Halle Berry, who we last saw tooling around SoCal on the back of boyfriend Olivier Martinez‘s motorcycle, decided to ditch her man so that she could take her only begotten daughter Nahla Ariela to the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Beverly Hills, CA for an afternoon of pumpkin picking fun yesterday afternoon … behold:


Awww … so cute. I gotta say, I much prefer photos of Halle with Nahla over photos of Halle with almost anyone else. Little Miss Nahla is just too cute for words. It really looks like mother and daughter had a grand time together :D

‘Cars 2’ Releases A Teaser Trailer

In the wake of the stunning success of Toy Story 3, Disney/Pixar are readying the release of their next animated film, which will also be a sequel. Next Summer will see the release of Cars 2:


I’m not gonna lie, Cars is my least favorite of all the Disney/Pixar films. I am such a big fan of all of their other films that Cars just seems so out of place among the other more superior films. While I’m not all too excited about the prospect of Cars 2, I trust Disney/Pixar enough to hope that they will do their best to make the sequel film worth seeing. Is Janet Jackson Engaged To Wissam Al Mana?

The latest rumor making the rounds today is that Janet Jackson and her billionaire boyfriend Wissam Al Mana have gotten themselves engaged to be married. Considering that Janet Jackson is a very private person and this report comes from In Touch Weekly, I would caution that you take the news with a huge grain of salt. That being said, wouldn’t it be fantastic to see Janet Jackson wed in outrageously opulent style at some point in the future?

I see if the press couldn't give Beyoncé a baby they're going to try and give Damita Jo an engagement ring. Indeed, In Touch says that Janet Jackson is engaged to her billionaire boyfriend, Iranian businessman Wissam Al Mana. The couple started dating this spring and in recent weeks, the two have been spotted enjoying each other's company at the finest resorts in the world. Allegedly, Wissam got down on one knee and proposed to Janet with a 15-carat diamond ring. Since they are "soul mates," Janet said call me Mrs. Al Mana – allegedly. While it certainly makes sense for anyone to marry a billionaire, I'll believe they're getting married in ten years when Janet finally acknowledges that they've been on at least three dates.

Yeah … no … I ain’t buyin’ it. Besides, even if this were true … we still couldn’t be sure. Janet Jackson has been married and divorced before all without any of us knowing about it until after the fact so … yeah. Rather than getting all excited about a wedding that may never happen (or we may never even know about), let’s just send our love to Janet and Wissam in the hopes that they are very happy together.

The US Version Of ‘Skins’ Releases A First Video Trailer

In August of 2009 we first learned that MTV is planning a US remake of the hit UK teen drama Skins, in August of this year we learned that the new Skins cast had been selected and that the show has started filming production. Yesterday MTV released the first video trailer for the US version of Skins and except for a few changes, it looks like the US version of the series will be an almost scene-by-scene remake of the superb original series:


All of the Skins characters are included tho some of the names and genders have been changed and the slang has been Americanized but from just this first look it appears the spirit of the original series has been kept intact. Those of you who have seen the original version of Skins will recognize every scene in this new trailer … because they are scenes that have already been presented in the original version of Skins. I’m still very worried about this new version of Skins … but, I will reserve judgment until I see the show for myself. Mark Salling Releases ‘Pipe Dreams’ In Hollywood

Last night my friend Darion and I were invited to attend Glee star Mark Salling‘s record release party hosted by Xomad & BlackBerry Lounge at MyHouse in Hollwyood, CA:


Not only were we treated to amazing food and drink all night long (grub which we were able to order using BlackBerry Messenger on our BlackBerry smartphones) but we were also treated to a live performance and meet & greet with Mark Salling himself. Mark performed a selection of songs from his debut album Pipe Dreams, due out in stores next Monday, and altho the tunes weren’t really my cup of tea, it was plainly obvious that Mark was really enjoying his big moment. The guy looked happy, y’all. Darion and I did get to meet the man himself but unfortch our photo was taken by the professional photographers working the party and it hasn’t been sent to me yet :( Darion and I managed to get a photo of our own and I got to snap a pic with Joseph from Zap2It:


We had an absolute blast. Much love goes out to Jenna and Gipson for taking such great care of us last night.

This evening, David and I will be seeing Paranormal Activity 2 and then … who knows. It’s the weekend so Happy Days ahead!!

Madonna Takes Her New Toy Boy To London

On Monday we got our first look at Madonna out and about with her reported new toy boy, a backup dancer named Brahim Zaibat, as the strolled home together from a movie date in NYC. Today we learn that Madonna & Child 2 made their way together to London and tried to step out on the town as quietly as possible … unfortch, the crush of rabid paprazzi there had other plans:

It seems Brahim Zaibat may have underestimated the level of attention he would receive as Madonna’s new man. The backup dancer made a bizarre attempt to hide from the cameras as he escorted his older lover out in London last night, covering his face with a scarf. He dropped the disguise once inside his car though, giving onlookers a glimpse of her new toyboy. Unlike her new man Madonna, 52, saw nothing to be ashamed off. She smiled at the cameras as the two left fashionable London nightclub Aura. The 52-year-old singer was firs photographed leaving a cinema in New York with Zaibat last week, whom she is thought to have been dating for the past ‘few months’. A source told gossip website X17Online.com: ‘They’ve been seeing each other for a few months but really keeping it on the down low. Madonna did not want this getting out before she had time to see if things were really going to work out between her and Brahim or not. Things have been going well so she was about to go public with the relationship anyway.’ The new pictures come after it had been claimed Madonna was dating another of her backup dancers with the same name – Brahim Rachiki. It is claimed Madonna was furious after it was reported she was dating Rachiki, and decided to set the record straight about the identity of her new boyfriend. Madonna and Zaibat were first seen together in New York nightclub SL, where they apparently started cuddling and kissing in front of clubgoers.

Poor Brahim … the guy looks absolutely terrified at all the attention he’s getting now that he’s been attached to her Madgesty. Lucky for him he brought along a security blanket to hide behind. It’s weird that Maddy has been attached to two different Brahims … but it says a lot about their possible relationship that she would bring the Brahim in these photos with her to London. Is this a new love for Madonna? I guess we shall see.

Alyson Hannigan took her little girl Satyana for a stroll in their SoCal neighborhood and let little Miss Saty walk about on her own two feet. In the process, Satyana got a bit miffed, excited and almost every expression in between … showing us — yet again — just how adorable the little girl is:


She is just too adorable for words. I cannot believe how big she is already … she is the perfect mix of her mum Aly and her daddy Alexis Denisof. We already know that the Hannigan-Denisofs are gettin’ ready for Hallowe’en … I’m dying to see what they will be dressing up as this year.

Judge Elden Fox Orders Lindsay Lohan Back To Rehab NOT Jail

A decision has been made in Lindsay Lohan‘s probation violation hearing today … Judge Elden Fox decided NOT to send Lindsay to jail, offering her one more chance to get clean, and has decided to send her back to the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA until January 3, 2011:


Judge Fox decided to NOT take the LA Prosecutor’s recommendation to send Lindsay to jail for 180 days and opted, instead, to give her “one more chance”. Judge Fox made it clear to Lindsay that he was sending her to rehab until after January 1 in order to force her to stay sober thru New Year’s … he also made it clear that if she violates probation again she will surely go to jail. So there you have it … no jail, back to rehab — for the rest of the year. I guess we’ll have to see if Lindsay decides to make the most of this “one more chance” and stay clean and sober.

UPDATE: Here are a few more deets from TMZ about what happened in court this morning during Lindsay Lohan‘s probation violation hearing:

  • Lindsay‘s next court date has been set for February 25, 2011.
  • Judge Fox told Lindsay, point blank, “You are an addict. I hope you understand that.” Lindsay nodded in agreement.
  • Both Michael Lohan and Dina Lohan were in the courtroom, on opposite sides of the room.
  • Altho Lindsay was wearing her court-ordered alcohol monitoring SCRAM bracelet in court today, she will likely have it removed sometime soon.
  • Lindsay cried tears of joy after hearing Judge Fox‘s ruling, telling him simply “Thank you.”

I understand that Lindsay will not begin random court-ordered drug testing again until after her release from rehab in January and her court date in February … which seems really odd to me, especially since she will not be wearing her SCRAM bracelet either. I suppose Judge Fox is counting on the Betty Ford Center to keep her 100% clean and sober for the next couple of months. We shall see if they are successful in that Herculean endeavor.

Paris spent a bit of time at Trashy perusing the racks of costumes and decided on one in particular. Mel Gibson Will NOT Be Appearing In ‘The Hangover 2’

A couple of weekends ago we got our first look at some of the cast of The Hangover 2 filming their first scenes for the much-anticipated sequel film. Earlier this week, it was widely reported that Mel Gibson was cast in the film to make a cameo as an “angry tattoo artist” to not only try and help revive his career but also to, I’m sure, to capitalize a bit on his notoriety. It turns out that Mel will NOT be appearing in The Hangover 2 after all, because many people involved in the film pressured the director to fire him … because those people do NOT want to appear in the same movie as Mel Gibson:

Mel Gibson’s planned cameo in “The Hangover Part II” has been canceled. Warner Bros. Pictures and director Todd Phillips say the embattled actor won’t be appearing in the sequel to the popular ensemble comedy. Gibson’s cameo role as a tattoo artist in the film was announced earlier this week. Phillips said Thursday that producers supported his decision to cast Gibson, who has been engaged in a high-profile custody battle with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, but the decision “ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew.” The film is set to reunite Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Ed Helms, who starred in the 2009 summer blockbuster. The sequel is scheduled for release next year.

Among the most vocal stars of the film who angrily voiced their displeasure that Gibson had been cast in the film was Zach Galifianakis. I have to say, I was totally annoyed when I heard that Mel Gibson was cast in Hangover 2 because I have no intention of ever supporting any of his professional endeavors again. The man is an admitted anti-Semite, homophobe, racist and misogynist … proved by his own words. My first thought after I heard about his cameo role was, Well, I guess I won’t be seeing The Hangover 2. Now that he has been fired from the movie, I can resume my plan to see the film when it gets released next year. I doubt that Mel Gibson will be persona non grata forever … after all, people (in Hollywood, particularly) have a short memory span … but I’m quite relieved that folks haven’t forgotten just yet what a scuzzball Mel Gibson truly is.

Mariah Carey Launches Her New Xmas Album In NYC

Mariah Carey, joined by her husband Nick Cannon and music producer/BFF Antonio LA Reid, made an in-person appearance in the Allen Room at Lincoln Center in NYC yesterday to launch her new album of holiday music titled Merry Christmas II You. Here are a couple photos of Mimi and her mens at yesterday’s event:

Mariah Carey showed off her new music and new curves last night as she showcased her second Christmas album Merry Christmas II You in New York. The singer was at the event with husband Nick Cannon, 30, who looked delighted to be standing up on stage with his wife. And in her tight blue dress and black heels, the singer looked more voluptuous than ever. With her blonde hair down around her shoulders, the 40-year-old couldn’t hide how much fuller her face has become over the past couple of months. The Honey star looked anything but shy though, looking her usual confident self as she smiled and joked with the crowd. Despite constant reports that Mariah’s weight gain is because she’s pregnant with her first child, neither she not Cannon will confirm or deny anything … At one point she posed for pictures with Anthony Reid, the Chairman of her label Def Jam, who claims that Mariah is just happy and looking forward to the holiday season. He says: ‘Mariah loves Christmas — and she probably spends way too much on it. She goes all out for this, so I hope that's coming through in the music.’

There is no question, Mimi looks much healthier than we’ve seen her before but, to be honest, she’s looked this way for weeks now. I’m not quite so convinced that she is hiding a pregnancy, particularly because we should be able to see a baby bump by now. I understand women who undergo fertility treatments put on weight thru the process so that is likely what is going on with Mimi right now. Whatever the case may be on the personal front, she is moving full steam ahead on the professional front. Merry Christmas II You will be available for sale next month … ready or not, Xmas is practically here.

Lindsay Lohan Heads To Court Today, Will Face The Music Again

Lindsay Lohan has successfully made her way to court in Beverly Hills, CA this morning ready to face Judge Elden Fox for the second time in as many months to determine what, if any, sort of punishment she will face for violating her probation last month by failing two drug tests. You may recall that just about one month ago, L. Lo rolled into court not expecting to be jailed … and then she was immediately jailed for her crimes. Later in the day, after she was booked and incarcerated at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, CA, Lindsay was freed on bail and immediately admitted herself into the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA to wait out the weeks until her next court appearance … which is going on right now:


Despite Lindsay‘s best efforts, it is being reported that the Probation Department here in LA is NOT happy with Lindsay and is not swayed by her stint in rehab. TMZ reports they will recommend that she be jailed for her violation … but, ultimately, the decision will be made by Judge Fox.

There was a report going around last night that Lindsay sprung herself from rehab but it turns out that that report was NOT true. Lindsay stayed at Betty Ford until 4AM this morning when she finally left the center — and went out for some Starbucks. Check out the first photo of Lindsay out of rehab (again), after the jump …


Since this photo was taken earlier this AM, Lindsay managed to clean herself up a bit (hygienically, that is) and has already made her way to court (she even got there early). Her hearing is due to begin at 8:30 AM PT so we should know very soon what her fate will be. Will she go to jail again? Will she go back to rehab again? Stay tuned …
