TRACK OR TREAT: Nicki Minaj Feat. Eminem "Roman's Revenge" + T.I. Tweets Goodbye Posted: 31 Oct 2010 09:10 AM PDT
Well stans and barbies, the time is approaching for the release of Nicki Minaj's album Pink Friday, which hits stores November 21. We have her latest single "Roman's Revenge" featuring Eminem, where she indirectly takes shots at other female rappers (**cough** Lil Kim). Plus read T.I.'s last tweets to his fans before he hits the slammer tomorrow...
Listen to Eminem go head-to-head with Nicki's alter ego, Roman Zolanski, on this Swizz Beatz produced track "Roman's Revenge."
Hmmm. Could she be talking about the Queen B? SO DO WE LOVE IT?
T.I. will report to Forrest City prison in Arkansas tomorrow to begin serving an 11-month jail sentence. He took to his twitter to thank his fans for all their support during this troubling time.
The road to redemption has been hard to say the least for T.I., but hopefully this stint back to jail will teach him a lesson. |
ON THE SET: 50 Cent/Lloyd "Let's Get It In" + T.I./Chris Brown "Get Back Up" Posted: 30 Oct 2010 11:10 AM PDT
Looks like T.I. is really putting in work before he reports to jail on Monday. He just shot a video with Chris Brown for a single from the album No Mercy. See flicks from the set of "Get Back Up," plus Lloyd and 50 Cent shooting a video for "Let's Get It In" inside...
Looks like both artists are really hands-on with the vid's direction. There's still no firm release date for No Mercy, but some say it may drop in December.
Colin Tilley will be directing the video for the Polow Da Don produced track "Let's Get It In" for Lloyd and 50 Cent. The song will be on Lloyd's upcoming album King Of Hearts. You would think 50 would have learned to steer clear of chat-inspiring photos such as these...after that XXL Soulja Boy cover. Colin Tilley also directed Chris Brown’s “Yeah 3x” and “The Matrix“ videos, so this should be interesting. Check out the song here: Photos via RapRadar.com |
TV FAB: Soulja Boy Has "Wall Street Journal Conversations" + Kerry Washington Stops By "106 & Park" Posted: 30 Oct 2010 09:41 AM PDT On Friday, Soulja Boy was in New York City to take part in the Wall Street Journal's "Weekend Conversations," where he discussed how he got his big break by using various media outlets to his advantage. Plus Kerry Washington hit up BET's 106 & Park to promote her new movie For Colored Girls. We have the pics when you read on... Soulja Boy sat down for an open discussion with the Lee Hawkins for the WSJ's series at Lincoln Center along with performing for his fans. Soulja Boy let journalist Lee Hawkins stunt in his diamond chain. WSJ is a good look. I just wish he would pull up his damn pants! Fun Facts: "Crank That" was at No. 1 for seven weeks and has sold more than 10 million digital downloads and 12 million ringtones, Soulja's videos have more than 500 million views on YouTube, and he has 2.5 million Twitter followers. Actress Kerry Washington stopped by 106th and Park to promote her new movie For Colored Girls. She opted out of wearing a costume on set but Rocsi and Terrance J were definitely in the Halloween spirit. Rosci rocked an Avatar outfit and Terrenace was a member of Run DMC. Always FAB! Her skin is amazing! She wore a dress from the Fall 2010 Herve Leger collection, black hidden platform pumps and donned a sexy beach wave hairdo. Nice. For Colored Girls hits in a theater near you November 5th.
