This architecturally designed house looks rather striking at night, with plenty of straight lines and large windows and outdoor area providing unencumbered views of the great outdoors and yet these same features also make it appear vulnerable to those with nefarious intent. That is when the building reveals its true purpose as the ultimate in zombie protection. At the first sign of approaching zombie hordes, the zombie proof house goes into lockdown mode, with heavy shutters and doors locking into place.
Likewise, the perimeter fence closes to slow the advancing zombies in their attempts to get at the occupants of the house.

The inside news is that the gorgeous Kate Beckinsale has been offered a lead role in the Total Recall remake. Kate has reportedly been offered the role of Lori, which was played by Sharon Stone in the original. The role helped launch Stone’s career, but Kate is far more established then Sharon was at that stage. While Kate was not among the actresses mentioned for the role of Lori, she does have some history with the movie’s directory Len Wiseman, having starred in the Underworld films; oh and the fact that he is her husband has to carry some weight…. The original Total Recall is a classic and I will watch a remake out of interest, having Kate in a lead role will be a bonus, the only downside is that I think Colin Farrel is a total tool, so that will detract greatly fro my enjoyment. After checking into a rehab facility in March to deal with health and personal issues, 34-year-old Stifler successfully completed the treatment program. The timing is good, as Seann is due to begin production on American Reunion for Universal Pictures next month. |
| Posted: 13 Apr 2011 02:42 AM PDT  Staralicious on Forbes While checking the visitor stats today for Staralicious, I noticed a lot of traffic coming in for billionaires. While most of the celebs featured on Staralicious.com would be millionaires, we rarely feature posts relating to billionaires. On checking where all these visitors searching for billionaires were coming from, I was amazed to see that they were originating from Forbes.com. So I checked the site and automatically scrolled the page, to see if someone had put a comment on the site, linking back to Staralicious.com. It took me a while to realise that the link was not in a comment, but rather featured at the top of the page and more prominent then even other posts from Forbes itself. To my thinking, it is very rare, hell it may even be the first time that a site in the niche of Staralicious gets the primary spot on Forbes.com. If you are wondering, the post Forbes linked to was one I put up yesterday about Donald Trump’s feud with Bill Cosby.

| Posted: 13 Apr 2011 02:01 AM PDT  Twilight Game Facebook Scam There is a new Facebook scam going around, where users find themselves tagged in their friends’ photo album. While the technique is not new, the material is; a previous scam featured an image of a Playboy-style bunny. the new scam pretends to be a link to a game promoting the upcoming movie “Twilight Breaking Dawn”. There is also another Twilight related scam that involves users being tricked into liking a link to the trailer and will appear in a post similar to the one shown here.  Facebook Twilight Like Scam If you click on the link you will be taken to a Facebook page which appears to be promoting an online game, being used to promote the Twilight Breaking Dawn movie, as shown in the image at the top of this post. Clciking the Play Now button results in you being clickjacked, which has the effect of having your Facebook account say that you “Like” the link, which helps to spread the link virally to your Facebook friends. Of course, it would not be a scam unless someone is making money from it. Clicking the link also presents a dialog box asking permission for a third party application to access your Facebook account, and post messages, updates and photos on your wall, as shown below:  Facebook Twilight Scam App Many Twilight fans grant permission without thinking. The only problem being that this isn’t a legitimate application request. Now that you have granted permission to the app to post to your Facebook account and this is the area where the scam makes money. The user is presented with an online survey, that when completed earns an affiliate commission for each person who completes the questionnaire. The message in all this seems to be, Beware The Twilight! |

Charlie (The Warlock) Sheen’s torpedo of truth has hit NYC and the Charlester is up for some partying. If you want to host a private party with Charlie though, be prepared to pay, as he is getting some of the highest appearance fees on offer. So how much will it cost you to have Charlie drop in to your soiree? Try $200,000, plus perks. To put this into context, you can get Kim Kardashian and her big butt for $50,000. And what is Charlie doing now? This is hot off his twitter account at 4:30am. He may be expensive, but at least you get far more value for money when calculated on an hourly rate. The dude just needs to head down under if he really wants to party.

Don’t mess with the Don, that should be the message Bill Cosby should be getting loud and clear. Trump is firing back after Cosby slighted the billionaire on “The Today Show” last week, saying that Cosby is nothing more than an underhanded backstabber. Donal got shitty about Bill’s statment on “The Today Show,” claiming Trump should either “run or shut up”, referring to Trump’s ambiguity about whether he will run President in 2012. Trump, who can’t publicly declare his candidacy until “Celebrity Apprentice” is over, had this to say in his response:
Doesn’t Cosby watch TV anymore? If he did, he would know better then to mess with The Don.
