First Look: Britney Spears On The ‘Hold It Against Me’ Music Video Set [UPDATE]

Earlier today we learned that Britney Spears began filming her new music video for Hold It Against Me this weekend on the Paramount Studios lot and right now, courtesy of the fan site Breathe Heavy, we get our FIRST LOOK at Britney on the actual music video set!!!


Hello, hotness!! Oh and the half-nekkid guy looks pretty good, too! OMG … I don’t even know how photos like this manage to get snapped on “top secret” sets like this (well, yes I do — accidentally on purpose) but … Gods Bless the Internets! I am SO dying to see more. I hope we get a few more sneak peeks from the Hold It Against Me music video set … but, yeah, this is a great little tease, don’tcha think?

UPDATE: BritneySpears.com has been updated to report the photo above is NOT from Britney‘s music video set. To quote the site, the photo is “BullSh#!t!”

Alas … I guess we’re back to waitin’ for a first peek at the Hold It Against Me music video. Rats!

Scarlett Johansson Leaves A Medical Center With Her Face Covered

When last we saw Scarlett Johansson in public she was a sight to behold at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards. This weekend, ScarJo was spotted trying to sneak out of a medical center here in LA undetected. Unfortunately for her, she was detected and therefore felt the need to completely cover her face as she was led to her car by helpful staff people.


HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. What do you suppose Scarlett is hiding underneath this fugly scarf? Did she have a growth removed? Some fillers injected? A nose reduction? The mind boggles at the possibilities. Scarlett did have to remove the scarf from her face once she got in her car so we do get a quick peek of what horrors she was trying to hide from sight under her covering:


It’s hard to tell … her lips kinda look bigger … but she’s got bigger lips anyways so I can’t be sure. I highly doubt homegirl had anything done to her face that required such ridiculous head covering precautions … but if we do see Scarlett Johansson in the future with a third eye stitched onto her forehead, we’ll know form whence it came.

Ain’t That The Pits?

Because David flew off to the East Coast to be with his mother on her birthday for the next few days, I thought it would be fun to have Emma over for a sleep over on his first night away. While I did have a blast with Emma (and Josh), it wasn’t so much a proper sleep over … it was more like an all night boozefest. I refrained from the serious drinking, leaving all that funness for Emma.


After I did a bit of excellent vinyl shopping in Silverlake at Vacation Vinyl (Patti Smith, Ryan Adams, Björk and more), I met up with Emma to begin our night of fun. We then met up with Josh and Michael and then en masse hit the town. After a quick swingby at FUBAR for the book release event for the Sex in Drag book release party, we made our way to The Tar Pit bar for drinks with Emma and Josh’s friends. It was actually fun bopping all over town ’til the wee hours of the morning.

This evening, Darion and I are planning to hang out with Jordan and then later my other friend Josh and I are doing some hanging out of our own. The temps will be in the high 70′s this weekend so … it’s gonna be a great couple of days :D

Britney Spears Films Her New Music Video This Weekend

At last … the time has come … this weekend, prolly right at this very moment, our dear Britney Spears is filming a music video directed by Jonas Åkerlund for her new monster hit #1 single Hold It Against Me. Cameras caught Britney as she made her arrival at Paramount Studios here in Hollywood, CA and choreographer Brian Friedman posted updates on his official Twitter profile leading up to today’s shoot.

About 2 look @ the set for HIAM… Last day of rehearsal went well. Now its time 2 shoot!!! @britneyspears / Must sleep b4 the big day tomorrow… Early call time but I have 2 make time 2 put on some guyliner! A smoky eyes a must w/ @britneyspears / Good luck 2 @britneyspears and all of my incredible dancers. You all have surpassed my expectations and I am so thankful for ur hard work!

You may recall that on Thursday we got our first look at one of the design sketches for one of the costumes Britney will wear in her new music video … she may be wearing that beautiful costume RIGHT NOW! Like, right at this very second, Britney could be dancing to the song that much of the world has been obsessed with ever since it was released last week. OMG … the mind boggles. I’m guessing the shoot will take more than one day and it will take weeks still before it gets released so … we still have some time to wait. BUT … the video is being filmed THIS WEEKEND … so we are that much closer to it’s release. Won’t you SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE along with me?

Lindsay Lohan Gets A Warm Welcome In Venice, CA

Lindsay Lohan has only been living in Venice, CA for a few weeks now but she’s already been met by a very warm welcome. No, I’m not talking about her new next door neighbor (and ex-girlfriend) Samantha Ronson, I’m talking about a street artist named Jules Muck. Muck painted a piece of street art in L. Lo‘s new home city welcoming her to town.


All in all … this is a very nice welcome, I think. Not sure why Lindsay has to be green but … it’s art, I like it. Considering how well Lindsay has been behaving and how hard she’s been working lately, I can understand why some citizens of Venice might be happy to have her living in their town. Hopefully she’ll keep on the straight and narrow and won’t bring shame (and the rabid paparazzi) to her new city … otherwise, the citizens may retract their welcome and drive her out of town with torches and pitchforks ;)

Jake Gyllenhaal Returns To LA From A Nashville Visit With Taylor Swift

Yesterday we learned the disturbing news that Jake Gyllenhaal flew to Nashville, TN to have a semi-public dinner with his “ex-girlfriend” Taylor Swift in order to, some speculate, rekindle the couple’s failed romance. Others guessed that Jake was just making the courtesy effort to let down Taylor properly since reports maintain that he broke up with her over the phone. Whatever the case may be, Jake‘s visit to Nashville was very short because homeboy flew back to SoCal last night.


I’m in the “he was just being a nice guy” camp and believe that our dear Jakey poo made a courtesy visit to Nashville to let Taylor down easy. While I would hardly call the couple’s weeks long dalliance an actual “relationship”, I do think that Jake understands that Taylor is a very young girl who needs to be dumped properly at the end of a relationship … because as a very popular singer famous for writing songs about her failed relationships, it would behoove Jake greatly to stay on Taylor‘s good side. But … Jakey is back home (alone) here in SoCal and Taylor is gettin’ ready to hit the road on tour. Let’s hope never the twain shall meet again … for the sake of everyone (including us) concerned.

Tiffany Outs New Kids On The Block Singer Jonathan Knight On National TV

Back in February of 2009, Kyle Wilker outed New Kids on the Block singer Jonathan Knight in The National Enquirer by selling photos of the pair when they were a couple back in the day. This week, former popstar Tiffany outed Jonathan on national television when she appeared on the late night TV show Watch What Happens Live on Bravo TV. Tiffany dished to host Andy Cohen about how she used to date “shy” and “quiet” Jonathan before he “became gay”. Unfortch for Jonathan, he hasn’t actually come out of the closet publicly so … clearly Tiffany can’t keep a secret!

On Thursday’s Watch What Happens Live, Tiffany told Andy Cohen she was once involved with Knight — and then goes on to describe him as “the quiet one. The shy one. He’s fabulous. But he became gay later.” Not missing a beat, Andy responds, “Did you turn him?” And then Tiffany reveals the obvious clues: “No. I had issues with that, I was thinking maybe I did. But no, now looking back when we were dating, he was so much fun — we used to do facials together, he was so easy to talk to, and he was fabulous.” (Chimes in fellow guest Debbie — sorry, Deborah — Gibson: I had gay BFs too!)

Altho Jonathan hasn’t publicly come out, he doesn’t seem to mind very much that people keep dragging him out of the closet. Yesterday, Jonathan posted a series of tweets on his official Twitter profile letting people — and Tiffany especially — know that he isn’t mad at his former girlfriend for revealing his sexuality:

I’m so devastated…………. / How can I not remember getting facials??????? / I’d also appreciate it if the people talking trash about Tiffany and Deborah knock it off and stop being nasty! / @tiffanytunes Tiff, please don’t lose any sleep over it! I know you weren’t being mean and I found it to be funny! / @tiffanytunes Knock em dead tomorrow! Wishing nothing but the best for you always!

Altho not an admission, I think it’s pretty clear that Jonathan is very happy with who he is and he is fine with his friends talking about him with love. Oh Tiffany … just can’t keep a secret, can you? Ah well … I guess it was all harmless fun. If Jonathan don’t mind, why should anyone else?

That said, I think we need to have Tiffany on TV more often … I wonder what other secrets she has left to spill publicly.

Oprah Winfrey Has A SHOCKING Family Secret To Share

Oprah Winfrey, who seemingly never runs out of ideas to win ratings for her long-running daytime TV talk show The Oprah Winfrey Show, has announced only the latest must-see event to take place on her show. Oprah has been reuniting estranged family members for years on her show but on Monday, she will have a family reunion of her own. Oprah promises to reveal a family secret on Monday’s show that she only became aware of a few months ago … and she calls a “miracle”.

Oprah Winfrey will be giving her daytime talk show fans something to talk about next week. She is staging a family reunion on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on Monday and said she plans to reveal something she’s recently learned that only a few people close to her know. “I thought I’d seen it all. But this, my friends, is the miracle of all miracles,” Winfrey said in a promotional clip. “I was given some news that literally shook me to my core. This time, I’m the one being reunited. I was keeping a family secret for months, and on Monday you’re going to hear it straight from me,” she added. Her production company, Harpo, declined to provide further details on Friday. Winfrey was born to unwed teens and was raised at various times by her grandmother, mother and father and stepmother in Mississippi, Wisconsin and Tennessee. She got pregnant at age 14, but her baby died a short time later. Earlier this week on Piers Morgan’s CNN show, she said she wouldn’t be where she is today if she had had the baby.

OMG … what could it be? Truth be told, I don’t spend much time thinking about Oprah Winfrey but this tease has really intrigued me. Oprah‘s life story is really amazing … her life could’ve turned out so differently, so tragically … but instead, she became one of the world’s most influential people. I am DYING to know what her family secret is. Will we find out who her parents are? Will we find out that she actually has a secret love child … who grew up to be Beyoncé?!?

Wonder Woman WILL Return To TV Next Fall

Back in October, we learned the exciting news that producer David E. Kelly was working on a plan to bring Wonder Woman back to TV in a new series that he wrote. After a bit of stalling, it was reported earlier this month that all of the US networks passed on the series and the show was shelved indefinitely. Today we learn that NBC has changed its mind and decided to pick up the series after all … which means that Wonder Woman will return to TV next Fall!

Wonder Woman will fly this pilot season after all. New NBC entertainment president Bob Greenblatt capped a day of high-profile pilot pickups with a surprise order to David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman reboot … WBTV took Kelley’s Wonder Woman spec out to the networks in the first week of January. At the time, NBC was the most interested but, with Greenblatt still on the sidelines, the network couldn’t commit to the type of license fee that the studio was seeking in order to do the show Kelley had envisioned, and WBTV decided to shelve the project. With Greenblatt now firmly taking the reins and Kelley just delivering one of the most promising new series for NBC this season, Harry’s Law, NBC stepped up to greenlight Wonder Woman. The project is described as a reinvention of the iconic D.C. comic in which Wonder Woman — aka Diana Prince — is a vigilante crime fighter in L.A. but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life. “I had a lot of fun writing it,” Kelley said of the script at TCA last week when the project had just been put on hold. “It’s a huge project, and it was probably a bit too much to ask anyone to try to chew on it for next season. But I’m confident it will still happen. It’s a very complicated piece, which is the most fun thing about it.”

So now that we know that Wonder Woman is returning to TV, I can go back to being very worried about the series. I am not sure how happy I am to learn that Wonder Woman/Diana Prince‘s story will change in this new series. A corporate executive by day? Vigilante by night? And these are only just the first changes we’re hearing about … it stands to reason that WW‘s iconic costume will be changed as well. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. As I mentioned before, I have much faith that David E. Kelly can do right by the beloved character … but these changes do sound worrisome to me. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this new “reboot” (you will note, this is the first time the new Hollywood alt/buzz word “reboot” has been used when referring to this Wonder Woman series) pans out … but it’s coming … whether we like it or not.
