Guy On Sunday Morning News Show Gets Slightly Abrasive

It is not that rare anymore to see pundits get worked up on news shows. But the Sunday morning network news shows have somehow remained a refuge for civil (BORING) conversation. Face The Nation, Meet The Press, This Week, and even Fox News Sunday are still largely the dry informative programs they were intended to be. Generally, they have smart guests talking in a monotone voice about the intricacies of legislation and foreign policy. This Sunday, however, one guy named Edmund Morris managed to somehow stay in a boring monotone voice while calling one of Bob Schieffer‘s questions “bullsh*t.” It is the most academically you will ever hear the word “bullsh*t” used.

Even if I hadn’t told you his name, you probably would have been able to guess after this that his name is Edmund.

Anyway, Bob Schieffer is normally pretty great, but that actual was a bullsh*t question. Bob Schieffer is getting super old, and now he sometimes asks bullsh*t questions or, like he did last year, just starts talking about how his friends should tell him not to talk about his teeth so much.

Veteran comic actor Leslie Nielsen died on Sunday at the age of 84. While it’s difficult to convey genuine sentiment towards passing celebrities in this crazy workaday Twittery world we live in while everyone’s rushing to write something ASAP to get in the trending topics (this sentence would baffle someone in 2001), I will join the chorus and add that I too was a huge fan of Nielsen’s (look how high Naked Gun is in my Facebook ‘Favorite Movies’ section! Genuineness proven!!!).
