Jamie Lee Curtis Opens Up About Her Deceased Father Tony Curtis

Jamie Lee Curtis is opening up about her legendary father Tony Curtis, who passed away last month - and she doesn't seem to have the nicest things to say about him.

In a recent interview, Curtis was frank about her father's role in her life, saying, "he was not a father."

She added:

"The invention of Tony Curtis was his life. He was in the navy, he was present for the Japanese surrender in Tokyo Bay - then he became this whole other thing, he changed his name and he changed his life.

Children, as we all know, are complicated and messy. He was not a father and he was not interested in being a father. It's not a slant against him, he was very clear. He did what he was supposed to do from a financial standpoint, which was honorable of him but he was not an involved father."

Jamie Lee says that she and her father were not close however, she did say that, "we are the evidence of him. We walk the walk led by him. All of us got something from him. I, of course, got his desperate need for attention."

It's sad when children don't have close relationships with their parents, especially when one of their parents is one of the most well-known actors in our time.

Here's hoping she finds some closure.

Michael Bolton Thinks DWTS Judge "Should Search His Soul"

Aw, come on, Michael Bolton! Lighten up!

The singer is still singing the bitter blues after Dancing with the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli gave him a "mean-spirited" critique the night he was voted off the dancing competition show.

Michael says he has asked for a public apology after Bruno called his routine "the worst jive in 11 seasons" and said he did it "very, very, very badly."

Although he has yet to receive an apology, Michael says he won't ask twice, adding:

"I don't wish to pressure the show … I don't blame them. Nor do I wish ABC to put any pressure on him. I think it's a personal epiphany [Bruno] may have to have/ I asked for it in one interview and I felt he should express a public apology to me. I think asking once is enough, and I don't want my friends, fans and supporters to ask for it. It is what it is."

The show's producers have defended their judge, saying he was only doing his job and he gave an honest opinion about Michael's dance routine.

Michael says he enjoyed his time on the show and praises the cast and crew saying, "The producers and the people who work for them are phenomenal at making you feel as comfortable as possible," however he does have one thing to say to Bruno:

"Bruno should search his soul for what he is doing on that show."

WAAH! WAAH! No one likes a crybaby, Michael!! Just move on and be thankful you even got the chance to be on the show.

Octo-Doctor Admits He Was Wrong

Well, it's about time!!

Fertility specialist, Dr. Michael Kamrava, admits that he made a mistake when he implanted Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman with a dozen embryos.

Even though it was against his better judgement, he told his attorney in a hearing last week that could lead his license being revoked, that he shouldn't have given in to Nadya's insistence to implant her with so many embryos.

When asked whether or not he felt what he did was wrong, Dr. Kamrava wiped away tears and replied:

"I'm sorry for what happened. When I look back at it, I wish I had never done it and it will never happen again. At the time that I did it, I thought I did the right thing. When I look back at it, even with all those circumstances, I was wrong."

During the time he was treating Nadya, he recommended that he just implant four embryos instead of twelve. However, he said that Nadya "just wouldn't accept doing anything else with those embryos. She did not want them frozen, she did not want them transferred to another patient in the future."

So despite feeling "apprehensive," he gave in to her demands and implanted all twelve, even though he knew of the consequences.

When he heard the news that octuplets had been born, he assumed they were Nadya's. He responded, "It's a very risky pregnancy. She's lucky she made it through, both for the babies and her."

The doctor says that since the birth of the octuplets, he's taken an ethics course, changed the staff in his office and lab, and is now adhering to the national guidelines that restrict the number of embryos he can implant in a patient. If patients do not agree with those guidelines, he says then, "I just don't take them."

Dr. Kamrava's testimony will continue on Monday. Nadya is not expected to testify.

Simon's Mom Says "The Engagement Was Too Quick"

Did Simon Cowell break off his engagement to make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy??

That's what Simon's momma is saying.

While Simon is off filming X Factor in London, Mezhgan has flown back to Los Angeles to be with her parents, which has Momma Cowell thinking that the relationship is over.

Julie Cowell says:

"It's a break at the moment. The problem with Simon is that he works so hard. She's gone to America which, in a way, is a good thing because of Simon's work. At the moment it isn't a good idea for her to be here.

She doesn't know many people in London. If you are Simon's girlfriend, let's be honest about this, you are not going to see very much of him. It's very difficult for a girl to accept that. He doesn't want anyone sitting in his dressing room when hess working. Sometimes these girls want to be there too much."

Ouch! Seems a little harsh…

However, Mrs. Cowell does say that the two are still close and that marriage could still be something in their future. She adds:

"They are on good terms and I'm sure are in regular contact. Simon remains friends with all his ex-girlfriends. I think [the engagement] was too quick. This might give them the break they need to think it through. Marriage is a very, very big step."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Simon says that the two are still "very much together" and that Mezhgan is due to return to the UK in the next week or so.

Hmm, we're not sure who to believe here! It seems that Momma always knows best!

It's Another Girl For Matt Damon!

Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, welcomed a baby girl into their family last week in New York. The couple named their new daughter, Stella Zavala.

The couple has two other daughters, Isabella, 4, and Gia, 2. Luciana also has a daughter, Alexia, from a previous marriage.

Damon's rep released a statement on the family's well-being, saying, "Mom and baby are both healthy. The whole family is thrilled."

We bet! Congratulations to the whole family!
