ABC Trims Down Their 'V' Order Posted: 19 Oct 2010 01:10 PM PDT Looks like ABC's V is still getting a second season, but it will be a shortened one. Sources say that V's 13 episode order has been reduced to a 10 episode order. The sci-fi show will return on January 4, and will air at 9 p.m. after No Ordinary Family on Tuesdays. The V producers will have some work ahead of them, adjusting their season's storyline to fit everything into a shorter season. The abbreviated season of V is definitely not a positive sign. They're going to have to seriously WOW us if they want any chance for a third season! Will U watch season 2 of V? Do U think there's any chance they'll make it to season 3?

Introducing Conan's New House Band! Posted: 19 Oct 2010 12:50 PM PDT Promoting from within! When Conan O'Brien returns to late night next month, he's going to have a new music man running the show and the house band. TBS announced today that Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band will be cranking out the tunes for Conan come November 17th. Jimmy was the associate music director, arranger, guitarist and vocalist for The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and Late Night with Conan O'Brien, so he knows a thing or two about working with Conan. The other band members include Scott Healy (keyboards), Mike Merritt (bass), Mark Pender (trumpet), Richie "LaBamba" Rosenberg (trombone), Jerry Vivino (saxophone, woodwinds and vocals) and James Wormworth (drums)! Mike Tyson Sued By Paparazzo For $25 Million!! Posted: 19 Oct 2010 12:40 PM PDT We wouldn't mess with Mike Tyson if we were you! Antonio Echevarria, a paparazzo, is suing former boxer champ Mike Tyson for $25 million, claiming that Tyson beat him at LAX airport in November 2009, which resulted in severe injuries to his face, brain, spine, neck, and other parts of his body. The photographer says when he was filming Tyson and his family as they walked through the airport to get on a Las Vegas flight, Tyson told the pap, "I will kill you" and then attacked him. Both Tyson and Echevarria made complaints against each other for misdemeanor battery and placed each other under citizen's arrest. Ecehvarria was taken to the hospital for a forehead laceration, while Tyson was to taken to the Los Angeles Police Department. Tyson's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley (yes, Lindsay's lawyer), released a statement defending Tyson, claiming that the photographer had bumped Tyson's baby stroller and ignored the airport staffed when he was ordered to leave Tyson and his family alone. Holley said: "Wednesday afternoon at approximately 3:30 pm, Mike Tyson, his wife, mother-in-law, assistant and 10-month-old baby daughter were walking through the United terminal at LAX, following an eleven-hour flight. Mr. Tyson and his family were without security and attempting to make a connecting flight when they were aggressively approached by a paparazzo intent on provoking and harassing them. The paparazzo repeatedly refused to comply with the orders and directives of airport personnel to leave the family alone and continued to aggressively pursue the Tyson family–at one point colliding with the baby's stroller. There are numerous witnesses to the paparazzo's provocative and unlawful conduct which culminated in his assault on Mr. Tyson and Mr. Tyson's responsive act in defense of his family. Mr. Tyson cooperated with law enforcement authorities and demanded that a citizen's arrest be made against the paparazzo. Mr. Tyson remains confident that this matter will be appropriately addressed as the witnesses are interviewed and the facts borne out." Is Sam Ronson The Reason Xtina Left Her Husband??? Posted: 19 Oct 2010 12:30 PM PDT Wouldn't this be a TWIST! There is some interesting speculation floating around today attempting to shine some light on what led Christina Aguilera to file for a divorce from her husband, Jordan Bratman. Once source is reporting that a "major factor" that led to the split was Xtina's "close, emotional friendship" with Lindsay Lohan's ex, Samantha Ronson! Is this code for something??? Sources say that Jordan was feeling "less than a man" because of all the his wife was spending with Sam and was "frustrated" that Christina seemed more interested in spending time with Sam than him. The source adds: "Christina's been friends with Sam for a while, like they all went to Cabo in September with Nicole Richie, but they were hanging out a lot more in recent months, and they created a new posse of girls that Christina hung out with, so it started to be really frustrating for Jordan, that she had this relationship with these girls, but particularly this close one with Sam." Sir Elton Vs… Posted: 19 Oct 2010 12:20 PM PDT He's one of the biggest pop icons of our time. Not just anyone is going to make an impression on him. Sir Elton John revealed in a recent interview that he turned down the offer to judge American Idol because he didn't want to "slag anyone off" and because he isn't a "fan of talent shows." See! He doesn't sell out for money! (And don't even bother saying the words "Rush Limbaugh"!) He makes an interesting point later on in the interview, explaining that "TV vaults you to superstardom and then you have to back it up, which is hard," claiming that artists who win X Factor and American Idol are at the mercy of the songs they are given. Not that he has much admiration for people who are in "contemporary pop" without the help of television. With the exception of a select few, like Lady GaGa and Amy Winehouse, Elton admits that he thinks "songwriters today are pretty awful…everything sounds the same." We're forced to agree!
