Madonna Is Opening Her Own Franchise Of Fitness Centers Around The World

Madonna has announced that she and business partner Guy Oseary are launching a franchise of fitness centers around the world named for her album Hard Candy. As you may recall, the promo images from the Hard Candy era were gym-inspired … and clearly, that is all it takes for Madonna to get the bright idea to open up fitness centers of her own. Here is the full text of Madonna‘s press release announcement of the launch of The Hard Candy Fitness Centers:

Madonna in partnership with her manager Guy Oseary and New Evolution Ventures (NEV) announced the establishment of Hard Candy Fitness global gyms which will open in major cities around the world. The first Hard Candy Fitness is a beautiful and uniquely designed 30,000 square foot space which is scheduled to open in Mexico City mid November in the exclusive Bosques de las Lomas area. Madonna will be visiting the gym on the 29th of November for the official launch. Throughout her career Madonna has been devoted to fitness and well being and has worked out in literally hundreds of gyms around the world. As a result, she has a strong vision on what the ideal exercise, dancing and work out environment should be. The direction for how to bring that vision to the fitness world began to take shape during an initial meeting between Mark Mastrov, the innovator behind 24 Hour Fitness and Guy Oseary early in 2008. Mastrov has built a fitness empire of over 420 clubs in 16 countries. Mastrov, his partner Jim Rowley of NEV, Craig Pepin-Donat, the Vice President of Marketing and Development, along with Madonna and Oseary, are now in the planning stages of opening 10 more locations in Russia, Brazil, Argentina and throughout Europe and Asia.

David Arquette & Coco Riley Go Pumpkin Picking

Earlier today we saw photos of single dad Gabriel Aubry with his daughter Nahla Ariela enjoying some bonding time at the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Beverly Hills, CA and right now we get to see a couple photos of another single celebrity dad and his daughter at the pumpkin patch as well. David Arquette stepped out with his daughter Coco Riley for the first time alone since news came out of his split with wife Courteney Cox … behold:

David Arquette isn’t letting his split from Courteney Cox get in the way of bonding time with daughter Coco. Arquette, 36, took his little girl to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood for a day of face-painting and fun on Sunday. “David and Coco had a great time together at the pumpkin patch. Coco had her face painted like a cat and she looked adorable,” an observer tells PEOPLE. “She also seemed happy about spending time with her dad. David looked great and was in a wonderful mood as well” … “David was very sweet and patient with Coco,” the observer says. Even when the valet mixed up several car keys and tried to give Arquette the wrong car, “he stayed calm and still gave a great tip,” the source adds.

As you may recall, last weekend David and estranged wife Courteney reunited in public in a show of unity for Coco at one of her horse shows. This trip to the pumpkin patch, tho, was the first time David stepped out solo with his little girl in the wake of his split drama. Despite the stuff her parents are going thru personally, it looks like both parents are stepping up to ensure that Coco‘s life is as untouched by their drama as possible.

Sean Penn Gets Smoochy On The Set Of His New Film

Last week we got to see a couple photos of Sean Penn lookin’ super sad on the set of his new film This Must Be the Place. As you may know, Penn plays an aging and bored rocker named Cheyenne who sets out on a mission to find the ex-Nazi who executed his father during WWII. Today we get to see one more photo of Sean on set … still in full costume and make-up … lookin’ like he’s ready to do some smoochin’ with some lucky lady person:


Yeah, I’m sorry … I just … can’t. Despite how serious this film sounds, I cannot take Sean Penn in any serious manner when he looks like this. I know it’s not really funny but every photo I’ve seen of Sean Penn on the set of this movie has literally made me LOL. If he’s lookin’ for another Oscar with this role … he better look pretty hard.

‘Playgirl’ Magazine Offers $100k To ‘Glee’s Mark Salling & Chord Overstreet To Pose Nekkid

In response to those racy photos in GQ magazine of Glee stars Dianna Agron and Lea Michele stripped down to their bras and panties, Playgirl magazine has made a serious off to Glee stars Mark Salling …


… and newcomer Chord Overstreet …


… to pose nekkid within the pages of their magazine — to the tune of $100,000.00 each:

“Glee” stars Mark Salling and Chord Overstreet have been offered $100,000 to pose for raunchy women’s magazine Playgirl … And they are offering the pair a massive $100,000 pay cheque to strip off for the publication, which has previously seen stars including Brad Pitt and Keith Urban undress for sexy photo shoots. A representative for the magazine says, “We would be very willing to pay for them both – up to $100,000. And it wouldn’t have to be fully X-rated, either.” The news comes just days after officials at the Parents Television Council fiercely criticizued Agron and Michele for posing as sexy cheerleaders in the new GQ spread, branding the photographs borderline “paedophilia”.

I, for one, would chip in some of my personal funds to sweeten the deal in order for the guys to say YES and strip down. Maybe we can start a collection to get even more money for them? Who’s with me?

Yeah, I understand that both Mark and Chord have, sadly, turned down Playgirl’s offer but … we can always hope they’ll change their minds, can’t we?

The Brangelina Twins Take Budapest

In early October we learned that Brad Pitt and his twin children Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon made their way to Hungary so that they could be with mommy Angelina Jolie while she directs her new film there. Since then, we’ve seen a bit of Brad and Angelina together but nary a sight of the kiddies … until now. Over the weekend Vivienne and Knox stepped out in Budapest to see some of the Hungarian sights … behold:


New photos of the Brangelina twins out in public are about as rare as a unicorn sighting … you gotta enjoy them when they surface cuz you never know how long it’ll be til they pop up again. The young’ns are gettin’ so big … mostly in the cheeks area. They look like the cutest little chipmunks, don’t they? I hope we get to see more of them around Budapest … even at such a young age, I’m sure they’ll be able to appreciate the city’s natural beauty.

‘Back’ In Time

25 years ago today the classic 80′s film Back to the Future opened in theaters … tonight, on the 25th anniversary, David and I will be joined by our friends Emma and Josh for a screening of Back to the Future on the big screen:


Josh found out that AMC Theaters around the country are screening Back to the Future today in celebration of the film’s 25th anniversary and we jumped at the chance to attend. This film is honestly one of my favorite films of all time … and I’ve never seen it in a theater. I am so excited, I can’t even tell you.

I hope your Mondays are going well … it’s the final week of October, y’all. Enjoy the Hallowe’en fun while you still can ;)

Brooklyn Shows His Tattoo, Victoria Shows Her Love & David Beckham Shows His Undies

The Beckham family had themselves a very bizzy weekend so we’ve got a bunch of really cool photos to check out today. First up, eldest Beckham child Brooklyn Joseph was spotted playing a bit of soccer with his younger brother Romeo James and managed to show off a tattoo of a Chinese symbol on his right wrist:


Considering how young Brooklyn is, I think it’s very safe to assume that this tattoo is not a real tattoo … but it’s pretty clear that the Beckham boys are going to follow their parents’ lead in the tattoo department as soon as humanly possible. The boys have already started their soccer careers, there’s no reason to believe that they won’t want to emulate their famous parents in every way possible.

Next up, we get to see a couple of ADORABLE photos of Les Beckhams being affectionate with their sons. Here’s a photo of Vicki B. smoochin’ on Brooklyn right next to an even cuter photo of Becks smoochin’ on the youngest Beckham child Cruz David:


Couldn’t you just die?! These pics are both cute … but Becks kissing Cruz is just … OY! A.DOR.ABLE.

I’ve got a couple other photos that will make you David Beckham fans die … but in an entirely different way. During his soccer game this weekend, Becks — who normally strips off his jersey after a match — decided to switch things up and stripped off his soccer shorts, showin’ off his tiny whitie undies for all to see on the soccer field. UM …. HELLO there Becks! I think this is about as close as we’re ever going to get to seeing David Beckham in his underwear — for real. In his underwear ads for Emporio Armani, Becks is airbrushed (and some say stuffed) to perfection … these photos show us what Becks really looks like in real life when he’s just standin’ around in his undies. It’s a sight of him I think I like … a lot. What do y’all think? Are these photos hotter than the “perfect” Armani Underwear ads?

Gabriel Aubrey & Nahla Ariela Go Pumpkin Picking

Last week we saw a few supercute photos of Halle Berry and her daughter Nahla Ariela having a great time together at the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Beverly Hills, CA … and today we get to see new photos of Nahla back at Mr. Bones but this time with her daddy Gabriel Aubrey. Either Gabe was not aware that Halle had already taken Nahla to the pumpkin patch just a few days before or he just wanted to share the experience with his daughter … in either case, Nahla got to visit the pumpkin patch twice in just a few short days:


Earlier today we saw photos of Halle making her red carpet debut with new man Olivier Martinez at the 2010 Carousel of Hope Ball on Saturday night … so mebbe Gabriel thought it would be a great idea to hang out with his daughter the following Sunday morning (when these photos were taken). To be honest, it doesn’t look like Nahla had as much fun at the pumpkin patch with her daddy this time as opposed to the first time she went with her mommy. Methinks daddy should’ve taken Nahla to Disneyland instead.

Halle Berry & Olivier Martinez Make Their Red Carpet Debut Together

After Halle Berry took a day off last week from flitting around SoCal with her new boyfriend Olivier Martinez so that she could take her daughter Nahla Ariela to the pumpkin patch on Friday, Halle reconnected with Olivier Saturday night and seemingly made their new romantic relationship official. The couple made their red carpet debut together at the 2010 Carousel of Hope Ball here in Los Angeles, CA. Oh yeah, I think it’s very safe to say that these two are SO together now:

As if the photos of them canoodling all over the globe weren’t enough of a statement, Halle Berry and her new man Olivier Martinez made their romance official the Hollywood way: by walking the red carpet together. The impossibly photogenic duo surfaced at the 2010 Carousel of Hope Ball in Los Angeles on Saturday night. The star-studded gala included a duet by power couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. The actress, who looked stunning in a red satin sheath gown, cozied up to her French beau (who looked dapper in a black suit and crisp white shirt) once inside the bash. Berry, who split with Gabriel Aubrey in the spring, met Martinez on the set of their upcoming film Dark Tide.

Ya know … even tho we’ve seen many photos of these two together, I still can’t see them as the right fit for one another. Despite the fact that they’ve “gone public” there is still no way of knowing if this relationship has any real staying power. As far as we know, Halle has not yet introduced her daughter to the new man in her life … I think if that happens, then they will have moved to the next step. But, considering that the pair are now attending big events together as a couple … it’s pretty much game on. So … what should we call them?

Newly Single Christina Aguilera Returns To The Performance Stage

Christina Aguilera, who famously filed for divorce from her husband Jordan Bratman a couple of weeks ago, returned to the performance stage in Las Vegas, NV this weekend at a benefit concert which as held in conjunction with Justin Timberlake‘s annual Shriners Hospitals for Children Open golf tournament. Xtina first strutted her stuff on the red carpet before she went up on stage to perform her hit ballad Beautiful. Here are a few photos:


I understand Justin himself performed as did Sir Elton John and T-Pain … but I think the biggest name on that stage was Xtina Aguilera, particularly because of what’s been going on in her private life. As you can see in these photos, Xtina looked amazing … and she seemed very happy to be performing in front of an audience again. I think it is very smart of Xtina to throw herself back into her work right now … and performing at a benefit that raises funds for children’s hospitals is just genius. Her new film Burlesque will be hitting theaters very soon so she’ll likely be very bizzy making the promo rounds in the coming weeks. I don’t think there is every a great time to end one’s marriage but it would appear that Xtina managed to find a pretty good time to end hers.

Ryan Gosling Does ‘Interview’ Magazine

Canadian hottie Ryan Gosling is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Interview magazine and in his coverstory interview, Gosling explains how he often gets mistaken for another Canadian hottie … Ryan Reynolds. Elsewhere in the interview, Gosling opens up about his time on The Mickey Mouse Club and explains how even as a young man he was the object of many older womens’ affection. Here is our first look at Ryan‘s Interview coverphoto and some excerpts from the accompanying interview:

If you ever run into Ryan Gosling on the street, try not to confuse him with Ryan Reynolds … “I get that a lot,” the Notebook actor tells funnyman Steve Carell in the November issue of Interview magazine about getting mistaken for Scarlett Johansson’s hubby. “I do think it’s because we’re both Canadian.” He continues, “I can’t tell you how many times people go, ‘Are you Ryan?’ And I go, ‘Yeah.’ And they say, ‘Can I get a picture?’ Then they take the picture and realize, in that moment, that I’m not Ryan Reynolds. I can see the disappointment in their faces.” Gosling also reveals that when he starred in Disney’s The Mickey Mouse Club alongside Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, he would sneak off to Disney World’s Pleasure Island entertainment district. “It was geared toward an older crowd,” he says. “I remember there was one guy who I became friends with. He would sneak us in and we would go to a club there called 8Trax and dance with the secretaries, who were grinding on us. Now, that sounds completely inappropriate. I can’t imagine how it was possible.” Now about those hot bicep-baring pics in the magazine, Gosling warns Carell, “I should let you know before we get into this that the pictures which will be accompanying this interview are basically of me in tight, wet T-shirts and tiny leather jackets going around in the rain and pretending that I’m a lot cooler than I am.”

Yeah, I can understand how folks can confuse Ryan Gosling with Ryan Reynolds … they’re both hot and they’re both recognizable … I’m sure it’s easy to get them confused in person, especially in all of the excitement over meeting such men in person. Keanu Reeves Reunites With His ‘Bill & Ted’ Co-Star Alex Winter

Last month we learned that actor Keanu Reeves was working with his old co-star Alex Winter on an updated sequel film based on the pair’s 1989 film Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and it’s follow-up sequel Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. Just a few days later, Alex Winter went on the record to confirm that plans are in the works to make a new Bill & Ted film together. Over the weekend, Keanu and Alex were spotted out and about together on a movie date … which I LOVE! Bill & Ted ride again!!

It’s 21 years since Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter starred in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. But the friendship they made has obviously aged well, with the pair out at the cinema together in Los Angeles last night. Despite the two decades that have passed the two were unmistakable as the stars of the hit teen movie – even sporting similar hairstyles … there has been talk of Reeves and Winter reuniting to film a third installment of the Eighties hit. [Earlier this year] Reeves revealed: ‘Alex and I are still friends and we’re talking, and we’re talking to Chris [Matheson] and Ed [Solomon] ‘They’re going to try and see if they can write something. To me, I’d love to play the role. I’d love to work with Alex and Chris and Ed again.’

OMG … how much do I LOVE this photo! I am DYING to see a new Bill & Ted film WITH the these actors playing the roles of Bill and Ted … no remakes, no prequels … just Keanu and Alex stepping back into their early 90′s garb and bringing back that Valley talk that made them stars. What most of you young’ns don’t understand is that Bill & Ted was a HUGE hit in the early 90′s. The films weren’t mega blockbusters but they really made a huge impact on pop culture. The characters were so popular that they were turned into a Saturday Morning Cartoon series. These days, Saturday Morning Cartoons are NOT what they used to be … sadly … but in the 80′s and 90′s they were THE benchmark for pop culture success among kids. The sight of Keanu and Alex together again warms the cockles of my heart … I hope we get to see more of these two BFFs together again.

Is Cameron Diaz Creepin’ With ‘Glee’s Matthew Morrison?

Actress Cameron Diaz, who never seems to want of male companionship, was spotted out on the town this weekend with Glee actor Matthew Morrison sparking new whispers that the pair have coupled up. It seems like just yesterday that we saw photos of Cameron cozying up to Maroon 5‘s Adam Levine and model Paul Sculfor (separately, of course) … I guess her attentions have now turned toward Mr. Morrison:

Cameron Diaz was most certainly in the mood for partying on Saturday night, as she hit the town in Hollywood. But in the absence of rumoured boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, whose team The Yankees were eliminated from the baseball World Series at the weekend, Cameron decided to call up actress friend Joanna Garcia to accompany her on her evening out. And, as well as Garcia, Cameron was spotted with Glee heartthrob Matthew Morrison, who plays Mr Schuester in the hit US TV show. The pairing is sure to set tongues wagging in Hollywood, as the pair were seen leaving Hollywood club Bardot together at the end of the evening. However, friends of the Knight And Day actress have insisted she is ‘just good friends’ with the 31-year-old actor, who has previously dated Kelly Brook. ‘Cameron turned up at Bardot with Joanna and Matthew,’ the source tells MailOnline. ‘They grabbed a booth directly in front of the stage and stayed all night. The three of them were having a great time, drinking cocktails and dancing and singing along to all the performances. “I definitely didn’t get a flirty vibe between Matthew and Cameron at all. They were just like a couple of friends hanging out for the evening”‘ … And, according to our eyewitness although Morrison certainly wasn’t getting any flirt action from 38-year-old Diaz he didn’t have to go through the night starved of any female affection. ‘Girls were falling over themselves to get to Matthew,’ the source says. ‘And he was loving every minute of it’ … And, ever the gentleman, at the end of the night Morrison made sure that his two special ladies got home safely, by personally driving them both home in his SUV.

You know, despite the fact that these two weren’t all over each other this weekend does not mean that they won’t get romantically involved in the future. Many loving relationships start out with couples who are “just friends”. Whatever the heck is going on between Cameron and Matthew, it sounds like they had a blast on Saturday night. We’ll have to wait and see if love will bloom between these two. What do y’all think … are Cam and Matt headed for coupledom?
