GIRL FIGHTS: "Football Wife" Asked To Leave The Show? + Jessica White Arrested Over Cab Brawl

Mercedes Nelson of the "Football Wives" may have been asked to leave to show because of a fight with a fellow cast member, and this comes just after the first episode.  Meanwhile, Sports Illustrated model Jessica White was arrested for punching out a woman during a fight over a cab.  Get the deets on both girl fights inside...

 

 

Only one episode in and already one cast member of "Football Wives" is out. We told you about Mercedes Nelson, the ex-girlfriend of Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber a few days ago. 

Now, sources are saying Mercedes is out after she threw a bunch of tabletop items at Chanita Foster, also on the show.  According to TMZ,  producers had to shut down production and "came to an agreement" that it would be best for Mercedes to leave the show because it just "wasn't for her."

Mercedes was absent from Sunday night's premiere and VH1 has said she wasn't asked to leave, explaining, "She only ended up being in a few episodes due to story lines."  Yea....just like "boring" Lisa on the "Real Housewives of Atlanta." 

VH1 admits, "she does throw something" ... but won't reveal details ... because they plan on using it in the show.

 

Saturday morning, Sports Illustrated supermodel Jessica White was arrested after she allegedly beat down a woman over a taxi outside a downtown club.  Jessica, the sometimes gal pal of actor Sean Penn, was charged with misdemeanor assault and released after allegedly yanking the woman's hair and striking her face with her hand.

Witnesses say Jessica got into a dispute with "a 28-year-old woman" at 4:50 a.m. while trying to hail a taxi.   According to the court complaint, Jessica "pulled the victim's hair and struck [the victim] numerous times in the face with her hand, causing abrasions, swelling and substantial pain."

Some industry insiders compare the Buffalo, NY native to Naomi Campbell as she is described as a "firecracker" and trouble maker.  One source said, "She would chain-smoke on set, snap at the hairdressers and the makeup artists. She changed agencies several times because she's supposedly difficult to work with."

Jessica has been represented by IMG Modeling, One Model Management, Wilhelmina Models and Elite Model Management, and recently re-signed with IMG.

Reps for IMG deferred comment to Jessia's lawyer, Jeffrey Mennen, who said, "The police report doesn't sound like Jessica, and she must have been provoked."  Umm hmm. Isn't that the same excuse Naomi gave to Oprah?

YBF celebs stepped out last night for the 14th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala in Los Angeles, CA. See the pics inside, plus a few candids of Star Jones, La Toya Jackson and Lil Jon filming "Celebrity Apprentice"......

 

 

 

The Beverly Hilton Hotel played host to the 14th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala Presented By Starz last night.  

And Halle Berry looked great stepping out in this deep-v revealing little sequins long sleeved dress.  Not my absolute fave dress on her, but she's looking fab nonetheless.

 

 

Newly divorced Morgan Freeman looked pretty dapper last night.

Rashida Jones looked cute in this little black number.

Actress Ariel King lived up to her namesake, wearing an aqua-colored gown like The Little Mermaid. Hit or miss?

And across the country in NYC, the stars of "Celebrity Apprentice" were seen in the streets of Manhattan setting up for a challenge dealing with camp sites:

Lil' Jon looks a little frustrated by the challenge.  Or maybe the producer is just annoying.

On the other hand, La Toya Jackson seems to be enjoying her work.  We don't enjoy anything about this outfit though.

Star Jones is still trying to run things.  Looks like she is giving Dionne Warwick some orders.

I like this outfit, just not on Star.  Can't wait to see how this effort turned out.  This season is going to be priceless.

Lebron James Celebrates 'Hater Day' On Twitter

Lebron James celebrated his own holiday called 'Hater Day' on his Twitter account. Find out what happened, including the racist tweets he's been getting, when you read on...

Since Lebron started his Twitter account in July, people have been sending him angry and sometimes racist tweets. Lebron declared it was 'Hater Day' on Twitter yesterday and exposed said people. 

 

Bron tweeted, "Today is Hater Day. Everyone please let them get their 2 mins of fame and light! I Love You Haters. Continue to make me proud of u guys! LOL"

He then began retweeting some of the nasty comments directed towards him letting all of his followers see.

Some of the tweets included, "hey good game last night, too bad you’re a fraud, BITCH", "u r a big nosed big lipped bug eyed nig**r. ur greedy, u try to hide ur ghettoness", "no one wants to hear u speak. Why dont u speak by laying ur head under a moving car."

How sweet.

Lebron responded to these comments by tweeting, "U see world how people feel! Just use it as extra motivation in whatever u do best! No one can stop your dreams from becoming reality!”

He continued saying, "You’re always going to have people who love you and who hate you, I have enough motivation but I can always use a little more."

 

Check out his new RISE ad for NIKE as well where he addresses the haters.  Do you think this was an effective way to stop the hate towards Lebron? Or will it only fuel the fire?  Either way--i like that he did it.  Shows kids how he handles real adversity on the daily.  And hopefully they can follow as well.

RED CARPET FAB: YBF Celebs Hit The "For Colored Girls" NY Premiere

It was a night of tons of YBF stars hitting the red carpet premiere of Tyler Perry's "For Colored Girls".  The NYC premiere went down at Ziegfeld Theater last night, and Janet, Tyler, Thandie, Anika, Patti, Ciara, Kerry, and many of the cast and celebs were there.

Janet rocked a beautiful pantsuit with a sheer leg and red and black criss cross halter.  She looked radiant and beautiful as always.  Face is just flawless.  Ugh.  Hate her...

The writer of the original play "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Was Enuf", Ntozake Shange, made a red carpet appearance with Janet and solo.

Ciara hit the carpet on her birthday night to support the film in this cute black gathered bottom mini dress.  With cute animal print booties.

Def a nice look for CiCi.

Neicy Nash left the flower at home--Praise 'Em!--and hit the carpet in a simple black dress.


 

Estelle--who's on the movie's soundtrack--rocked one of my fave looks of the night--a full Alexander McQueen pantsuit and jacket.  Beautiful material and print.

I like the longer hair on her much better as well.

Co-stars Kerry Washington and Thandie Newton shared kisses on the red carpet.

Kerry looked gorgeous as always in this multicolored sparkled frock. She's looking thinner than usual these days, but still beautiful.

And Thandie Newton kept it simple chic in a long gray dress.  We also loved her gray Vivienne Westwood ensemble from yesterday.

Co-star Tessa Thompson hit the carper in a velvety black dress.  She's a pretty girl.

And co-star Kimberly Elise has done another Tyler film after her Diary of a Mad Black Woman film back in '05.  Pretty color blue for her in this long gown with a single embellished shoulder.

Anthony Mackie--whose movie Hurt Locker--won an Oscar last year hit the carpet.

Hey Patti!  She used her off day from Broadway to go out and support Tyler.

This cutie patootie actress Jaycee hit the carpet.

Fabolous rocked his grown-man look that I love.

Tasha Smith's twin sister Sidra hit the carpet.  Gorgeous woman.

Oh..hey Lance.  Lookin' all yummy and stuff. Great look for a guy--casualesque black pants with boots and prepping it out with a black cardigan, a tie, and white button down.  With a hot gray short overcoat.

Oh Ms. Devine.  We love you so.  But these prints and colors and wig and all that u like to wear makes us take a step back and put on our glasses everytime.  It is alot going on here.

Singer Laura Izibor traded in her curly wild locks for a sleeker pressed out look and a cutesy look with this red one-shoulder dress.


Actress Bianca Lawson hit the carpet with her dad--actor Richard Lawson.

Top Model YaYa Dacosta was there in a green animal print dress.  Had she lost the tights, I would have been all over this look for her.

Hill Harper got snug in his gray suit.  Can he breathe?  I swear Pee-Wee Herman had the same one.  Still loves you though Hill.

Boxer Sugar Shane Mosely hit the carpet.

So did actor Omari Hardwick.

Olympian Marion Jones is edging her way back into society after her admittance to using drugs to enhance her performance and getting punished for it.

And AJ made an appearance.

Lebron James filmed a new NIKE commercial called "RISE" that questions all the haters and critics who have criticized his every move this year.  See the ad inside plus we have Nicki Minaj's new video with Will.i.Am too. And as a bonus, Mariah Carey's duet with her mother Patricia, "O Come All Ye Faithful."

Annnnd he's back. Just when we thought Antoine Dodsen was done telling everyone to "Run Tell Dat...", he's back.

 

But with a purpose this time. Kinda. Check out his new Youtube vid where's pitching a Sex Offender Tracker app when you read on..

A new Iphone app that we still aren't 100% convinced is real called the Sex Offender Tracker app is on the market.  And, of course, Antoine Dodsen is its pitchman.

'Toine tapped into his personal experience of trying to find his sister's almost-sex-offender on a news video that he's now famous for.  So why not put the fame to good use and help spread the word about a sex offender tracker.

According to Jezebel, the creators of the Sex Offender Tracker app, which combines the national sex offender registry with "augmented reality" of your surroundings, are donating 5 percent of their proceeds to RAINN.

You can grab the app here.  And the creator of it says yes, Mr. Dodsen was paid for his work.  Get it homeboy!

Ciara made a beeline for the Smyth hotel when she got into NYC--it's her bestie Kim Kardashian's temporary home while she's in the City filming her new reality show.  And to celebrate Ci's 25th b-day today, the twosome headed out for a birthday lunch this afternoon.

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" episode where NeNe goes in to get all her plastic surgery amidst a fight with her hubby Greg is tonight.  So she's out and about in NYC today doing some promo.  Bravo just put out a press release today stating that the Atlanta Housewives are moving from Mondays to Sundays on November 7th.:


I guess she really is more confident than ever after her post-surgical NeNe 2.0 debut.

Some of the stars of Tyler Perry's latest movie For Colored Girls are in NYC making the rounds and we have the candids for you inside.  See Janet, Thandie and Tessa looking fab when you read on....

 

 

Ms. Jackson was spotted leaving "Good Morning America" this morning, as part of the promotional hoopla for the upcoming For Colored Girls movie.

Janet was wearing a simple gray wrapped dress with a gathered skirt and black Louboutins. Absolutely LOVE the dress. She looks great.  She also stopped by "The View" this morning rocking a very fitted below the knee black dress.

Meanwhile, her co-star Thandie Newton appeared on PIX 11 Morning News in NYC in this gray Vivienne Westwood Red Label Spring 2011 pantsuit and brown Miu Miu bag.

And she also wore grey.

Cute pantsuit.


 

And Thandie was joined by actress Tessa Thompson, also in the movie and wearing gray. Was this gray thing planned?  The movie For Colored Girls debuts November 5th.   And it boasts a history making in numbers black female cast.
