Olympics Supergroup To Include McCartney, Lydon And Jagger?? Posted: 25 Apr 2011 12:40 PM PDT Whoa, whoa, whoa. What's this?? Organizers for the upcoming 2012 Olympic games are currently working on what could possibly be the most amazing opening ceremony ever. EVER. Directed by Oscar-winner Danny Boyle, the show is rumored to include a supergroup that will include Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Star, Sir Mick Jagger, and John Lydon (Johnny Rotten of Sex Pistols fame). Yes, this is blowing our minds as well. And we're not the only ones who are excited about this. Gold medal-winning rower Sir Steve Redgrave says: "The London Games gives us a chance to celebrate our own history… We have to show the world what we are good at. If Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo came together with great bands like the Rolling Stones and the Sex Pistols it would be fantastic. They are a huge part of our history. It would kick off the party and put us center of the world's attention." And the universe too. Just sayin'. Reality Star Books AREN'T Selling…With Exceptions Posted: 25 Apr 2011 12:10 PM PDT We see books by reality stars everywhere…but are we actually buying them??? According to THR, we're definitely buying Bethenny Frankel's first two books, which in total sold 480,000 copies! Despite Bethenny's success, we're NOT buying books by NeNe Leakes, Jill Zarin, and Danielle Staub, who all sold fewer than 10,000 copies! Yikes! Teresa Giudice's cookbook has fared better though, with 100,000 copies solid…but then we've got Snooki who only sold 35,000 copies and The Situation who sold 15,000 copies…. Ah well! Even if these reality-star-turned-authors lose shelf space at Barnes and Noble, they'll always have a place at Rutgers University! Ha! Have U bought any books by reality stars? Dr. Dre Is Now Making Car Speakers Posted: 25 Apr 2011 12:00 PM PDT Seriously! He is! Instead of giving Detox, "The Most Anticipated Hip Hop Album Ever," a release date, Dr. Dre is spending his time on promoting his new Beats By Dre speaker collection. The collection is famous for selling headphones and computer sound packages, but now it's expanded to the car market, specifically Chrysler. While unveiling the new Chrysler 300 Sedan at the New York Auto Show last week, the car makers also unveiled its new speaker system, designed by Dre himself. And Dre will also be seen in the car's new commercial to promote the brand. We love Dre and yeah, who doesn't love speakers, but let's get back to the music. Get a release date for Detox already! Toni Collette and her husband, David Galafassi, welcomed their second child together this past Friday in Australia, a boy named Arlo Robert Galafassi! According to her rep: "Toni Collette, her husband David Galafassi and their daughter Sage Galafassi are excited and proud to announce the arrival of their baby boy, Arlo Robert Galafassi. He was born on Good Friday making it the greatest Friday, indeed!" Aww! So wonderful! Hopefully the proud parents are doing well! We couldn't be more thrilled for you guys! Congrats congrats! LiLo's Appeal Will Probably Be Denied Posted: 25 Apr 2011 11:40 AM PDT Nobody has an extremely positive outlook for Lindsay's pending appeal of her broken parole ruling. Bummer! Not only could it take months to appeal, but it looks like it'll be straight up denied as well: "Lindsay's appeal will most likely be denied. The only thing this appeal is doing is buying Lindsay time to stay out of jail. The appeal will be held by the Appellate Department of the Los Angeles Superior Court, in front of three judges. "Misdemeanor probation violation appeals are hardly ever overturned, especially when the defendant has been formally found in violation two times in the past year, one time with a jail sentence, and the other time, an extended rehab stint at Betty Ford. Judge Sautner was well within her discretion and within the limits of the law to sentence her to 120 days in jail. Lindsay could have been sentenced to six months in jail, it could have been worse." That DOES look pretty bleak for Linds, unfortunately! The source continues: "Lindsay's criminal history is going to hurt her appeal, no doubt. The two DUI arrests coupled with the grand theft arrest, and the fact Lindsay has been formally found in violation of terms on three separate occasions in the past year alone, she has no shot at having Judge Sautner's sentence thrown out. If Lindsay were smart, she would give up on the appeal, and accept the fact she is going to jail. The moment she was charged in connection with the necklace being stolen, she was going back to jail for the probation violation, regardless of whether she was guilty or innocent at trial." We agree. Just do the time, prove your overall innocence in the necklace case, stay sober, and get back to acting! It's time for your life to become happy and healthy, that's for sure! We've all had a wonderful time working out with Wii fit, racing our friends on Mario Kart, and accidentally throwing our controllers while Wii bowling, but now it's time to move on. Nintendo has announced that their new system will be released next year, with a "playable" model to be showcased at the Los Angeles E3 expo from June 7 to 9. No details have been revealed about the new system yet, but we wouldn't be surprised if there were 3D capablities, and we'll definitely expect more games with that Italian plumber/hero…what's his name again…? Ha! Are U excited for the new Nintendo system?

Bill Cosby is set to perform his latest show, Bill Cosby, An Evening of Comedy, at the Sound Board in Detroit's MotorCity Casino/Hotel, but apparently, isn't pushing enough tickets for the event, because they're now being sold 2 for 1 via Ticketmaster - and they're all already going for under $45!
