Barack Obama Releases Long-Form Birth Certificate And Tells Americans To Get Back To The Serious Issues

Earlier today the President of The United States issued his long-form birth certificate proving that he is indeed a U.S. citizen silencing The Tea Party and most recently, Donald Trump.  Watch the video and read the transcript inside.....

 

Believe it or not, there are still people living in this country who believe we elected Barack Obama as president based on a forged birth certificate.  And most recently, people like Donald Trump have accused President Obama of having something to hide with regards to his birth. 

In an effort to put all of this foolywang to bed, President Obama delivered a press conference today with a few remarks after The White House issued his full birth certificate from the state of Hawaii.  And for what it's worth, Donald Trump and his trash talk disgusts me and it's not very presidential.

THE PRESIDENT: Hello, everybody. Now, let me just comment, first of all, on the fact that I can’t get the networks to break in on all kinds of other discussions — (laughter.) I was just back there listening to Chuck — he was saying, it’s amazing that he’s not going to be talking about national security. I would not have the networks breaking in if I was talking about that, Chuck, and you know it.

THE PRESIDENT: As many of you have been briefed, we provided additional information today about the site of my birth. Now, this issue has been going on for two, two and a half years now. I think it started during the campaign. And I have to say that over the last two and a half years I have watched with bemusement, I’ve been puzzled at the degree to which this thing just kept on going. We’ve had every official in Hawaii, Democrat and Republican, every news outlet that has investigated this, confirm that, yes, in fact, I was born in Hawaii, August 4, 1961, in Kapiolani Hospital.

We’ve posted the certification that is given by the state of Hawaii on the Internet for everybody to see. People have provided affidavits that they, in fact, have seen this birth certificate. And yet this thing just keeps on going.

Now, normally I would not comment on something like this, because obviously there’s a lot of stuff swirling in the press on at any given day and I’ve got other things to do. But two weeks ago, when the Republican House had put forward a budget that will have huge consequences potentially to the country, and when I gave a speech about my budget and how I felt that we needed to invest in education and infrastructure and making sure that we had a strong safety net for our seniors even as we were closing the deficit, during that entire week the dominant news story wasn’t about these huge, monumental choices that we’re going to have to make as a nation. It was about my birth certificate. And that was true on most of the news outlets that were represented here.

And so I just want to make a larger point here. We’ve got some enormous challenges out there. There are a lot of folks out there who are still looking for work. Everybody is still suffering under high gas prices. We’re going to have to make a series of very difficult decisions about how we invest in our future but also get a hold of our deficit and our debt — how do we do that in a balanced way.

And this is going to generate huge and serious debates, important debates. And there are going to be some fierce disagreements — and that’s good. That’s how democracy is supposed to work. And I am confident that the American people and America’s political leaders can come together in a bipartisan way and solve these problems. We always have.

But we’re not going to be able to do it if we are distracted. We’re not going to be able to do it if we spend time vilifying each other. We’re not going to be able to do it if we just make stuff up and pretend that facts are not facts. We’re not going to be able to solve our problems if we get distracted by sideshows and carnival barkers.

We live in a serious time right now and we have the potential to deal with the issues that we confront in a way that will make our kids and our grandkids and our great grandkids proud. And I have every confidence that America in the 21st century is going to be able to come out on top just like we always have. But we’re going to have to get serious to do it.

I know that there’s going to be a segment of people for which, no matter what we put out, this issue will not be put to rest. But I’m speaking to the vast majority of the American people, as well as to the press. We do not have time for this kind of silliness. We’ve got better stuff to do. I’ve got better stuff to do. We’ve got big problems to solve. And I’m confident we can solve them, but we’re going to have to focus on them — not on this.

Angela and Vanessa Simmons were spotted leaving their hotel in New York City and we have the photos inside for you.  Also, see what celebs were at the New Orleans Hornets vs. LA Lakers game....

 

Yesterday....

Angela Simmons was spotted leaving her hotel in New York city with her cute little dog Foofi in tow.

 

She and her sister Vanessa were out to run some errands.   

 

Photographers say Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton was there to visit Angela and was snapped tipping his driver.

 

 

And on the West Coast, the New Orleans Hornets took on the LA LAkers........

 

Ice Cube was spotted arriving.

Reggie Bush was also spotted there.

Kobe Bryant was spotted getting his thoughts together before he went back on the court.

Shannon Brown was snapped "dunking" on his opponents.

 

And Kevin Hart was impressed.

Funnyman Kevin Hart sat courtside with soccer star David Beckham and actor Jeremy Piven.

The Lakers went on to win Game 5  (106-90).

EVENT FAB: Kerry, Lala & Carmelo, & More Hit The Red Carpet For TIME 100 Gala

TIME magazine recently released their issue of their 100 most influential people in the world.  So last night, at NYC's Jazz at the Lincoln Center Hall, the TIME 100 Gala went down to celebrate.

Gorgeous Kerry Washington posed inside with Bruno Mars.  And she danced it up and hit the carpet in this floor length watercolor dress that I'm loving:

Gayle King hit the carpet with her rumored boo--Mayor of Newark, New Jersey Cory Booker, who made TIME's list himself.

LaLa looked cute in her little black dress with her hubby Carmelo Anthony.

And 'Melo kicked it with Mark Wahlberg and Bruno Mars who made the list.

While La posed with "Gossip Girl" Blake Lively who made the list.

Beyonce's "Let's Move" Dance Video

Beyonce's new video for her part in the national "Let's Move" campaign she joined forces with First Lady Michelle Obama on is here.  While the First Lady is trekking around the country helping kids and schools find ways to keep the kiddies fit, Beyonce offered her bedazzled 2 cents and remade her "Get Me Bodied" track into a video fitness routine for the kids.

The Swizzy produced remix will indeed get the kiddies dougie'ing and such.  The kids in the vid were killin' it!  Good ish for the kids.

Laura Govan & Gilbert Arenas In MORE Legal Hotwater!

And the drama just keeps on comin' with these two!  Orlando Magic baller Gilbert Arenas and his estranged fiancee'/baby mama 4 times over, Laura Govan, are being sued.  And this time...it's by the moving company Laura hired to move ish out of their home in Great Falls, VA.

 

Deets when you read on...

So as we know, Gilbert Arenas picked up and left his baby moms/fiancee' (and then-pregnant) Laura Govan (sister to "Basketball Wife" Gloria Govan) several months ago as soon as he was traded from the Washington Wizards to the Orlando Magic. 

The two had been on the downside of their tumultuous relationship, so Gilbert left her and the kids high and dry--with no warning or no money--right before Thanksgiving.  And he clearly wanted nothing to do with her as this wasn't the first time he was estranged from them.

Problem is--according to the story first broken by the Reliable Source/Washington Post--Laura never paid the moving company she hired to come her and the kids' ish in January 2011.  She used Gilbert's credit card to finance the move. She put down a $50.00 deposit for the $25,000 move.  She manually approved the charges once her items arrived to California end of January.

Gilbert wrote to the moving company in mid February--about 2 weeks after Laura issued him child support papers during one of his basketball games--that the two credit card charges Laura made to the company were fraudulent and he never approved them.

American Express refunded the money back to Gilbert, and Laura THEN changed the name on the contract--"to protect the privacy of the family"--to Laura Mendoza-Govan instead of Laura Arenas.  Hmmm....

So JK Moving & Storage company is suing the COUPLE for breach of contract under both their names. And they're demanding their full balance of $25,000+, plus interest and 40% of attorney fees.

The most interesting part of this court doc is that the moving company claims Laura--who told them her name was "Laura Arenas"--said she and the kids were moving to California in order to build the dream life for them and Gilbert after his retirement.  WTF?

Alicia Keys has been directing a LIFETIME movie about breast cancer called "Project Five" and her castmember Rosario Dawson tweeted a pic of the cast which features Jeanne Tripplehorn, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jenifer Lewis,  and Jeffrey Tambor.

HOOD NEWS: Scrappy's Mom POPS OFF About Scrappy's Ex-Girlfriend, Diamond, Now Dating Soulja Boy

We told you previously that rappers Diamond and Lil' Scrappy had both gone broke, now word on the street is that Diamond has literally moved on "greener" pastures with Soulja Boy.  But not everyone is happy about their new relationship.

Lil' Scrappy's mom even called Diamond a "low down dirty b&*ch."  Deets inside....

For those of you who care:

Over the weekend, Soulja Boy headlined the annual Dub Car Show.  But tongues starting wagging when he showed up with Diamond--bestie to Toya Carter, Rasheeda, and Kandi Burruss--on his arm.  Many people didn't know she had broken up with Lil' Scrappy, so it was a shock.  And by "shock" we mean our level of caring went from 0 to 1.5.

But not everyone is happy with their relationship.  Lil Scrappy's mom called into G. Woods radio show and popped off saying Diamond is a "fake B--ch" who has breast implants and has used injections to enlarge her ass.  Seems to be the standard with these chicks these days, but what do I know?

Moms says Lil Scrappy-- "The Prince of The South" *errr?*-- is doing well and Mama D (what she calls herself) wants to put her hands around Diamond's neck. She also said she should scoop Diamond up and put her on the corner to make money instead of her it up for free. 

On some side notes: WTF is up with everybody mama wildin' out??  First Frankie, then Wacka's mama, then Jimmy's Mama Jones, now Scrappy's ma?  And what's REALLY hood with Soulja's hair these days??

O but wait.  There's more.  Lil' Scrappy called in afterwards........ 

He was a bit nicer about the situation that his mother.  He says he and Diamond had been broken up a while so he is not mad about Diamond being with Soulja.  But the deejays instigated the situation saying Lil Scrappy put a lot of money into Diamond's career *errrrr??* and now she has moved onto someone else.  

Scrappy said: "We can't be haters.  Lil homie is doing it. Ya fell me."  He congratulates Soulja on his new role in the JUICE remake and stays above the fray telling Diamond to get her paper.   Jesus take the coked up sweated out counterfieted wheel.
