MUSIC FAB: Kanye West And Jay-Z's Cover Art For "H.A.M." Single + 50 Cent's New Headphones

Kanye West and Jay-Z recently released the cover art for "H.A.M." the first single off the much-anticipated cd Watch The Throne.  See the artwork inside, plus get a peek at the new $350 headphones 50 Cent wants you to buy called "Sleek By 50."

 

Kanye and Jay-Z just released the cover art for "H.A.M" which the streets say stands for Hard As A Mutha....  The album is rumored to drop March 1, but the single "H.A.M." should hit the internet on Tuesday, January 11 (1.11.11).  We will keep you posted.

 

 

 

And in portable music news, 50 Cent is marketing a new pair of headphones that he says is the first to offer "uncompressed wireless sound." Dude stays making business moves left and right.

The headphones, Sleek By 50, were designed by the rapper and engineered by Sleek.

Sleek says they are the first headphones ever to offer 'Wireless Hybrid' technology which lets you listen to music anywhere in your house without having to be plugged into your mp3 player. The headphones have a 60 foot range and a micro-USB rechargeable battery so if you run out of power, there's a detachable mic cable that can be jacked in for continued listening. So how much will they cost you?  Around $350. 

 

Why this new venture? 50 says,

"I know music and I've tried everything on the market as far as headphones go, but I wanted something different, something better, that really pushed the envelope and gave all music fans a new way to listen to their favorite artists. I was fortunate to find Sleek, the technology they employ and their knowledge of how we hear music truly blew me away. It was a perfect match, I didn't want to create another pair of loud headphones, I wanted to create headphones that offer top-level performance, style and new technology."

Nas Has Child Support Payments To Kelis Sliced In Half

Lawyers for Nas must have worked through the holidays because he got his child and spousal support obligations to Kelis sliced in half.  Deets inside....

 

According to TMZ, legal docs filed in L.A. County Superior Court, now say Nas must pay a tad over $5,000 a month in child support and $20,000 a month in spousal support.  That's still a large amount  but it's half of what he was originally ordered to pay. 

How'd he do it?  Nas convinced the judge the bad economy has even hit the rap game.  Well...it's the truth.

Mariah's showing off sheer baby belly.  She was spotted leaving a doctor's visit in L.A. yesterday and heading to her brand new $400,000 Rolls Royce Phantom.  A Christmas present from her hubby Nick Cannon.  I'm sure the baby(ies) will love rolling around in that.

Ouch.  The belly's starting to look a bit painful.  But Mariah looks happier than ever these days.

 

Elsewhere in L.A., Rihanna was spotted shopping at Fred Segal with her bestie Melissa:

EVENT FAB: Oprah, Gayle, "The Game" Cast, & More Promote Their New Shows At TCA Tour

A bunch of our YBF celebs hit up the winter 2011 edition of the Television Critics' Assn. press tour and we have pics of Oprah Winfrey, Mike Tyson, Gayle King and others promoting their new shows inside for you.....

 

Celebs of the small screen were out promoting their new shows yesterday at the 2011 Winter TCA Tour in Pasadena, CA.   

 

Oprah Winfrey spoke during the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network portion of the event.

 

 

She was followed by TV personality Gayle King who spoke about the 'The Gayle King Show' on OWN.

And OWN CEO Christina Norman, who was the former head honcho at Viacom, rounded out the conversation about what we can expect from OWN.  

 

 

BET CEO Debra Lee was there to introduce the BET portion of the event. 

 

 

The cast of 'The Game" and Mara Brock Akil hit the stage to talk about how excited they were to be on BET.

 

Wendy Raquel Robinson said she was happy to be back.  

 

 

As did Hosea Chanchez and executive producer Mara Brock Akil.
 

And Tia Mowry looked fab with her new curly 'do.

 

Executive producer Queen Latifah later came on to talk about her BET show 'Let's Stay Together,' coming on right ater "The Game."
 
 

She introduced Joyful Drake, who co-stars on the show.

 

And she talked about the show with the cast Bert Belasco, Joyful Drake, Nadine Ellis, Erica Hubbard, Ronreaco Lee and executive producer Jacque Edmonds Cofer.

And Mike Tyson talked about 'Taking On Tyson' which will air on The Animal Planet channel.

And he rounded out the conversation with other Animal Planet hosts Mario Costa, pigeon racer Helder Rodrigues, and Vinnie Torre.
 

Looks like we will have lots to watch this fall.

LEGAL WOES: Tiny's Drug Charges Dropped+Redskin Fred Davis A Woman Beater?!

After getting in trouble with her boo for getting some hand nookie in jail, Tiny received some good news today.  The deets on the judge letting Tiny get off--no pun intended--on those drug charges, plus news on Redskins NFL baller Fred Davis allegedly beating up a woman when you read on....

TMZ reports that the D.A. in L.A. has dismissed all drug possession charges against Tiny after she and T.I. were caught with the syrup and coke and X and other drugs while riding around Sunset Blvd. back in September.

Since Tiny completed 24 sessions of a certified drug diversion program in Georgia, she's good to go in the state of California.  The D.A. previously dropped the charges against T.I. as the arrest alone was enough to send him back tot he slammer.  Looks like her and T.I.P.'s kids will have at least one parent in the household.  Hope they've both learned their lessons now.

Washington Redskin Tight End Fred Davis has been accused of striking a female in the mouth he had "aggressively approached" at Josephine's nightclub in D.C.  According to TMZ:

The woman told police she was hanging out at Josephine nightclub -- when Davis approached her in an "aggressive" manner and grabbed her ... so she threw a drink on him.

A short time later, she claims, Davis retaliated by throwing a drink back on her -- and then striking her in the lip with an object. Sources at the club tell us the woman claimed she was hit with a champagne bottle.

Law enforcement sources tell us the club is equipped with surveillance cameras which captured the confrontation ... and cops will review the footage.

So far, no charges have been filed -- and we're told Davis is expected to speak with cops sometime today to give his side of the story.

Sigh.  I already know how this went.  Dude probably thought he could approach any and every chick in the club any kind of way because drinks are flowing and many football players think all women worship them.  Chick wasn't having it and cursed him out.  He got his feelings hurt (Josephines is a big hangout spot for the Redskins and Wizards and Ravens and he was probably with his boys )and ish popped off.  Just my prediction.  Wouldn't be the first time....

Raven Symone Debuts New Attitude And New Figure + Aretha Keeps Mum On Health Issues

Former Cosby kid and former Disney star Raven Symone is all grown up and working a new attitude to match her new slim figure.  Read about her weight loss inside, plus get deets on Aretha Franklin's health....

 

"I thought I looked fabulous before and nobody else did," says actress Raven Symone, who is sporting a different look these days after a dramatic weight loss.

Raven tells PEOPLE magazine that she always considered herself "thick and fabulous," but decided she was ready for a change after her Disney show "That's So Raven" ended.  She says it was actually the stress of the show that caused her to gain a lot of weight, and she is happy to be free from that.

But it doesn't mean she is moving away from acting.  She recently shot an ABC Family pilot called "The Great State of Georgia."

But the former Disney star is still getting used to her new body saying:

"Actually, now I wear bigger clothes because I don't like the way people stare at me," she says. "I liked it before. Now, you're just looking at me for the wrong reasons. Before, you were actually looking at me for a real reason." 

Well...we think she's fab-u-lous no matter what size she is. 

 

 

And for those of you concerned about the Queen of Soul's health, thanks.....but mind your own business.

 

In an interview with JET Magazine, Aretha Franklin told the mag:

“I am not one to do a lot of talking about my personal health or business. Not too much, not too much. There are a lot of people who will talk about anything, as long as there is somebody listening. But I am not one of those people. That’s not Aretha.”

So for those of you who think one day you will see her on the cover of EBONY talking about her battle, don't hold your breath.

“I am not going to even deal with that,” she states. “I don’t have to talk about my health with anybody other than my doctors. The problem has been resolved.”

Oh.  Welp...glad to know everythings all good Queen.

PARTY FAB: John Legends NYC Birthday+Gabby Union Parties For NBA Baller Dorrell Wright's Birthday

John Legend celebrated his 32nd birthday with a big bash at RdV in NYC last night.  His girlfriend Christine was there to help celebrate with a kiss.  And Johny's friends like Pauly D, Estelle, Ne-Yo, and more came out to party.

The Muppets Perform "Monster" + Queen Latifah Dissed By Neil Patrick Harris

The Muppets recently ventured off "Sesame Street" to put together their own version of Kanye West's "Monster" song.  See Kermit, the Count and others show you what it is to be a Monster inside.  Also, get deets on actor Neil Patrick Harris dissin' Queen Latifah at the People's Choice Awards.....

 

That was a cute vid.  I love it when the Muppets take on pop culture.

 

In other TV news...

The 2011 People's Choice Awards ceremony had a few awkward moments, one being Queen Latifah getting dissed by Neil Patrick Harris.

The pair began by dancing awkwardly together as the show returned after the commercial break, then Queen Latifah asked Neil to rate her performance as host. 

Neil said, "You're doing OK, I give you a solid B+," sarcastically.  The audience got upset and responded with a large amount of "boos." 

After losing the audience, Neil quickly changed Latifah's score to an A+, but the damage was done.

After the show, he tweeted:

"Wow, Queen Latifa gets an A+! Best host ever! And she's totally not pinning me to the wall backstage, choking me... as I... write this..!"

Queen Latifah played it cool...and perhaps she was in on the joke.

SPOTTED: Ciara Jet Skis Out Of Miami

Hold on to your lacefronts!  Ciara and her bangin' bikini bod hit the jet skis in Miami yesterday, right before heading to the airport to leave the balmy city.  Peep the pics when you read on....

CiCi took in a Heat game and did some shopping on her mini vacay to the sunny city.  And wrapped things up on the beach.
