Tom Cruise & Jeremy Renner Get Wet For ‘Mission: Impossible 4’

On Friday we got our first look at actor Jeremy Renner on the Prague set of Mission: Impossible 4 filming his first scenes with lead actor Tom Cruise. Today we get to see new photos that show that shizz got seriously serious on the M:I 4 set … Jeremy and Tom had to get in the water to film in the freezing Prague weather:


HMMM … yeah, I’m not sure what the showering situation turned out to be but … you gotta give it up to these guys … I’m certain it is no small feat filming scenes like this when the temps are near freezing. Here’s hoping the guys managed to get warm as quickly as possible after filming … in any way possible.

Madonna Steps Out With A New Toy Boy?

There have been reports going around in recent weeks that claim that Madonna has finally ended her relationship with 24-year old toy boy Jesus Luz … because she reportedly found another youngster to date. Apparently, this new guy is a back-up dancer named Brahim Zaibat … who Madonna was spotted with on a movie date over the weekend. HMMMM. Another toy boy for the Material Girl?

It seemed she had settled down once and for all with toy boy Jesus Luz. But now Madonna has stepped out with a new younger man, confirming reports she has ended her relationship with Brazilian model Luz. The 52-year-old singer was photographed leaving a cinema in New York with backup dancer Brahim Zaibat last week, whom she is thought to have been dating for the past ‘few months’. A source told gossip website X17Online.com: ‘They’ve been seeing each other for a few months but really keeping it on the down low. ‘Madonna did not want this getting out before she had time to see if things were really going to work out between her and Brahim or not. ‘Things have been going well so she was about to go public with the relationship anyway.’ While Zaibat’s age has not yet been revealed, it is thought the dancer is in his twenties. Luz is currently 24. The new pictures come after it had been claimed Madonna was dating another of her backup dancers with the same name – Brahim Rachiki. It is claimed Madonna was furious after it was reported she was dating Rachiki, and decided to set the record straight about the identity of her new boyfriend. Madonna and Zaibat were first seen together in New York nightclub SL, where they apparently started cuddling and kissing in front of clubgoers.

Here’s what I don’t understand … why can’t Madonna, who is single, date as many toy boys as she wants? She could have a different guy for every day of the week if she wanted. If this Zaibat guy is young enough, Latin-looking enough AND into Kabbalah … it might be a match made in Heaven … you know, for a few weeks that is. Let’s see if this new relationship turns into anything seriously serious.

Heidi Klum & Seal Take The Kids Pumpkin Picking

Heidi Klum and hubby Seal packed up the kiddies and made the long trek to the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Beverly Hills, CA this weekend for the family’s annual pumpkin picking excursion … here are a few photos:


As you may recall, Christina Aguilera took her son Max Liron to Mr. Bones last week — on the very day she filed for divorce from her hubby Jordan Bratman. This visit by the Klum-Samuel family seems a much happier, controversy free visit. This family is just so cute … I love seeing them all out and about doing things together.

Shia LaBeouf & Carey Mulligan Are Dunzo!

When last we saw lovebirds and co-stars Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan, they were making their way to LA together so that they could attend the 2010 Academy Awards together (she was a nominee). Since that time, the couple have not really spent a lot of time together … probably due to the fact that the couple, Oh Sh-arey, are dunzo!

Starring in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was good for Carey Mulligan’s bank balance, but it does not seem to have brought any lasting satisfaction in her love life. Mandrake hears that the 25-year-old actress is returning to Britain after cooling her relationship with Shia LaBeouf, 24, who played her boyfriend in the film. “I’m moving back to England: it’s a long story,” she told friends at the premiere of her latest film, Never Let Me Go, in the West End of London. When I asked the actress, who was a boarder at Woldingham School, in Surrey, why she was returning just a few months after she had professed her love for New York, she was demure. “I am spending some more time here at the moment,” she said. “Just spending time with my family, really” … In May, the actress, who was nominated at the Academy Awards for her role in An Education, said: “I love New York, maybe more than Los Angeles or London. I could live in New York. I think I’m happiest [there].”

Alas … another young relationship fritters away and dies. Shia recently flipped out on a paparazzo photographer who dared to photograph him, perhaps he was just pissy that his relationship with Carey had come to an end. Ah well … I suppose the old adage is true … ’tis better to have love and lost than never to have loved at all.

‘Jackass’ Of All Trades

After I enjoyed a nice, leisurely day indoors playing video games (and out of the falling rain outside), I met up with Darion for dinner at Fat Fish for a much-overdue catch-up session. After we sufficiently stuffed our faces, we picked up David and made our way to the ArcLight in Hollywood (along with Kate Bosworth & Alexander Skarsgård and Rumer Willis & Chord Overstreet … who we ran into at the theater last night) to see Jackass 3D in the Cinerama Dome:


I mean … what is there to say. This latest installment of Jackass outdoes all previous Jackass films in terms of grossness and idiocy. I almost barfed (literally) 3 different times … so, I guess the movie delivered as promised? The 3D effects were kinda cool but I was much more impressed with the slow motion effects rather than the 3D. This movie is not for everyone, it’s vile and dumb … but it made $50 million in just 3 days so … it’s a hit! Stay tuned for Jackass 4 … coming soon, I’m sure.

No plans for tonight … it’s been cloudy and rainy for the past few days, which has given me a lot of time to stay indoors and just veg. Happy Monday!!

Last Wednesday we got our first look at pseudo-marrieds Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on the Hungarian set of her as-yet-untitled film (the one she is directing, not starring in) and today we get to see a few more photos of Brangelina on set … tho, in these photos, it looks more like Brangelina were more interested in making out rather than doing any actual work on the film:


How much do you want to be that Brad put the smooth moves on Ange just so that she would allow him to play with the camera? Yeah, I totally know what’s going on here.

Watch: Willow Smith, ‘Whip My Hair’

Willow Smith, the 10 year old daughter of Jada Pinkett and Will Smith, has just released the music video for her debut single Whip My Hair. The track has been circulating online for a while now but the music video hasn’t been made available … until now:


I have to tell you … this song is amazingly infectious. It’s a bit repetitive and silly … but I bet you any money, it’ll stick in your head after the first listen. After the jump, check out the video for Whip My Hair and try not to love it …


Fun song, yeah? OMG … I love it. The video is really cute, too. While Jada and Will‘s other child, Jaden Christopher, is trying his hand at acting (he starred in this Summer’s Karate Kid remake), it looks like Miss Willow Camille is going for the music biz. This is a great debut single for a little 10 year old. Miss Fierce is already fierce, y’all.

Kate Bosworth & Alexander Skarsgård Are Still Goin’ Strong

When last we saw lovebirds Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgård out and about in public it was mid-July and there were reports that the couple’s relationship was cooling down … then … we didn’t see or hear about them for a few months. But this weekend, Bosgård were in full effect again as the couple stepped out in public together on a movie date here in LA. It would seem that those reports of the end of Bosgård were not entirely correct:


I really like these two together … I’m glad to see that things appear to be going well for the two of them. It’s entirely possible that just because Bosgård have been out of public sight doesn’t mean that there’s been trouble in paradise. Long live Bosgård!!

David Beckham’s Boys Are His Biggest Fans

David Beckham and the LA Galaxy played a soccer game this weekend against … some team … and they ended up winning … I think … but all of that is totally beside the point. Today we get to see a bunch of really fun photos from the Galaxy game this weekend which was full of fun for the whole family … the Beckham family, that is. Here are a few supercute photos of Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David cheering on their daddykins from the VIP stands at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA over the weekend:


It’s clear that the boys were really excited to see their dad in action. Aren’t they just the cutest ever? I love these photos.

As for the game, well, I’m sure it was exciting and thrilling and all that jazz … but the real show came before and after the actual gameplay. As usual, Becks stripped off his jersey at the end of the game and sauntered off the field in all his shirtless glory …


But he also put on a show before the game even got started when he did his routine of stretching warm-ups to loosen up his muscles. After the jump, check out a couple close-up photos of Becks doing his stretching exercises and see why he makes her perfect underwear model …


Um … yeah. Armani Underwear chose well when they decided to go with David Beckham as their underwear spokesmodel (it’s a shame they didn’t resign his contract). We normally get to see Becks‘ underwear from the front … as you can see, he looks good from the back as well. Aren’t white soccer shorts amazing?

Filming On ‘Sherlock Holmes 2’ Is Now Underway

At the end of last month we got our first look at Jude Law rocking the return of the glorious Jude’stache … which was our first clue that filming was about to begin on the upcoming sequel film Sherlock Holmes 2. Today, we get our first look at director Guy Ritchie and his two main stars Robert Downey, Jr. (as Sherlock Holmes) and Jude Law (as Dr. John Watson) filming the first scenes for Sherlock 2 in London over the weekend:


Awww … it is great to see the guys all together again. As you may recall, we got to see a bunch of really fun photos of these three amigos back when they filmed the first Sherlock Holmes film … and now, they’re at it again. What sorts of crazy madcap adventures will RDJ, Jude and Guy be gettin’ themselves into this time around? Stay tuned …

Taylor Lautner Surfaces On The Set Of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’

Principal filming begins this week in Baton Rouge, LA on the latest installment of The Twilight Saga film franchise and today we get our first look at Taylor Lautner on the set of the film this weekend, ahead of the arrival of his Twilight compatriots. When I spoke with Jackson Rathbone and Nikki Reed on the red carpet of the 2010 Spike Scream Awards, they revealed to me that they were bound for Baton Rouge as soon as the awards were finished taping so that they could get to work on Breaking Dawn … it sounds like the gang will be gettin’ together this week to get back to work:


It’s unclear if Taylor did any actual filming on set yesterday, in these photos he’s just chillin’ with some crew guys and a big, adorable pooch. Keep your eyes peeled, Twilighters … the fam is gettin’ back together this week … we should be seeing more Twilight stars on set in Baton Rouge very soon.

Kanye West Reveals The ‘Banned’ Album Artwork For His New Album

Yesterday afternoon, Kanye West took to his official Twitter profile to vent his frustration over new controversy surrounding the album artwork for his new album titled My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. According to Kanye, his record company expressed concerns over the album art he wants to use for his latest release … album art which he immediately labeled as “banned in the USA”. Here is the string of tweets posted by Kanye West about this latest controversy:

Yoooo they banned my album cover!!!!! Ima tweet it in a few… / Banned in the USA!!! They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix! / In the 70s album covers had actual nudity… It’s so funny that people forget that… Everything has been so commercialized now. / I know that cover just blew yall minds … I wish yall could see how hard I’m smiling right now!!! / In all honesty … I really don’t be thinking about Wal-Mart when I make my music or album covers #Kanyeshrug! / I wanna sell albums but not at the expense of my true creativity. / So Nirvana can have a naked human being on they cover but I can’t have a PAINTING of a monster with no arms and a polka dot tail and wings

LMAO!! Firstly, I have to laugh at Kanye‘s comment about “commercialization” … especially since Mr. West has made a fortune commercializing everything he can get his hands on … but I digress. It turns out that Kanye‘s album art wasn’t “banned” by anyone, apparently he was cautioned by his record label that using the art would cause problems with the actual commercialization of the album because retailers like Wal-Mart have a policy about not selling albums with parental advisory stickers on them. Superstar rapper Kanye West has become a master of all media in creating anticipation for his upcoming release, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,” unleashing songs free to the Web, conceiving show-stopping television appearances and prepping his first short film. Sometimes, as appears to be the case today, the artist’s unpredictability has even caught his label off-guard, as the outspoken artist took to the Web and declared that the artwork for his upcoming album had been rejected for the U.S. market … Kanye wrote, “They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix!” and revealed a piece of graphic artwork in which a naked representation of the artist was in a sexually suggestive position with the mythological firebird in female form. In a follow-up tweet, West wrote, “In the ’70s album covers had actual nudity… It’s so funny that people forget that… Everything has been so commercialized now.” A source familiar with West’s discussions with Universal Music Group’s Island Def Jam on the cover art agreed to speak solely on the condition of anonymity, proclaiming that he did “not want to lose my job over this.” The source seemed to indicate that the debate over the artwork was not one that was cut-and-dry. West was strongly urged to use alternate art, the source conceded, but added that West “was told if he wanted to do it, the label would stand behind him.” At issue, said the high-placed industry source, was whether or not mass-market retailers such as Best Buy and Wal-Mart would carry an album featuring venomous nudes, and one that would no doubt inspire controversy. Though sales at mass merchants have been declining in recent years, data from Nielsen SoundScan for the last two years still had the likes of Best Buy and Wal-Mart accounting for at least 10% or more of physical CD sales. A potential boycott from a major retailer would no doubt have a massive impact on West’s album sales, especially during the holiday season. “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” is currently scheduled for a Nov. 22 release in the U.S. Though retail reps were unavailable for comment on Sunday evening, follow-up tweets from West seemed to indicate that concerns over retail acceptance played some part in his refusal to alter his intended cover.

Yes, I find it very hard to believe that his album art was outright rejected by the label … but, in typical Kanye fashion, he had to go and complain publicly about something completely the wrong way. There is no “banning” of anything here, particularly because the album hasn’t even been released yet. IMHO, the album art is just weird … not really offensive by any means, in my book. But, we’ll have to wait and see what Kanye will do … either he’ll stick to his guns and release this album art or he’ll cave and choose another image instead. Which option do you think Kanye will take?
