Finishing out her promotion for her new album, Speak Now, Taylor Swift was spotted out and about in London yesterday, enjoying the sites and heading to NoBu Park Lane Restaurant. Though it might have been a table for one, as Swifty is reportedly single right now, don't feel too bad for her. In a recent interview, Taylor admitted that she didn't mind being by herself for awhile. She explained:

This makes no sense! The Obama administration filed an emergency request with the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday to stop the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. They feel the repeal "risks causing significant immediate harm to the military and its efforts to be prepared to implement an orderly repeal of the statute," but the administration is not against the measure entirely. WTF?! "They are in a very bizarre position, frankly of their own making," said legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin. If Don't Ask, Don't Tell is reinstated, "the Obama administration would be responsible for that." The Pentagon has already begun advising recruiters that they can accept openly gay and lesbian candidates as long as they qualify under normal recruiting guidelines. Although sexual orientation is not discussed on the application. The Obama administration argues that they need more time to work with the Pentagon to know how to implement the repeal. Obama adviser David Axelrod said:

It seems the GQ shoot featuring Glee stars Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron and Lea Michele was a bit too scandalous for The Parents Television Council. The group released the following statement:
It may be risque, but it certainly isn't pedophilia. Michele and Agron are 24-years-old, while Monteith is 28. Relax, folks! You're just drawing more attention to it! |

Those of us in Los Angeles who were seriously considering making the cross-country trip to Washington D.C. will now only have to travel downtown…a slightly more cost effective journey. Jon Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity will be broadcast at the Levitt Pavilion at MacArthur Park in downtown L.A. via satellite on Oct. 30. The organizers of the Los Angeles version of the event, Amy Lee and Ashley Wright, are currently looking to secure comedians and entertainers for the three-hour rally. Here's what Lee had to say about it:
The Rally to Restore Sanity will be countered by Stephen Colbert's March to Keep Fear Alive. Sounds HIGHlarious! Just six days after announcing their split, Courteney Cox and David Arquette reunited on Sunday at Malibu Equestrian Park for their daughter Coco's horse show. The two were seen exchanging hugs and tender glances as they cheered on their 6-year-old. "David would wrap his arm around her, and Courteney rubbed his back," said an onlooker. After the event, the family celebrated at their Malibu home, but no word if David was in attendance. "The thing they care most about is Coco," added an insider. "That's what they're saddest about. The host of the Comedy Central show says the rally is for people who think the loudest voices shouldn't be the only ones people hear. According to White House spokesman Dan Pfeiffer, President Barack Obama will be taping an appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on October 27th, in honor of his 'Rally to Restore Sanity' in Washington, D.C. on the 30th!
