| James Franco's Silver Sundance Interview - Exclusive! Posted: 22 Jan 2011 06:00 PM PST  James Franco flashes a smile while greeting fans at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival on Saturday (January 22) in Park City, Utah. The 32-year-old actor was super patient and gracious, spending half an hour taking photos with everyone. JustJared.com had the chance to sit down with James at Silver, a restaurant-lounge that will be hosting the festival’s top films. When asked about his upcoming Oscars co-hosting gig, James said, “All I’m allowed to say is I’m singing and dancing!” “One of the producers at the Oscars saw a YouTube clip of me singing with this artist named Kalup Linzy,” he added. “And the producer was like, ‘Maybe James would be willing to have a couple of singing lessons.’ But whatever, I think I sounded pretty good with Kalup!” James also dished on his Sundance film, Three’s Company: The Drama, which is a remake of the popular 70s sitcom but with a twist. “We worked to make it more dramatic as well as we could. [The original episodes are] written in such a way where it’s like, set up, set up, joke. And so we really tried to work against that to see if we could transform it, to see if we could kind of point at other things that were being implied in the jokes and stuff that’s really underneath,” he shared. The 37-year-old actor recently settled a dispute with the producers of Giallo, a horror film he completed but hadn’t been paid for. A judge ruled in Adrien’s favor late last year, and the parties announced that they’d come to an agreement today and that the film will be distributed soon. “I very much enjoyed the process of making Giallo, and I am happy that things have been resolved and that people can now enjoy seeing the film,” Adrien said (via IFC).

At the bash, which was held at the former Miners Hospital, the 32-year-old actor showed off two different looks in honor of the film. The movie features a remake of the first three episodes of the popular 70s sitcom, with James starring as Jack, which the late John Ritter played.
