Abbe Diaz, was a maitre d' at some of NYC's poshest restaurants. And now she's dishing on all their bad behavior in her new book PX Me: How I Became a Published Author, Got Micro-Famous, and Married a Millionaire.

Unfortunately for her, Gwyneth Paltrow does not come off well. She served Gwyn about half a dozen times between 2000 to 2004, and Diaz said the actress has a "passive-aggressive comportment … meant to unnerve the plebeians."

"If you're not worthy, it's like you're not there," she adds, but Gwyneth "likes boys" (as in servers) "as long as they're cute and sweet."

Another tidbit is that Will Smith is a "huge, huge" tipper "like 100%." She added that some stars seem to "remember what it's like to struggle a little bit for your cash."

Wowsa!

Jwoww Admits Her Ex Was Abusive

Posted: 22 Jan 2011 12:00 PM PST

If you haven't watched last night's Jersey Shore, let us warn you - it's heartbreaking. The bulk of the episode is focused on Jwoww's tortuous breakup with longtime BF Tom and to be honest, we had no idea how bad of a person he was until we saw it for ourselves.

After the show was over, Jwoww and her bestie Snooki made an appearance on the after show and talked about the split a bit more. In a gut wrenching confession, Jenni reveals that not only was Tom emotionally abusive, but physically as well.

We know Jen and while she comes off as a tough cookie, she is nothing if not the sweetest girl ever. She doesn't deserve this. (Nor does anyone really.)

Check out the clip (above) to hear Jwoww explain her situation in her own words.

The past is behind you, girl. You have a bright, happy future ahead of you, totally detached from this guy. Forget all about him. He's not worth a millisecond of your time.

Michael Lohan Agreed To Pay Betty Ford Worker!

It was recently reported that Lindsay Lohan's legal team agreed to pay Dawn Holland $25,000 after she refused to cooperate in the police investigation, and the former Betty Ford staffer denied it.

But Michael Lohan came forward to confess that he agreed to pay Holland, before she got "greedy."

He said:

"I am coming forward without regret, to tell the truth about the Dan Holland situation with my daughter. Lindsay. From the night of this occurrence, I have been aware of the entire situation.

Dawn DID assault Lindsay while demanding a urine (test) and took it to another level when Lindsay demanded the phone.

Since then, Dawn has had her attorney meet with me, negotiate with me and even propose a "deal" with me, her lawyer and Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Holly (Chapman) and while I agreed to Dawn Holland's initial "number", to procure financial stability due to getting fired, she got greedy and took it to another level.

Dawn DEMANDED that Lindsay agree to a sit down interview to make 'amends' for the sake of the public NOT because Dawn wanted to set the record straight, but because she negotiated a deal to make more money from the interview.

When Lindsay said that amends don't need to be a public thing, and she would NOT do it publicly, Dawn fired her lawyer and hired another one out of vengeance.

With Dawn Holland's record for abuse, her assault charges, her credibility and desire for money, I believe that he courts and public will see, that this is a woman, who motives and intentions (sic), to set Lindsay up, so she could have financial gain.

If she really was or is in "recovery", she would seek it in an emotional way, rather than financial.

If this was any other person, in the same situation, Dawn, nor the authorities would ever pursue it in this fashion."

Wowsa. Wonder if these their camps will put this to rest soon!

Captain America: The First Avenger…Coming Soon To Russia, South Korea, & the Ukraine!

captain america to change title in some countries

Looks like this will be a controversial move with hardcore Captain America fans, as well as Patriots everywhere.

The upcoming Marvel superhero movie Captain America: The First Avenger will have a much less patriotic title in South Korea, Russia, and the Ukraine.

In the countries we mentioned above, the title will be shortened to The First Avenger, which is a decision that was based on political factors "market research results."

Looks like the full title was cool with most countries, but Marvel, Paramount, and international distributors decided to make the change for the countries we listed.

Here's what the film's director Joe Johnston had to say about Captain America's international appeal:

"He wants to serve his country, but he's not this sort of jingoistic American flag-waver. He's just a good person. We make a point of that in the script: Don't change who you are once you go from Steve Rogers to this super-soldier; you have to stay who you are inside, that's really what's important more than your strength and everything. It'll be interesting and fun to put a different spin on the character and one that the fans are really going to appreciate … the idea that this is not about America so much as it is about the spirit of doing the right thing. It's an international cast and an international story. It's about what makes America great and what make the rest of the world great too."

And here's what competitor/X-Men:First Class director Matthew Vaughn had to say about it:

"It's going to be interesting to see how the movie does internationally with that character's name. I think changing it is smart."

We understand the reasoning for changing the title, but then again, he IS Captain America. They can shorten the title, but they can't very well change his name in the movie…unless they went more generic and called him Captain Planet.

We see no reason why that would be a problem.

Ha!

Do U think it's okay for them to change the title to appease certain countries? Or should it be the same everywhere?

Ricky Martin is heading to Broadway!

He'll play the role of Che in the upcoming revival of Evita, starring Elena Roger.

The show, which is set to premiere in spring 2012, will be directed by Michael Grandage who says he was impressed when he first met Ricky.

Producer Hal Luftig says that he "was at the top of our wish list and we sort of went after him. Ricky is the perfect showman. He knows how to win over an audience. And fortunately for us, he has always loved theater."

In a statement, Ricky spoke about his excitement for the role:

"I've been blessed with the opportunity to perform on many of the world's largest concert stages, but I've never lost my love for the intimacy of the theater. I'm delighted to know that after I've had the chance to share new music and tour over the coming year, that I will then return once again to Broadway. I'm looking forward to playing such an essential part in Michael Grandage's wonderful production and the chance to work with the tremendously talented Elena Roger."

Kim Kardashian Kredits Kanye For Konvincing Her To Sing

Posted: 22 Jan 2011 10:20 AM PST

kim thanks kanye for convincing her to sing

Yeezy taught her.

Okay, so maybe Kim K already knew how to sing, but Kanye was a major influence in her decision to lay down a track in the studio with The-Dream.

Here's what she had to say about it:

"OK, I'm not a singer, this isn't what I do. I have too much other stuff going on. Is this really something safe for me to do?"

"Kanye was actually one of the people who really talked me into doing it and telling me, like, 'Hey, look, what do you guys do for fun? You guys go shopping, you go to the movies. Kind of step into our world for a second and have fun, and we go to the studio.' "

More from Kim on Kanye being an influence:

"He's someone we look up to and just think as like, in the fashion world… someone that we've always just taken advice from. He wanted to come check out the store, and while at the store, I was really uncertain about the music thing."

And more:

"I'm just doing it for fun, and The-Dream wrote and produced the song, and Ciara talked me into doing it and said I should meet with him… It's just one song, and it's just for fun."

We like your attitude, Kim! Enjoy yourself, and we're sure it'll be reflected in the finished product, bb!

Keith Olbermann's No Longer On MSNBC: Was He Fired Or What?

Posted: 22 Jan 2011 09:00 AM PST

keith-olberman-fired-from-msnbc.jpg

There are some conflicting reports, but here is what we know. Last night, an abrupt end came to Keith Olberman's MSNBC show as the network decided to end their contract with him and count last night's broadcast as his final show.

The surprise announcement was a shock for everyone who enjoys watching the station's most-watched evening anchor, especially since we were all certain they got past whatever their disagreements were three months ago, after they suspended him and rehired him and all.

Neither side has offered an explanation for their split. On the air, Keith said his goodbyes and thanked viewers. MSNBC sent out this email just before Keith signed off, saying:

"MSNB thanks Keith for his integral role in MSNBC's success and we wish him well in his future endeavors."

And that was it. The network has already found a replacement for his time slot, meaning they were ready to pull this punch before Friday night and Keith is a free agent.

Or is he? One source is reporting that Keith didn't so much part ways with the network as he got fired from it! Insiders say Comcast exces, who bought out NBC, weren't pleased with Keith's "defiance" so they kicked him out. However, if this is the case, his contract is still in effect and he'll get the rest of his salary for the next two years - around $7 million a year.

Not only that, but being still under contract, he maybe forced to go into radio silence for at least 6 months.

So, this is like a really awesome paid vacation. No offense, MSNBC, but we think you made a HUGE boo-boo with this one. Keith now has his millions and time to play with them. What do you guys have?
