Chris Brown, Trey Songz, B.o.B., Nick Cannon, and other fellas all hit the GQ Gentlemen's Ball at the Edison Ballroom in NYC last night,

Chris rocked an interesting look and Trey got dapper in his black trimmed suit.

B.o.B. was there to perform.

New dad-to-be Nick Cannon hit up the event.

I see he's serious about this facial hair thing.  It does make him look more mature though...

Actor Anthony Mackie made an appearance.

And Nick kicked it with both him and Jay Sean.

Trey kicked it with his manager Kevin Liles.

And Montell Williams hit the black carpet with his wife.  Nice event.

COURTSIDE LOVIN': Beyonce, Jay-Z, & Julez Hit The Nets Game

Beyonce and Jay-Z hit up the New Jersey Nets game last night for their first game of the season.  Jay's team took home the W against the Pistons.  And we've got pics of the Carter-Knowles kicking it courtside when you read on....

The twosome brought nephew Julez along for the game. 

Bey looked fresh faced and cute for the game in her cherry red heels, tee, and jeans.   Looks like fun courtside times indeed...

BABY FAB: It's Official - Mariah Carey's Pregnancy CONFIRMED! (VIDEO)

This morning, Billy Bush, host of "Access Hollywood" confirmed Mariah Carey's pregnancy on "The TODAY Show."  Get the details on Mimi and Nick Cannon's first child inside....

 

As part of a 3-part interview starting tonight on "Access Hollywood," Mariah and husband Nick Cannon will discuss the whole pregnancy with Billy. The interview was taped a few days ago.  But this morning a clip from it was shown.  Mariah told Billy what we've al known for a while now:

"...you're the first person I've told. I mean I didn't tell anyone at all. But YES, we're pregnant. It's true."

Mariah and Nick went on about how difficult their journey has been:

"It's been tough because I've been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy and it's not easy," Mimi said.

Nick added "The greatest gift on earth is a child. The process of getting here was hard."

Nick says they took a pregnancy test 2 years ago when they went to Monte Carlo because many people kept saying she was pregnant. They found out that she was, but they had a miscarriage. But now they are pregnant again.

Mariah says the baby is due "...in the spring."  Which should make her about four and a half months pregnant.  She says they conceived naturally and she and Nick do not want to know the sex of the baby.  

Congrats to Mimi and Nick!

SPOTTED: Rihanna & Her Umbrella In NYC Headed To "What's My Name" Video Set

Rihanna reunited with her her umbrella today in Manhattan. Flicks of a laid back Rih Rih headed to the set of her new video "What's My Name" when you read on...

Rih was spotted rocking her short cutoff shorts and a nude camisole and white thigh highs in Tribeca on the set of her new video today.  The rain didn't stop her from going from her book signing earlier at Barnes and Nobles straight to the set with Drake.  Drink and slippers in tow.


 

Chick's leg game is somethin' serious.

Thandie Newton was on "The View" today discussing her new movie For Colored Girls when she let slip a little tidbit about Mariah Carey that may or may not be true. See what Thandie said inside...

 

Wow.  So did Thandie just confirm that she took the role because Mariah really is pregnant?  Hmmmm.  I think everyone is a part of the prayer circle hoping it's true.  But we won't know until Mimi tells us.

 

 

Rihanna Signs Copies Of Her New Book+Ciara Celebrates Her 25th Birthday In NYC With Chris Brown And Kim Kardashian

Rihanna has just released a coffee table book of photos called “Rihanna: Last Girl On Earth."  We have photos from her book signing inside plus flicks from Ciara's 25th birthday party at Greenhouse with Kim Kardashian and Chris Brown.  

 

 

Rihanna stopped by Barnes & Noble in NYC to sign copies of her new book of photos “Rihanna: Last Girl On Earth” earlier today.  

 

She stepped out in a lovely floral print dress. 


 

This is Rihanna's first book.

 

Ciara's and her friends were at Greenhouse in NYC last night to celebrate her 25th birthday. 

CiCI partied with one of her BFFs Kim Kardashian.

While wearing a very fitted black dress.

I would have expected a more elaborate cake.  But when you have multiple birthday parties, I guess they can't all be three tiers.

Chris Brown also stopped by the party.  Looked like a fun night.

CAUGHT ON VIDEO: "Basketball Wife" Shaunie At The Laker Game With Her Boo Marlon Yates

Well looky here.  We now have reason to believe that Gloria Govan may not be a complete goner from "Basketball Wives".  Or maybe Shaunie O'Neal just has lifetime courtside tickets to the Lakers game--despite her now ex-husband not playing for them.

We've got the video of Shaunie boo'd up with Marlon last night when you read on...

Watching the Lakers game with my honey has finally paid off.  As Laker owner Jerry Buss' daughter Jeanie was getting interviewed about some things...my nosey eye wondered to the back of the screen.  And lo and behold--it's Shaunie O'Neal...with her boo Marlon.  The video above is just a bit of the camera shots.

Now this struck me (and the honey) as odd for a few reasons.  One--who knew Shaunie was a Laker fan outside of being an NBA wife when her Laker husband Shaq played for them?  Or is she?

I was kinda hoping for some pettiness like Shaunie going to watch the Celtics game in Boston last night with Marlon.  Y'all know that would have been must-see-tv.

And then...I remembered Gloria Govan and Matt Barnes are now back together.  Maybe not "engaged" again....but definitely still a couple.  After the domestic dispute from a little while ago, Gloria dropped any charges and now Matt's free and clear.  They even hit up Monica's birthday party last weekend with fellow Laker Shannon Brown.  And since he's a new Laker, is it possible the former "Basketball Wife" Gloria is actually back in the reality saddle?  And maybe that's why Shaunie--the exec. producer of the show--was there?  The ladies ARE in the middle of filming right now.  So who knows.

Just sayin'...we find it all interesting....

First Lady Michelle Obama has a new television show with a purpose. Find out the deets plus the newest  celebrity addition to President Obama's campaign when you read on...

 

TVOne is airing a special series featuring Michelle Obama and her campaign against childhood obesity. The show is called 'Lets Move with First Lady Michelle Obama' and will center around interviews with her and Roland Martin.

When asked about her show, the First Lady commented:

"I thought that, if I don’t realize that my habits and our cultural transitions are affecting our children, then where is everybody else on this issue? And having conversations across the country, [I was] finding that more families are struggling with this issue, not realizing the impact that it’s having, particularly on the African American community — one in three kids in this country is overweight or obese, but in our community, 40 percent of our kids are overweight or obese.”

This special will also feature interviews with U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Regina Benjamin and showcases people who battle obesity in different ways. 'Lets Move With First Lady Michelle Obama' airs this Friday.  Loves it!

 

 

 

 

President Obama realizes the power of hip-hop to influence the youth to vote. Earlier, he reportedly tapped Jay-Z to help his campaign for re-election in 2012. Now, the President is enlisting the help of Common. This Saturday, Common will perform in support of President Obama at Chicago's Hyde Park.

This is one of many events the Prez will host aimed to ramp up support for Democrats in local elections. The Roots will also be performing at this Saturday's rally.
